We couldn’t be happier with this service. A technician was in our area when we first called to report our A/C had stopped working, and he was at our house within minutes. He had the system back up very quickly, and checked everything thoroughly. Most importantly, he showed us what had caused the problem and gave us a good strategy for avoiding the problem in the future.
Completely misdiagnosed the problem multiple times, I finally insisted on a supervisor going out after Id already spent thousands on labor to replace multiple parts and now I still have a leak in the system then never found until the fifth trip. Look elsewhere for your HVAC service, at this rate the entire five year old refrigerant system will have been replaced due to their incompetence.
Have used Air Masters a number of times for AC maintenance and installs. They have been great every time. Will continue to use them and recommend their services to anyone.
Chad, the service tech, was extremely friendly, and took the time to explain different parts of the system, and how they operate and the reason behind them.Ive been using Air Masters since 2013, and they have always given me wonderful service!
When I called Airmasters for a third opinion for our Heat pump problem, they scheduled us for the next day. It was vital, as we had two wildly different quotes and two opinions about what was wrong! CJ came as scheduled and was professional, kind, competent and comforting as he explained with pictures of everything he saw. After we got the refrigerant we needed from him, the house is cooler and dryer like it is supposed to be! Thankyou Thankyou and Thankyou Airmasters! We expect a long life in comfort as you maintain our system!
Air Masters has services our unit for the last 12 years! They are always professional and provide the best service. You pay for what you get. You could go cheaper but Air Masters stands by their service and warranties.
Airmasters replaced the 2 ton HVAC system in my townhome with a brand new 16 SEER Trane system. They used the condenser and air handler models I chose, they did a great job, and It was done in one day. Everyone was timely and professional, and it works great. They were also able to use my existing zone controller too. Special thanks to John and KC for the install, and Chad for the inspection. Thanks!
Ive owned my home since 1994. Ive had many HVAC companies provide maintenance and service through the years. Air Masters is professional and thorough. Specifically, Chad was my latest tech. He exceeded my expectations and he is welcome back for any and all future service.

Update on 1 August 2022: the system went down on 30 July and we had the usual Florida heat. Air Masters responded the next day (Sunday) and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. The service was very professional and on time. I doubt if many companies would be so effective on weekend work. We are now cool and comfortable inside the house, while outside is a blistering 95 degrees. Thanks Air Masters!!!We had a great experience with Air Masters. They gave us a great price on a 3 Ton Trane heat pump system and a 60 month 0% interest loan. Every person we dealt with Air Masters were very professional and patient with our many questions and concerns. Tony was exceptionally responsive to our needs when preparing the order. John and Austin spent time installing the system and ensuring all work was done with the highest quality. I wish all contractors could be like Air Masters!!!
These people are so unprofessional and take advantage of the elderly. They did not explain anything they did to my mom Lillie W. a/c unit to get it back working. No paperwork about the $500 she gave them. Always in a rush, kept postponing her appointment and no business receipt given. Very rude and non communicating to her. They seem to be overbooked and always rushing.
Just had my Trane heat pump installed by Robert and Tyler after my 15 year old heat pump was not cooling. They also added an additional 4 returns to each room. I could not asked for a better install team! This is my first interaction with Airmasters and all I can say is from Sales to install the experience has been great. Robert was up in the attic in this Florida heat and never heard him complain. He did a great job and was super detailed. He took time to explain things to me during the whole process. Made sure I was happy with everything at the end of the each day during the 2 day install. I would highly recommend Airmasters for your HVAC needs. I will continue to use them for my semi annual maintenance as well.
Service was fast and efficient! Immediately identified the faulty part installed 2 days later and my AC was back up and running like new.

Air Masters is a fantastic company. They installed our AC years ago and we have been on their maintenance plan ever since. Today Chad came out for our routine maintenance and he was very professional and knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything to me and taking my concerns into consideration. This company was very useful to helping me get a new unit installed. They gave me a better quote than any other place I called. Service was fantastic! I was on the phone with Jennifer I think, but she really helped me in quoting a great price. Super respectful and really helpful. Love this company would recommend to anyone I know.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you do, BE SURE TO RECORD ALL CALLS WITH THEM!! My Trane unit is under warranty, so they were called to fix an issue. They charged me to assess it, which is fine obviously. However, during the initial assessment, I was being charged 1.5 hours when the guy was there for 20 minutes... I called to dispute the charges, and they reduced them saying it was a technician error. (went from $280 to $120). The tech said he had to charge me for driving from the last job to my house... That should have been the first red flag.After the assessment, they called me ask to approve the maximum amount of $723 to replace the broken part(a small valve that was $35 under warranty), but I was told it will most likely be less! Additionally, I was told I would NOT be charged for the technicians drive time to pick up parts nor driving to my house.At the end of my warranty fix, they were ready to charge me that maximum amount of $723 despite the fact they were done an hour earlier than expected... The manager, Jenny, claimed she never told me any of that in quotes above (thus why I suggest getting everything recorded since they do all their invoices by phone.. shady). Her supervisor, I cant remember her name, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Im in the real estate industry and know how to handle myself. She just spoke over me and would not listen. I ended up paying, and sure hope this experience doesnt happen to anyone else! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, OR AT LEAST RECORD ALL CALLS WITH THEM! ALSO, BE SURE TO DOCUMENT THE EXACT TIME THE TECH ARRIVES AND IS DONE!
Air Masters is the best! Everyone at the company is a delight to work with. I enjoyed excellent customer service right from my first interaction. In less than 24 hours I went from asking if they could do a next day AC replacement to enjoying my new AC! Thank you, Air Masters. Love this company.
They are very good with their appointment schedule. They give you a reasonable window (2 hours). Alert you if running behind. CJ has been our technician on several visits. He always remembers, plus this past visit was a routine maintenance appointment. He went out of his way to answer our questions and concerns. Very personable too!
Robert and Chad were prompt and were very professional. They answered all my questions and provided explanation I could understand. One of the problems experienced by people relocating or retiring to Florida is finding responsive, honest, professional HVAC and Roofing companies. Everyone you talk to says the same thing.. dont trust them.. they wont be in business in 3 months.. amateurs, thieves.. and so on.Air Masters lays all those claims and complaints to rest. Fromt the very 1st day back in my early days here Air Masters is and has always been Honest, Professional, Extremely knowledgeable and All their employees in both their commercial and residential are expertly trained. Just had my maintenance done. We thought we needed a new compressor for our big unit. My tech decided to check the inside wires and one was fried. He saves me quite a bit of money. Had UV lights installed. Coils cleaned. They did a great job.That’s why I’ve been with them since 2012. I would highly recommend them. They came through for me again. Pump went out. They came out several times till it was fixed.

