We called them to take a look at our ac because it was 88 degrees in the house and we have 3 kids and a dog. They told us they would come. Three hours later we called for a time check, they said there were 3 calls ahead of us. Another 3 hours later they still did not call or show up so we called Always Cool Inc (they are awesome and give a veteran discount) and they came out 2 hours later. Cuesta NEVER called us and did not pick up their phone when we tried calling again. Imagine being in a 88 degrees house with children and a dog, waiting on a company who said they would show but never did and never reached out. If they cannnot be trusted with their word how could they be trusted with anything else? They did not even care that there were children in the home (we did take the kids somewhere and came back once it was cooler outside to keep doors/windows open and had to use fans) We dealt with them once before, but never, ever again.
Cuesta and his team are the best in town. From installation to just regular maintenance, they alway go above and beyond. The office staff is friendly and caring, the site staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I highly recommend this business to anyone seeking for a new install, and/or maintenance of your AC unit in SLC.Thank you!

This company has been incredible to work with. They are professional, responsive, and trustworthy. They were on time, and very thorough. Not only did he clean all vents and take apart the unit to inspect/ clean, he took the time to explain to me all of the working parts and if I needed to clean myself, how to do that. He was a pleasure to work with and so knowledgeable regarding this unit and AC care in general. Someone who really knows their field and takes time to educate others on proper use/care is such an important quality, at least to me!Also working with the office staff has been nice. Cuestas air conditioning was able to resolve our problem when no other local company could (or would). The communication from Juliet was outstanding. The technician was able to accurately and honestly diagnose what needed to be repaired. Overall I had a great experience with this company and would definitely use again.

The guys at Cuesta air-conditioning did a fantastic job installing my package A/C unit. When my unit went down they got the new one installed very quickly, but also offered temporary portable air-conditioning units. Luckily it was cool enough where I did not need that but the offer was very kind. The installation went perfect, they were very professional, courteous, expedient and on time. The service they provide is excellent and I would recommend to anyone.
Working on a home away from home when AC suddenly went out. Found Cuesta’s online and they were awesome from the first call. They dispatched Andre and I knew I was dealing with a pro from the heads up call he gave me. When he arrived he quickly assessed the problem in minutes and went right to work on it. AC restored but didn’t stop there! He checked entire system, inside and out, removed panels, hooked up meters, temp sensors etc...even checked the heat! When done, he even let me keep a pen since mine ran out of ink. Awesome & highly recommended. Ask for Andre!
I was very happy with the service I received from Dennis on a Sunday afternoon. He arrived about an hour after I called and was very professional. He really cares about his customers, he solved my air conditioner problem and addressed a few other issues with the A/C system. He replaced a few wires and placed them in a much tidier and organized way than they were before. He also restored power to the outside unit. His problem-solving skills and professionalism are second to none. I would highly recommend this company.
We had an unfortunate situation with a contractor working on an adjacent condo unit who accidentally hit my AC line in the wall causing my system to go down. I called Cuestas and within 2 hours Dennis was at my house. He very efficiently and quickly repaired the line and charged my system and got my AC back up and running. This is the second time they have responded quickly to my call. I have been in PSL for over 30 years and used several different A/C companies, but by far Cuestas is the best company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service and their follow up phone calls are indicative of their professionalism. I highly recommend Cuestas Air Conditioning.

I contacted Cuesta concerning my A/C unit not working due to leak. He arrived on time and found oil on the unit from the first technician. He check the unit and found it was low on Freon which was a no brain. He then decided to check both units for leaks with a small probe and found no leak. He then decided to put Freon in the system without using a scale to measure the Freon, knowing dam well the system has a leak. Then he (Cuesta) said it would cost 435.00 to test the lines between both units. So it would cost 435.00 to tell me the line has a leak and God alone know what it would cost to repair the line. This man charged 600.00 dollars for the Freon that leaked out that night. He could have vacuum the lines and found which line was leaking but instead rip me off. I would never use this company or recommend this company.
Every contact I have had with Cuestas, from the owner to the office staff to the installers, has been completely professional. I had some ideas about the new installation. The other bidders said OK to all of them. Dennis Cuesta explained why some of them were impractical and would cost me in the long run. Once I agreed to purchase, they promptly got my old unit running so we would be comfortable. The installers came. Both were friendly, polite and respectful. They worked hard and finished the same day. It is one of the neatest installations I have ever seen, and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly. Cuestas is a Class A1 organization. I have found the trustworthy a/c contractor Ive been looking for.
Family owned and run, this company prides itself on excellent customer service, training of their staff on mechanical systems and they keep up with technology like Nest Thermostats. They have responded to my request for service (backed up drip line) and offered to come immediately or the very next morning. I chose next morning because there wasn’t water leaking in the house but they reminded me that if I changed my mind, they would come that evening since they offer 24/7 calls.The young man sent by Cuesta’s AC is Chris R. and I was impressed with his knowledge of high tech wireless thermostats (we have Nest) and he checked systems and did troubleshooting. He then inspected the ac and showed me how the drain line was clogged and the sensor speaks to the Nest to alert and shut down system to avoid leaking inside. He showed me how to inspect it myself and went about inspecting the entire unit, restarting the Nest, and inspected both the inside and outside units, the drain line and then unclogged and cleaned out the drain line.I was so impressed with the company’s and their tech’s knowledge, efficiency and professionalism that I signed up for a full year plus of maintenance which included a discounted service call for today plus labor and materials warranty. My friends had spoken very highly of Cuesta’s AC for their quality and customer service and I must say I agree. This company is excellent and they do not try to up sell you or fool around.I highly recommend Cuesta’s AC for quality service and reasonable rates. A true value!

