Beautiful view and great for drone gator watching
It a good place. Theres a little playground for kids, theres a basketball court and a huge field.
If your on your way to Orlando and picked Old Okeechobee Rd., Probably it would take you the same time, more relaxed than the Turnpike, love to stop at Canal Point and stretch my legs, its a different scenery and helps to get a good idea of the inner roads if Florida. Kids were impressed with the size of the great lake.

2021-04-14Was camping nearby and decided to come here to see how this park looked. Nothing too extravagant basically just pull up and look at lake Okeechobee. There is a thin narrow road that goes along the park that is extremely hard to turn around on because of the slope on both sides so make sure youre careful if you dont park at the beginning and you end up going down that road. Other than that nice little beautiful place to see the lake and the locks in the dam.

2020-11-06Nice quaint little park. Very well kept. I met a grounds keeper and he was very nice and welcoming. There is a story board out by the road with info on the area. I saw picnic tables, 1 individual grill and 1 double grill the you could probably grill for 15 to 20 people on. This would be a nice relatively quiet spot to have a peaceful lunch even if you its a bagged one.

2017-06-08Small venue for family activities. The place is well maintained but the parking space and access is limited. Scenery is also limited with the exception of Lake Okeechobee view right across the road.
