All the staff are very nice and helpful! Dr. Kronlage is excellent. Ive had two procedures so far and he has you in and out , would highly recommend!!
Everyone is friendly and they all take the time to be there in the moment. They explain everything to you about your care and surgery possibilities. Very flexible in scheduling as well. Dr. Kronlage has been my hand specialist for years. He and his staff are very professional and have been so helpful scheduling my appointments around my busy schedule.
Dr. Kronlage was very informative and forthcoming. The staff was also very caring, professional and Insightful, Dr. Kronlage wanted bilateral braces applied to my thumbs and his assistant noticed that my hands were to small for the smallest braces they had so she waited for the doctor who told her and I that they would have to costume fit them to my hands. The only downfall was that I hadnt heard from the Therapist for the fitting and when I called they said they hadnt received an order that she had to go back into his notes on me to find that he did indeed order them. I have to say, now Im concerned if the order for my nerve conduction study has been sent or if its gotten lost as well.

Dr Kronloge’s office was a well oiled machine for first time patients. If you are elderly and have trouble with digital check in’s, you should be accompanied by a friend or family member to help you. Everyone there was kind and helpful.

He is wonderful, his staff are wonderful. He took care of my problem that I came in with and he was so sweet, I have hearing problems and he made sure that good staff one and they treated me with kindness and respect. He also explained about a previous problem that cant be fixed sadly, But he told me not to let them do anymore test bc they have tourchered me enough over the past 30 years and if as doctor insisted on test for me then to call him! No doctor has ever been so nice out was great to be talked to as a person and not being told it was all in my head. Thank you. I highly recommend him .

Where to begin & what not to say that is, also, super positive!My Nov 29, 2021 story: ER visit onNov 26 wrist reset & surgery DX necessity at Gulf Breeze Hosp. Bad wrist break & in horrific pain! I called & was informed Dr. was fully booked but was schd same day w/Charles, PA. Charles is Dr. K long term knowledeable PA team member. Charles, med assist & Rns wobderful & caring team removed ER cast & took xrays. Surprised, Dr. Kronlage walks in & stated bad wrist break. Dr. requested surgery scheduler to schedule my surgery very next day. Over heard Dr. was booked out. Dr. got me schd & added me in on his booked out day for surgery. Dr. Kronlage is a Heartful Soul, indeed! Next I knew I was scheduled for very next day surgery. My postop wrist is in perfect alignment, mending w/plate & growing new bone replacement now. I am in great mindful hands & now 5 wks post op mending w/the great, Dr. Kronlage. Office staff are a remarkable 5 star, warm team of attentive & caring souls! As others have stated here, Dr. Kronlage is an expert in his field. While he wastes no time getting to the root of ones issue, he remains personable and jovial throughout ones visit. He explains everything thoroughly and clearly, as well. I am going to require surgery for Thumb CMC Joint arthritis and have no doubt that Dr. Kronlage is the right surgeon for the job! I am confident that he will have my thumb/wrist pain-free and fully functioning, afterward. His staff is very pleasant and efficient, as well, calling the day after my OV to check on me. The assistant at the front desk, I hate I didn’t get her name, (voice is very clear and precise) the time I was there through the kiosk, to my little wait time, to when I checked out, was super helpful to everyone that went to the window, patient with all, from the man that had a bill that thought insurance paid it, she explained to him beautifully, to the lady with no email, I hope the doctors know what a gold mine they have in her. I hope she is getting paid her worth! (Really hate I didn’t get her name!)
Almost a year since Kronlage cut into my arm. I had to have a second surgery to re-explore what he did with another surgeon because it never healed. Kronlage was the most dismissive element Ive ever encountered. 36 years old, I dont think my arm will ever be the same. I dont think he should have ever did the surgery on my arm. If he does do surgery on you and something doesnt feel right he is the last person you want to turn to.Your team does not return phone calls. What has been done to me and others is criminal. I cant work out. I cant wake up feeling okay. The whole left side of my body has been sabotaged by Kronlage deciding to make my arm a paycheck 2 years ago. I truly hope his negligence is brought to light
I loved Dr. Kronlage. He is super personable but most importantly he is on his medical game. I highly recommend him. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with Andrews Institute check in not sharing all the information you enter with like PT at the same place. Annoying having to fill out all the same exact information within the same system.
Office visit was on time and courteous. I have used Dr Kronledge in the past for an elbow repair and now for carpal tunnel. I anticipate good results.

