We had such a wonderful experience working with City Furniture. Beautiful, vast selection of furniture overall. Service in the showroom is great. Teresita Park in the Hialeah Showroom helped guide us throughout the process and was just AMAZING to work with. The delivery was very efficient and well organized. Overall very happy!
Ready to sell but post sale service is the worst company ever!They don’t honor the manufacture 1 year warranty. They forced you to pay $50 service fee to fix your brand new furniture you bought 1 month ago!!!Store does not care. As they mentioned in my face: Sorry we are a showroom. We don’t help customers. (Do customer service). Simple. Call the number.I’m so mad. Bought a brand new bed. Used 1 month. broken. And I have to pay $50 to come a service company to see if they can fix it. Is this for real?!?!?!The best part is when customer service on the phone told me that if the bed broke again, I will have to pay again! Really?!?!Where is the warranty City furniture?!?! I hope consumers see this post and realice that product is not all. Customer service is very important and you don’t know or care.
Would not even give one star if I could. My fiancé and I had the worse experience ever here. We are a young couple who were looking to buy our first couch. We were shown different couches and agreed on a white one. We asked multiple times regarding the warranties that we were purchasing as well and they completely lied to us about what it offers just to get the couch. We received the couch extremely dirty and when we called they were hesitant to even send someone to clean it even though we purchased the warranty and the cleaners were no show twice with no follow up or anything each time. Worse experience in my life. The cleaner finally came and told us himself how bad their services are. When we requested for exchange since the couch never got really cleaned they denied us. We received it defective how is that even fair or right to deny us? I will be reporting to the better business bureau regarding this.
Worst customer service. We purchased a sectional and they said it was available at the moment we purchased it. Then , it was cancelled twice on the same day it was confirmed for the delivery. I had to call several times to find out the status of the delivery and to make sure it was scheduled. The manager said all items will be delivered but one sofa was missing, them I had to call back to schedule the delivery and the item that was delivered was a different color and collection. Ralf, one of the the managers said that at that point I had to call customer service because I didn’t pay premium delivery. He basically didn’t want to deal with the issue and probably delivered the incorrect sofa on purpose. I understand the items are back ordered but they said all items were available at the moment we paid . After that, everything was canceled. We paid in full for the items that were taking long to be delivered. Other furniture stores are upfront for example Macy’s said it was going to take 3 months for our entertainment center and we understood. Also, it was charged at the moment the item was delivered. Very frustrated with City Furniture, worst experience and we will never purchase anything from them again.
This has been the worst experience Ive ever had with a store in the United States of America. What kind of store does not allow you to return an item? They told me that once an item was delivered, I would have to pay a $90 for returning something, which I completely understand because of logistics. Fine. But theres a huge different between that and not allowing me to return something? Not only they dont want to accept a return and refund me the money, but they dont want to give me a store credit either. They are forcing me to purchase another item for either the same price or more... And I can only do so with one of the pieces I dont need, the other one I can swallow I guess. What kind of business does that? Im not even trying to return the whole thing but just the ones that dont look good in my house. Awful awful experience. Will never ever go back and I would tell anyone who wants to buy here BE SURE TO GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED. Any doubt? Run away cause you wont be able to return it. I shouldve gone to Rooms to go, at least they let me return what I dont want.
Hi, I bought a reclining leather sofa, its only 6 months old, I paid 300 dollars for a guarantee that supposedly covered everything, my sofa is totally discolored and sunken, Ive been talking to costomer service for a month and a half ago so that a technician can visit my house , they lied to me about a scheduled visit , conclusion my sofa continues to deteriorate and City Furniture does not help me at all . I spent 2000.00 dollars and I have a horrible and old piece of furniture in my house
It had the best costumer service Ive ever experienced. Before going in we had decided to compare different stores and online prices before making a decision of buying anything. But we got out of the store with our new bunk bed arriving a week later. Needless to say that the product in itself is amazing. We paid for people to come in and assemble it, and they did the whole thing in less than half an hour. Really recommend. 10/10
The worst service I could of ever received, it been almost 3 month since my purchase and still have received my furniture. When purchasing my furniture I ask for the team in stock to have the best availability and still no luck.Went to the stores to speak to a manager and he didnt even give me face. Manager Franklin had a rep help me out. They didnt even try to apologize.Please dont shop her all their sales rep lie to get the sale..Horrible service!
There we were buying furniture, having a good time... people were nice. Everything was comfy and reasonably price. We were for sure having a good time.That is until the actual deliveries were to take place.Whoever filled out my wifes financial information somehow manage to not notice that the apartment number was not being typed in and thus we never got the account number. This wouldve have been a minor inconvenience if when we went to try to pay it via phone (knowing something must be do soon) they hadnt also manage to get their social wrong so we couldnt even validate the account. So we couldnt pay and they wouldnt deliver. We finally manage to get someone to fix the mess and the second part of our delivery was to arrive soon with my all important pillow and thus the pillow saga began.It was supposed to come with the first order, but it was on back order. They said we will get it on the second delivery. No problem, except it didnt come and they marked it as if it had. So I contact them, open a case and they have to do a full audit that took a few more days of my life. Still no pillow since they are still saying a payment is missing. So back on the line with customer service. Their phone system was supposed to call me after I gave up post a 1 hour wait... it didnt. I called again the next day... another 2 hours of my life out the window in which they close the service and I never managed to speak with anyone. All our accounts are fully paid and I am still sleeping without a pillow 3 months after I bought it.Update: My wife was able to speak with Kate, it seems customer service is fantastic once you manage to reach a person. Because of this and the fact that I do love the furniture itself... I have updated my review to 3 stars.
Hector was great at explaining everything BUT the return policy which is No Returns on home delivery items. I received a sofa which looks great. Unfortunately as soon as I had average size family members sit the frame broke. Now I cant return the sofa but wait for a Technician to see if it can be repaired. I will never buy from City Furniture again.
Incredible miscomunication in between them for deliveries and wrong information given to the customer, our delicery was rescheduled like 3 times in a week and after they told us if we wanted to get it sooner we can go amd pick it up in their distribution center in tamarac which we did amd when we got there the sofa was not there! conlcusion they dont value the customers time i asked for a refund and it will take a whole week to get my money back, 2 weeks lost and still waiting for the money back!
City Furniture has definitely lost its prestige. I used to think they were the best with high quality items and great customer service, but my recent purchase from them has been nothing but a headache! I bought a pub table that when delivered was very unstable. The delivery guys tried to tighten the screws but the table was extremely wobbly and I did not accept the table and asked them to take it back, they did. Then, they delivered barstools which they had to build, but the screws were not included! Had to wait another week for the screws to come in, then when they delivered the screws the technician did not have the proper tools. As if this wasnt a headache enough, I made a mistake and placed another order for 1 additional barstool, which they said was delivered on the 20th, and it WAS NOT!! I have been on the phone with them for two hours telling them the order was not received and now, they say I have to wait 48 hours for the supervisor to look into the order a bit further since their system said the order was delivered. So now I have to wait 2 more days on top of the 10 days I have been waiting for the delivery and who knows how much longer for the barstool to actually be delivered. UNREAL. At this point, WAYFAIR has better service. Oh yeah, and BTW, they had queen panel bed frame on sale before black friday for $199 and now for cyber week, they have the same panel bed on sale for $379. WHAT A JOKE!