We were sold by the presentation from the Air Masters salesman, who discussed superior installations by his company. So we opted to go with Air Masters despite their quote being significantly higher than some others we had received. Unfortunately the installers dont seem to be very capable. The duct they tried to attach has now separated 4 times from their installed air handler. Today the service department receptionist argued that they had only been back my residence once, and that the duct is not part of their installation. To clarify, our attic ducts are fine, but Air Masters cant seem to seal the duct coming from the ceiling of our air handler room and attaching to the new air handler. As this has happened several times now, weve spent a fair amount of money cooling the air handler room while the thermostat reads the warm temperature from the rest of our upstairs bonus room.
Above and beyond all my wildest expectations for an AC inspection! Especially CJ. We told Air Masters that our AC was leaking. They soon discovered that we were wrong: it was the bathroom sink that was leaking, not the AC. Which is already helpful. But wait. It gets better. THEN INSPECTOR CJ FIXED THE FREAKING SINK. Like, he saved us the entire ordeal of calling a plumber in like 10 minutes of extra effort that he didn’t have to do but did anyway for us because he is a highly skilled good person. Best AC company in the world.
DO NOT Recommend, I would give zero stars if I could. Had a leaking AC System. Tech came out, recharged but never looked for leak. I asked multiple times but he didnt have time and said they would reschedule for the future. Wanted payment for the freon, I refused because the job wasnt completed and I knew it would leak right out. Of course the new freon leaked out within a day. Had someone else repair, it was a rusted out dryer (that had been installed only a year earlier by Air Masters) and was located within arms length from the freon refill ports. Could have easily been checked and fixed by the tech.
Air Masters of Tampa Bay is top notch . I had a leak on the weekend called the after hours number and they came out same day! The technician was the best . He knew right away what the problem was and fixed it. I have a home warranty on my ac from another company which is worthless. I was so impressed with them that i bought a service plan from them.I will ONLY use Air Masters for any ac problem I will have in the future. The head man Phillip Gonzalez is the best I have ever encountered! He really cares about his customers as the techs do also.They are a 10 plus!
So happy I found this company!! I called and left a message that my A/C wasn’t working. Immediately - within seconds, not minutes - I received a response. An appointment was made for same day - about 4 hours from my call. The technician - CJ - is very knowledgeable and personable. He explained everything that he was doing beforehand and made surely I knew the whys and wherefores. He left the working area so clean that there’s no trace of all the work he did. It took me a long time but I finally found the right company and technician. They have me for life!! 🤗
I just had my AC maintenance with Danny today. He is a very knowledgeable tech, answered all my questions with patience and explained things to me so that I could understand what he was doing (I like to learn as much as I can being a homeowner). I have been a customer with them for over 7 years. Purchased a new Trane system 3 years ago from them and to date they have been outstanding and responsive to any and all service related tasks with my system.Just had preventative service completed today by Danny, second time this year. He is very knowledgeable, punctual, personable, and went above and beyond to keep my system fully functional and performing well. Thanks for doing an excellent job! Five stars for ya’ll!
Jon & Shawn arrived on time at 8am the Friday before Memorial day weekend, they did a great job removing our old heat pump and air handler. The installation of the new system went smoothly, they only replaced the items which needed replacement after consultation with us, rebuilt the return box and showed me the almost blocked condensate drain piping. Professional installers all the way, we will recommend Air Masters to anyone - their price for the system came in ~ 3K lower than another company we received a quote from and I think we received better customer service.

Had to do a repair for a home I am selling. Air masters services support tech Casey was incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional. Technician Charles was on time and great to work with! We had AirMasters install our new AC unit years ago so, we decided to go with them for a complete duct redesign & install.Robert and Shawn came out (Robert was recommended by a trusted neighbor) and did a nice job. They were as neat as can be with a job like this, and they kept us updated throughout the process of what they were doing and the ETA for completion. Robert told us that every single piece of the duct system was replaced and that we will likely see a difference once AC season resumes. We do notice already that the airflow sounds smoother than before. Robert adjusted our UV light to perform better as well. Were happy about that.They did promise to come back out at some point and spray our AC unit with a sanitizer solution so its clean as well. Thats still TBD.The only constructive criticism points we have are:1) Might want to wear shoe covers in the house at times (not a deal-breaker by any means though)2) Tony, our sales person, never did stop back. Hed indicated hed be by to have a look at things while the job was in progress.The county came & inspected and found two minor areas they wanted remedied. Air Masters came back out and took care of everything right away. We are good to go. Happy to have this project done before AC season starts.

My Mother used Air Masters for many years. When I moved to Tampa 4 years ago I had the pleasure to have them do all are AC work. They were always courteous, extremely helpful and did good work. Many of them knew my Mom for many years. Living out of state for the last 30 years I realized how wonderful it was to have these folks taking care of her for years. Many of us worry, as our parents get older, about how they are being treated. It is refreshing to know that Air Masters could be trusted. Thanks, for all you have done over the year Air Masters!

Professional, nice tech but extremely expensive to clean out over flow box. Dont need a tech to do this type of work. . Ill do it myself and save 475 dollars.

I have Air Master do my annual maintenance twice a year. CJ has been to the house three times and does a really good job for us. He thoroughly checks, inspects, cleans, sets and makes sure everything is in good working order. Cleans up behind himself so there’s no mess. I am an older gentleman and have had this done for many years but no other company has done this good of a job. Couldn’t be happier with this company. As an added bonus I am a 100% disabled veteran and need my air condition running should we have a power failure. This company quarantees me that I will be at the top of the list if I ever need them.
I have been a satisfied customer for over 20 years and recently had a problem that required repair and drywall issues. Air Masters took care of the repairs to my satisfaction. I will continue to use and recommend their services.
Good service, Technician did a good job of explaining work to be done. Had Air purifier installed and he did an excellent job with that. Also did an outstanding job cleaning the blower motor and shroud. Everything seems to be working great at this time.
I’ve used Airmasters of Tampa for several years for preventive maintenance without issue, and most recently signed up for their bi annual preventive maintenance plan (roughly $180/year for a spring and fall visit) which includes vacuuming out the condensate line, condensate tablets in the air handler pan to keep the line clear of growth, testing the pressure of the coolant loop, and confirming the electrical components are in working order. The tech mentioned the condenser unit and the evaporator coil could use a cleaning, and the cost would be about $900 for both (which I opted to do myself).
Pedro and Chino were my installers, they were on time, professional, efficient and went above and beyond ensuring that the complete system installation inside and outside were perfect, which included the need to buildup the outside slab fountain with extra dirt and rocks due to the saturated nature of the ground from the prior system draining. They walked me through the installed system and ensured I had a solid understanding how to operate and maintain going forward before they left. I couldn’t have asked for better personnel to do the installation. I’m completely satisfied with their delivery!
I had a very positive experience with Air Masters. I dealt directly with the owner who was very responsive and fair. The two gentleman who came to install my entire air conditioning unit were Pedro and Chino. They were on time, courteous, took ever precaution in social distancing and extremely helpful. They worked from 8:30 in the morning till 10 PM... Never once complaining about the long and hard work. I very much appreciated their extra effort to get my air conditioner working within the day as they had promised. Thank you to them, Charlene and Casey who handled my questions and scheduling, and Air Masters for a job well done from start to finish!
Our air conditioning started having problems after 5 PM on a business day and I thought we were just gonna have to tough it out overnight. I called and left a message and I had a return call within 10 minutes and somebody at my door in under an hour and the repair done quickly and professionally. I know there’s a lot of AC companies but these are the only people I am going to use going forward.
I had Air Masters install my HVAC (Trane) 3 years ago. It has been problematic through out. But, they have worked so hard to solve this and the staff is amazing. From senior management to technicians and customer service they are A++. It appears that it has been due to factory defect that Air Masters has had to deal with and they have eaten the cost. I have never been denied a response ( I bought the service contract) from a technician. I commend all of the members of their staff. Courteous, respectful, clean and they listen. The VP Phil Gonsalves worked with me on various issues to get us up and running. The service managers, install managers and Casey and others I have forgotten have been wonderful. I highly recommend a company like this that stands by its products and workmanship. Great people.

