We recently used 239 for our home inspection when we were selling a house in Naples. They missed a few major items. There were electrical box was arching they missed and could have caused a fire. The chimneys were rusted out and had to be replaced as well as half the roofending up costing us 24000.00. Also a couple of the ceilings were leaking which the never saw. I paid a large fee for the inspection and minimal amount of work was done. They are not cooperative.. I suggest people find a different inspection company. They only post the their 5 star ratings. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
239 Inspection Services is a company that I highly recommend for your next home inspection. They are thorough and their reports are generated quickly and very easy to interpret. Again, I highly recommend this service.

I cannot say enough negative things about this company. Do yourself a favor and do not hire them. They miss major issues and do not hold themselves accountable for any of it in any way. They make up excuses as they go and as it suites their cause, even if it means contradicting themselves multiple times. Their inspectors cannot spot even the biggest of issues that are in plain sight. When crawling through my attic, they made a poor excuse for how dark it was and tried to accuse us of causing the damage that was there. Then, Adam D. failed to return voicemails and phone calls and lied to my husband’s face about being able to help us before throwing legal jargon at us days later. Pat S. went on and on about his 10-plus years of experience when he inspected my home the first time and couldn’t even complete the inspection with any sort of accuracy whatsoever. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for inspection services.
Pat was timely, very professional, knowledgeable and answered all my clients questions and concerns. Report was received the next day and was comprehensive. All in all a great experience and superb customer service.
Terrible experience I was quoted one price received an invoice for 300.00 more. Also received notice they were going to share my information with Porch which I did not want. Called their office extra services were added with out my knowledge. I was assured the extra services I did not request would be removed and I would be opted out for porch. The report I paid for was sent the following day. I tried to view it and was unable because the system was trying to collect 300.00 more. I called the office again. I decided to get the wind repot. I was told I could not view the report I paid for until I paid fo the wind report. I was on a timeline due to a real estate transaction. I did not have time to look for someone else. I paid the additional fee. I sent the wind report to my insurance company. I was told it would need to be completed again because there were only exterior photos. I also received an email that my information was being shared with Porch. I again contacted 239. I was told again I needed to opt out. I had already done that. 239 has since updated the report with additional photos. There has been no apology for the bad service. I will not ever use them in the future.
Patrick was thorough, a good communicator (he even brought a little model of roof construction and went over it with us) and was efficient. I would highly recommend 239 InspectionServices!

We used 239 for two inspections we ordered as potential buyers of SWFlorida property. Both were timely scheduled, fairly priced, performed on time and conducted professionally. In addition, the reports were typically produced within 24 hours of the physical inspection. We liked them so much, we have engaged them again for updated reports when we made improvements to the house we purchased to reduce the annual property (wind) insurance costs. Highly recommended.

We used this company for our home inspection. Although they came highly recommended by our realtor, our inspection was a major disappointment. At the completion of our inspection, our inspector Doug C had an attitude and acted as if we were bothering him when asking questions about what he found. I have to say that overall The inspection experience was good, specially in comparison the the rest of the entire house buying experience. There were a couple of communication issues as the seller was very unhappy about the unannounced visit by the 4 point inspector, but all in all everything else was fine.

Home purchase inspection. Keith Johnson did our inspection and was great to work with. Many inspectors are in and out maybe 90 minutes at the most, though Keith took 2 hrs. 45 mins. and did a very thorough inspection, answered our questions, and provided an initial onsite overview for areas of concern.

They performed an inspection of a home for purchase. They inspected the home systems, appliances, mold presence, radon testing and plumbing. They provided a detailed written report in a very timely fashion. We would recommend their services. They also tested the pool equipment.

The written report is very thorough even when there were no major findings.
This inspection was for a new home built in 2019. The inspector simply documented all the issues that were already marked by the construction manager during the walk through.Several other serious items were not documented by the inspector and some of these issues have lead to serious issues with the home.Update: nothing was ever worked through to resolution as this owner claims. They offered me a refund if I signed a non-disclosure of their poor performance.I feel bad for those who think they made a good home purchase without any issues, only to learn later that they just didn’t have an inspection company who was thorough.

Pat was our inspector for this condo purchase. He arrived 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment, and began the exterior inspection. After we arrived, he then proceeded to the interior. Pat thoroughly completed each room before moving onto the next. He spent almost 4 hours inspecting the unit, including the Insect, Radon and Mold tests. The reports were promptly delivered the next day (except for radon and mold tests ) - delivered when they were completed 2 days after the initial inspection. I was impressed at the thoroughness of the inspection and the promptness in which the reports were delivered.
This company does is right! Jason performed my home inspection and he was great. I cant say enough about Jason and AmeriSpec. The report that I received was thorough and Jason called me and took the time to go over the report with me. My appointment was scheduled quickly at my convenience and the contract and payment were done on-line. I highly recommend AmeriSpec - if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.
239 was terrific right from scheduling through the inspection & follow up services. All reports were delivered on time& Pat, our inspector was friendly, thorough, & very efficient. While inspecting t roof he even cleaned out t gutters! A nice touch above & beyond, I thought. 239 also provided us with a membership to Porch, a moving services provider, another nice touch. I would highly recommend 239 Inspection Services.

This was inspection for a property that was just one year old. Inspector was there on time with all his tools. After previewing the property he decided not to complete the inspection because it wasnt sanitary enough for him. Well isnt that the reason why we hire inspectors to report issues? There was no safety issue or health hazard in this case and since we would need to complete the inspection on timely manner and explained that to the inspector he still walked alway from Inspection. We thought we hired a professional and reliable inspection company but they are far from that! This is our first and most likely last time we would call for their service.

A two hour inspection for purchasing a 2000+ sq ft house. It was so rushed which is why the list is long of things not caught or brought to our attention which has cost us over $3000 in repairs. The inspection was recently done and the inspector named Jason Schulz, was very knowledgeable and professional. He took his time to explain what he was doing and why. He encouraged me to follow him and was very thorough. We even ran into the problem of not being able to complete the inspection because of the attic being inaccessible. Not happy at at all with their inspections. Missed many things that ended up costing me thousands of dollars. Go elsewhere if you want a job done right. Initially I gave them a five star review. Over time Ive come to learn the hard way what a poor job they actually did.A word to the wise. If your buying have an inspection done by each individual trade. Electrician, plumber, hvac tech, roofer etc. They are the experts in there given field. It will be money well spent.If your selling, use a home inspection company.The reply you see below from 239 is just talk. They blamed everyone except themselves and completely ignored other things that were missed by their inspector.

2022-04-21My inspection with 239 went fine. My house is only 9 months old, but I wanted to make sure there were no obvious defects. I did not expect anything major, but Doug did find a cracked tile on my roof and several smaller issues in th house. Fortunately everything was in good shape.
