Recently had my downstairs AC unit replaced. After having my AC serviced with another company for many years, I decided to find a different company because the service from the previous one was really lacking but prices kept increasing. Some companies get too comfortable with long time customers and need a little shake up.I am pleasantly surprised with Amteks customer service. From Michelle and others at the front line to Juan M. their efficient install tech, Sharon with finance, and John F. their Quality Control inspector, each team member made this transaction a smooth one. Also thanks to Bill J. who first diagnosed my failed unit and Chris, the manager, who worked with me and made you feel like a valued customer. Good job guys!
We had a tech named Michael come out after hours and he figured out what was wrong quickly. Unfortunately it was a major issue and he had to get the parts the next morning but he didnt leave my kids and wife without air. He went out to the shop and brought us a portable ac to use for the night so we didnt have to get a hotel. Super nice guy and fast response with over the top customer service.
My son just purchased a home 3 weeks ago and the ac started acting up. Called Amtek as they installed the unit and they sent a tech(Greg) the next day. Greg was extremely professional and courteous. He showed me the issues and thoroughly explained what the problems were. They are coming back tomorrow to complete the repairs and hopefully the techs that come out will be just as great
I just want to recognize Monica who has been my service technician for the last 2 visits. She is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I trust her advice and have the peace of mind of knowing that I have a competent professional providing my service. I have been using Amtek for over 5 years now and have been very satisfied with their service. They have installed new AC units in 2 separate residences as well as a tankless hot water heater. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good, competent service.
Awful workmanship, professionalism and service. Amtek installed the unit in my 95 year old Grandmother’s house five or less years ago and we have a service contract. I am thinking they took advantage of her. My wife and I have been staying with her for the last thirty days and this company has been out four times, about to be five, with no result. Each technician that comes out blames the last technician. On the second visit the lady was unprofessional, threw her company under the bus, as well as the other techs, and told us this was an installation issue. She said she would schedule the installers to come work on the unit. That was weeks ago, we have called twice since then because the system is continuously shutting off and still no installers have come by. My recommendation is to use another company, they will not fix your problems.
The techs name is Ajay. He called when he was on his way and gave us an approximate time of arrival. He was prompt. Upon entering our home and without being asked he removed his shoes. We then had a conversation, during which he listened to our description of the symptoms we were experiencing with our unit. He then proceeded to troubleshoot, during which he pointed out things which we hadnt observed and offered short, as well as long term suggestions and solutions. Ajay was very thorough and meticulous in the installation process. He took great pride in doing the best install possible. Upon completion he ensured we understood how to use the thermostat to achieve optimum performance as well as provided us with maintenance tips. He allayed our fears and left us feeling cool and comfortable.Thank you Amtek! Thank you Ajay!
Allan and Alex were both extremely friendly and helpful. They turned what could have been a very negative experience into a positive one. We had issues with our old unit after they completed a tune up. They came back late to accommodate my working hours. Allan helped me receive a good deal on a new ac unit and mended my ancient ailing one until the new one could be installed.They both made sure my husband and I were pleased with the service and the purchase of a new unit. I would highly recommend Amtek Air.
I met with Mike who took the time to adjust & explain my thermostat to me. He didn’t charge me for this. He then explained the benefits of a contract. Once he told me the price and that I get a two year contract for the price of a one year I signed up.Amtek was referred to me by a neighbor’s who is very satisfied with their service.
Greg S was called upon to service my second house. Greg was as good, if not better than Jim. Amtec has some really good technicians on their staff. Greg also was professional, on time, knowledgeable and courteous. He had our system running again in short time.AMTEC installed a new 4 ton unit in a rainy, hot day, needing outdoor compressor AND hot attic pan, and air handler installation. Terrible conditions but they kept their promise. Highly recommend AMTEC. Bob D
My elderly fathers has a maintenance contract with Amtek and is VERY happy with this company! They are always available if there is a problem, efficient in their work. Kind and friendly - taking the time to explain thoroughly what needs to be done or what issue they have resolved.I would highly recommend this company!
We called about our air not cooling the house properly and they got us on the schedule the following day (THANK YOU!). Our tech came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He performed the necessary tasks and had our air running smoothly again. He showed us and explained to us what happened. We understand how we can try to prevent this issue from reoccurring. We were charged a fair price for the services rendered.Thank you Amtek Air!!