We were referred to this company by a friend who works for an AC brand. He said he uses them for his own maintenance and thinks they are great. He was right! This company has truly outshined its competition!! We have had issues with our AC for a while and have used two other companies. After being told by the last company that they would not come out to repair our unit because of its age, we had the good fortune of trying Cuestas. The customer service from Christine was superior to what we had been experiencing in the past. The technician Andre was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Outstanding service and staff. Dennis the owner came out, diagnosed out problems. We discussed fixing a 13 year old AC or getting a new one with the extended warranty. We of course went new with the comfort of the extended warranty. While we waited for the new unit Dennis provided us with a portable AC unit so we could at least sleep in comfort while we waited.Christine in the office made sure we were kept updated about install date and city inspection.Dennis even rechecked the job his crew did before inspection so that there were do delays.I would highly recommend Cuestas AC and Heating to anyone in need of cool air on a hot Florida day.
What a breath of fresh air dealing with Cuestas Air Conditioning & Heating. When its 90 degrees outside you need an AC company that will show up fast and know their stuff. More than 6 months ago I had a Cuestas technician come to the house and he was able to fix my unit quickly and professionally. Naturally I called them again when I had an issue last week. Christine was knowledgeable and actually helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. I do recommend Cuestas and will certainly call them again the next time I need servicing.
The Cuestas team was extremely helpful in such an uncertain time as COVID-19 pandemic. I had been putting off getting my AC serviced out of precaution, but their attention to safety (from social distancing to wearing masks and contactless payment) made me feel very secure in working with them. Christine was able to get us scheduled for the next day, answered all questions and explained I could decide on a service agreement after seeing the techs service since it was my first time working with them. Joey was the tech that performed the service, explained what he was doing and did it all in an hour! Very happy with their service and looking forward to my next service visit!
We lost our AC on a Saturday and we reached out to a few companies before we called Cuestas who answered right away. they gave us a quote and came out in twenty minutes. Andre was very nice and professional, he worked on the issue and made sue the AC was running before he left. We have used Cuesta over the years for general maintenance of our AC unit and over the years they continue to impress us! They are always on time, they take the time to listen to the issue and not jump to conclusions. They sent Nick to us this time, as the AC’s fan was blowing but it wasn’t cooling as it normally does, and he arrive and assessed the issue which was a minor part replacement. After testing then fixing the part, he continued to inspect the entire system to insure everything was in proper working order. Hats off to Denis for having such a great company and Nick for his professionalism! Highly recommended!!