Giving 2 starts just thanks to the beautiful furniture. The sales person work and the communication between the customer service and the delivery team is awful. Things went sideways for us. Heres the story.We bought a TV set that included a tv stand, a tower and 3 wall cabinets. The sales person advised us that if we paid premium delivery we were going to get the set in our house just as we saw it in the store. 1st lie. We paid the Premium Delivery and the next day we get everything; however, the tv stand had a crack on the back a one of the cabinets had a bumped corner. So the delivery team took it back and surprise, they dont do wall installation, that was not on the order they received. They called the dispatcher who advised the order was supposed to have a special code and it didnt. We called the sales attendant, she said she never told us that they install cabinets on the wall, very different from your are going to get this in your house installed as you see it here as we were told. Okay, well, our battle with customer service starts since the salesperson wasnt that knowledgeable, we had advised the dispatcher said that service was available. The lady of the customer service requests pictures of what was left in my house and what was returned, which we did. She advises that they cant bring just the 2 pieces that needed replacement, that they would bring a whole new set, to just return what was left here when they arrive + the installation guy was going to come the following day. We had to wait a week. That didnt happen, the 1st day only the tv stand arrives, the next day, the Installation guy comes without the missing cabinet. Mind you, during that waiting week, we fought with customer service because our the messages that we received from City Furniture had nothing to do with that the lady from Customer Service had advised. We ended up with a member of the management team who clearly saw that our situation could have easily been prevented but we now where in deep waters. She tried to get it right, but couldnt. She goes off on Vacation and there again were we having to talk to someone else, and explain the whole situation. The man on the phone get us the missing cabinet scheduled for delivery today (supposedly with installation). The team calls at 3 that they were 30 min away, arrived at 5:30 pm with a TV stand ( something that had already been brought on Tuesday) and the missing cabinet + they DONT do installation. We were supposed to have our furniture in good standing and installed since October 18, 2021. Many hours of work lost dealing with these people, unnecessary stress and disgust but overall sadness. A company that spends so much on ads yet their personnel is below the companys made belief standards, very incompetent.
Horrible experience! City furniture is a total ripoff. After waiting for 4 months we just had our delivery today, and everything was damaged, when we called the store we asked to talk to our sales person and he said that we need to call the customer service to make a claim, when we called customer service they said that they dont have a return policy and that we have to keep the sofas and the other products or we need to wait another 4 months to get replacement ones. This is just ridiculous, also not to mention that we received another other that was wrong, they did a claim on it and now they said there’s no claim so we need to keep that accent seat as well. Total ripoff. Dont buy with them!
Khiusttin Ruiz is the top of the line customer service/ sells representative for City Furniture! I drove from Homestead, FL all the way to Hialeah, FL just so that I could meet with him in person because I was having an issue with my furniture. Guess what, he resolved our problem in less than 10 minutes, also emailed everyone that needed to be notified. When you deal with City Furniture go see Khiusttin Q Ruiz, you wont regret it!
Sales person Dora and Luis were super helpful and super professional. They really know how to do their job and please the customer. I recommend them but not the store. I am actually editing my original review from 3 months ago. You can go to this nice store, they have beautiful furniture there and their sales people are great BUT make sure you will not need to call Customer Service because you’ll want to die. They are the worst...I spend hours and never talk to anyone...on hold for I don’t know how long😠😠😠They really need to work on this!!!
I was helped by Dora Melchor on June 29 to purchase a dining room set. I had the delivery august 16 and first the chairs were the wrong set and the dining table is missing the pieces. I immediately emailed and called Dora and told her about the wrong chairs. She said she would contact me back august 16 and still have not received a call back nor an email from her. I have tried to contact the show room and they never answer the phone. I’m really upset I still have not gotten my correct set of chairs and the dining table is missing pieces to build. I will not recommend city furniture nor this showroom. Worst customer service.
Poor quality customer services and after sales services.I purchased a sectional sofa but had a lot of difficulties in the payment and delivery services.qThey tried to charge extra delivery fee although we agreed for free delivery before buying that sofa.On top of it even though I had a problem about the connection between two sections they were not willing to help me. They forwarded me to another office in Tamarac to fix that issue. So, I have disconnected two section sofas right now and nobody is willing to help me. This is unacceptable situation for a customer.
Excellent customer service!! I highly recommend going to this store when making your next furniture purchased and when you get there ask for Alexander sales representative or Francisco the store general manager. I received my furniture and had to make some last minute changes. I Called customer service and no one was able find me a solution. However, I was able to get a hold of my sales rep Alexander who took the time to hear my concerns and with the help of Francisco store manager, an hour later my situation was resolved. Thanks guys
Erdwyn Gross Was wonderful servicing us yesterday. He asked great questions about what we were looking for which helped him walk us around the store and accurately depict items of our taste. He was friendly and warm and patient. We found the perfect bedroom set and we were absolutely in love with it. He was not pushy at all but at the Same time he gave us a lot of information regarding current sales opportunities and financing and protection warranties. We did leave just to check another place, but we were excited to come back the same day and close our purchase with Mr. Gross who truly went above and beyond to service us. We had a great experience purchasing our new bed set and are so excited to receive it soon.
Alex rodriguez was absolutely amazing. We made an appointment to meet him during my lunch hour and he was ready for us the second we arrived. He took us directly to what I was interested in looking at and didn’t waste my time. All salesman should be more like him. Thanks for the great experience
BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS. Worst experience of my life. I bought an electric sofa set and they brought me a mechanical set. I insisted on returning since it was the salesman’s mistake and I was stuck with a bill and a living room set that was not what I ordered. Here the customer has no rights. Do not waste your money here. So unprofessional.
I am moving to a brand new apartment and didn’t know where to begin. I want to City Furniture in Hialeah and had Elizabeth help us out. She was very charismatic and chatted with us to understand our vision. She was very resourceful and with the very little information we provided she was able to pull beautiful pieces together to furnish all of the rooms of the apartment. I loved working with her, we gave her a budget and she worked perfectly within it. We purchased everything at the end of the night because we did not want to shop anywhere else or miss the deals.
I am so happy with my purchase bought a beautiful sectional and it looks amazing at home. I highly recommend this location, the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable they guide you and help you choose options to make your place unique. My entire house is City Furniture, love the products. Will definitely keep shopping here!
Stay away from this place! My experience was that we looked at the furniture we wanted to purchase it; our sales person quickly placed a tag on it. As we were selecting other furniture another salesperson came by and said it was sold and that it already had been purchased. What? The other sales person never put a sold tag on the furniture BEFOREHAND. Terrible place to conduct business!
This has been the worse experience ive had buying furniture. They will not answer my phone calls. They have me waiting for over two months for my furniture. Ive even spoken to the regional manager and he just fed me more lies. I would have cancelled my order by now but they wont answer my calls. I paid for it cash yet theyre treating me like it was free donation. Do not go to this hialeah store.
I love purchasing at city furniture. They have great customer service and they are always there to answer any question you may have. Iris Salgado was my sales associates and she was wonderful. she walked me around the store showing me all the different options of furniture that suit my decor and style and gave me wonderful ideas. I’m glad I was able to find what I was looking for.
Worst place ever to make a purchase of the furniturea for your house. I have been waiting 3 months for my dinning table to arrive And when the days of the delivery comes, the hardwares where not included on the base of the table, really ? How is that possible, but the funny things is when you call costumer services even the manger doesnt treat you right, is like they are doing you a favor or giving you a discount to stay with the table like that.. how are you going to stay with a table that you cant even use, the other solutions was wait another 8 weeks for a new table.. how unpleasant is to buy from this furniture place.
My mom loves shopping at the store especially if Dora is on the floor she actually makes me call to make sure that shes there she has helped us twice with the furniture. She is extremely patient with my mother so far we have living room dining room and bedroom furniture thanks to Doras help and patience. We will be coming back for her
Needless to say the warm Welcome I received from Erdwyn! Just with that said alone he was stuck with me in making 3 major purchases. He was very polite and courteous not to mention very patient when it came to testing a well fit mattress for my needs! Had an awesome experience $3,000+ later but was worth every penny😊 Thank You again greatly appreciated

