2022-07-27I had the opportunity to work as the sellers agent in a transaction with Lauren Krawczyk and Alicia Warburton, and they were amazing. They both were truly first class professionals, and I was grateful to be involved with them. Their communication was always quick and courteous, they handled things fast, and even helped during the transaction when our family went through a tough time. They are highly recommended.

2021-06-02We hired a realtor Gene Zemel to sell our house through Douglas Elliman. He showed huge incompetence throughout the process, starting from suggesting an undervalued price after running comps. Then delaying listing for two months, and then acting as dual agent tried to scam us for $16k by hiring an attorney behind our back but on our behalf and tried to get a contract going at a price $16k below what he told us. When confronted, he just cancelled the sale and told the buyer we are not going with them.Additionally, he and his family also rents the property we are selling, and when after numerous requests and struggles, Douglas Elliman finally terminated our contract on our request. Initially to get local exposure he offered to sell our house and waive his commissions, but the story quickly changed when we found the buyer. He now refuses to let anyone inside the house for showings, emotions gave away and he is doing as much dirt as possible. Just a horrible person who is yet to find out what karma is. We have a buyer who showed negative Covid-19 test results, he now refuses to let anyone in until his lease expires.I would stay away from this company, and Gene Zemel in general due to his shady practice.He should have his realtors license revoked.After reading some reviews for Douglas Elliman, I see that this is their norm. Most if not all their realtors act like they are above all, must be some criteria to be hired.

2018-08-28My husband and I have known Jennifer Burke on a personal level for several years. However, we recently had the opportunity to engage Jennifer as our realtor for both the sale of our previous home and the purchase of our existing home. We cannot say enough regarding Jennifer’s honesty, professionalism, and follow through. From the moment we began the process of selling our home, Jennifer was in constant communication, keeping us informed about each development in the process. When we asked for her advice, she was honest about what she thought we should do, and her suggestions proved to be spot on each and every time. She kept us from being both too timid and too aggressive. She was also very patient, taking us to look at a number of houses several times each during our search for a new home. When we learned of the home we ultimately ended up purchasing, she kept our expectations realistic and ultimately made the process of purchasing our new home as efficient and as pleasant as possible. On a related note, one of the qualities we appreciated the most about Jennifer is how genuine she is. She is a pleasure to work with while providing honest feedback and suggestions rather than simply what we want to hear. We feel Jennifer is an excellent real estate agent and a genuinely good person.

2017-12-08I recently worked with Keri Thigpen of The Strickland Property Group in real estate. Truly a positive experience overall. Keri was very thorough and professional while still truly caring about what my current situation involved and what my needs were because of that. She went above and beyond to help me every step of the way and she became a friend as well as my real estate agent. The most impressive thing to me was how Keri would track down an answer to my question and report back to me so promptly. She was incredibly attentive to details and communication was excellent. We found the perfect place the first day because she listened to my needs and wants and she narrowed down my choices expertly. She worked very well with the sellers agent and very professionally but personally got the job done. I couldnt be happier and would highly recommend and use Strickland Property Group and Keri Thigpen again if the need should ever arise.

2017-11-10During our initial visit to Saint Petersburg we had the pleasure to meet Bonnie Strickland and Keri Thigpen of the Strickland Property Group, both of whom spent a considerable amount of time to getting to know my wife and I and our long list of needs without ever pressuring us to use their services. They immediately stood out as having the best market knowledge and a most professional and personable approach to our search.After considering many properties and meeting many brokers to the point of exhaustion, we came to rely on Bonnie. Her team put together a deal that let us eventually visit the house of our dreams, just hours before our return flight to Virginia.Their subsequent work in getting the house quickly under contract and managing the stringent due diligence moved the deal forward very quickly while pushing every obstacle aside until closing. Even after closing Keri helped us in every way to help us adjust to our new life in Saint Petersburg, with assistance for everything we needed to make a smooth transition into our new life in this area.