The customer service from Juliet and Cathy is amazing and Gabriel who installed was so professional and explained everything he was doing to my husband. Cuestas has always been quick to come and resolve my issues. They have courteous employees and have wonderful customer service. The techs were dressed professionally and explain everything that is going on. I had a duct cleaning done and a Reme-Halo installed and they did a great job at cleaning up after themselves. I highly recommend Cuestas to all my family and friends.
I purchased my home a few years back and this a/c unit was not maintained properly before me. I started having problems. I was referred to Cuesta’s hvac by neighbors that have been his customer for years.. I have a yearly service contract now. By having a contract they come out 24/7 at no addition charge (legit) .. So about my good experiences . Over the first 6 months I called Cuestas out to my house multiple times, unit stopped working overnight and they were out fast. They got me up and running in no time. i needed a few parts and the a/c was getting better and better.. On my 6 month preventative maintenance appointment, the owner, Dennis came out to my home. First off, he was super nice. He explained to me what he was going to do. Normal maintenance stuff. Then he saw a few more preventative maintenance projects that he wanted to do. He told my why I need them completed . It’s all covered on my contract.. He secured some wiring better, cleaned up some stuff that wasn’t up to his standards.. during his testing of my heating/ a/c unit the blower motor stopped working. He said it was working when he got here so he replaced it at no charge to me. My a/c is running much more efficient now..in fact it’s perfect now. humidity levels are always normal now, which is really important to me. That motor was definitely on its last leg. I just got lucky in this instance. I recommend this company.
Would definitely recommend. AC went out and Andre was extremely responsive and professional. All on a Sunday. The price was reasonable and Andre was extremely patient and explained in detail his actions. He made sure we were safe and wore a mask throughout. Cuestas air conditioning installed my new unit and they did an excellent job. The maintenance program is also an excellent idea to be on as you should always keep up with your unit. The technicians are very experienced and helpful. Always making sure to answer all your questions. They take their time to make sure the job is done right. My A/C stopped working suddenly. Cuestas technicians responded to a late night call, did an initial assessment, but needed parts to repair. Next day a technician conducted a detailed assessment and concluded that only one minor component was needed. He went to get the part and installed it, and the air conditioner was fixed that day at reasonable charge Along the way, he cleared the A/C drain, pumped out water from the ducts and cleaned the unit. Were very happy with their service.
My experience couldnt be better. I live in Miami and they sent me a well-trained technician from Port St Lucie because they references were very good and I decided to hire a company outside of Miami.They did a complete cleaning of all the air conditioning ducts, they cleaned the inside and outside unit, they installed a last generation thermostat, an ultraviolet light air purifier and they did a total maintenance checking all possible problems. Denis, the owner was always following up and the technician very professional and respectful.SInce then my air is working in perfect condition and I feel that I made the right decision. I recommend them one hundred percent according to my experience.

Cuesta’s is a locally owned family business that services the Treasure Coast area. The owners Dennis and Juliet Cuesta provide top notch professional service for all your air conditioning and heating needs. I purchased a new AC, air handler, and had to get all new ductwork in my attic. They came in and removed all the old stuff and and installed everything in 3 days like they promised and I’m extremely satisfied. The fact that they provided us with portable air during those 3 days so we would be comfortable while they worked was an added bonus. The employees at Cuesta’s were professional, hard working, and knew what they were doing from start to finish on the project. Our inside motor went out, the company was able to have the part replaced on warranty which saved us a lot of money. Because the schedule was so busy for the staff, the owner Dennis came out and replaced the part. That was jaw dropping, he did not even mention he was the owner until he completed all the work, he was humble, knowledgeable and hard working and he took a lot of time to ensure everything was running properly. The next week the maintenance was scheduled and performed, additionally Michael removed loose metal from the inside unit and secured the thermostat, and just like the owner, humble, knowledgeable and hard working. The interaction with each employee/owner of the company has been outstanding, from my first call with Joey the after hours technician, to the office staff Cathy and Juliette (Dennis lovely wife), to Dennis and Michael, each one individually were top notch professionals, it was refreshing to have genuine people that seemed to care sincerely about every step of the process, and their client. This is the old school type of service that is very rare to find now and combined with the most modern training and technology resulting in an outstanding staff, you can not go wrong with Cuestas.

Our AC went out at 7pm on a Tuesday night and I called Cuestas and they were at our house in 30 minutes. The gentleman that came out was very friendly and professional. The prices were affordable and he made sure we were 100% happy and our house was nice and cool before he left. I will definitely be using them again in the future and will highly recommend them to my friends and family.
Dennis is very prompt and reliable. Our air conditioner broke down on a Saturday night, he came out Sunday and had a new unit installed first thing Monday morning. He was also very helpful in assisting us in finding other quality tradesman who were also very prompt. Do not have any concerns using Cuestas.

The young man that came out from Cuestas showed great customer service starting with the initial phone call. He arrived quickly diagnosed the issue with our system ( low Freon) due to a leak. He explained how much was needed, the cost and what our next step should be. This was a weekend call and everyone else I reached out to had ridiculously high rates. I will definitely use them again.