After visiting 6 Orthopedic doctors prior to Dr. Kronlage, and all of them saying nothing was wrong, I finally saw a Dr. who knew what he was doing! Not only did he immediately see the multitude of issues but he knew that the only way to resolve the issues with both my wrists is going to be surgery. Amazing enough, for being a new patient, the entire team got me through the whole process very quickly and easily! Dr. Kronlage came very HIGHLY recommended and I understand why! Dr Kronlage operated on my wrist four years ago. I broke a bone in my hand on Tuesday, called his office and was seen Wednesday morning. Surgery is scheduled next week because of Christmas. I appreciate him seeing me so soon.

Dr. Kronlage is a very knowledgeable, caring hand and elbow orthopedic surgeon specialist who has cared for my complicated elbow replacement, shredded tricep, trigger fingers, and possible carpal tunnel for over 5 years. He expertly treated me when I needed care, working in conjunction with a surgeon at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. His honesty is reassuring as he will tell you exactly what you are dealing with and what to expect.
This was the first time I saw Dr Kronlage. The automated check in was easy and quick. I didnt have to wait long before being called back. The office staff was friendly and efficient, and they quickly got my xrays taken and back to the exam room. Dr. Kronlage came in shortly after and answered all my questions. It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend Dr. Kronlage.

Dr. Kronlage is a young man (Im 71), but he was direct and still positive about the increase of my arthritis. Between the time I made the appointment and the visit, my swelling had gone down. So I kept the appointment. I needed to review the expectations of the future and he was frank and clear. He did look at my hand and reviewed the chart on the computer, but this was a quick visit. He was nice NOT to say, Youre wasting my time, come back when youre really injured. The internet gives out tons of information, but being new to the aging process, I needed to hear my questions answered from a human. I would recommend him and when needed, Ill return to his care. Helpful and to the point. The dr only spent about 8min with me and went over x-rays and suggested more test and a brace. To the point and straight forward. No beating around the bush. The wait time was a little long. The office was busy. Friendly staff. And friendly dr. I would recommend.
Dr. Kronlage is the best! His PA and office staff are really good and very courteous.I was impressed by the new patient check-in kiosk...very easy! I never have to wait more than 10-15 minutes for my appointment, and thats unusual nowadays. If you choose him as your specialist, you wont be disappointed. 😊
My entire experience from start to finish was perfect! I had been dealing with an injury for quite some time, and I knew after my first visit with Dr. Kronlage that he would be able to find a solution for me. Initially we began with a conservative approach, but after not seeing results, I was scheduled for surgery. I had a great experience from the time I approached the front door and asked the very nice parking attendants outside for directions on where to go. I then entered the doors to the very pleasant and happy men checking temperatures that gave me directions again. 🙄 When I got to the reception area I was glad that I came early because there was a LOT of info to fill out and the receptionist was very sweet and offered to help in anything I may need. I got called back as soon as I finished paperwork and had an awesome experience with Grace and Stephanie as they put up with me. My first meeting with Dr Kronlage was good as well. It was like talking to a family member and he made me laugh (not sure he meant to). Except when he told me that what ails me is age related. 🙉 He gave me print outs of important information that he answered but knew I would probably need to ask again. 😏 So I’ll quit yapping for now and let ya know how it was after my treatment. Thank You to everyone at Andrews and Dr Kronlage’s office for making my first visit a great one when things everywhere else in the world are not so great. ❤️
When I called to make an appointment in the Gulf Breeze office I was able to get in two days later to see Dr Kronlage. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. They didnt have a cold attitude it was very warm and inviting. I had to get X-rays and that was an extremely positive experience as well. I had to schedule a minor procedure with Dr Kronlage and was able to get it scheduled with in a week of my visit. Dr. Kronlage himself is warm and hospitable. I have anxiety issues and he is able to put my anxieties to rest easily. I really love him as one of my doctors. I had to see Dr Kronlage two years ago for a separate medical issue and I had the same experience then as I did this time. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Kronlage to anyone considering going to see him.

