Open signs all over Model home sales office but doors were locked, peeked in the door window and salesperson sitting behind desk just looking at me. She didnt wave or come to the door. Guess I wont be buying from them.
After finally finishing the house, they came through in their promises and I’m just happy to be in my house. A little mind blown to see the exact same model for a lot cheaper in a different community. I love the layout and the house and am very happy so far

Ive already recommended a few people to Maronda. Ive closed on my home on 05/27/2017, so far I am so happy with my home. And everyone who comes to our house falls in love with it.
So excited to get into our Maronda Sienna model. So far the process working with Maronda Homes has been superb!
Website is nice, could show more options and information. Such as pools, screened lanais, types of trees or shrubs included with home if any.

2021-11-02I would never, ever build with Maronda homes if they were the last builder on earth. The picture below is our garage. We moved in almost a month ago, and despite our continuous calls and e-mails, nothing has been done to remedy the problem. Matter of fact, we were told by TWO project managers that this is not a water issue, but rather it is glue or an old water leak. Upon having our own inspector look at this, we found that the wall was 99% saturated, yet all our project manager could do was put a hand on it and say “no-it’s dry”. We have had plumbing and electrical issues, as well; most of which we have fixed on our own. Not to mention the building process took six months longer than anticipated. We were lied to on several occasions, had FOUR project managers and two sales representatives. Their lack of communication and professionalism is very apparent. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.Edit 11/1: nothing has changed. My husband has been calling and emailing to rectify these problems, including our garage which is STILL leaking. We have not heard a response from anyone from this company, so we will be forced to take legal action. This is NOT how the home building process should be.

2019-07-03I do not write negative reviews but my experience with Maronda homes was terrible. I am not sure where to start.Home was three months pass completion date (moved in unfinished).Quality of construction was poor.Had a shower pan not installed correctly that took over four months to fix and replace since their superintent did not catch it and me the customer caught their error.Buying experience with staff was the biggest problem. Promises that were never held. Best of all what the employee did next was mind blowing.Employee tried to initiate a fight with me, threw off head phones when sitting behind his desk, threw chair at wall and proceeded to come at my family and I, office staff had to lock him in the den of the home and made us leave. After this incident we went to the president and VP, both said nothing we can do and were very rude. This shows the issue is higher than the employee who tried to come after my family and I.I will never recommend them and I do hope people see this and never have this issue. I have yet to meet a Buyer from Maranda that was happy with the customer service.

2019-01-21Cant say enough good things about our experience with Maronda Homes. We worked with Janice Metcalf for our representative and she was Great! She was quick to answer any questions or concerns we had and if she didnt know the answer she would get it fast. The build quality of their homes seem comparable to some of the higher end builders weve visited as far structural quality . They also use a better HVAC then most which is a plus here in Florida. Only complaint that I would have (being that Im in a wheelchair) is that they arent willing to modify for that. So doorways are a little tight and Ill have to get the front entry into the house ramped as there is a small step going in, but other then that its a great builder!*Edit HereSo since our initial contract signing the house is under way and almost finished, but not without several headaches. Do to lack of knowledge the original selling agent had (I say original because she since parted ways with Maronda) we got disappointing news throughout the build from different changes made without our knowledge. We are closing in on our closing, so I will do another update when that comes and see how the final product turns out.I lowered my original star rating based on whats been going on since the building started. May increase it if they can produce a quality finished product.For a first time home buyer/builder this has been a headache and disappointing at times. Lets hope for a great finish!

2021-05-13Diane Morgan (sales) will tell you what she thinks you want to hear but we couldnt get it..and her response was I dont know why I would say that . Communication during construction was poor. The house turned out great despite poor communication!

2021-01-18All that needs to be said is that if you talk to someone, Kent Von Lekemann is your guy! He didnt try to up-sell me or push anything on me. I told him what I wanted and needed and asked what he had, He showed me lots and homes and we initially did the deal. Very rare to find a salesperson who doesn’t push a sale on you! Thank you Kent! Will be in touch! Also Amazing Manager he has! So far the whole process has been a breeze!

2020-07-25My family and I drove by while looking at homes in Cape Coral, I do not remember the guys name so I shall call him Kevin as he acted like the male version of a Karen. We did not know you had to have an appointment because we were driving by and stopped, Kevin came outside (outside) to talk to us. I was not wearing a because its not required by law to wear one OUTSIDE hint outside. Kevin accused me of having COVID 19 and that he doesnt appreciate me potentially getting him infected all while putting his finger in my face..oh and this was in front of my 11 yr old daughter. Kevin lacks moral values and should consider being more professional as a salesman.

2019-07-08I am only leaving a one star because I can’t leave less. I do not know where to begin on this place. From the beginning they lie to you to reel you in they tell you things that they know won’t happen at the end just to get you to commit. Once you commit an “oh yeah that’s included but it’s going to be a lot to add it in” then you sign a contract. When you sign the contract do not get your hopes up because in a week they will call you back and tell you “sorry you have to pay more than what the contract states because the higher up people decided today they want to charge 5 times what the contract says AND you can’t have the lot or house you put a deposit on just because we want to save that one for a big home and not yours” when you ask why none of this was disclosed at the beginning or told when signing no one has an answer for you. Very unprofessional! Very rude! And a giant waste of time! Lies lies lies and more lies! Nothing about this company is honest! It did not happen to just me it happened to someone I signed with on the same day. Luckily there are better company’s out there that do a way better job and care about their clients.