My wife and I placed an order on 11/8/20 we were advised it was on back order and would receive on 12/1/20 . When we check the weekend before it gave us a delivery date on 12/14/20 and not the full bedroom set . We call and spoke to the sales Rep Andrea Alarcon and she stated that we would be getting it on 12/8 and the dresser on 12/18 . We called Monday and spoke to Elizabeth and she confirmed delivery for everything on 12/8/20 and mentioned not to go buy the dates on the website . We call today to confirm delivery for Monday and not only do they say its now for 12/31/20 they also CANCELLED my dresser which I explained to salesperson was the most important part of the set for me . On the phone I heard the manager tell the sales girl unprofessionally and without any sympathy who told us it would be Monday ? She hung up on me right after did NOT return my call. So i go into the store and the manager did not help me , did not want to give his name when we called back to confirm his name to call cooperate. We cancelled the rest of the order only for him to tell us WE HAVE TO STILL MAKE A PAYMENT AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW WHERE THE 670 DRESSER CREDIT WENT TO THEY HAVE TO SEND ME A CHECK SO I CAN PAY THE BANK. I RAN MY CREDIT , NOW HAVE A 5K CREDIT CARD FOR A STORE I HAVE NO INTENTION TO SHOP IN EVER . WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED AT ROOMS TO GO LIKE MY INSTINCT TOLD ME .
The Salesman was super nice. BUT I will never buy at city furniture again. We went in because of the promotion they were having with free premium delivery and 60 month financing. We wanted to get the $500 dresser with mirror. We tell the lovely salesman what we wanted and about the promotion. When he Inputs the information it turns out you can’t get free delivery with the 60 month financing promotion and with choosing the financing promotion the dresser goes up in price an extra $100! So there’s literally no winning. Never. Ever. Again. Will I walk into a city furniture. It’s a complete waste of time.
From start to finish the customer service was exceptional. Ramiro was very thorough and knowledgeable about the product- Very great personality for a salesman.The process was very smooth and easy. I walked out feeling confident about getting the best deal I could have asked for! Will Recommend to friends and family!
I was helped by Claudia and I had a very good experience with her. She showed me exactly what I was looking for and had really good recommendations. I also loved that she wasn’t so pushy, which convinced me to buy. I am usually steered away by over pushy sellers. I was able to get a very nice centerpiece for my dining table. I also bought my dining table and couch from here. Very good selection and I love their warranty.
My husband and I came across City Furniture after a failed trip to Ashley’s; looking for a dining room table. Alex was really helpful, supportive, and answered all our questions and we were able to walk out purchasing exactly what we were looking for, in our price point and style preference. Definitely recommend City Furniture!
I came by this city furniture a few weeks back because we received a check redeemable at their store for a guarantee we never ended up using.So I went into the store not knowing what to buy but buy something that at least reached the minimum. The store is definitely well decorated, and the salesmen was friendly and did not put pressure on me to make a decision. In the end I settled on buying a nice chair for the master bedroom.Certainly was a good experience. I would recommend this store to everyone I know. Thank city furniture
My experience with City furniture was great Franklin my sales rep did an outstanding job. He went out of his way to accommodate my request. However, i was a bit disappointed because the chairs for the dining room that I purchased were on back-order for 4 weeks. But overall my experience was great, customer service was on point, even the manager went the extra mile to make sure that i left the store happy. I highly recommend asking for Franklin if youre thinking of doing business at the Hialeah Palmetto store
Me and my husband bought a new house we had to get furniture we purchased it on May they never told us how long it will take 6 months later we are still missing are sofa . every time I call they say something different I was suppose to get it in November know they said until next year I think it is really disrespectful to your customers not speaking with the truth if we buy furniture is because we need it if the orders are backed up your customers should know they wont get their furniture any time soon I will never buy hear again if I could give it no stars I would if you speak to your customers with the truth the company looks better but every month is something new.It is not fair or correct to the customers who buy hear.
I personally really liked the outlet. The prices are affordable and the furniture looks great. The only reason I wont give it 5 stars is because I feel the salespeople dont give you space. Ive gone there twice. The first time I went to purchase a mattress and the salesperson took me to the most expensive mattresses. Like, for real? The person could had ask me what my budget was and tooken me to the outlet part. They could have actually helped me instead of trying to push expensive items on me. The salesperson proceeded to take me the outlet only because I mentioned I could not afford such mattresses. The second time I went, which was to buy a couch I saw the first time, I went in and told them I was going directly to the outlet. I still had someone hovering around but I tried to make it clear I didnt need any help. Its just annoying the thing with the salespeople. I just want to go in an browse, Ill make my decision based on my budget, not theirs.Edit: I forgot to mention. The people who deliver are great, they have a tracking system, so you can see in real time on your phone what stop they are in of their current deliveries. They will call as well. The delivery service is excellent.
I just recently moved into my first home. I went to a lot of places to search for my furniture needs. I must say the experience I received at this City Furniture was by far the best amongst all of my shopping. I got a great deal, they gave me my space to shop comfortably, yet were readily available to provide professional assistance. I was assisted by Charlie Blanco his service was exceptional. He was professional, kind, went the extra mile to make everything easy. I returned for a second visit where Teresita assisted me, her service as well was exceptional. She completely added to the experience I went through with Charlie. During both visits, the assistance of the Manger Johnny was required. Johnny completed my process both times with comfort and ease And professionalism. I’d like to thank Charlie, Johnny, and Teresita for making this experience enjoyable and easy for me. I see no reason to shop elsewhere for furniture.
My experience at City Furniture was absolutely great and pleasant. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with not even 24 hours since I made the purchase. I purchased a mattress and on the first night sleeping on it (hasnt even been 24 hours since I purchased it) it did not meet my expectations. I called them to inform them that I will like to EXCHANGE it for a different mattress not RETURN it. However the vendor who attended me Erdwin Gross did NOT inform me that if I dont buy the mattress protector I wont be able to return anything. I was transferred to customer service hoping that they can understand but no issue was resolved. I went in person to speak to the general manager Fernando Almeda so he can help and still no solution and the attention was not what I expected. Now I am stuck with a mattress that is not fit for me. I am very unhappy with the service and I will never buy from them again.
I will definitely recommend this furniture store located in 5250 West 20th Ave in the city of Hialeah.After a bad experience in another furniture store with the service, delay of merchandise and specially the delivery I went to this place and the results is great.The representative JANET MARIN was very professional and she help me with all the process of the purchasedI finally found the furniture I was looking for in stock and the delivery was very fast.I also thanked the manager who was very professional and gave me a good promotion.