Wonderful service by a professional technician - we arrived home after being away for a couple of weeks to 87 degree house on a very humid Sunday. The on call technician was 90 minutes away but came out at 6 pm to fix the issue (common problem). A ‘ten’ from every aspect!
Tech sent out quickly. Even though very high pressure to increase sales, they are very efficient and knowledgeable. However, they never registered our new A/C unit with Rheem so we only get 5 yr warranty instead of the 10 yr if they had registered it as they are supposed to and said they were going to !! The unit needed a new compressor on4 yrs., just under the 5 yr limited warranty. With the exception of high pressure sale tactics and lack of registering, or giving us ANY info on the unit, they were quite good....
Our agent was Willie B,very personable and informative.There was never any sales pressure felt by us from Willie. He went over every detail of how the install would be done,permits,equipment and the men who would be installing the new unit. Aside from the fact that Willie and I share the fact that we like stock car racing and restoring cars,it seemed like we had known him for years. We had other businesses come and give us estimates besides Amtek and while they were also very nice and professional,my wife and I decided to go with Amtek. So those of you out there who are in need of a new AC unit,check out Willie B and the boys,youll be glad that you did.
AMTEK has the best service!! Willie arrived promptly and assisted us with our much needed tune-up. We have three air conditioners in our home and they were in desperate need of servicing as our prior company did a poor job with maintenance. Willie is always fantastic, great energy, and more than happy to help. AMTEK really goes above and beyond.
I first started working with Amtek about a year ago. They nursed my 14 year old machine back into health. Now that it is Failing they were extremely helpful in getting me a great deal on a new 5 ton machine. Their technician Willie was very polite and helpful. So far I am very satisfied with their work and service.. I would recommend them to any of my neighbors or friends.
I have done business with this company over 4 years and have never had any issues with their service. Very prompt, courteous and quite professional in all aspects of their business. I had an issue with a blocked drain, but I didnt know that when I called.I only knew that my A/C wasnt working and it was hot. I called the office and Joanne scheduled someone to come out ASAP. Frank was there within 2 hours of the call. He immediately recognized the problem and had it fixed very quickly.Both of them were extremely professional and a pleasure to do business with. This is what customer service should be. I highly recommend calling AMTEK if you have an Air Conditioner issue.
Amtek Air called me about a promotion they were having to service my air conditioning. I took them up on the promotion and had it scheduled for the next day. It was explained to Meredith, who was very nice, that I would have someone there to meet them when they came because I work out of town. The next day I had my mother go to meet him and he refused to do the service. I spoke to him on the phone and he claimed that it was a legal issue and that I had to be there just in case there was something I had to see. It was total bullshit to make up for the fact he was being lazy or I needed to be there so he could try to sell me on a new AC even though I just wanted preventative maintenance to be done. Ive had other AC companies at my house before with other people to meet the technician and never has this been an issue. Its employees like this who can damage a companys reputation and word of mouth. Unfortunately I didnt think to get the techs name. I would never use this company again even with the promotion. There are too many better AC companies out there to deal with this.
Compressor went and was without air for a day but they came out as soon as possible. We were given options of replacing just the compressor on an old system or upgrading to a new system with a warranty. They worked with us with financing and everything. Allen and Alex were very professional and nice to work with. Cant wait to get the new system!!
My girlfriend and I need a whole new AC unit installed ASAP. Tim, who first came out to our house, was great he explained everything we needed. Went over our options with us. Answered my girlfriends million questions and gave us a great deal compared to the other quotes we were given. The workers came out 2 days later and were very friendly and polite. They worked extremely hard, cleaned up after themself and even switched some vents we had facing the wrong way. I would highly recommend them to any friend of mine.
I am so pleased to have had service done by Brandon . He pointed out more info regarding my A C. Unit that was never before mentioned by previous techs that I was very impressed. If ever I need service again, I do hope Brandon is on duty. He’s very knowledgeable and very polite.
I have been a customer of Amtek Air for sometime now and will continue to do so. I a very pleased customer with their services. GREG their service tech was so professional, curteous, and extremely informative. He answered all my questions that I had; i learned alot about my unit. Love this company.
We appreciate the professionalism of Amtek employee’s, Chris and Chris. Their customer services are beyond the basic, “done” attitude. They took their time to explain what was needed and prevention maintenance. We will definitely use Amtek Company in the future, especially if the services are like the one received from the Chris’s.
