When I grow up, I want to own a place just like this, but I better win the lottery first because I will want to keep everything. If youre into furniture flipping, they have the full line of General Finishes products and Annie Sloan chalk paint. Also, an interesting selection of inexpensive.drawer pulls. You never know what you will find. Their prices arent the best -- our architectural salvage places up north have better prices, but if youre dealing with an old house and need random old stuff, they come in handy...
Amazing place. Architectural salvage, furniture, bathroom fixtures, lighting, toys, furniture, wood flooring, exotic woods, hardware it goes on and on as you loose yourself in the warehouse aisles. Also a workshop for custom made pieces. Then you find out there is more outside.
Excellent. Eddy, Rebecca, John C and Mark were very friendly and helpful. They worked hard for me to find, retrieve, let, deliver and pick-up items needed for a production and I greatly appreciate it.It is truly a warehouse full of anything and (just about) everything related to the interior and exterior of any given structure.Where else in Jacksonville can you find your very own 1000 pound, coin operated foot messager?!?!?
Absolutely the best place in town to find anything the vintage whether its live-edge wood or old chairs or really anything that you can think of you need to stop by and check it out this place is amazing and the owner and everybody in the place is amazing as well check out these chairs that I saw Im going to go back and pick him up or somewhere when I have money
My first time today, visiting this AMAZING place! Wandered around for hours and couldnt take it all in. ! What A feast for the eyes, and mind!!! My partner Jon , and I had a wonderful time with a very cool private tour with Cristy! AND we got to meet her billy goat! ( If you go, make sure that you take him a treat!) It would take a week to see this place in its entirety! I want a job here! !!!!!!!!!!YUM!
So, its 1:30 on a Saturday when I tell my wife that Im going to check this place out in Jacksonville -- Cut to: Its now 6:00 and Im engulfed; somewhere deep inside. Im holding on to pieces of perfectly rusted scrolled iron and eyeballing an old Ionic order column 600 ft. from me... Theyre closed. Im hungry. I have to use the bathroom. I still cant leave!Tell my wife and children that I love them and will miss them. Im squatting in their tiny house for as long as I possibly can.
Whats not to like about Eco Relics? First off, they are saving our past and history. My trip yesterday reinforced what a gem this place is. Old lumber to old furniture coupled with new mosiac tiles, you can find anything here. Including a great photo op. Highly recommend this place. Great knowledgeable and helpful staff.
If youre into old furniture, knick knacks, fixtures, windows, decor and basically all things interesting, then this is the place for you. I could spend hours here. It is packed with stuff, but it is mostly unique items, plus other helpful items for projects around your house (tile, pulls, doorknobs, hinges, etc.). I am just joyful that I found it and that I live down the road 😀. It just makes me happy.
This place was very cool I love antiques and there are plenty of nice antique furniture and collectibles for sale. And seeing all the old salvaged doors and windows was very cool. They also have tons of hardware for sale. Definitely will go again when I have more time to explore.
I always love coming here to browse. I have an older home and this is a wonderful place to get little things to keep the old fashioned charm. There are aisles and aisles of products. Antiques, but also segmented into categories for easy browsing. From small electrical components to ice skates, they have it all. I love looking at all the old doors. Some are so beautiful and ornate, youd need to build a house around the door, but Im happy they live on to one day be that.
Best place and customer service in assisting on DIY projects. Ask for Nate (red beard) he will do all he can, and/or find some one who knows more about a subject to make sure you walk away with ideas to make your project unique! CUSTOM Baby Food Pantry built from old bed slats and used drawers with updated hardware. All from Eco Relics.
I have a new favorite store. I could leave it at that. But that is not me. The staff is insanely knowledgeable and super friendly. They have a huge selection of, well, stuff. I went in for the live edge wood selection which was vast. If my wife would have let me, I could have walked away with thousands of dollars of pecan, mahogany, cherry, walnut, etc. Plus they have all the other cool stuff like old slot machines, desks, doors, basically anything. I love this place.