Great Place to buy your furniture for your home. Highly recommended plus the customer Service was amazing from Sales Associate Raisa Infante. My husband and I were very undesired on what to get and Raisa kindly made great recommendations and was very patient with us. In addition the delivery was fast and we had no issues. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.
Just moved to Florida and found a great deal on my dining table. Sales associate Raisa was very helpful and I loved her tactic to give me appropriate space to roam and make my selection and then jump in at the perfect time to help me with my purchase. My wife and myself we both went to two other city furniture stores but frankly the attention was not the same as the one provided by Ranses Ferrer. Mr. Ferrer helped us through out the whole process and we received the best experience ever, he was extremely patient, profesional, and kind.... he took the time of guiding us and tips us with many different recommendations in order to now have the house of our dreams... I came to City Furniture after having a disastrous experience at another furniture store. I was really trepidatious because City Furniture is a bit expensive for my budget.I arrived w/ my mom and daughter, we were greeted by Luis Milan (sales associate). He listened to what I was looking for and was also helping me find pieces that I might not other wise think would go in my home. I chose a living room couch that was amazing and comfortable thanks to Luis thinking outside the box(was it a bit over budget yes, but it is well worth the price).Next the recliner- he did his best trying to sell me an electric recliner, but we ended up w/ a great manual recliner that is both comfy and budget friendly.The only 2 things I didn’t purchase were the dining room set and sofa end table- but Luis said go online and if you see something you like call me with the sku number if there is store that has in the showroom and you’d like to see it go and we can place the order before delivery.Any other sales assc. would have probably bot said anything in order to charge another delivery fee or not cared as long as they already made the sale.That’s exactly what I did. I came home and I looked through the dinning room sets CF has. I found one I like also did the same with the end table. Will call Luis first thing Monday morning and these items to my order.Again CF is pricey for my budget, but their sales assc. went above and beyond in my opinion. Will I go most likely. I’m so glad I had a horrible experience at that other furniture store.
My experience at City Furniture was excellent. Hany Espinosa, the salesperson taking care of us was very knowledgeable about the furniture at the store. She took her time to take care of us. We were impressed by her professionalism and would like to commend her. Employees like her will keep us customers coming back. Thank You City Furniture for an awesome experience buying furniture. I think they might have some management challenges. I went with my neighbor, who paid cash to order a sofa from their showroom floor, but which was out of stock. They got her delivery address wrong, then after a wait of two months, about a week before the delivery date, they postponed the delivery date without letting her know. She wants a refund and prefers to have nothing to do with this outfit going forward. Simple task, botched, no empathy or apology from Frank the manager when we spoke with him in person. Avoidable bad situation.
Very disappointed to the City Furniture that it used to be. I was in the store for over one hour and no one ever asked me if I needed help or at least tried to help me find what I went there to buy 2 table lamps and a acrylic painting which I bought today at El Dorado Furniture where from the minute I walked in I had a sales person walking me through the entire store. Never will go back and I will not recommend anyone to this store.
Great customer service! We were greeted and offered assistance as soon as we walked through the door. Shaily Javier was very knowledgeable and walked us through the entire store until we found exactly what we were looking for. The shopping experience was relaxing - we felt no sales pressure and Shaily asked us questions to make sure we went home with furniture to match our needs.
Most horrible experience Ive ever had. Run and go anywhere else! I bought all new furniture and spent nearly $4,000. They really dont care about my experience and just care about selling. I wont recommend City Furniture to anyone. Expensive for nothing. Erdwyn and his manager just cared about selling.1. It took over a month to get stuff to my home. They told me they I will get everything in 3 to 4 weeks. I made the order in the beginning of August and theres still a missing item and they said Ill get in November.2. I returned an item and they promised me Id get it after my most recent delivery and now theyre saying I wont get until I receive the last item.3. Yesterday October 13 I laid on my bed and the bedroom set just fell apart. The screws came off and everything! When I lift up the mattress and box there was 2 pieces of the thin wood holding my weight. Like really? 2 pieces? I sleep alone and weigh 170p. In addition there was 2 pieces of hardware the installers just left on the floor. They didnt install it right and in addition the material looks as cheap as IKEAs stuff.4. Customer care told me to sumbit a claim online so apparently they either didnt want to help me out or they cant do it. When I went online it should like the order was still pending so I couldnt submit the claim.5. I called corporate today. Lets see what happens.
Let me start by saying that i have no issues with the sales department, very friendly and helpful but as soon as the furniture gets paid no one bothers to do their job anymore. I ordered a bedroom set along with a table, couch, and lamps which were set to be delivered a specific day (months from our actual purchase date). We kept calling city furniture to see if they had gotten in contact with our building to set up a date and time for everything to be delivered in which they didnt. We had to contact the building ourselves and it was chaos from the beginning. Fast forward to our actual delivery date in which both my fiance and I took the day off work in order to accommodate for the arrival of our furniture. The night before they were suppose to deliver it (which was on Sunday) city furniture called and left a voicemail stating that they could not deliver it (we already had taken the day off). New delivery date was for Wednesday. They called us Tuesday night at 8pm (after which again both taking another day off) to state that again they could not deliver it because the lamps were in back order. I am furious to say the least in the level of disorganization city furniture has provided with absolutely no remorse. One week later and we still havent gotten our furniture. We could have easily picked up the lamps at a later day. We cant even sleep at our new place because we dont have the bed frame. Im never buying from here again...

