If you’re looking for a real estate school to get your license, I would highly recommend this school. I did my sales agent classes with them in the classroom and my daughter did the online course. Both were excellent. I just did my post licensing class with them too, in the classroom. The instructor, Michael Schnippering, was excellent. He really prepares you for the test and has a real passion for what he does. He injects some great humor into his classes too, makes the learning fun. He makes sure everyone understands the subject matter and is very thorough with his teaching and instruction. He has the patience of a saint, and just really makes sure everyone in the class understands everything. Plus, he has some great real estate stories that bring to life the topic he’s teaching. Really helps you understand the business. This school was highly recommended to me when I was looking to go to real estate class, and I can honestly do the same for anyone looking to get into the business. Bob Hogue school of real estate has been a very positive experience all around. Five stars, especially for Michael, our teacher.
I recently completed the live online 63 hour sales associate course with Diane Shapiro and Michael Schnippering, and they were fantastic! I learned a lot over the course of the class, and they were both very engaged, patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend the live online class if you are looking to get your license, as well as the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Drill and Practice QBank that has a ton of practice exams to take.
Bob Hogue came highly recommended when I was looking for a real estate sales associate class to attend. The school did not disappoint! Mr Michael Schnippering was an awesome instructor. His professionalism and knowledge of real estate combined with his real life experiences made the class material easy to understand and learn. The math was made easy with his methods for even those who do not like math. With his teaching and my studying I was extremely prepared for the class final exam which I passed the first time and passed the state exam the next day. I could not have joined the 50% who pass the state exam the first time without Mr. Micheals skills as a teacher. Thank you Mr. Michael Schnippering and thank you Bob Hogue for employing such a fine teacher and thank you for the opportunity to be a student in your February 2020 class.
I had a great experience with the real estate class. I work full time so the weekend class they offered worked out best for me. They were also very accommodating for making up time of need be.Joe Troy was my instructor. As you can imagine some of the material can be very mundane. Joe knew the material so well he was able to deliver it in an interesting way rather than just simply reading out of a book. His course was fun, even when the material wasn’t. He was very personable. Felt like a guy you could go out and have a drink with and talk sports or catch a game with. I think that is very important because it helps make the student feel more at ease.Overall, my experience with this course was very positive due to the structure of the program and the instructor I had. I would highly recommend taking the in class course over the online course. And if possible, ask which classes Joe is teaching.
I took the 63 hour classroom course. Joe Troy was the Trainer. I say trainer because a teacher fills in the knowledge gap & a trainer acquires certain competencies. This is a cram course where the trainer just unloads a ton of information in a short period of time and leaves no room for understanding. I suppose if youre someone that did very well academically in high school or college you might do well. The majority of the class had taken the 63 hour course prior, failed and came back with a partner or spouse. As time drew near for the class exam I contacted the school because they offered tutors. I was told that tutors are only available for those taking the state exam and not the classroom exam. $50 dollars per hour. This makes no sense to me since you have to pass the classroom exam in order to take the state exam. I end up withdrawing from the course and knowing what i know now i would never have enrolled. Nobody ever followed up after i withdrew. I dont feel the school nor trainer is concerned on whether applicants make it or not. I bet if the trainer was given a bonus compensation for students that pass just maybe trainers would truly care and see to it that students have full understanding and do better at filling in that knowledge gap.
An easy five-star review from me! I went into this course thinking it was feasibly impossible to master the in-depth material. With the impressive knowledge of my instructor Julio Guzman, I was able to pass the end-of-course my first try! It certainly takes a lot of studying outside of class, but Julio truly helped us stay focused and retain the knowledge to our best degree - lots of laughs and light-hearted moments to break up the law and math material as well. I feel more confident than ever going into taking the state exam and I have Bob Hogue and Julio to thank!
I took the 7 day Sales Associate course. Julio Guzman was my teacher, and he was great. All of his visuals and explanations of important materials stuck with me and helped me to remember important points. I passed the school exam as well as the state exam on my first try. I definitely suggest learning this with Julio Guzman. Bob Hogue is a great school! The book they give you is very detailed and elaborated.
What can I say!? A fantastic school! I just passed my state exam and couldn’t be happier! Michael Schnippering was my teacher and I give him an A+++! He mixed book text with explanations and personal experience to truly induce my understanding. Even on the state exam his explanations were pertinent, unveiling the answers I needed. I am thrilled. This time two weeks ago I was unaware of anything pertaining to real estate. Class in a week. Test 4 days after class. Passed first time. Thank you Bob Hogue School! And thank you Michael!