After 12 years, our upstairs unit finally gave out. Cuestas came quickly and got it working on life support until they could come back the following week and install a new unit. Call out yesterday for a bad blower motor and the technician recommended replacement of entire system after speaking with the office or $1500 for a new motor which they did not have in stock. I got a replacement module for the motor for $120 today from an honest HVAC repairman installed it myself and am back cooling as we speak. Would not trust them for repair work they may do good installation work but we will not be finding out for ourselves.
We have worked with several companies but Cuestas A/C tops all..They provide through service, do not care how much time they spend even when it is a contacted price work. They finish the work until we are satisfied. We now use Cuestass for our 3 businesses,, two homes. We have recommended them to several others and every one has actually Thanked us for recommending Cuestas. We would never use any other company if they continue to work the way they work now. The price is always reasonable even if it is an emergency work.

Mr. Cuesta replaced my unit a few months ago and has been nothing short of exemplary he was professional, friendly, patient and knowledgeable.He fully explained my options and went over the pros and cons of each in an understandable and detailed way. I currently work at this company and I have seen first hand the honesty and quality of work this company provides. I once made the mistake of overcharging a customer by $15.00. The owner personally called the customer and said they had that credit with the company. Most companies would have let that slide, Cuestas air conditioning did not.
Tech poured water down my pipe from second floor ended up leaking through ceiling due to busted drain pan. Since it was Friday I was told to open the windows because he had to pickup steaks from Winn Dixie keep in mind this was the 5th time they came to my house the technician chris is the best one they have. Later today I get a call from Dennis the supervisor stating that the issue wasn’t there fault bs he forgot the I paid for two maintenance inspections. I guess that was an oversight. All in all save your money. The issue just got fixed thanks for nothing cuestas

Called the original company that installed a new Lennox system in my home 2 yrs ago and they said they no longer service my zip codethey recommended Cuestas air and i called with my issue at 4:30 on a Friday evening, they said they were booked till Tuesday of the following week but because my a c was down and not working at all they, would see what they could do.By 6 pm a service tech was at my home confirming the diagnosis and arranging my replacement for later that evening. By 8:30 i had a new blower motor installed and my home was cooling down. the warranty took care of the motor and i paid the labor only, just as the Lennox warranty states. I will use them again in the future if further work is required and if asked i will refer anyone to them in the area. Great service! Thank you!
Everything was good until they came to my home for the yearly maintenance, Casey probably left a screw loose and there is a noise now. I called immediately after about the noise and they want to charge an $80 fee to come and fix it. They dont want to take responsibility for their actions.

2022-01-17Cuestas is an excellent company to handle your air conditioning needs. Every employee you deal with from the beginning with your initial call, the service team and the owner Dennis are professional, responsive and trustworthy. When are our AC was not working properly the technician explained our options and gave us the price for repair or replace. We did not feel pressured in what our decision should be. Our questions were answered in a manner we understood. We decided to replace our unit. The price was reasonable, the installation was done timely and with expertise. At completion, Dennis, the owner, came to inspect the work. He makes you feel like a valued customer. We have been using this company for 2 years and will continue to be a customer.

2022-08-05Had a service call several days ago. The problem persisted after the tech left, it wasn’t repaired. We called back this morning again, the kitchen was 86 degrees. Andre, a trouble shooter/ supervisor came out. He spent A LOT of time here, calling the prior tech to ask various questions etc. He eventually, after analyzing the various aspects of the I ssue, was able to fix it. Truly a top notch, professional individual in Andre. Andre is an asset to the company akin to a conductor of a symphony who can also play every instrument. I am a business owner for 44+ years and counting. I wish I had all employees that performed as Andre did. You have a winner in Andre, Dennis. Keep him!!!! When I asked what we owed him he said you paid for a job already, no need to pay again to get it right. 2022-04-27Cuestas Air Conditioning did a great job removing my worn-out Trane system and replacing it with a brand new one. The installers, Gabriel and Mario, were professional and answered all of my questions. Equally as important, they left the place spotless.Two weeks later, Andre performed a follow-up visit to drop off the service manual, the warranty info, and to ensure the system was installed and operating properly. Dennis Cuesta came by two weeks later to drop off the permit and performed what I would consider a final QA of the work.From start to finish, everyone, including the office staff, delivered top-quality customer service. You can tell they take great pride in their work and it shows.I highly recommend Cuestas Air Conditioning.

2022-07-07We had a late night AC issue and called Cuestas in hopes of finding a capacitor on extremely short notice. I spoke to their answering service who was very nice and was called literally within a minute by one of Cuestas service technicians, Aaron. He was SO helpful and was more than willing to go out of his way to help us get to a quick remedy before our house became a sauna. We will definitely be saving their number and using them for future AC needs. Thank you so much, Aaron!!

2022-05-02Dennis came out in the middle of the night to unclog the drain and get my ac working again. I have been with cuestas since I bought my house. They installed my ac 3 years ago. He is the best and I wouldnt use any other company.