On March 25, 2017 I purchased a Sofa & a Love Seat recommended by one of your sales person, Clara Sanchez. I told her clearly that I have a pet (cat) in my house and that I needed a very strong material to avoid exchanging the furniture or losing my money. She assured me that the furniture was very strong, that it will be impossible for the cat to tear the material which this wasn’t true because the Sofa is now damaged. She also told me that if something happens I will be able to return or exchange the furniture at no cost. On December 9th, 2018 I contacted Quality Control at City Furniture via email to schedule an appointment to repair the sofa. I then had to email them two additional times because I didn’t receive any response from them, which is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.My last attempt was on January 3rd, 2019 when I decided to call your Customer Service Department, which I was very disappointed. The Representative told me that they couldn’t exchange the furniture that I had to buy another sofa and can only provide me with a 50% off and free delivery. This is not what I was told when I bought the furniture. When I purchased said item, I was told clearly that I can return or exchange the future. This is highly unprofessional, and I don’t appreciate your sales people lying to me just so that they can sell the merchandise.***Please train your sales persons to not to lie to the customers to prevent this from happening in the future***

Do yourself a favor and buy at this city furniture! We had the best experience with Alejandro Perez and the store manager. They were very helpful and nice, we had gone earlier to the location and Dadeland and left empty handed due to the horrible service we received from the sales guy.
This store was very organized, and I felt very safe with the COVID protocols. Teresita Park took care of us as always very professional and very pleasing to our needs. She showed us exactly what we were looking for, and she also took us to the mattress gallery. Teresita is one of the reasons that I travel from broward county, to this particular store.
Dealt with Alberto what a wonderful sales rep no stress no hassle no pushiness. Let us walk the entire place then he gave us insight and good info on several options. We were in and out in less than an hour. Absolutely loved our sectional and he followed up with us for a piece we needed to remove and handled it effortlessly and without any worry on our part. Came just as requested. I would definitely recommend this showroom and specifically Alberto for a wonderful experience. You wont regret it!
Elizabeth N. was great. Unfortunately, the furniture is not. My table came damaged straight out of the box. Also, the bench, which was almost $200 alone, cracked after sitting on it once... and no one in my house is heavyset. For what I paid, the furniture shouldnt have been damaged, and the bench should not crack like it did. It was right at the screw that was never even touched when I had yo build it myself.
I would to thank Adriana Fajardo for assisting me on purchasing my desired living room rug, I appreciate her outstanding costumer services. They had the last living room in stock which was A floor sample and she didn’t have anyone in the store to assist in removing the floor sample rug off the floor and I believe the manager informed that I have to wait until Monday which was pathetic!. I refuse to drive back al the way to Hialeah coming from Kendall, so Adriana Fajardo decided to help me without no hesitation and did it on her own and of course I helped her arranged the floor . I was so happy and very satisfied !! I will definitely come back for her she was Great!!!
I went to City Furniture yesterday to take advantage of the Memorial Day Sale. My host was gracious and welcoming the moment I entered the store. She helped me go directly to the pieces I showed her on my phone that I had already pre selected online, her name is Janet and she is very knowledgeable of where the items where in the store. Janet helped me walk to my items and checked for availability in store for me to purchase them, she also helped me get a credit increase on the phone with the financing bank so that I could purchase all my items with ease. Also for anyone wondering about proper PPE in the store have no worries all the employees where wearing masks and furniture was being wiped down and disinfected as well. The store is holding appointments for to minimize the number of people in the store at one time. For our safety and theirs the store is not allowing purchasers to sign on the ipad, instead a line is being placed in order of a signature to avoid the transfer of hand to hand. Janet printed me a full detailed receipt of my purchase once the sale was finalized for my records. I was very pleased with the customer service level and professionalism from my sales representative and left more than happy with my purchase. I felt safe in the store walking around with my daughter to make my new purchase and recommend anyone to go with peace of mind to shop for new furniture at City Furniture.
We recently bought our first home and are expecting our first child. We were now in need of a new master bedroom set and a crib and nursing furniture. City Furniture has the best selection for both and their prices are unbeatable. We were specially delighted by the mattress selection for their baby and kids department. An absolute pleasure to be assisted by their sales team and we will most definitely be back to the store in Hialeah for everything else we will need in the near future!!