The sales rep that came to my home was extremely professional. I was very pleased with his services.When the installers came to my home I questioned him on his work. He was putting the new air conditioner on my old wet board that was to hold up the new air conditioner. The board was to be replaced and was written in the work order. The installer told me they were fitting the air conditioner for size and then would remove it once the fitting was done. I was reassured they would replace the wet board that would be holding the new unit. I was surprised and told them that was a lot of extra work. The installer again reassured me that this is how it was done.When the work was finished I saw the board had not been replaced I told the installer and he reassured me he changed it because if he did not do what the work odder said he would be fired. I questioned him again and showed him the wet stains that was the same form the old board and told him I did not believe him. He swore to me that he replaced the board. I showed him the same wet stains that were there from the same as it was on the old board. He painted some more wet stain on top of the stain to cover up the water stains and told me he spilled glue on the new board and it was not the water stains. Again I told him I did not believe him and he needed to change the old board to a new board. He told me to trust him and walked away. He swore it had been replaced.I have pictures of the old board with the same water stains as the new board. The water stains can be seen clearly.They also damaged my baseboard that goes around the door frame and they did not replace the damaged frame work. I have pictures of before and after.I called office and told them the whole story. I have yet to hear back from them.
Amtek came out after 3 other companies who were far too pricey and offered no financing for us. Matthew was able to get the ball rolling on not only the permits and ordering of equipment but also got us an extension of credit so we didnt have to come out of pocket so much (saving us almost $1500 up front) for the replacement unit.. GOD BLESS you Amtek, after a month without AC, you all are truly a blessing!! I only wish we would have known about you sooner!!!
Over the years in this house weve seen quite a few incompetent AC companies look at our system and give suggestions. Some outright ridiculous and some practical enough to merit trying. Some of those caused more damage than the system originally had.It got to be a crap shoot picking someone new to look at our system. To be honest we cant remember how we heard of Amtek. We like companies that have service contracts since it forces us to keep up with maintenance which we otherwise sometimes forget. Amtek has been a great find.Theyve come out on some very bad hours for emergency repairs and Ive heard few complaints from their techs. Theyve never left us without a working system. Most times its something covered by the maintenance contract.Recently weve noticed that our power bills were creeping up and the house wasnt getting as cool as it had been. Amtek sent Jon out who saw the problems right away.We got them done in stages as our budget allowed. It finally came down to the most expensive repair and Jon went through our whole cathedral ceiling attic several times in the hottest part of the summer. He has it planned to do the most to update our very old system into something much more efficient. We have every confidence in Jon and Amtek to accomplish this.Thanks for the hard work and careful planning.
Great company with great employees, very helpful and knowledgeable, he helped me with all questions and outcomes, even saved me some $ and got me back on my maintance 2 yr contract, not very often do you feel good after an AC breakdown and paying $, it was well worth it today
Willie was a true professional. Amtek called and advised that the technician would be here within 30 minutes. Willie knocked on my door within 15 minutes after I received the call. He was the master of efficiency at every thing he came here to do.He did a complete assessment of my compressor and air handler. He flushed the drain line with vinegar and vacuumed the line to insure there was no sludge in it.Willie took the time to educate me about the system and advised of additions a that can help in extending the life of the A/C unit as a whole.He no pressure approach is greatly appreciated and I will most likely buy my replacement unit from Willie and Amtek when the time comes.
