This review is for an Agent from the Pensacola Office but same brokerage..Extremely unprofessional and rude, Tim (Thien) Vo (CENTURY 21 AmeriSouth Realty) CANNOT close a deal and put my family and I through a lot of unnecessary headaches! I am very appalled with this listing agent and his lack of professionalism and poor attitude. Tim is unresponsive and condescending and I may go as far to say that he is combative and hostile (if you think I’m exaggerating, I can even post the correspondence between Mr. Vo and my Real Estate agent). It baffles me how someone like Tim can work in essentially customer service but it does not surprise me that he only has 4 reviews on Zillow because Tim is rude and is inept. Mine will be the 5th.I am active duty military, veteran and all I wanted was to find a nice home for me and my family using the VA loan. We made an offer to him and his sellers on a house in Pensacola on 1 August. It was accepted and I paid for a thorough & costly inspection just 3 days later. There was wood rot and chimney cap is missing, the old leaking roof wouldn’t be insured. We asked the seller if they would repair it. Several days go by, no response from Mr. Vo. It took several days for Tim to get back to me and say the sellers would like to make the proper repairs necessary to pass a VA inspection and appraisal…several days go by, crickets from Tim Vo. We send the repair request officially on the 12th of August. Six days after the repair request was sent, Tim gets his seller to sign the repair request but they said they would need to see several quotes for roof repair (that’s fair). It took them over two weeks for them to get back to meWe’re supposed to close on 10 September! But 10 days before closing, no progress has been done and they don’t have a roof contractor or a repair date! He had the audacity to tell me to close in escrow and get the repair/replacement done afterwards. It is PAINFULLY obvious that Tim has no real estate or sales experience and may be emotionally unintelligent. He accepted a VA loan offer and knows what needs to be done and what needs to pass but he completely disregards my needs and the sellers needs. My Realtor has been asking him about the house because I asked her to. I need to do the termite inspection, treatments and find and order and schedule the appraisal. I am WAY behind the schedule. Tim was largely unresponsive but he finally replies, he BELITTLED and BERATED my Realtor and told her to “And as far as you, the buyers agent, you should know how to handle your clients, and I, the sellers agent, should do the same.” You would think this was enough for Tim to drive me away as I am going insane and I’m being told by an incompetent real estate agent that my family and I need to be “handled.” But I consider myself reasonable and patient and I stay the course. Lastly, my real estate agent said “After talking to the roofer it seems they will not be able to get a roof on the property until the end of September at best due to all the rain.” First of all, it’s not her job to talk to the roofer but it has to be done right? Someone has to. He responds and I quote “ACT OF GOD!” ---I asked my Realtor to respond and let him know that “The buyer feels the seller and Tim have dragged their feet and this could have been done by now had they acted quicker.” He responds “IT IS NOT THING BUT AN OPINION. DO NOT MAKE ASSUMPTION!!! AS BUYERS AGENT, YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO HANDLE YOUR CLIENT. QUIT POINTING FINGER!”We’re one week away from closing and I barely get responses from him and when my Realtor tries to professionally do her job, she gets abused via texts and emails and messages. He even had the audacity to contact my LENDERS directly and asked them about the appraisal. Please understand that I have nothing to gain from writing this review and I only do so because I don’t want this to happen to anyone else who wants to buy real estate in the area. -Vince T.