Great experience at the Miami City Furniture in Hialeah. We worked with Alexander and he was very personable and kind considering we had three kids in tow (one of them a newborn) and had to furnish a whole house. He got the kids balloons and was quick to take our order. He even provided us with his personal cellphone so we could call in case we had any concerns or questions. This actually came in handy when I had to delete an item from being delivered since it would not fit in our living room. He took it off easy with no problem. ***UPDATE***First of all I do give 5 stars to the seller, she is awesome!!!I finally received my table, it was a backorder and it took almost a month. There is no words to express how disappointed and sad I am. This table looks cheap and poorly finished, but the worst part is how City Furniture is handling this situation. Hello, we are Alberto Hernandez and Maria Roque, we are City Furniture clients for 5 years and we have always been very satisfied until we started the claim for our Serta mattress with order number 616315 and Claim number 00869619. A weeks ago a technician came to whom we explained the situation that the mattress when it broke the most was when we went to bed and we believed that he had understood, after a while they called us to tell us that they were not going to do anything about the mattress because the technician said that I had no problem, I asked them for help and they only said that they could not do anything, I spoke with several managers and they said the same thing that they never send a second technician, then the person said that the technician had done a bad job and that if they were going to send to another technician. October 28, the second technician came and was very kind and explained to us how it works and the requirements that the mattress must have for a change but that they could not measure with a person lying down, which is when the problem is seen. Based on the poor condition of the mattress, my wife and I had to sleep on the sofa and go to the doctor for the pain caused, October 29 they called again and said the same thing that they were not going to make any changes and that they were not going to help nothing. I believe as a client that we deserve help after seeing such an expensive mattress paid for and a guarantee, we are not asking for anything that we do not deserve. Once again I ask for your help to be able to change our mattress that is still under warranty. Thank you
From the salesman to the delivery everything was perfect. Charlie at the store was very knowledgeable, extremely poorleasent. Explained the process in layman term. Answered all my questions. The delivery was on time, same day, they assembled everything quickly and clean. communication regarding the delivery was great.
The entire experience, from the store to delivery, was very smooth. The staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, accommodating, and everything went without a hitch. Getting a call 30 minutes before delivery avoids having to wait at home for hours. They seem to have a very efficient way of running things, which makes the experience for us, the customer, worth repeating.
My wife and I bought our living room, bedroom, and patio furniture together and scheduled delivery couple weeks after. They lied to us when they said all items were available and it took us 4 months and 10 deliveries later to get all the items. Many times items will arrive incorrect, incomplete, or the wrong color. Today we received the last item after it was bought on June 1st. The recliner had different color at the bottom compared to the rest of the items, now we need to probably wait for them to come back and pick it up again. Overall, I dont blame any specific store but the overall processing department and the amount of mistakes on deliveries. Keep in mind each time a delivery happens, either myself or wife have to stay home waiting for it, just to find out it was missing something as simple as a power plug. Anyways, I would never recommend this place to anyone and as soon as I get all the items wont bother coming back. If i had an option for 0 stars i would. Good luck folks.

