The staff at East Bay Insurance are wonderful. I have had to contact them at least 3 times regarding my parents insurance. Each time they have been professional, understanding, helpful and kind. If they need to call you back with information or an answer......they do! I cannot say enough great things about them.

I just returned from a meeting with Elizabeth at East Bay Insurance.I wanted to review several policies that were up for renewal.I have been dealing with East Bay Insurance for over 25 years. Always found the best insurance products with Elizabeth as well as the very best customer service and premiums.Everyone that I have recommended to EBI has been very pleased as well.The most important factor that I need in an insurance agent is knowing that when I need to make a claim that the agent will follow through to completion and a satisfactory resolution. I was referred to East Bay by a friend who is a long-time customer of what she described as a service-oriented family business that works with multiple insurers. Late Friday afternoon, I talked with Torie about homeowners insurance; she took all of my information, asked all the right questions, answered most of my questions, and offered to do some follow-up research on those last few items. By Monday, I had a follow-up call with Lisa (second-generation owner of the company). We reviewed all of Tories research and recommendations. Lisa answered some additional questions, made a quick call to the insurer that they recommended for me, and we were able to finalize a policy that day. Both Torie and Lisa were very knowledgeable, very professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

One of East Bays clients hit my car in a parking lot. The owner of East Bay. Liz, was aware and on top of the claim the same day they were contacted by their client. She followed up with me to be sure everything was going smoothly. Appraiser was out in 24 hours and adjuster approved claim the same today. Today my car came back from the body shop good as new. Excellent service!!!
Did a quick google search for local insurance agencies because I felt I was paying way more than I should be. Boy was I right in choosing these guys. When I called I was put in touch with Lisa who just over the phone was able to get me a discount. Well when I went in this morning (late mind you and with a friend who she didnt plan on seeing) she managed to save me even more than discussed earlier (Nearly $100.00 less). And was more than accommodating to my friend who we also got a policy for saving him nearly $200.00 from what the big names were quoting him.Cant thank you enough for your hard work and dedication. For those of you who have read reviews on East Bay. You may notice, like I did, that they mention Lisa in the majority of the reviews. When you call and ask for Lisa, you get the run around, and shockingly a bit of attitude. When you visit the office and ask for Lisa, you may be surprised and perhaps completely stunned by the rude response. I found out Lisa opened a business of her own, in Apollo Beach. It is called Iron Rock.I would not recommend going to East Bay, it is unfortunate; however, it looks like they lost their star player and their main form of professionalism and customer service when they let this one get away.I noticed a response from a man, whom I have not met or heard of before. I think he meant to leave it for someone else. He seems to be someone from East Bay; and he is calling me a womans name. The unprofessionalism continues.A proper response to me would be greatly appreciated vs this Mrs. whom you seem to have wanted to respond to -with a highly inappropiate and direspectful attitude it would seem. Looking for insurance? No better company than East Bay Insurance. Staff is friendly and helpful, and prices are very competitive. Another plus, they have been around for years and are not going any where. You have local people to deal with not someone on the phone youll never meet. You can ACTUALLY go see them in person. That is a DEF plus in this electronic age.
Buying a house can be a tedious experience, especially all the paperwork that follows. But I can tell you Lisa and the gang did a great job making things easy and clear for me to understand. I would definitely recommend them to anybody!

Worst customer service experience ever. I had a complaint and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was passed along to the owner of the office which appeared to be the CSR mother. Mother/owner of the company was just as rude if not worse than daughter (I assume it was her daughter) would not recommend

2022-07-07Ive been with East Bay insurance for several years now. They were able to get me the best rate for home and flood. A couple years ago I spoke with a financial advisor, one of the many things they checked was insurance rates and they were still the best. Also, anytime Ive ran into issues with the mortgage company saying they were missing something with insurance Ive been able to send a picture of the letter from the mortgage company to East Bay and theyve taken care of it immediately. Recently the mortgage company was mentioning I didnt have flood insurance and East Bay resent them the proof and called them and spoke with them to make sure that a fee the mortgage company was trying to charge as a result was eliminated. Anyways, happy to be with East Bay. Theres been some increases over time in cost but never unreasonable like Ive been hearing from so many other people and I have never lost insurance like Ive heard happening to others