Dr. Kronlage did the CMC joint arthroplasty on my right thumb in 2014 and I am very pleased with the result. I recently went to see him about the same procedure on my left thumb.
Check in at the kiosk was efficient and user friendly. Wait time was a bit longer this time, but acceptable. Wait time in exam room very short, Kronledge even cracked a smile at my Donald Duck t shirt! I was still very sore, but her grabbed my finger and told me I was healing up nicely. Ouch!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the results from two hand surgeries performed by Dr. Steven Kronlage. He discussed treatment, therapy, and progress during each visit. He listened to my issues and concerns and gave me a better understanding of what I needed to do to bring about healing. Dr Steve Kronlage, i had a telemed meeting.. Dr Kronlage was very understanding to my problem. He gave me some hope. Recently visited Dr. Kronlages office for consultation regarding several problems. I am a returning patient, having had ulnar and carpal surgery years ago. I received an appointment without having to wait an lengthy period of time. Office staff were very kind, caring and responsive to issues I then had with referrals to other physicians following my initial visit to Dr. Ks office. They followed up with me to be sure I had received calls/appointments with referred physicians and were instrumental in my continuing care. Great doc, great staff!
Dr. Kronlage has been my hand doctor for 6 years. He has operated on my hands for 3 separate surgeries. He is compassionate, but serious. He has a no nonsense approach to his decisions. The entire staff is very welcoming. Every visit was informal and precise. Dr. Kronlage is an awesome doctor whom seemed to have cared about my daughters injury. We were instructed promptly with what need to be done to correct her injury. She is now completely healed and is continuing her normal activity. I would recommend him to anyone. Saw Dr. Kronlage for a ring finger issue. He diagnosed the issue very quickly. he also provided me some physical recommendations that I could do to relieve my pain without surgery, and then discussed surgical options, down time and benefits of both. I very much appreciated having both options presented to me in simple terms without any pressure to chose either. Definitely a great Doctor who listens to the patient.Surgery was completed and I now have full usage of my finger. Excellent surgeon and to say I’m satisfied does not come close to my experience. It is way more than that.

Recently, my son, my elderly mother and I have all needed wrist and hand evaluations and treatment, including 3 minor surgeries. All facets of Dr Kronlages practice were excellent including proper diagnosis, treatment (and non treatment), surgery, scheduling, appointment promptness, follow up, and rapport with patients of all ages. Surgery outcomes were excellent.

We never wait long for an appointment time and with the x-ray and cast rooms being in the same area as the patient exam rooms it is a quick efficient process. Dr. Kronlage took great care of me and was easy to discuss issues with and well as listening to your side of issues. Dr. K takes into account all aspects of your health before moving directly to surgical options. The major plus with his office and himself is they are quick to process you at check-in/out and you are not in the waiting room or patient rooms for long periods of time. They were amazing quick, to the point. He explained things well, friendly. I had so many drs brush me off, but he listened and figured out what was wrong. Then fixed it without having to wait weeks. I loved the care. I received from Dr.Kronlage and his team. They were very nice, warm and caring. I was released 7 months after my accident. Sometime later I began having trouble with my wrist and I felt as though he just blew me off. Dont know what the deal was with this. Otherwise, I would see definitely let him treat me again.

I saw Dr. Kronlage at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze. I signed In & was called back within 15min & at a specialist thats dang good. He is a very easy guy to talk with about whatever problem youre having. All of his staff were very nice & willing to work with you to resolve any issues you have. My only issue was scheduling a appointment on a certain day at a certain time & they took care of that for me. I got to go back for a follow-up & test, but I rest easy knowing whatever i get done Im in good hands!!!!
Dr. Kronlage and his entire staff are the most wonderful people I have had the experience of coming in contact. My injury and trying to get Workers Compensation to take action in getting me the appropriate care in a timely manner has been a nightmare. After waiting for almost 6 weeks with a fracture he and his staff were very caring and showed great compassion.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of all the staff ad Dr Kronlage! I am a hard stick for an IV and Tracey was able to get the IV the first time. Anesthesia was great; just had the monitored anesthesia without intubation which was a blessing! I felt prepared to go home as the discharge instructions were explained several times. Dr. Kronlage conducted carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand at Gulf Breeze Andrews Institute just over a week ago. The effects are already better, and with a concise incision, very minimal recovery time. I went to work just two days after the procedure. Im already sleeping better without the pain and numbness I had prior to the surgery. Hes definitely the pro at this procedure and Im grateful hes in our area. Thanks to him and his team.

The doctor made me feel like I was lying about my condition. If they will go back and look at the paperwork regarding current pain that you fill out at each visit he will notice the numbness constantly mentioned!!