He helped my wife and I a year ago pick out a king size bed that we are in love with.We actually came back to this same location and specifically looked for him because of his kindness and professionalism. Today, I went in to purchase my daughters mattress for a big girl bed. I was having trouble deciding what mattress to get for her. As soon as I walked in everyone greeted me with a smile. They put a price on the display model and when I wanted to purchase they said the price belongs to a different model. Both the associate and the manager came to show off and tell me it’s not them it’s the corporate makes those rules. I’ve been a customer for long years and spent a lot of money there but they always have the same issue. Poor customer service and now adding a new issue for placing tags that don’t belong to the merchandise!!!!!!
I will not recommend to anyone come to this store. I reserved what I wanted to buy giving the 10% of the purchase, but the day I was going to pay the rest of the money all the items where not available and I have to wait 10 more days to receive them.The day I received the deliver I was missing a few items, and the driver wanted me to sign for what I did not received and was very rude, the items on top of arriving late some of them came with minor damages, I was able to fix them but that is not suppose to happen. the sales rep was very nice but instead of nice i would prefer him aggressive defending my interests by the time I lost the reservation.Updated: Terrible, they just contact me (Kari Tison) to tell me that is was my fault and it is what it is!!Question: can you explain to me how becomes my fault the fact that I reserved a few items and the reservation was modified latter by another store?,Also how come that when they told me i was going to receive a few item and the item came 4 days latter, its that my fault too??and is also my fault that the deliver guy was rude by the time he wants me to sign for something I never received?Regarding the items with minor damages, do you suggest me not to accept the items damaged......and then what? wait for two more weeks for the items to arrive?. I prefer to fix them my selfI though you where going to contact me to make my experience better, but surprise for me you just make it worst.
I am beyond disappointed in this furniture store. It took over 2 months for a credenza to be delivered; after waiting, the delivery showed up and left a box saying, as it was free, they were not supposed to assemble. Tried multiple times to call the local store to contact the sales rep that sold me the furniture at 3:30pm and all the time I was transferred to a voicemail. Keep in mind, I had already made 2 payments for something I had not received. Dont buy here!!
Everything about my furniture purchase was GREAT!! From help with picking out a living room set to the delivery I have no complaints at all. Monica was absolutely wonderful & I love how she even took the time to follow up with me to make sure everything went well. For the future I will always make sure I go back to City Furniture of Hialeah :)
Spoke with manager from the Hialeah store and told him that we have bought a lot of furniture from there and explained to him that we had bought some 6 chairs from there and within a year they started to peal. His reply was that I purchased the chairs 5 years ago and he could do nothing. For the 6 new chairs that we are buying. I will not go to that store to buy anything from them anymore.
Manager Johnny did not want to match online promotion for free shipping on items over 500. He lost my business and ordered product online for a cheaper cost. Was having a great experience with the representative until the manager got involved. He stated he would only waive my shipping if i purchased a mattress when i was already buying a 2k sectional plus additional pillows.
We have been shopping at the Hialeah store for years and we love our sales persons Monica and Theresita. They hav always been so attentive and professional. Always calls us to follow up after every purchase to make sure everything went well with delivery and to make sure we are happy with our purchase. Me and my husband give Monica & Theresita not 5 but 10 stars. We reccommend Monica & Theresita to everyone we know.