I attended Bob Hogue School of Real Estate in Riverview, FL. Ms. Anne Haggerty, the instructor, was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that you can comprehend. When I went to take my exam, I didnt have my class completion certificate. I was able to call the office and they faxed over the document right away, saving me from rescheduling the exam. Im glad to say I passed on the first try. Thank you, Bob Hogue School of Real Estate!
I have taken several courses at Bob Hogue, Mortgage Loan Originator and the Real Estate course. The staff were more than accommodating and very helpful. Sarah was the absolute best and very empathetic to my needs. My two favorite instructors were Jan and Sallie Wagner! The best ever. I will forever be a customer of Bob Hogue.
I have taken several courses with Bob Hogue Real Estate School and have never experienced bad customer service until now. The sad thing is I would have continued to be a lifetime customer (due to continuing education requirements of a real estate broker) but instead an indifferent customer service representative with the company not extend my broker prelicensing course until the end of 2020 (literally for one more month). Zach was the customer service representative I spoke with who was not willing to extend the class through the end of 2020. The odd thing is the same company extend that courtesy a few years ago with the real estate prelicensing course. Sorry Bob Hogue, I will use another company for all the continued education courses needed throughout the 20+ years I will hold my brokers license. I do understand that this inconsiderate act could be the result of one bad employee and not the company, so please reach out if someone from the company is willing to remedy this wrong.
I have taken classes for my 63 hour real estate course and my LCAM and I have never had a better instructor than Michael Schnippering who did my 45 hour real estate course this week.He is a true teacher of students. He does not just read you a book. He actually teaches you how to apply the material, by giving you his real life practical experiences that will be applied to the types of problems on the exam. When we did the final review, I could easily remember the examples he shared throughout the two weekends. When it was time for the test, I was confident in my knowledge and that I would be able to answer the questions. I passed the test easily. i highly recommend this class and even more so highly recommend taking it with Michael Schnippering. Thank you Michael for keeping the last 45 hours of class interesting and fun.
My instructor Julio Guzman was outstanding. I suggest anyone trying to take this course wait and take it with him. I took the 7 day course and he was so personable and made everyone stay on track. It is so much to learn and if you have someone like him teaching you and do the work he gives you, you are guaranteed to pass. I passed my end of class exam as well as my state exam and writing this review from my new office. Thank you Julio for making this transition into a new career a memorable one.
I took the intense 7 day course to earn my real estate license here. The instructors were very knowledge and made sure you understood the material. Yes, it was an intense class, blazing straight through a lot of information, but I felt confident and prepared when I went to take the licensing exam. I passed the first time, and statistics are that more than half fail. If you aspire to earn a real estate license, there is no other place to go.
I was thinking about taking the online course but because I work online all day, decided to take the evening class in Palm Harbor. It was a challenging class 2 days a week from 6 - 10 after a full days work. But, I just finished and passed the classroom test and hoping to do the same on the state this week! I cant say enough good things about this class, but the highlight was the excellence of the instructor, Joe Troy. Joe was incredibly knowledgeable, insightful, and very patient. His approach to teaching made it not only much easier to pass the test, but a lot more interesting in the class itself. The entire process at Bob Hogue school is easy and the office folks were very nice each time I had to call or go in. But by far, the best instruction is with Joe Troy - if you are thinking about taking a Bob Hogue Real Estate class, just make sure you end up in a class taught by Joe as this is not easy material and he provides your best chance at success in passing the test - and a great classroom environment. Thank you Joe!!! Thank you Bob Hogue SoRE!
Took my sales associate pre-licensing course here, I did both the online course and the classroom as I wanted the most instruction I could get. I enjoyed both courses, the online was easy because it is not timed so you can take as long as you need. I preferred the classroom course though because the instructor explained things perfectly and I was able to pass my exam with him. I highly recommend this school, especially because the customer service you get is fantastic. Anytime you call with any question theyre able to help. Some other schools are cheaper but you get what you pay for, and if you pay less, youre getting less of an experience. Wont go anywhere else!
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Bob Hogue School. I took my sales pre licensing course with Jan Huebner. While it does take a lot of independent study time outside of class, I felt Jan gave me a great foundation to succeed. Passed the class and state exam on the first attempt! Highly recommended to take her class.