We used them years ago when we lived in Tampa. But around 2016, the same time we moved to south county, the company changed with significant staff changes. We found them to be overly aggressive, dishonest and the tech they sent out was rude. They are also way overpriced compared to the company we use now, which will be the one installing our new AC system soon.
I have used Air Master for yearly A/C maintenance twice now. They are on time and quick. They check everything and let you know of any findings before leaving. I have also used them when my A/C stopped working. They came out same day in the summer. It ended up being a capacitor that needed changing and the tech had the part on his truck and was able to fix it quick and affordably. I dont feel that they would try and push a system replacement when not necessary as I have seen other companies would based on reviews.
We shopped around and received multiple proposals but Air Masters offered the best value. They brought additional manpower and expertise to solve some some challenges that involved very tight spaces and running additional ductwork to reconfigure the original installation. Thanks to Tony and Jason for designing the solution and setting the strategy. Thanks to Pedro and Chino who did a very thorough and professional job. We are very pleased and would highly recommend their business.
Once again I was very pleased with the work done by Carlos at Air Masters. He was very thorough in his analysis; explained and showed me the work he was doing and the results he was finding.He offered sound logical counsel on options to help me with decisions we are considering. He was thorough in his work, respectful of our home and property, and took time to review my questions and requests, explain his answers, but didn’t waste unnecessary time just chatting.I’ve renewed my maintenance agreement and have already referred Air Masters to a neighbor who asked about their truck outside. Service Technician, Scott came out to evaluate our old AC unit and give us an estimate on a repair/replacement. Our old unit was on its last leg for the last few years and we knew it was time to upgrade. Scott was clearly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to describe our options in detail and help us choose a unit that made sense for our budget and our space. Just two days later, Installers, Robert and Sandy promptly arrived at appointment time and worked diligently throughout the day to install our new unit and handler. They were kind and respectful, protecting our carpet with drop cloths and cleaned up all dust from installation. Before departure, they showed us exactly how to operate the thermostat and answered all questions we had. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Air Masters, specifically Scott, Robert, and Sandy. We will certainly continue to do business with them in the future. Do NOT use Airmasters of Tampa Bay! While rehabbing our old house I purchased TWO complete brand new units (handler, condenser, duct work). No chance the issues we are having are because I went the cheap route and tried to match old pieces with Airmasters new products. My AC has gone out EIGHT times in the last three weeks and every single repair man they send says there’s nothing wrong with the unit. I have missed work and holidays with my children EIGHT times now sitting in a 84 degree house waiting for their repairmen. No amount of polite customer service phone reps can fix my broken $11k AC or give me that time back with My family.
My experience with Air Masters has been great from my first contact with Marilyn, the meeting with my Comfort Advisor Tony and the installation with Robert and Dave. The entire team was professional, honest, patient and courteous. I am confident I made the right decision choosing Air Masters and thankful to be working with a wonderful company!
Air Masters have given me great service for the last 3 years. They installed my unit and have serviced it every since. My electric bill was cut in half with this new unit. Scott Griffin cleaned and serviced my unit and did an excellent job. He was very informative and professional. Scott was very thorough with the cleaning, not a rush job by any means. Although my scheduled service time was originally to be between !0:00 and 12:00 today, the service technician (Allen Holsinger) arrived at 2:30 and apologized for the delay, stating that a new equipment installation had required more time than originally anticipated. Allen was personable, knowledgeable, and professional in the annual maintenance / equipment check-up of our two (relatively new) Trane A/C & Heat Pump units and air handlers. He was thorough in performing the diagnostics on both units and documented his evaluation with a number of pictures on the tablet. I have had zero issues with my Trane products over the past four years and will continue to have Air Masters perform an “annual physical” on them going forward. Thank you, Allen!

Just had a complete 2 ton ac system installed. Talked to Matt initially on Saturday. Very professional. They started work on Monday morning and finished today. Robert and Shawn were extremely courteous and extremely hard working even when mother nature hit us hard. They did a complete clean up and were extremely respectful and just awesome to deal with. We live in an age where customer service seems to have fallen a bit short of expectations, but NOT Air Masters. Their customer service is at a very high standard and is a breath of fresh air. They even informed us of everything being up to code. We had another company come out first, but they did not inform us of such. Their financing is easy and a breeze to do. Yes - excellent service. I am a first time residential customer with Air Masters. I contacted the business for a quote on a system replacement - heat pump and handler. I met the residential sales manager Matt Larson at my home and he provided a system review with recommendations and a detailed contract. After reviewing a couple of other service providers I gave the job to Air Masters.Matt - On job day Matt came over and we went through everything together. Even though I had some changes on site, Matt and his team were willing and able to adjust to the new request - and the job went through to completion without a problem on that day.The Installation Team - Robert, Quinton,and Frank - I provided an Excellent evaluation at sign off when Robert and I reviewed everything together at the end of the day, but I would say that their attitude was even better and clearly Outstanding. Robert and Quinton endured my endless questions and provided clear answers and advise on system operation and maintenance. I was also provided with some recommendations for improvements going forward that will help me take care of my investment. Special thanks to these outstanding professionals.Ill be seeing Matt next week for the final inspection. It looks like I have found a business I can trust and rely on for my home comfort needs.
Air Masters did an excellent job removing an existing unit from a 10ft high platform from one side of the house and installing a new unit on a new platform 10 ft high on a different side of the house. A new air handler was also installed along with a new duct/vent in a stairwell and a new thermostat installed inside. All new copper and electrical wires and conduit was needed (the electeic was subbed out, different review) and Air Masters went above and beyond my expectations and hid almost everything in the attic. It was probably 120° up there in late June in central Florida....From start to finish they answered all the questions I asked (alot) and cleaned their work areas daily as if they were never even here. They even brought us 2 mobile AC units to use while the 3 day job was being completed (electrical added an extra day). This is the 2nd home we have had them install new units on and they have been nothing but professional on both homes. We will be using them for any future maintenance that is required to keep the units in tip top shape....