F I could give them no stars, I would... I am a designer specializing in renos and built several homes so know my way around home repairs etc. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!On July 12, 2016 I had two new complete a/c systems installed in my residence. 4 months later they are not right, leaking, and wasting electricity. I paid over 12K and know I got shafted.On July 12, 2016 Amtec techs installed two new and completed a/c units in my home. The following day one unit was not working. Another tech came out and reported the seals were leaking and that they were not properly done. All of the gas had leaked out into my home. He also stated theyre were problems with the other units seala and he tried to fix those as well. On 9/29 annother tech came to check the work and discovered problems with the main units plenum but he did not have the parts to fix it so another visit was scheduled. A different tech, David, came out on 10/18 and saw the problem but again, he didnt have the parts to fix it. In between this a manager or higher up by the name of Lance came out to have me sign off on FPL credits and he checked the systems and also reported that there were some problems. David came back out on 10/22 and rebuilt the plenum, sealed the flex, and did some other repairs to the install. On 11/2 a PBC inspector came to permit the units and found major issues with the main unit and had no ladder provided by the company to even check the second unit. I called Lanve immediately and stressed my unhappiness with what the inspector called shoddy workmanship and also expressed my displeasure at missing so much work to babysit his techs that cant seem to build plenum or seal flex joints properly. The inspector also noted that it was cooler in the attic than it was in my home! My electric bills, which I was promised would be drastically reduced are actually 30% higher than last year with two less adults in the house! Lance said he would relay all this to his supervisor Jim and Jim would get back to me. He never did. After leaving several messages, I finally got him on the phone a whole week later! He was rude, condescending, and unapologetic. He offered to send yet another tech out to fix the problem but after having 5 of them here, I wanted to speak to someone in charge. He offered up Tom Smith and said he would have him call me the following week. He never did. Ashley called two more times to try and set up appts for just service techs coming out and I told her I wanted Tom to call me and that I wasnt having any more techs out without a supervisor as the plenum was built wrong and the work done was not only incorrect but inefficient. Tom finally called and assured me he would take care of the situation. He asked to set up an appointment for the following Saturday (11/12/2016) at 2:00 pm and promised to send out a service manager with the tech. The tech called and asked to come early at 11:00. I was not home and said we had to stick to the appointed time. I asked what manager was coming and he said he didnt know. He called back at 3:00 and stated he couldnt find anyone to go with him but would have Tom call me immediately. No one very called or showed, nor have they since. I have missed 6 days of work, paid out hundreds in extra electric bills, and still do not have a properly working system over 5 months later!After I wrote the above to the BBB, I got a call from Tom Smith 10 DAYS LATER after the no show. He was rude, called me names, and actually laughed at me. STAY AWAY!
I am a Real Estate Agent. I always recommend Amtek to my clients.Recently I also needed my AC fixed and Jon Woodruff the tech. went above and beyond what needed to be done and made sure I was happy. He was polite and very helpful to make sure everything was running correctly and answered all my questions before he left. Amtek should be very proud to have such a great employee.
Ryan from AMTEK came to service my AC, he explained the issues which i could understand and did not push me to buy the products. He was professional, patient and courteous. I bought their contract for service and other products. I recommend him to any one who needs AC services
I have cold air now, thank you Amtek. Tried three different times to get a competent ac company to my house. Run around and run around. With this company I made the call, they where here on the same day, the sales guy was extremely knowledgeable and I made the decision to use this company, they showed up the next day and took care of my unit and after a week of living with hot air, Im a happy mother again. 100% recommended to any of their potential future clients. I dont think you will be disappointed.
Amtek was out last week to inspect my non functioning ac. Their diagnosis; beyond repair and must be replaced. About $6500.Today I had Easy Breezy HVAC out to inspect. He discovered an electrical problem (not a mechanical problem). He repaired the problem in under 2 hours, and for under $200.Guess who Ill call next time?
They definitely misrepresented the scale of the problem and the true cost to fix the problem at hand. They broke the trust.While I will say they showed up, they basically took the opportunity to fleece my elderly father. The parts they recommended retail for less than $50 each, but they charged $1,000. On top of that, they also added a part that was NET NEW versus a replacement of something broken.The technician had ZERO customer service. They did not explain anything or leave something to review.When I called the office, I basically got the run around from the management which were only interested in money, not customer satisfaction. They obviously dont know how the dissatisfied customer process works. When I confronted him about this, he kept trying to switch the conversation and would not address the main point that they charged $1,000 for a $25 part.I stopped another HVAC guy at Home Depot and asked him, what do they charge to a capacitor change. He quoted $80.So, I would not recommend this group.It makes the industry look bad and it makes Florida look bad too!!!Very expensive lesson learned in Florida.
We placed a service call for our AC after noticing our house getting warmer. It was later in the evening but Ryan called to let us know that we were a few calls out but he we would stop by to try to get our ac working. To our surprise it was just a simple part and we were back in business. Extremely happywith Ryan and Amtek Air.
In July, one of my two central air conditioning units bit the dust. I called Amtek in the morning and Willie B came over to see if there was anything he could do to revive the unit for the bedroom areas. After trying for some time it was determined to be a dead duck. At that time we decided it was time for a new unit. Through his expertise we managed to find the ideal unit. Arranged proper financing and the following day the unit was replaced. The unit fit perfectly to all the measurements that Willie had taken the day before. This weekend the unit for the living room area went out. Today Willie came over and took new measurements for this one and under the same procedure the new unit will go in tomorrow. I couldnt be happier with the service that Willie and Amtek have given. I would surely recommend them for all air conditioning need. That includes the maintenance agreements whichare attended to in short order.