Dr. Kronalge took the time to fully explain the injury, the surgery, and the (tough) recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Kronlage, and would not hesitate to send my family and friends to him.
I was so scared to have carpal tunnel surgery that I have suffered for years. Finally I lost feeling in both hands and was scared the damage was permanent. Dr. Kronlage did the surgery. Instead of being put too sleep, I chose to have local. It took him less than 6 minutes, to scrape out the muscle that was pinching the nerve and I didnt have to deal with the hangover from the anesthesia. The operating staff and the office staff were friendly and efficient. Billing was good too!. Wish I would have done it years ago but Im glad that I waited until I i found Dr. Kronlage. He was remarkable. - and feeling is back in both hands!!!

Doctor Kronlage is one of the best doctors I have EVER been to! He has performed carpal tunnel surgery, trigger finger release on multiple fingers, and corrected/fixed a broken wrist. All with excellent results. He is an expert and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of issues dealing with your hands and arms. As a surgeon he is as experienced as one would expect and deserve. He is very personable and cares about your condition. I would, and do, highly recommend him to family, friends and anyone needing hand surgery...he is top notch!Update....Doctor Kronlage just took care of another trigger finger. Fantastic experience for my active child. Didn’t need surgery for a badly broken wrist. The care, attention and concern received by Dr. Kronlage and his team was top notch wouldn’t dream of going any other place for our broken bones. Highly recommend this office!
I had carpal tunnel & trigger finger release on July 20, 2018. I have 2 small incisions & I am doing very well from the surgery. Dr. Kronlage is a true professsional & a very caring surgeon! I highly recommend him!
I had a serious injury to my wrist after an auto accident. Another doctor misdiagnosed it, I received a second opinion from Dr Kronlage. He identified the issue and quickly had my surgery scheduled. Due to the severity of the injury I had to have a PRC performed. Dr Kronlage and his staff were wonderful through the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone and would go back myself if I ever have a need.

I fell and damaged my elbow in December. After an ex-ray it was determined I had not broken my elbow by my GP. Several months of pain later my GP sent me to Dr. Kronlage. After a couple of weeks of treatment based on the ex-rays originally taken he saw that my elbow was not healing and took an ex ray in his office. Based on that ex ray he ordered a MRI with injected dye. It turns out that I had a broken elbow and a ruptured triceps as well as an aggressive antibiotic resistant bacteria in the bone. He did emergency surgery, repaired the damage and removed infected tissue. Even though the surgery was done on Friday he was at the hospital everyday, including the weekend until I was dismissed. He also worked closely with the infectious disease doctor with my IV treatments over a 2 month period to eradicate the bacteria. Without his quick response I could have lost my arm or worse. He and each of his office staff are caring professionals, and some of the most effective people Ive seen in a physicians office. He knows his job and he does it very well.
Dr. Kronlage and staff are a great practice. Professional, caring and friendly. He diagnosed my problem and literally helped me to save the use of my finger by getting me into physical therapy. It’s been a year and I still can’t wear my wedding ring but at least I can use it again. Thank you, Dr. Kronlage.

The staff was very friendly. Patient check-in was a fun experience using a tablet instead of paper and pen. Dr. Kronlage and Dr. Charles were very cordial and expertly knowledgeable of their field of practice. Not one minute of my time was wasted and left the office feeling that I was in the best of care. There are restrooms and snack machines located nearby and the office was easy to locate on the 2nd floor.
I saw Dr Kronlage for carpal tunnel symptoms in my hand. He took the time to explain the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and non- surgical treatment. I went with the more conservative approach - and now 6 weeks later - I’m pretty much symptom free. Thank you Dr Kronlage and staff. Base of my thumb pain and weakness had been debilitating for several months, and painful for several years. Physical therapy over two years ago gave relief for that afternoon only, and a little after wearing a comfortable custom made splint that i wear most overnights. My appointment with Dr Kronlage was an evaluation, Xrays (quickly in his office), and an injection into the joint which was uncomfortable, but only slightly painful. The injection area was achy and throbbed intermittently for the next 3 days. By then the pain in my thumb was gone and still is, 3 weeks out unless I overdue it by gripping with very firm twisting motion like opening a jar of salsa. I still cant open it, but tried, and it felt like the joint shifted out of place momentarily. I wont try that again! Before the injection I couldnt even grip a plate from the dishwasher and get it into the cabinet without pain and dropping it. I am very satisfied.Years ago I had injections at an urgent care twice which gave less than a week of relief and were painful. Definitely a world of difference having Dr Kronlage, an orthopedic hand specialist do the treatment. Surgery may be in the future. I feel perfectly comfortable following up with his office for future treatment, whatever happens, and will not go months without relief again.
Dr. Kronlage is a gifted surgeon who has operated on both hands, to do soft tissue releases....2 surgeries down, and one more to go...as of now. It was quick and painless, healed well, and we are back to normal! That man knows his medicine, so, yes....we will get the DOC to unlock the 3rd digit as well....Thanks Dr. Kronlage!!!