We have had Air Masters for over ten years at two homes. Each time we have needed them they have been incredibly responsive, sometimes at very odd hours. Today, Carlos was our tech. He was professional, knew what he was doing and diligent in his work. And very kind to boot.A couple of years ago our daughter needed a new air conditioner. Outstanding service! The crew was amazing and thorough service to detail. They took the time to explain the issues and how to repair my system . I unfortunately had a a/c installed by another company and they did a awful job creating all kinds of problems. Then refused to fix their errors unless I left them a 5 star rating. honestly I think they just didnt have the knowledge to fix it unlike air masters . I was referred to air masters from a friend. They came out and diagnosed the incorrect work and had a plan to fix it. So I hired air masters to fix the problems.They were amazing and very professional. I have never been as impressed with the level of expertise and workmanship as I have with Air Masters. In addition to servicing our older system we just had another system replaced. The courtesy, efficiency and knowledge of Robert and Troy was outstanding. Not only did they pull and replace the old system in our condo and on the roof in less than a day, when they left you couldn’t tell they had been here! Robert explained all aspects of the new system clearly and made some helpful suggestions.The follow up inspection was done by Steven who is the consummate professional both in his knowledge of HVAC engineering and residential applications. His explanations of system nuances in our particular condo made sense and is helping us get more out of our investment. Not only did he inspect the new installation, he also serviced the older system. He even identified and fixed a somewhat peculiar corrosion phenomena on our roof unit which I know in the long run would have been a major headache. Overall I can’t say enough about the pros at Air Masters. Even the office staff has been a pleasure to deal with. We’re hooked!

Air Masters Installation crew showed up on time and did a great job on the installation. It was 105 outside and probably 130 degrees + in the attic crawl space. Roger the install manager explained everything to my satisfaction. They started the job and finished the job in one day. I recommend them highly.
Air Masters has me on a yearly service contract with my a/c & heating unit, which in Florida is an excellent preventative practice that all homeowners should do. Their customer service department is excellent with communication & courtesy. The day before your appointment they call to confirm, & the day of your appointment, they call to provide a window of time the service person will be at your home, & if the service person is ahead of schedule, will call to see if you will allow them to come earlier. I had Scott at the last servicing of my unit, & he was courteous, nice, & informative, letting me know exactly what he was doing to the unit, & how it would benefit the unit for the upcoming brutal summer months. He went further to address my concerns about the unit possibly being a bit old, explaining to me that the particular unit I have, is a very well made, & with the proper upkeep, probably had several more years of excellent use before replacement needed. My father was a very respected & successful General Contractor in the Tampa Bay area for years, & he knew quite well a lot of the a/c contractors in Tampa. Air Masters was at the top of his list, & that should be good enough for anyone. It is for me, & hopefully they will dedicate themselves to the same standard of excellence for years to come.Updated review 10/2/19: Air Masters continues with their A+ customer service & highly skilled technicians that service my HVAC unit. Scott came to my home for my biannual service on the unit, & explained each aspect of his inspection of the unit & all he was doing to clean, tune up, & restore the unit so it would continue to perform at maximum efficiency. He was patient with my questions, informative, & made sure if any issue with the unit should occur at all, to call Air Masters immediately & ask he personally come back to my home to address any issue with the unit. Tons of HVAC companies in the Tampa Bay area, but Air Masters in the top tier of these companies in my book.
As an update, we also used Air Masters for our yearly maintenance and the tech who came out, Scott, did a great job. He was very informative about the actions he was performing, didnt take any shortcuts, and answered all of my questions.We recently used Air Masters to replace our entire central air system. They were very prompt at restoring air to our home and the installers were all very courteous. We had some minor issues during the installation, but Air Masters in the end worked diligently to make everything right. What is most important to me, is they had our satisfaction as the highest priority. We will definitely use their services for years to come.

I just bought my townhouse a few months ago, and the air conditioner was working, but starting to have trouble keeping the place at the temperature that was requested of it. I had Gary from Air Masters come and inspect, clean and maintain the unit yesterday. He was very knowledgeable, trustworthy and patient with all of my related questions. Great attitude, honest, helpful. The AC is working like new. He did a fabulous job. I originally contacted Air Masters because they maintain the air conditioner at my mothers place, and they will be the ones maintaining my air conditioner. I definitely recommend them!

We had two systems replaced by Air Masters. Their pricing was very competitive and each element of the job and its cost was explained to us before any commitment was made. Air Masters sent two crews to make the installation. Work was done quickly but carefully. A field supervisor visited to make sure things were going well during the installation. New electronic thermostats were programmed and we were trained in how to use them. Everything was cleaned up after work was done to our satisfaction. We have been impressed with Air Masters. They have done everything they said they would do before, during and after the sale. Highly recommended.

Thank you for finally giving us AC! Robert and Sandy did an amazing job today and fixed a problem created by the first company over 10 months ago!!! The first company spent over 10 months trying to fix “the problem”, but the real problem was they didn’t know what they were doing. After our frustration reached its limits, we contacted Air Masters. Robert came out and almost immediately knew that what the other company had done was VERY incorrect and validated everything we had been saying to the other company. It was like a breathe of fresh air! We FINALLY had someone that knew that they were talking about and he was listening to our concerns, AND he had solutions. Not only that, the vice president Phillip has kept in contact to make sure everything is getting done. I can now finally say that our AC is working properly. Air Masters installed a 3 ton American standard along with replacing 10ft of ducting and charged me over $16,000.00. They pulled the permit 3 months after the job was completed and never had it inspected. They also left 2 huge holes in my garage ceiling because they made mistakes when determining where the new ducting would go through the ceiling. Not to mention the poor customer service representatives that have terrible communication skills. Horrible company!!! Stay away from them!!!
Overall my experience with Air Masters was good. I obtained a good 16 Seer Trane unit at a decent price and I would recommend Air Masters. Pedro and Chino are good guys and they were very accommodating. They appeared to do a good job but I really wont know until the job is inspected. One minor issue is that the access panel in my garage cieling was not re- installed in the exact original location and I cannot properly re- install the ceiling hook that I used to hang my bike on. Also, one side of the access panel does not seem very secure so I will need todeal with this.
Air Masters installed my system about six years ago and have maintained it as well. The communication from the company is excellent, and they have been very responsive to any concerns Ive had. I appreciate the good service.
Great Experience! Scott was very knowledgeable & helpful in guiding our choice. Our installer Robert was very professional, polite & did excellent work. The whole Air Masters team kept all the appointments, as scheduled. We bought an upgraded 2 stage, variable speed unit. Well worth the additional cost. Very quiet & convenient with the wifi thermostat. You know the install was flawless when the City Inspector was impressed. We passed with flying colors.
Matt Larson was my first contact in person. He made things very easy to understand. He answered my concerns and made me feel at ease. After checking on a second estimate I came back to Air Masters because I felt most comfortable with them. I also got more for my dollar with them as I received a 15 SEER Unit. The second estimate I received was for a 14 SEER Unit and cost $1925 more. The install team consisted of Steve and Austin. These guys worked as a team and completed the job hours earlier than I expected they would. They came on time and didn’t leave a mess. They wore face masks, as did I. This was important to me considering the COVID19 state we are living in. They were professionals start to end. If these things are important to you, then consider hiring Air Masters. They get a big thumbs up from me.