My wife and I had Amtek tune-up our air conditioning system this week. This was the second time we used Amtek and weve been impressed both times. The technician, Jonathan, was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He even offered some suggestions to reduce our energy costs. Good costomer service horrible workmanship ethics.Installation was done half ass. The system is less than 3 months old and am constantly having issues.They said the system was warranted for 5 years, yet they refuse to come out and fix the issue. I was told by a supervisor at their company and I quote, Not my problem. I dont careNeedless to say Ive called a different company and am in the process of filing a lawsuit.
I called Amtek and asked to have a technician estimate the cost to repair my inop 2 ton Trane central AC unit. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the service call was free! I should have wondered why. Now I know.The technician arrived at my door in a perfectly neat and clean uniform to analyze my problem. He had a pad and pen, but no tool bag! Strange.As soon as he looked at my condenser, ( the outdoor unit) he started to nod his head. Still no tools. I explained to him that although the unit was manufactured on 2007, it was stored indoors and crated until 2011. It was five years old. His reaction to the air handler was similar to his analysis of the condenser. He noted that it hung from a rusty chain. What?!!! He then advised me that I needed a new system at a cost of $5,000.00. I requested that he put gauges on the system to see if it needed Freon. He went to get his tools. At last!! The pressures were low, indicating the need for Freon at $68.00 per pound. Freon 22 is all over the internet at $20. per pound. Nice markup!! I told him that I had my own can of Freon 22, (I have the required EPA license to purchase Freon) and offered to pay to have him install it. He refused citing liability issues!!He finally left, still assuring me that the unit needed replacement. I ordered a new set of gauges, installed two pounds of Freon, and PRESTO, cold air!! Be careful, if you are not knowledgeable about AC they will try to sell you a new unit (at an exorbitant price) even when you do not need it. BEWARE!!
Eddie came to my home this afternoon and had the problem diagnosed within 15 minutes. He was courteous and knowledgeable and has the replacement parts coming for me on Friday.I am so thrilled. I will always use this company and recommend them highly.Plus he is an Owls fan.
Have nothing but good vibes from Amtek. The technician Tim was outstanding. Thorough, old school. Gave me great service and spent time explaining what he found. If you need A.C. service -- from an honest, no non-sense ac technician who knows his business -- then ask for him, you will NOT be disappointed. Will use Amtek in the future!!
Charlie Johnson (CJ)arrived to do a regular service on my units at the end of my 2 1/2 year contract. He explained the potential problems with both of my units and suggested a much more economical solution than all new units. Mold had been building up for a period of time and hopefully his suggestions will solve my problem. The units are about 7 years old and I believe it is too soon to be thinking about replacing them. CJ left the work area in a neat condition and was excellent to work with. I have not had very good luck with prior companies I have dealt with and after 2 1/2 years of dealing with Amtek, I decided to renew for an additional 2 1/2 years. Thanks for your help CJ.
Chris Fontana was very nice about the whole thing. I had 100 questions that he answered honestly and was extremely patient with me. He gave me the most cost effective way to improve my ac system without blowing my budget of what I was able to spend. I hope anyone who is able to go with Amtek gets Chris.
Willie from Philly was outstanding. Did all the work expected (annual tuneup) and more. Gave patient explanations, detailed how to improve my system (taping the airhandler better), did not try to milk or add on to the work needed- the $29 intro tuneup was worth four times that much, which is the normal rate from others. They got my business for life.
4/22/2020 Your company sent Danielle to give me an estimate. She insisted on coming into my home. I thought it was to see my equipment. She sat at my counter to attempt to up sell me. She either is not aware of or does not believe in Social Distancing. She wore no mask or gloves and made no attempt to stay 6 feet from me. I take meds that suppress my immune system so I dont reject my transplant. Ive disinfected everything she touched or was near. I hope I got it all. DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO MY HOME WHO WILL PUT MY HEALTH IN DANGER. At the VERY LEAST I need to be told so I can stay away from her. I hope she didnt infect me. YOU SHOULD AS WELL. In general it is for the businesses safety as well. If ANYBODY does this to my 86 & 90 yr old parents I WILL HUNT THEM DOWN.