Highly recommend Bob Hogue School of Real Estate and Joe Troy, instructor! I had zero knowledge of just how in depth education requirements are to pass the state exam. I took the 7 day classroom course at the main location. Our instructor for our group of about 20, was Joe Troy, and he was fabulous. No sugar coating the process, an intense, factual, engaging, professional pre licencing, 63 hr required instruction class. Joe is highly organized, profesional, yet the material, which can be dry, is not presented in a dull manner. Humorous antidotes, real life situations, lots of tips. I did surprising well passing the 63hr classroom exam and prepared for the state exam in Joes weekend cram course the following weekend. The extra book/course is worth every penny and every minute of your weekend time, get your highlighter out--Joe will tell you what you need to know. Truth is, its on YOU to study and memorize for the 100 question state exam, but with many hundreds if pages of material, his class will streamline the process! I studied hard and proudly joined the 50% that pass the first time! Thanks Joe and Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. See you soon for 45hr post renewal!
A+ online school and their customer service is simply flawless. I had problems with DBPR where they kept telling me all I needed to renew my license was a 14 hour course. When I signed up for the course online an email was sent to me and a phone call was received from Bob Hogue School of Real Estate warning me that what I needed was a 28 hour reactivation course. After many phone calls to DBPRs call center I finally got the issue escalated to which they came back and said I did in fact need the 28 hour course. After taking the incorrect course due to the DBPR; Bob Hogue School was generous enough to help me get things straightened out and signed up for the correct 28 hour reactivation course.Their customer service is simply amazing. Every employee I have spoken to is warm, professional and extremely caring and helpful!
The school was great to communicate with and extremely eager to offer classes and aid. They followed up after every signup, and every member of the administrative team is cheerful. The educator, Joe Troy, has true experience in both the field and with providing students with the knowledge to succeed. He uses a plethora of teaching styles to make sure the whole class understands core concepts. The program for sales associate licensing was precisely what was needed to succeed the school exam and prepare for future stages.
I am a little late in writing my review for Bob Hogue, but I am coming up on my 45hr post licensing course and chose Bob Hogue again for obvious reasons. 1) Michael Schnippering was an excellent instructor for my sales associate course. He was very thorough and funny. I actually made it a point to have him as my instructor for my 45hr post licensing course. 2) Bob Hogues course schedule has classes for anyones schedule, I prefer the evening classes. 3) I was confident that I would pass my course and state exam at the end of my class and I did on the first try. Thank you Bob Hogue and Michael Schnippering, cant want to be back in class on October 16th!
I recommend Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. I needed to take the Broker Pre-License class and I did NOT want to take in as an online class! I found this school to be one of the few to offer a classroom, full 72 hour course. I drove to Lakeland, FL from PC Beach, FL to take the 8 day class. The instructor was Ed Beffa and he was wonderful! He made, what is typically very dry material, exciting. He interjected his own experiences and humor into the class.I moved to Florida from Georgia earlier this year, and was so happy that I took the full Broker class as there are many differences between Florida and Georgia Real Estate. I enjoyed it so much, that I am tempted to go down there again to take the 60 hr Broker Post license courses next year. :)
I would not recommend the online program. I dedicated a little over a week to reading and studying the material and made it through the practice test with a high score and confidence. Once I got to the final exam, it seemed to me that there were a lot of synonyms to words that I studied, but wasnt unaware that the word used in the final exam was the same as a word I studied through the course work. In other words the course work didnt prepare me very well for the final exam. Still determined, I will pay another $300.00 to take the course in the school , as opposed to online because I simply dont have the time to wait 30 days to take the final exam. I really wish Bob Hogue school backed their material. If you feel online students need to purchase extra materials to pass the exam, perhaps you should update your online curriculum.
I took my pre license sales associate course with Phil Nash in Ellenton! It was a massive amount of information that I didn’t understand at all, but I passed the EOC exam. Phil is so nice, has an amazing accent and likes to joke around. It’s been a 6 week journey for me and I was so lost in the beginning, but I’ve come a long way. I really doubted myself at the start, but Phil cheered me on. The course was M-TH, M-W and I thought for sure I was going to fail! Phil gave us a 4 hour review before the exam and also let us know what to look for on the state exam. The state exam took me a few times, but I passed it this week! I have to thank Broker Phil for motivating me! He’s AWESOME!! :) My best advice: study the yellow book! You will pass the state exam if you know that book...just like Phil said!