Our scheduled tune up became a service when our fan went out on our a/c unit. We were scheduled right away and Carlos Crespo came out right on time and fixed our unit.. He was just full of information and courtesy. We had several questions about their LED purification system and the information Carlos provided made us decide to schedule to have one installed. We have been using Air Masters for yearly maintenance and we just recently needed our air ducts and other pieces replaced in the attic after noticing a leak in our ceiling due to ducting that fell from the suspension. They worked very quickly, efficiently and their availability on scheduling was shortly after the inspection. We have an old 1925 home so everything needed to be replaced instead of repaired and the cost was very reasonable.
My old Trane unit died and needed to be replaced. Previously, I had been with my last A/C company (Bay Area Heating & Cooling) for 11 years and always paid for their maintenance contract. During the heat of the summer, I was without A/C for 3 days and my old A/C company said that I would need to wait another 7 days before they could replace the system. Given that I was a long-term priority customer due to an underlying respiratory issue, I was shocked at their response.So, I went online and researched the most reputable Trane dealers in the Tampa area. Through a combination of research and phone calls to my network, I found Charlene OGrady at Air Masters. By this time, I was desperate and panicked as I could feel my health withering in the heat & humidity.Charlene took charge and assured me that she would take care of me. Within 24 hours, I had a new Trane system up and running. She was able to adjust the schedule to accommodate my needs and I will be forever grateful.The price was completely reasonable and in-line with the other companies but I promise you the service was priceless. If you want to sleep at night knowing that you have a responsive company, Air Masters is the gold standard for service.Highly Recommend!
Calling Philip and his team at Air Masters was the best thing I did. I had another company out to do one little service, they ended up saying that I needed all new ductwork and a new system.Air masters proved that it was a scam and cleaned my system at a great price.I will definitely be an Air Masters customer for a long time
Our repair tech Charles was great. My AC had some ice build up due a loss of some refrigerant. I contacted Iearna AC that did the install 2.5 years ago and they wanted $500 for a leak test and then projected $1,100 - $2,200 for the labor depending on where the leak was. I sent Iearna away and called Air Masters for another opinion. Charles arrived and immediately went to work to diagnose the problem. He found the leak outside from a bad weld done at install. He was able to fix the leak and recharge the system quickly and the cost for everything was about $500 which is what Ierna wanted just to find the problem. I am grateful for the integrity of Charles and your company and will be a returning customer.

I bought a brand new HVAC system (Trane) and from the 1st installation through this day they are terrible. Their technicians are nice but have no idea what they are doing or care. They only want to sell sell sell you upgrade after upgrade. My unit is less than 3 years old, but they see we are elderly and try to take advantage of us. This is a slow time of year so they are constantly trying to keep their crews busy buy selling needless upgrades when the new one does not work. If I cannot resolve this I am going to sue them.
Robert and Chad did an excellent job of replacing my old system. They were very professional and answered all my questions. They explained things as needed. They did a good job of cleaning everything up and were easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for any installation work.

I had a no cool call placed into them. They were very prompt and the technician Scott Griffin was awesome. No need to buy a new system nonsense. I just needed a lot of small work repairs. He was very knowledgeable and spent his time doing everything correctly. As a former HVAC technician I would ask him some questions that I already new the answer to and he was spot on. I can’t say enough about the attention to detail and quality of work. Air Masters also replaced two 5 ton Train A/C units at another residence of mine and EVERYTHING perfect. Just saying that this is my experience. Been through companies that say that they do HVAC/ plumbing, etc. They are garbage. As a business owner I know how to keep people happy by doing exceptional work. I will keep recommending Air Masters of Tampa Bay to all my customers.
We purchased a top of the line Trane air conditioning system 3 and a half years ago and have had them perform twice yearly maintenance on it ever since then. On July 24,2020 our ac started blowing nothing but heat. James came out and checked the entire system and said that we needed a new thermostat. This visit we were charged $154.00. He did not have the one we needed so they sent Gary out on July 27, 2020. He checked the thermostat and reset it and that we didn’t need a new one after all. On August 11, 2020 a lightning strike knocked the thermostat out again and they sent another tech out. I told him on his arrival that the only problem was with the thermostat but he insisted on going over the entire system again even though James had just done that on July 24, 2020. He still did not have the new thermostat to put in for us. Now they are going to charge us another $275 which will make the total $429.00 for a new thermostat. We, my husband and I, feel this is outrageous for the amount of replacing the thermostat which we were told needed replacing on the first tech’s visit and neither one of the other two technicians brought a thermostat with them. When I spoke with Erika she kept telling how many visits they had made. I do not feel it is our fault that they had to make that many visits when the problem was diagnosed correctly on the first visit by James.My name is Dorothy Kay HeyAnd we still don’t have a new thermostat. I am amending my review due to a call from Casey the service manager with Air Masters. She called and is reducing the price that we were quoted so I now feel much better. We had always had positive experiences with this company until this happened but they are making things right with us. Thank you Casey.