I would put 0 stars if I could, and Ive never even tried to do that before. this is the worst possible home service company that you could ever deal with. They lie, they lie, they dont show up, they lie. And then they keep calling and pretend like nothing happened. The last girl I talked to named Brittany said she has no control over who she calls. Then she slammed the phone down. Doesnt that say something about the kind of company that shes working for ? Ive already explained to several people from this company what happened to me and not one of them has done anything about it. How much do you want to bet that instead of answering this very negative review, the company instead puts up more fake positive reviews? Thats what theyve been doing already, so why not continue. Sorry for the rotten review, but nobody deserves it more than amtek air conditioning of port Saint Lucie Florida.
Tim was excellent. He called me on Sunday morning and came as promised. He was pleasant, professional, & reliable. Tim is doing and outstanding job for this company. Customer service, honesty and extremely helpful are words that descibe Tim .He is a great asset to Amtek.
Scammers...beware. Tried using therespecial in the mail. They didnt service my 2 units properly. Specifically they intentionally did NOT clean drain lines or put algecide in drip pans. This caused the lines to clog, the drip pans filled up and caused both air handlers to seize. We were away when this happened and we came home to hot, damp house. When we contacted them, they said we need new fans, $750. Units are 4 years old???Living in the house for 17 years (on third new system), we always get them serviced every 6 months and Never had a problem.This company Intentionally did not clean drain lines or add algicide to prevent the lines from clogging which lead to failure of air handler fans ( we confirmed this with a third party).
My AC tech, Jonathan W, was very pleasant. Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of how the AC system worked. Jonathan was able to answer questions I had since my AC motor blew 3 weeks ago. I got it replace by an independent contractor that was not able to figure out why it happened just that it happened and it needed to be replaced. Jonathan explained why and how my motor blew and gave kowledge of services that would be beneficial with no pressure. .. thumbs up for me
I am very glad I went with this company for my major repairs. Things have not gone perfectly, but they are always willing to make things right. They are a little more expensive on some things, but they run specials all the time. I have no regrets, especially given some of the unique problems I’ve had. They are real problem solvers. Everyone that has been here has been incredibly polite and competent. They always seem to try their best.
I am not so much rating this company as much as their employees. I encountered a female employee driving in Port St. Lucie early in the morning the other day...very impatient, discourteous, beeping..instead of just waiting a few seconds. I hope the owner reads this and realizes, I will NEVER use your company if I need the services you provide, because I believe the employees are what make up the company...they are a reflection of your company. I also believe many people’s TRUE personality is shown behind the wheel, and I wouldn’t want her providing any services at my home!!!
I used to work for Amtek. Ill be the first to tell you. They are a rip off. If nothing is wrong with your a.c. they will make something up to get money. The company themselves rips everyone off from customers and employees. I would not recommend Amtek and would look else where for service.
So Matthew came out set us up with a new a/c unit which will be installed tomorrow morning. Unprofessional with terrible service. Spent over $10,000 two years ago on a new A/C unit. Been having problems with my A/C for a few weeks now and called to have them come back out and they wanted to charge me $1000 to fix the problems with no warranty. Absolutely ridiculous, wouldn’t suggest this company to my worst enemy.
On 8/11 at about 8am the driver of an amtec vehicle nearly ran over and killed my son in the dunkin donuts parking lot in Jupiter. He was going at least 50 mph in the parking lot, sped right through a stop sign and then when I started screaming at hime (he had nearly ran over my 5 year old son!) he started screaming back and gave me the finger. I cant believe any business would hire such a sick person, I would avoid this company like the plague if there is any chance this person would be showing up to my house.
Awful customer service and near abusive on the phone to women. Threatened that if someone else looked at the bum work he did it would negate warranty. Obnoxious, rude, and not willing to solve the issue. Was more worried about defending their work and repairs will cost $2000 - Whatever you do stay away...TRUST ME
Had a new unit installed....installation crew dropped unit onto our concreted-tile patio....tried to cover the hole with a box of their supplies and tools they left at our home....contacted management...wife was spoken to in a very condescending manor....3 weeks later and no one has come to even see the damage, let alone make a repair....my neighbor advised me to call Sub-Zero initially....should have listened....noticed on their website they have so many 5.0 star ratings.....if it sounds too good to be true, it is.....would love to be contacted by management.......waiting
THIS CO. IS AMAZING HONESTLY. I TRUST NO ONE AND I TRUST THESE PEOPLE. CHRIS IS IN CHARGE AND JUST COMPLETED A CHANGE OUT OF OUR THERMOSTAT, THE OLD ONE WAS UNDER WARRANTY, HAD A PERSON HERE IN 15 MINUTES PUT IN NEW EMERSON THERMOSTAT AND ALL IS GREAT. I USE GEICO AND AMAZON BECAUSE THEY ACT LIKE AMTEK!