I love the place. always they have exactly what I want and the price that I can afford. but the reason why I give you today only 1 star is my past experience.Im too disappointed with the service they gave me the seller. He never program my delivery. I had to call to find out what was going on that same day he was to have received it. Mr. Manuel Cruz was as confused unfocused several occasions when he was taking us payment. Its embarrassing for me everything that happened and I feel cheated by the seller.
Had an amazing experience here. We walked in and didnt really know what we wanted for our bedroom but Said helped us and guided us in the right direction and we walked out extremely happy with the bedroom set we bought. Will definitely be coming back here again when we furnish our guest room.
Despite having nice furniture, the customer service is poor. Please dont expect a timely deliver and/or expect your invoice to be correct. Bring your own calculator, expect poor communication, and most important ... Dont expect to receive your furniture on the date of time scheduled!
My husband and I had been looking to buy a Tempurpedic mattress to replace our Serta iComfort, and upon seeing City furniture listed as one of their approved sellers, we decided to stop on in. We were quickly greeted by Clara, who wasted no time in showing us their selection. She explained the in and outs, allowing us to make a final and informed decision. We couldn’t be any happier with the purchase and with our experience. Would definitely recommend and won’t hesitate to return.
I have never in my life been as disappointed in a company as I am in City Furniture. I bought a bedroom set back in the beginning of July, being told the headboard was in back order for 2 weeks. It is now TWO months later and still no headboard. It has been excuse after excuse with your company. Every time one of your reps call, its to give us a bogus excuse as to why the headboard cannot be delivered. Today, the driver hit a pothole and the headboard was damaged. The manager, Ivan Muñoz, didnt offer to deliver it the following day, instead said it was back ordered AGAIN until September 12th. Your employees are in dire need of customer service training. Most importantly, City Furniture as a company is a disgrace. I have never been upset to the point of having to go online and write a negative review. However, you do not know the stress and inconvenience your institution has caused in my home! I will NEVER, EVER purchase anything from you again. I have a real estate company, and I will make sure to tell every single client, family member, and friend to NEVER purchase from City Furniture!!!
After going to several competitors and a few City Furniture locations. I finally stumbled into the Hialeah location where I was greeted by the most amazing sales woman. Agnis took immediate interest in what we were looking for. She was amazing! She shared ideas, suggestions. She expressed patience. She did not hesitate to show me around the whole showroom. Even after seeing that I was undecided because of the extended selection we had. She took ownership and made my decision seem clear. By the time we had finished. I had purchased a complete bedroom set including a king size mattress. Two days later I was back buying their best mattress cover. Again I needed to be helped by Agnis. Just because she was so willing and so easy to work with. Today I ended going back after making aure she would be there to help me again. I ended up buying a designer bench for the front end of my new bed. I’m extremely happy to have made the choice of doing business with Agnis. Will definitely recommend anyone I know that is looking for excellent attention and good quality furniture.

They have low price for excellent quality products, also the staff really help you to make the selection that fix for you, and give you different method of make your payment. Avoid at all costs!!! City furniture lies on delivery dates and when they deliver the item was wrong. Then they never replace the wrong item. They keep rescheduling and rescheduling and never deliver on their promised delivery date. And this was for only one sofa. I will never buy from City or recommend.

Run away from this store dont waste your time or your money here, back I 2015 we bought a living room set a huge L shaped couch we were so happy until in a few month one of pieces started to peel off, so we called the customer services to find out about the guarantee and the person who answered the phone was really rude and told me that the peeling off thing was not covered by the insurance that we bought, so few month after that the seat was getting worse, so I called back to the customers service, and this person told me that what the guy told me the first time was not true that the peeling off was covered but a that time she couldnt help me because my guarantee was expired already, the bottom line is that spent a lot of money in that living room set and it was damaged in less than a year. And nobody cares they just wanna take your money and that is it you are in your own, my advise save your time and your money buy at that store is like buy something from the flee market.

I had a great sales associate named Teresita at the Hialeah Store which made the whole purchasing process smooth. My furniture was delivered by a great team who did an amazing job assembling the items. All of my questions were answered and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. 2022-04-19Horrible customer services! After they close the purchase with you FORGET about any claim/complaint for damage to be fix. They don’t care.I got a dresser with a drawer damaged, then the second dresser came in with a big hole inside the box (I noticed right opening the box). I submitted a claim and customer service on the phone, don’t know what to do. They told me to go to the store and went over to the store and they told me to contact customer service.They scheduled a PICK UP without a delivery of a new item, meaning I would’ve been without dresser and they would’ve keep the money. I went over to the store and they rescheduled me another delivery and made me paid for it!!! For September… meaning I have been dealing with a claim dresser for a year (: let’s see what happens in September now.Oh! Delivery guys are very respectful and recognize the rudeness and disorganization from customer service, coming from store and phone.

2022-05-06Bought a new couch for $1400 in November. Delivered in December. In February it literally started coming apart at the seems and the material started wrinkling. Took pictures and put in a claim. In April a unprofessional guy came to inspect the couch. 3 weeks have passed and no word from anyone. Here I am in May, ripped new wrinkly ripped couch. We dont have kids or pets. This is defective workmanship. I call the warranty department and she said, yes, I see the pictures but there is nothing they could do. What? it hasnt been 4 months. We dont need a refund We need a new couch that is not coming apart to sit on. Exchange our couch and give us a another one. Or give us a credit. Or give us a refund. Find a solution please.

2022-04-02Just picked up all my living room furniture and Hector provided me with tremendous amount of support/assistance throughout the entire process, he was very patient and im extremely satisfied with the service that was given to my family. He was detail oriented and is one of a kind, I will definitely be returning back in the future.

2022-03-04Super disappointed never recommend.When u buy items everything good but very poor delivery experience.I spent $3100 for bedroom sets the frame come out missing part.My wife(she is pregnant) and I sleep on the floor because of their unprofessional work.Even though they say still on the way , I don’t believe that they gonna finish it.I m willing to give them 0 star but here no choice that’s why I have to give 1 star.Be careful for CITY FURNITURE!!!!

2022-03-13I’ve visited this location several times while shopping for my apartment and the staff is always very helpful, and kind. Erdwyn made the process very easy and he is extremely informative! He’s very friendly & provides the best assistance. They truly have beautiful products to consider at this location. Thankful for the experience we had here!

2022-04-06Wow I was misled back in 2020. I was told the warranty covered anything from key damages to pet damage. I tried to file a claim today just to find out they only covered manufacturer warranty. They also did a horrible job installing by bed set back in 2020 after paying for it. The bed set fell apart! They said theyll send someone out and never did. I had to do it myself. They stole my money twice. Ill never buy anything here again.

2022-06-24Before buying this product, check the shipping time with your seller, since city Forniture sellers give erroneous information on the delivery time. After my purchase, the seller assured me 1 month to receive my product, now it magically became 5 months and they do not assure me if it will arrive in October (they did not give me any explanation).Under the description of this product is the word AVAILABLE which is very different from Estimated Time. Dont be scammed.