Robert assessed the problem and proceeded through the steps necessary to resolve multiple issues. The result: our A/C is up and running. 4/22/20Because of the issues surrounding this pandemic, I was reluctant to have any service technicians come to the house. Carlos showed up in a mask and gloves and reassured me completely that our safety was his greatest concern (I can only hope my own employees are as cautious). Besides the usual excellent service, I appreciated very much him taking the time to teach me how to clean the drain2019 Having been a customer of Air Masters for many years, what I value most is the consistency in their response to handling problems that arise from time to time. I had another issue just recently with my home AC. The tech that was dispatched (Carlos) was yet another very competent and courteous individual who identified the problem within minutes and fixed it to my satisfaction that same day. And, as busy as he was, he nevertheless patiently took the time to explain the situation to me and how to prevent it in the future.
Air Masters installed an 18 SEER unit in my home one year ago (they had previously replaced a second unit under a different owner in 2014). I had my one-year maintenance visit yesterday. The tech arrived early and scheduling was kind enough to work around my schedule. The tech (Alberto) provided me with a complete update on the state of both systems and was very professional throughout. He used shoe covers to avoid tracking in debris, cleaned up any insulation that was dislodged from the attic from the inspection and provided a comprehensive report. Ive used several HVAC services throughout 13 years in Tampa and while Air Masters is not the cheapest, Ive found them to be the most professional, timely and comprehensive.
Air Masters installed my A/C in Feb of 2015 and have serviced it semi annually since. They are the best in the Tampa Area. The technicians are capable, knowledgeable and courteous. They are on time with your appointment and have never tried to over sell their products or parts. I have referred them to friends and will continue to have them service my unit.

I would absolutely recommend Air Masters to anyone who is in need of a new a/c system. We spent several months researching a/c companies & getting at least 5 quotes. We decided on Air Masters due to the thoroughness of the time Phillip spent at our house answering all our questions & going over every thing that would be done, the type of system installed, ect.. along with a very reasonable quote. They were not the cheapest & not the most expensive..but we felt the price was very fair compared it to the other quotes we had received. Plus we were having some additional vents installed & cleaned out as well. We also have a friend who works in the a/c business when we were trying to decide who to choose (it was between air masters & another company) & he highly recommended Air Masters along with the other company but when Phillip called us back (when no one else had) to touch base & wasnt pushy at all about us making a decision we knew who we wanted to do business with. Air Masters was at our house the following week installing a new a/c system & the two guys they sent out were wonderful. Timely, pleasant, did a great job on installation & cleaned up after themselves & also answered all the questions I had before they left. The Trane a/c unit works great! Its quiet & we are really happy with our decision. From beginning to end was a good experience & its not always like that when having work done in your home. Even in the end when there was a confusion about the rebate Phillip made sure to correct the mistake & that was very much appreciated. I wouldnt hesitate to call Air Masters for any type of a/c work.

BewareNon responsive, changes prices on quotes between emails/phone calls, never showed up 3 different appointments.We only needed Ducts put back after we had some one else demo.under the home and redone our Vapor Barrier so the reinstall the duct work would be simple and fast and very inexpensive.Airmasters started out $1,349 on verbal phone call with the tech and quoted this price, they never showed up for the reinstall appointment then get an email stated a price of $1,849 from the tech, i spoke with one of the owners She said what ever the tech quoted on EMAIL they have to honor which was ($1,349) 2-3phone calls later i finally received a call back from the tech and says cant meet their PRICE POINT for that price now it will be $2,849..WTH....After speaking to both management and the tech the Company sources out to 3rd party....So done with lies and being tossed aroundManagement tells the tech to call us to make a gift offer to erase the poor review we posted and called and lied that he was the Management, we are so discussed and done with this company, as BBB website tells we should of checked with them first.From now on any and all companies we will be checking Angies list and BBB.

We had a great experience with Robert, Matt, and the rest of the team at Air Masters. We hired them to replace two air conditioning systems. They were professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. There are lots of choices for A/C companies in town, but this is the best.

Had to argue to get the thermostat set the way the original one was set. Then had to do it myself with the tech on the phone otherwise another charge. And this was a warranty replacement.
It hasn’t been a week, but Matt Larson was very professional and knew his business. He made sure I knew what was going to happen, and took the time to answer my questions.The guys Jon and Troy were funny, played with the cats, but got the job done timely. We just had routine service performed on the air conditioning unit in the townhouse we rent. Scott was very professional and knowledgeable. He called us to let us know when he was on the way, which I really appreciate. I would recommend him and Air Masters to anyone looking for air conditioning and heating services.
Have been using Air Masters for a lot of years. Really like their commitment to service and regular maintenance of my HVAC unit. I get it serviced twice a year and with an older unit, that has really cut down on repairs needed. Alberto does a great job!
The service technician arrived early and preformed the cleaning flawlessly.
My A/C went out 3 days after a scheduled maintenance. A technician came out and found an issue that probably could not be identified in a regular maintenance visit. Because of the storm ETA, the Company had to repeatedly reschedule the visit of repair technicians. During a break in the storm, the Company sent over 2 technicians who fixed the issue but then identified another problem in the system. Because of the storm, the technicians could not proceed and left. The next day another technician came out, our old friend Juan. Juan had done maintenance on our A/ C many times in the past. Juan worked 3 hours and restored our A/C. But the best part was yet to come. The Company greatly adjusted our bill because of the numerous visits made and the inconvenience to us! The bill was VERY REASONABLE!!!!. Thank you Air Masters and Juan!

Just had my ac unit maintenance (every 6 months) performed on our 11 year old unit which AirMasters installed. Scott G. was very professional and thorough. He explained everything on the check list, closed all doors and fence gate before leaving. I was given a courtesy call prior to Scott’s arrival which was great. I would like to say this company went above and beyond for me. My unit went out and I had called several companies before calling Air Masters. Air Masters was the only company that called me back and came out the same day. They sent out a service tech by the name of Herbert. He was very polite and courteous. Once he found my problem, he explained to me what was wrong and how he can correct the problem. Herbert also gave me the total before any work was done. He repaired the unit that day and once it was complete he talked to me in terms I as a woman could understand. He did not try to up sale anything or push anything on me. He explained how the unit works and how important it is to change your filters once a month,which no one has ever told me. I was very impressed with his knowledge and how he took the time to explain things to me. I will recommend Air Masters and Herbert to my family and friends.
Carlos is very professional. He called us to let us know he was on the way. He took great care to be careful in our home. He also made some positive recommendations to improve the efficiency of our system, which we will follow. We are very happy with the wonderful service we received today.

I have used Air Masters to service my AC/heating unit for 19 years. I have always had amazing service with one exception. Juan and Scott have been my go-to guys and have always been professional, nice and worked in an efficient manner. I would highly recommend Air Masters.
Very tough job to dismantle old AC and install new one was done very skillfully without an damages or spills. Team leader Robert showed great craftsmanship and ability to communicate effectively explaining he operation of the control panel of this high end TRANE AC system.We are highly satisfied with the service and attention we received from Matt as supervisor.