2022-03-08The worst experience I ever had with any company in my life. Brandon the service tech showed up with an attitude. I guarantee if he was speaking to a man, he would not have pulled this stunt. I have never been so uncomfortable with a worker in my home in my entire life! He said he recommend severely things to be done to my AC and I had someone else do them, thats why he had an attitude. All I had done was my UV light installed that I owned for several years prior to owning this house.This was not the first time I had an issue with this company. Prior to the service tech Brandon, another tech from Amtek came to my home to service the AC unit. He lied to me and said the coils where leaking and it made the most sense to replace the AC unit. I got another opinion and nothing was leaking. I did not need to replace my 7-year-old AC unit at the time.To get nasty to a customer because they did not use your company to install a UV light that they already owned proved my point how this company operates. I lost trust in the company Amtek from day one. I kept future appointments because the warranty plan was already paid for. What an appalling experience!

2021-09-26Amtek is the best! We have been using Amtek as our AC company for about 4 years. Service is always great and weve never had any issues. We recently put them to the test once again. Our AC failed on a Saturday afternoon and we had a technician arrive to our house in less than 2 hours! We learned that the entire unit needs to be replaced (there were multiple problems with our 18 year old unit that was not feasible to fix). A new unit was ordered and installed and now were happy campers again. The job went smoothly, the price was fair, the two technicians were professional and on time. It couldnt have gone better. They even cleaned our ducts and vents to make sure we have no lingering issues. Before they left we also replaced our thermostat to a brand new modern digital unit. Its a pleasure working with Amtek and if youre looking for a reliable and professional company that you can trust, call Amtek and youll be happy. Thank you!!

2021-09-13On Thursday evening we noticed the air handler was leaking water into our hallway. We called Amtek and they were here first thing in the morning to assess and turned out we had a major problem. Our whole system needed to be replaced. The very next morning (Saturday) Brandon and AJ started early and spent the entire day working hard to make sure everything was running perfect. Thanks to both of them everything was perfect! We could not have been happier with them. They even offered to bring the portable unit to make it a little more comfortable Friday night, which we declined. These guys are AMAZING! We’ve been with Amtek for a couple years now and we’ve never had an issue. But Brandon and AJ…what a perfect team! They were just EXCELLENT!

2021-07-27Our Air Conditioner was not cooling properly. I called Amtek Air Conditioning. The technician arrived at our home. Danielle, our technician, started diagnosing the problem and discovered that we needed a new thermostat. It was replaced. In addition, we also needed a fan motor which was not discovered until the thermostat had been installed. Danielle was very professional and knowledgeable. She called for the fan motor to be installed and it was installed later that day by John, another technician. She kept me informed in every phase of the repair process. Great job! Thanks, Amtek! 2019-09-14This company is the best Air Conditioning company to use in the treasure coast area. Bottom line they beat out 4 other companies for the air conditioning and duct change out. The owner got the job done with his very experienced crew in a very timely matter. If you need work done I would look no further next time and will use this company again I. Future needs with electrical and plumbing.I only say this because my experience working In the field of HVAC, and see that everything was done correctly.Hats off to you guys hope to use you again for other services!

2022-05-09Ive used Amtek Air Conditioning for the last five years. We have a service contract in place for them to check our A/C and heating unit every six months to ensure optimum performance and proactively make changes and/or repairs while they are minor and before they turn into a major problem. The company is reliable, reasonably priced, and performs a detailed service visit each time. I would highly recommend them.

2021-12-26This business wanted to charge me $5790.00 to install a Tankless Water Heater after I purchased everything that was needed. I purchased everything from Home Depot, and their estimate did not have a breakdown of what they were going to do. I called another company and they installed it for $350.00. In Florida, price gouging is a crime, and I would never use this company for anything.

2021-09-29We had a few AC/HVAC issues and we called Amtek. They were quick, professional, polite and made the process of getting our HVAC work so smooth. We were so satisfied that we had them come back and install a whole home generator/Generac. I would highly recommend them!