Morgan, my daughter had nothing but positive comments to say when she and my husband returned from her doctors appointment with Dr. Kronlage. She has been diagnosed with Kienbocks Disease in her left wrist. We have been told that this is extremely rare for a girl so young. She has been to three different orthopedic doctors who put braces and a cast on her arm. Several MRIs do show changes in her bone each time. She complains of pain in her wrist constantly. She says she doesnt want to have pain and a weak wrist in her arm all the time. Dr. Kronlage listened to my daughter and made hopeful statements about surgeries that have corrected this issue. Morgan has researched and read about procedures herself and has heard of corrections being made. She has a MRI scheduled in a few weeks and hopefully Dr. Kronlage can give us better options than just to live with it. My daughter was very active in basketball and had to quit it. She is currently doing marching band but even that is a strain on her wrist. I am only giving three stars and hopefully the other two can be given after we get some relief and a resolution to my daughters painful wrist condition. Thank you for your time.

I suffered a significant wound to my right long finger that required a skin graph. I called his office on Monday Morning and was in a few hours later. It was decided I needed a full thickness skin graph and I was I. Surgery 2 days later. The procedure went perfect and the after care is top notch.I will forever be in his debt for the work he did. I would not entertain seeing any other doctor in the future.

Overall the experience was professional and I was pleased with the modern computers used to submit my initial paperwork (very private). Although I didn’t see Dr. Kronlage the physician assistant conducted a thorough examination.
Wonderful doctor and staff. They are always happy to see you. He has preformed surgery on my shoulder and one of my fingers and I have full use of both. Its like my accidents didnt happen.
My wife went here for a workers comp injury. She was told she needed surgery.The surgery was scheduled. After everything was said and done the surgery was denied by workers comp due to some form he filled out. If he didnt feel the surgery was necessary to start with, then why did he schedule the surgery? We feel he was pressured to change his mind. My wife lives in pain every day now. To get her injury fixed will require us to find another doctor and pay for it with her own insurance and money. She lives in pain every day because of an injury that happened at work that should have been covered by workers comp. insurance.
Dr. Kronlange listens. His patient communication is warm and friendly, but at the same time, very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone seeking help with arthritic hands, or painful problems with hands and wrists.

Treated my wife with respect after a very traumatizing fracture due to medical mishanding at Sacred Heart. She had lost hope with doctors. His staff and he gave her redeemed trust. She is in pain and his casting tech was awesome. Helped her so much for a tricky scaphoid fracture. Great doctor. We know this will take a long time to heal and hope she can play classical piano again in the next many months. The injury was traumatic and she was brutalized but your care and light-hearted bed side manner has been good for her fracture and heart.

I prefer them to anybody. As well the x-ray techs the cat stand people and everybody in the office give you superior service.

2022-07-21Due to an impending vacation I had to get in with an orthopedic asap to look at a fracture. Except for a zillion questions concerning health history, Family history, insurance, etc., I found the visit to be pleasant and informative. Both Stephanies were super nice and doctor Kronlage himself was knowledgeable and kind. They are trying to work with me in caring for my fracture without canceling My trip.

2022-03-11I had been seeing a different doc in the Pensacola area and wasn’t really getting anywhere with my painful arthritic thumbs. My daughter who worked at Andrews said you need to see Dr. Kronlage so I made an appointment I was amazed at how quickly I got an appointment. The first thing that was done were X-ray’s you could see they had completely fallen off the bone. Dr. K. Explained what he would doIm so excited to be out of pain.His staff is so GREAT HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY

2022-05-29I have been extremely pleased start to finish with everyone that I have dealt with . I would not go anywhere else. I had surgery yesterday morning and so far very very little pain or soreness. Almost none. It was my 1st ever surgery so I was a little nervous but it went even better than I could have possibly expected.