I took the online course because Ive never done well in classroom situations. I finished the course in two weeks, but was not prepared for the exam, so I bought the text book and read cover to cover. Im sure all the information was available online, but it was not narrated or instructed like other distance learning courses Ive taken, (no audio). Really disappointing that you just read the screen, then another screen and then answer a couple of easy questions.Good news is that I studied the text book, took 4 practice tests, (some available online for free), watched the Climer Real Estate videos on utube, passed the course test with a score of 89% and passed the State test, (really didnt seem that hard). So, if you are OK with just reading screens to get your 60 hours, this will work for you.
After an 11 year hiatus from real estate I decided to once again take the state exam. I chose Bob Hogue School of Real Estate and Anne Haggerty In Riverview because of their solid reputation in the community. While I have been licensed in the past, many changes have taken place. Anne was professional, courteous and comprehensive in educating our class. Many of my fellow classmates have stayed in contact and to a person we all agree, “Anne was an extraordinary facilitator/teacher.” I recommend Anne Haggerty and the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate to all persons wishing to become a real estate professional.
The 7 day/week course is overwhelming. I cried some days if Im being honest. Joe was my instructor.But....I passed my state exam on the first try! Thanks everyone! Also the office is so attentive and sweet. I forgot to bring my class completion form to Pearson vue, the school faxed it directly to them instantly!
Just completed Sales Associate classes at St. Pete location with instructor Jan Huebner. WONDERFUL! She is awesome, made material so easy to understand and fun! I knew nothing about real estate and now I feel like an expert ;) in theory anyways ;). Passed my school exam with 93, ready to go and take the State exam. A lot of information given to you but it is explained so well and it is up to YOU to read the material and make sure you understand. THANK YOU to Mrs. JAN! Oksana
I passed my state exam with flying colors! I owe it to the online course. The online course is designed to help the student learn and get to the core in order to pass the test. The online test was harder than the state, but I believe it is needed in order to reinforce information that will make taking the state exam easier. Study, study...People who dont pass are those who didnt study enough...Flash cards helped too:)
Devastated to learn the course expires and noone informed me.. As I had called in to extend it twice due to a crazy work schedule and traveling for business..I was unable to get on line full time.. Hence the reason I chose the online corse, to complete at my convenience.. Spoke to them over the phone a few times.. Did not inform me.. No email.. No mail correspondence and now that I finished the ENTIRE course .. Was on the final exam.. I have to start from the begining! They had no problem taking my money over the phone to do the extension but failed to mention it was for a limited time.. Now they want my money to start over
Real Estate Sales Associate Post Licensing Online Course: Terrible functionality, mistakes and lots of information that has nothing to do with real estate licensing and continuing education. Not only is the information dated but it is very subjective. Frustratingly it cant be used on a mobile device. Also, the course expires and they dont let you know it is expiring because they want to charge you $30 per month for an extension. This may have been a good program 10 to 15 years ago but no longer.
Ive taken several courses with Bob Hogue School of Real Estate over the past 10 years from community management courses, to sales associate classes and through Broker post license. Everyone with this organization are absolute Rock Stars and they always go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service.
I cannot recommend any school other than Bob Hogue. They ANSWER THEIR PHONES when you call the office. Better yet, there is a real live person - with a pulse rate - WHO SPEAKS ENGLISH - on the other end to talk with you. The staff is always helpful. Their materials are first class and the website is user friendly.
I just took the RE pre license course for sale associate. Instructor was Debbie Diesing. Its a hard class. Seven days in a row w/ exam at the end. Doubted I could do it. Instructor Debbie got us through it. She keeps the class focused from all the wanderers and what ifs. Knows exact time to put in some humors that makes ya get through it. Excellent class and instrurctor.
The materials have not been edited well at all. I took screenshots of the material and the quizzes at the end of each section. The questions and answers do not match up with the learning materials. I have been licensed before but honestly, this was a complete waste of money. Way behind on times unfortunately.
Took the class with Jan Huber and I will tell you that she was fantastic and very professional and even at the end of the night she was there helping other students I passed the class test with a 93 and I didnt go back over it and I took the state test about a week later and the state test was pretty tough trick is to go over it twice and look at all the questions all the answer choices very carefully first time I wasnt real sure the second time that I went over it I felt much better about it and passed on the first try good luck and thanks Jan!
I applied to this school thinking that I will get all the helpful information I could. I study for the test with the questions they provide however all the questions I study was not on the text now I’m out of the money I spend as well failing the course and no one seem to care.
School is good please buy the three set audio cds it will help you with your state exam Please save up at least 5 thousand dollars to get started after school and a nest egg of 50 grand if single after school is extremely expensive but if its your dream GO FOR IT JAN IS A GREAT INSTRUCTOR

