Extremely poor environmental conditions .. i.e. water drainage due to lack of proper grading ,poor maintenance staff and neglect. Infestation and possible contamination dwellings due to insects.. standing stagnant water , garbage disposals inadequate for census here .French and other drains not attended to .. Code violations re: inside fire alarms and structure as well. Architect engineer found radon, water and smoke damage upon random inspection of 8 different units. Rude abrupt property mgmt. and some staff .. Highly questionable veracity of staff. These units have rather extensive wood rot ... All units monetary value depreciating due to just SOME of the aforementioned statements

Amanda in the office was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was yelling at me over the phone, making untrue accusations and wouldn’t even let me talk. She stated I did not register in the office, when I did. I can’t believe they allow someone like this to work here.
A nice little complex, but not worth the price. 3 stars since its safe, quiet, and in a good area. You can get better location for a much cheaper price.
Awesome beautiful community. Love the pool and have made many friends here. Superb club house amenities.

Toured this complex for apartments, was shocked at the condition of the interior and exterior. Obvious water damage throughout and outdated fixtures.
It’s always easy to get information from them now that the HOA has been taken over by a better mgmt co.
Since Amanda, Mike and Cindy left the office the place looks terrible and no one is ever in office to help us. Pool turned green,

2018-05-18Best place to lease an condo. I have looked everywhere in Tallahassee and this is the best place in town. The staff is extremely pleasant and care about what you have to say .They listen to you completely and try to get the issue fixed right away. Laura is so polite when I have to call and if she cant answer she gets someone that can or gives me a call back .Mike let me know everything up front when I signed my lease. Cindy is awesome too, along with Amanda. They have made the clubhouse look amazing. I love all of the new furniture. The grounds are well kept and the maintenance guys are awesome. If I need something done they get it done in the same day. It is just an AMAZING place to stay.

2015-02-13Nice complex but some residents do not adhere to the restrictions. I find it to be very conveniently located and is kept clean and well maintained. Too bad pet owners fail to pick up after their pets and some residents leave junk outside the doors in the hallways for extended periods of time. Otherwise, its a great place to live. I own a 3rd floor unit with loft and balcony along with a ground floor storage unit. I wish I would have purchased a garage as well, but none were available at the time that I bought my condo.

2018-04-04I can not recommend this rental. I have lived here for 2 years with intermittent problems. However, the other week I woke up to 3 black males in my apartment! They said they were painters and were supposed to be there... So, I checked with the front office staff, Laura, who was so rude to me on the phone, I could not believe it! I explained that these painters let themselves into my apartment, and she told me that I was given notice and it was not their problem! I couldnt believe it! Not their problem? I woke up to random strangers in my house without any notice at all! I asked to speak with the manager and was turned down because she was busy. I left my name and number with the unit number and the manager has still not returned any phone calls despite repeated attempts. I cant believe management. I was scared out of my mind, and they did not care. I am not renewing my lease.

2020-07-09Cindy, Jason, and Lee have been simply great for several years now. The neighbors are friendly and courteous, the grounds crews are very good, and there is an overall sense of safety and care.

2018-09-24We have friends that live there, a very very nice well-kept place. It works very well for seniors. It is just out of our price range. For a two-bedroom to Bath and no garage cost over $1,400 a month. Thats a lot of money for us.

2020-02-24Came into the office to see if there was any available units, a young dark skinned man was sitting in the office I believe he told me he was head of maintance (cant remember his name) had approached me with a very nasty attitude he was very rude and VERY unprofessional, I dont know if you guys have a office manager or not but Im sure he was not it , he could have been having a bad day (who knows) but I was not and should not have been a target to his frustrations , I heard you guys was a great property for me n my husband to reside at! after meeting that man I wouldnt wish to live here and have to deal with such a nast individual. However the other young man did make sure I was okay after the matter and expressed his apologizes on his supervisors behalf, he was very professional unlike the other man!

2018-05-15I have resided at Barrington Park for a little less than 6 months.I must say that I have had a wonderful experience!! Cindy and the staff have been very curtious and extremely helpful. The staff has gone above in beyond in my transition and have been very professional. I feel safe and it’s so clean!! I’m glad to call Barrington Home!

2018-06-22This concerning Barrington Parks Apts in Tallahassee, FloridaRecently I had my scooter towed from Barrington Parks.Apartments. I had asked someone in the office if it was okay to park the scooter in the breezeway so that it would not take up a parking space..They said it was okay...I even asked the tenets around the breezeway if they minded and they said not at all...It was not in any ones way...The management just had the scooter towed costing $255.00 plus $25.00 daily storage. I paid $600.00 for the scooter brand new so the cost of towing and storage have already surpassed the cost of the scooter...The office said there was no tag on the scooter but there was and I have proof of that...They only provided one notice placed on the scooter which the office said was on there for 3 days...I am now out of a scooter and the towing costs exceed the price of the scooter...I was away taking care of my sick mother when this happened....!! This wrong ....and mean !! Please be aware of how unaccommodating an and cold the administration in the complex can be. I asked the office manager if she tried to find out who owned the scooter..Because the tenets right next door to the breezeway could have immediately told her that I lived in the unit above theres...She just stated in a cold way..What do expect me to do...knock on everyones door and ask..As if that was too much to ask out of courtesy to the tenets she was managing...I said that now the cost of towing and storage exceeded the cost of the scooter....They will auction it off. Nothing I can do.

2021-04-21I have lived at Barrington Park for over 6 years. It is an amazing community, located in the North East side of Tallahassee. The staff is amazing to work with.

2021-04-23Of all the condos in Tallahassee, I am extremely pleased I selected Barrrington Park. The HOA is excellent. For me and my friends, the amenties of the condo are the swimming pool, home theater, meeting room, kids play room, billiards room, business center, clubhouse with kitchen and TV area, basketball court. mail room for packages, a lighted tennis court, and soon a community garden.