I have the highest regard for these people and Company.Perhaps I should maybe take slight of a star away because the thermostat installed with my new system was faulty, but hard to do that since they were here within 45 minutes of my calling them with the issue.They were extremely polite as well as neat. Cleaned up after the install. Not my OCD clean but must admit they did a fine job.I would feel comfortable recommending Air Masters (and I do not make recommendations often).
Called Air Masters of Tampa because house not cooling down. Found out it was a freon leak. A major repair and it was taken care of quickly. About 2 weeks later similar problem, this time there was apparently a communication problem, with the air handler inside and the compressor outside.This reportedly had to do with the new sensors that were replaced when Freon leak was repaired. Air Masters took care of this quickly, even spoke to the manufacturer to diagnose and adjust the sensors.No charge for visit today, as they stood behind their work.Quenton and Danny, HVAC techs., were both professional and courteous.Thanks Air Masters of Tampa Bay.

From beginning to end, I could not have been more satisifed with the work that Air Masters performed. Once Air Masters got approval from my landlord they were here very quickly and had my air conditioning fixed in very short time. The were very prompt, communication throughout the process was exceptional, the technician inspected everything and told me why I had a problem and what he did to fix it. Great Company.
Absolutely awesome company. Their initial presentation was really thorough and they followed through with everything they promised. Cant really ask for more. I was having really bad issues with my asthma and allergies and they installed a halo system that drastically made a difference! No regrets at all!
I bought a Trane 3 ton XR16 air conditioner and gas heater through Air Masters of Tampa Bay. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but was blown away by the outstanding customer service extended to me by the company’s manager, and the expertise of my 2 techs, Pedro and Chris who installed the units. They were so cheerful and accommodating and did a thorough, fantastic job! I love my ac and heater and would gladly recommend their services to anyone!
We just got a brand new AC unit inside and out today from Air Masters for our home. Robert, Cedric and Brandon were the ones installing them today. All three of them were very nice and respectful, Robert was very helpful with every question we had and was very detailed on everything he explained to us. We have used Air Masters since 2006 when they installed our new AC system and the annual contract since that time. I found that they are always courteous and efficient in their cleaning of the system. Just had a new system installed. Excellent work again.

Scott came by for a routine maintenance on my unit. First time working with him. Ill admit, I am VERY picky about who works on my system because I did have issues with it when it was first installed. Not Air Masters fault, but the manufacturer of the unit. I usually give a background history of the repairs that were done to this unit. Although they have it notated, its nice to let them know what happened. Not only did Scott do a thorough inspection of my inside and outside unit, he did a duct inspection as well. One of my ducts was kinked and he fixed it and now air flows freely through it. Never knew! We talked about air quality products because of the dogs, dirt and dander in my house. Been doing business with this company for many years and havent had any issues with them. If something does come up, they make every effort to fix it. Polite, professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend them.
The team of people involved putting our mini-split into the garage were all very professional, on time and polite. The office personnel called to make sure our schedules were coordinated and then called the day when the work was to be done to confirm when they were coming out. They installed a new heat pump and air handler a couple years ago. Everything went well during the installation and they did try to get it in quick during August due to the old one breaking down for good. I signed up for the maintenance program which is reasonably priced.They did a huge job on my neighbors house and he did not run into any problems.UPDATE Sept 2017 - We are still using Air Masters to service the heat pump every 6 months and have not any problems the 3 years we have been using them. Same goes for my neighbors house I mention before.
We had Air Masters come and add a second unit to our home for upstairs. During the summer it was unusable because of the heat. Their crew was amazing! They came when they were supposed to, finished the job on time and the price was reasonable. When the county came to inspect the job the inspector even said “oh yes ... Air Masters is the best, their work is always on point!”. Thank you guys for giving me back my bonus room!!
Air Masters replaced my air conditioner unit efficiently and professionally. Matt (the salesman) was friendly, and (as promised) did return after installation to check everything over to make sure that it was installed properly. This attention and customer care will keep me with air masters.
I have been incredibly patient and was trying to not post this due to Covid as I understand this time could pose difficulties. I had the main house AC unit replaced on 9/12/20. A month later a pipe was clogged and I was charged $94. I wasnt supposed to be charged and im still waiting on the credit/refund after asking at least 4 times. In parallel I asked for our guest house units to be cleaned and have maintenance conducted on the units. Took 3 appts (rescheduled, needed more equipment), which was completed on 10/27, to be fully prepared forcing me to rebook other services I was having done at the the house. Still uncertain of the bill for that work and where my credit is. Frustrating experience and confusing when working with W. and E in the main office.
Air Masters recently installed three AC units for me. The installation team (Robert, Matt, Pedro, and Antonio) were very efficient and completed the work in only one day. Matt and Kevin later followed up with visits to check the systems. Overall, the work was thoroughly professional, including the end-of-job cleanup following the installation. Further, communication was quite impressive as I was continuously informed of the schedule and all work was completed in a timely, thorough manner.
Air Masters was great and had their technician Scott here within a couple hours. Scott diagnosed the problem immediately and resolved it and performed scheduled maintenance. He let me observe and explained everything which allowed me to learn. When I had some follow up questions he was prompt to get back to me and everything he said was spot on. We had to have one of our units replaced and friends of ours recommended Air Masters, they have been using them for many years.We decided to give them a call, and glad we did. From the office staff, sales team, installation and service technicians, a professional and friendly team.
I had air masters out to my home when my unit was not cooling. One of their technicians (Fabrizio) were sent out to my home. He was able to tell me shortly after looking into my unit that it was leaking refrigerant. He promptly called his office and got me a quote to make the proper repairs. Their service dispatcher Kristen was able to look up and tell me my unit was still under warranty! I had no clue it was. The parts were ordered once I agreed to pricing. The technician was able to get my unit cooling until the repairs could be made. The parts came quickly and Kristen promptly called me when she had recieved them. My unit is now back up and running thanks to this wonderful company. They made my repair process very easy and everyone was so nice during the process. I would recommend air masters to everyone I know
We have used Air Masters for the installation of a complete new Trane system, and more recently for complete replacement of our duct work. I have dealt with various a/c companies in the last 20 years, and there is not another company which comes even close in terms of professionalism, technical knowledge, efficiency, cost and honesty. From the sales staff to the installation staff, you always get a thorough and complete appraisal of what is needed, they are extremely trustworthy and stand behind their work. The installation guys do outstanding work, and completed our job in the heat of the summer with a minimum amount of hassle. Also, everyone you deal with at Air Masters is genuinely nice. Air Masters is an outstanding company and should be your first call in the Tampa Bay area for any a/c installation or repair.

Fast, friendly, courteous, professional, on-time service. Came out immediately, found the cause of a minor problem and fixed it for a very reasonable charge. A bi-annual A/C service contract with Air Masters is well worth the cost. They will do what needs to be done and, unlike some other companies, will not try to sell you things you dont need.