2022-04-21I am a Broker Of Record in NY and NJ for over 20 years. Managing two offices with 40 agents. As well I am a real estate instructor in NJ and have my own real estate school, teaching brokers and agents. New Jersey is one of toughest states in a country with Real Estate Rules and Regulations.I took twice the broker’s test through this school.I got 67% and 69% on those tests.I will be very honest with you, that I DID study very well using their Book, in addition I took the course twice with them.My personal assumption is that perhaps the course they provide is not sufficient enough to match their brokers exam.

2022-08-02Every year they send me a book that cost more than the class for my ceus. Many years ago I did a self study broker class through here and I passed it on the first time. When I took the class they were available to answer questions. Very happy

2021-04-21I would strongly recommend Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. My Realtor recommended this school to me after I had inquired about becoming a licensed professional in this industry. All of the instructors were amazing, however Robert Gordon has a special gift for teaching. He explained everything so throughly and had such great patience. I took live online courses for the sales associate program and had no issues at all. I passed my class exam on December 2020 and passed the State Exam on April of 2021(on the first try). I studied, attended all classes and also purchased study material from their website. The price for the class and books were very reasonable. Thank you!!!

2022-07-25I attended Bob Hogue School of Real Estate in Lakeland. The class was very good, the material they give you to study, including the book, will have you ready for the state exam. I passed mine today shortly after taking the class and going over the book they give you. The class instructor, Ed, is a very good teacher and went over the information so everyone in the class could understand it. I highly recommend Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. Edit, I passed the Brokers exam using Bob Hogues Broker online course plus the 400 question QBank.

2022-03-11Jacob T was so helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you! Also, Manuela Hendrickson and Michael S. have been my professors and crash course professors and I went on to close over 5 million in real estate sales right out the gate. I attribute much of this success to Bob Hogue School of Real Estate Professors and Associates! Thank you!

2020-11-16I began taking the 63 hour self-paced course online in July. Bob Hogue School of Real Estate came highly recommended from a friend of mine. And I went ahead and follow through. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to the school and all of the staff as during this difficult time for most of us I found this course to be very life-saving for me in a lot of ways. I also attended the Friday online live streaming study classes which I very much look forward to every Friday night. Robert, Don, Sherry, Diane, and Harry did an awesome job as instructors. All of them in my eyes or Heroes during this pandemic. I recently passed the Florida Real Estate Sale associate exam on the first try. I know this would not have been possible without not only the instructors at Bob Hogue Real Estate School the awesome customer service from both Sarah and Pow. I look forward to taking future continuing education courses through Bob Hogue. Thank you so much.

2021-09-01I want to highly commend Bob Hogue Real Estate School for the Real Estate Licensing preparation. I completed my real estate licensing course and passed my state exam in the 1st attempt for both. I felt incredibly well prepared and am now a licensed real estate agent only within a few months. It was a very smooth process and I truly feel that I will use Bob Hogue for any real estate training and continuing education that I need. Thank you!!

2019-09-29I went to the Main location in St. Petersburg. I took the day course with Joe. I went in with no solid understanding of real estate. Joe made the material interesting. I passed the class course on the 1st try. I did take the weekend review with Jan, 6 months later and passed the state exam. Both instructors have a different style. Im grateful for them both.

2022-03-10Always super helpful and prepared me adequately for real estate exam. Always super helpful whenever I need to renew my license. They have been around for decades and my go-to school for all things real estate.