I have been on their maintenance plan for about five years now, and I am quite satisfied with it. I get two free inspections per year, one just before the summer heat and one just prior to what we call winter. If my unit needs service I get a discount on parts and labor. The technicians are generally polite and knowledgeable, and they are very good about showing up on time and about calling me to tell me they are on their way. I recommend them.
I had extensive work consisting of replacement of ductwork and installed a new air purification system. Robert and Sandy arrived early and worked very late to complete the job all in a day. Both men were concerned and caring hard workers keeping everything clean and hauling off all of the old unit.
The crew at Air Masters have gone above and beyond for us. They solved a sporadically occurring issue with our system, carefully listening to the customer concern. We felt we were being treated honorably and fairly at every level of the company, from Phillip, to Linda in Sales and Installation, to each technician who worked on our system. We strongly recommend them as a company that does what they say they will do, and follow up to be sure that the customer is satisfied.
Typically I require just preventive maintenance on my Trane AC. Today Gary arrived as scheduled, performed the required maintenance, plus taking care of several things not normally noticed in routine service. Its the little things that make me appreciate Garys excellent work and Air Masters support team. Never consider anyone else.
Technician was on time and completed all the work as scheduled for our maintenance check up. They were fairly priced for maintenance calls. We used them several years ago to put in our new ac unit and have been satisfied ever since.
Air Masters has been doing our semi annual maintenance for a little over a year. They have done well on the maintenance, but are non-responsive when we call to get repair work done. For example, we asked them to check out the electronic filter that is not working on September 5, when they came for the semi-annual inspection. We asked three more times since then, but to no avail. They are friendly on the phone, but do not follow up with any action. I also called them to request a price to relocate an air vent in the library to make room for new shelves. I was told that the installation manager would call to schedule a time to look at it and give me a price. I never got a call, so I did the relocation myself. I do not intend to renew my maintenance agreement after this one expires. I will find an HVAC company that is more responsive to our needs.
WOW……where do I start. Our AC system had recently shut-down so called Air Masters whom sent Alberto out that afternoon to evaluate. I had already checked to see if a breaker had tripped or that our drain line may have backed up….not the case. From the start he meticulously evaluated the situation and found out a secondary breaker on the air-handler itself had failed and needed replacement. He had to by-pass it for the time being as he did not have the same type of 60-amp breaker with him and needed to get the unit running. Once the air handler was running he discovered our compressor was not going into it’s 2nd stage so began trouble shooting that as well. Bottom line….an extremely professional, through and neat service tech whom I highly recommend. I’m in the customer service business as well and would welcome all the Alberto’s I could get as part of our group. Job well done Alberto and the Air Master’s staff/team!

2022-07-12Initial response was very good and technician arrived on time. We purchased a home with new HVAC unit and it was time for the one year service. We called due to a loud buzzing coming from the electronic air filter. Upon arrival, the sales pitch started for a service contract. They checked air flow and temperatures and cleaned out the drain line. I asked about the electronic filter that was buzzing and he stated they were self cleaning so he tried to stuff tape balls around it to keep it from vibrating. (that didnt work). So after he left I googled electronic air cleaner maintenance and they are not self cleaning. I pulled the filter assembly and it was in terrible shape. My guess is it had never been cleaned because the former owners were also told that it was self cleaning. Not sure how a professional HVAC service company doesnt know to check the filter. I called and requested the service manager call me before I post a review about my experience, but after several days and no call, I decided to post this.

2022-08-06Air Masters was recommended by a friend. We had another company perform yearly maintenance and Freon leaks were found. One was an easy fix on outside unit however the coil in air handler had a serious leak. They estimated about 3k for the repair. From past experience repairing coil leaks won’t hold long so we decided to replace our system. Air Masters had the replacement Trane 16 SEER, 2 stage, 5 ton unit we wanted.Tony (sales) walked us through details of the unit and arranged installation. Pedro and James installed a few days later. System is working really well and impressed with how well it cools and how quite it is.From sales to installation through inspection impressed with Air Masters. Also will sign up for service contact to protect our investment and keep it in top shape

2022-06-01The service tech was on time and and very knowledgeable. He did a thorough job and documented all key areas of work with photos which he emailed with my statement. There was no high pressure to buy something (which is one thing I hate about AC contractors in general) and he was pleasant and courteous the whole time. I like how Air Masters operates.

2022-07-14I work in a suite of an office building, and on my day off, the building manager had a technician come to service our air conditioning while other staff was present. Jose, the technician, had to move a cabinet and many boxes to service the area he was called in for, but did not put anything back after he was through, leaving a mess behind; in addition, the staff members present claimed he appeared to be upset about something, and had a poor attitude.While it appears this company has a pretty sound reputation, this particular visit was not a good one; Im posting this review not to give others a negative impression of the company as a whole, but rather to warn them about this individual technician, should he be scheduled to perform a service for anyone else.In conclusion, professionalism is expected, and while we all would rather be on a beach in Tahiti, a man is expected to buckle down and get the job done properly, minus the baggage.Thank You!

2022-07-16I had air masters come out for preventative maintenance on a new house we just purchased. Turns out it needs a lot of work but Chad was extremely professional and honest about the best direction to go. I would recommend calling this place if you find yourself needing AC repair.

2022-08-17What’s in a name and a reputation… everything! I did a lot of diligence on the replacement of my 2 air conditioners. At some point you have to trust the company and employees that you decide to do business. Things do not always go perfectly but I must say Tony Johnson and Air Masters responded in a way that any consumer would love to have as a response. Can’t say enough about their dedication and execution that supports 100% customer satisfaction. Highly recommended

2022-08-03No business is inherently bad, and some of the people I have worked with at Air Masters have been good. The reason i recommend NOT using them is three fold: they are inconsistent, unreliable, and lack accountability. I am happy to discuss at length my experience and that of my sister (we both own homes with back houses and had terrible experiences with them). Feel free to reach out to me if i can provide more detail. I would gladly do that.Some specifics:1. We had a tech come out that misdiagnosed a problem on the AC unit. We had a second company come because things felt wrong. The second company had a different diagnoses. When we told Air Masters about this they sent out a second tech and they agreed with the other companys interpretation. Yet they still charged us ~$300 plus for the original techs time all while conceding he was wrong and took too long to diagnosis. Thats just shady.2. We had them install a new unit on a back house. I had to follow up with them to get the paperwork and permit after the install. Their inability to be proactive is a common theme. Much of this is due to what i have seen as a very messy process and organizational system for client management and billing.3. I paid for service on my main unit and after it was serviced they never reached out to follow up with me on my next service appointment. I had to remember that it had been some time and then call them. They said, oh yeah, your service contract expired and we were going to mail you something about renewal. They didnt.4. They had to access one of the condenser units in my attic. I have an old house and told them to please be careful about the access. They were not. They pulled the trim around the entrance off the hinges yet said nothing about this and didnt acknowledge their actions or needs to address.5. Finally, they upsell everything. I can appreciate its a business, but their approach is just slimy.There are plenty of businesses in the area that offer similar services. I would highly suggest using someone else.