Lots of cool but overpriced stuff. Some beautiful finds, for sure. The staff is generally very friendly, but twice weve asked questions of the men at the custom wood working area and both times they were very dismissive. The last time we were there...March 2020...he turned his back to us and went back to his computer while we were still talking! Even when you produce beautiful things, its just good business to not alienate potential customers.
Used to be a great place for Osborn legs 50% less than their website... not it’s literally equal the price for seconds. And good luck getting 4 alike. There used to be an entire isle of 4 alike legs... now maybe 3 sets of 4 and 2909 singles. No longer a source for table legs. AND bring your wallet. Prices are outrageous now on everything!
From the minute you walk in, you are in a magical place! Awesome, helpful staff. SO many cool, unique, custom finds. Tile was our 1st purchase. Well be back again and again now that weve found somewhere that can help make our ideas come to life. Budget friendly, fun, helpful staff. Overall, great place to explore and shop.
Nice, actually huge, selection of architectural and home furnishings, vintage fixtures and hard-to-find materials from decades past. A little surprised by their prices though. Expect to pay retail/boutique - not for the bargain hunter. Definitely a place to find the perfect accent/fixture to finish off that retro bathroom or den.. Staff are helpful and available when needed.
Donors, dont expect gratitude, customers, dont expect fair treatment on returns. Today, after being a supporter of this business for years (shopped there, referred folks there [sister spent over $1000 last year], donated cool mid century french door set that I found on the side of the road a few months back to avoid it/them going in the landfill), I took two boxes of vintage household goods, interesting and vintage tile, etc., a pedestal sink (in mint condition, with faucet), and a door in bad condition but with good, 100 year old hardware to donate. Expected nothing in return, even though I estimate there was several hundred dollars in retail value for them. I also took a door that I purchased from them but could not use. Still had their blue tape $85 price tag. Although person (Susan?) at front desk was pretty great, owner acted like she was doing me a favor to help me unload, to agree to take the bad-condition, donation door for its hardware. Then, when I simply asked for store credit for the door I bought from them, she challenged me on whether the big gash that it had on it was there when I bought it and only offered me $20 credit for the door for which I paid $85 plus tax. Wow. Will think long and hard before I shop there again, donate again, or refer others there.
The warehouse is huge, and the staff is very friendly with a good sense of humor. They have just about anything you could ever want lumber wise, with huge slabs of different cuts of trees taking up a good portion of the store. They have lots of old doors, marble counters, bathroom fixtures, and even claw foot bath tubs. docked off a star because the smaller things and trinkets are pretty pricey, and the warehouse is pretty dusty, but its a cool place to wander and check out the old stuff. I would highly recommend if youre looking for somewhere to get nice, huge slabs of lumber from.
Such an awesome place to check out if you love vintage salvage such as doors, mantles, windows, furniture and any thing else you can imagine. It’s like taking a step back in time. Great place if you’re restoring an antique home or renovating a room. We will definitely be back.
I love browsing here. I find that their price and selection on materials are great, but many finished items are a bit pricey. I guess you could say it is a little hit and miss. But, the people are always friendly and it is tons of fun to spend an hour roaming and getting inspired to do your next project.
Great place, you need time to walk through and really look at everything. The people there are are also fantastic. I didn’t know my way around town over there and my phone died. The guy at the front desk took my phone and charged it while I walked ariund. I ended up buying some cool pilasters.
This place pretty much has everything. Antiques, all kinds of tools, new stuff, used stuff, everything! Need a new door, sink, vanity, granite countertop, window, etc? They have it. Prefer used? Probably have something! Need wood? They have enough to build a pirate ship. Maybe two! Want a custom piece of furniture made? Their people can do it. At any rate, this place is definitely worth a look. Prepare to spend over an hour, its a big place.
Definately worthwhile looking around the place. They got everything! But beware... Their main sales seem to be from their woodshop in which they make awesome items. The antiques and rare salvage items which are plentiful on shelves are mainly unpriced and upon inquiry are not for sale but if you press enough they will give you a price 2x its value. Most employees are helpful and friendly but one was very rude and un-approachable. So much for being gracious and friendly to customers... Didnt purchase anything but enjoyed viewing the rarities...
This place is really cool but be prepared to be there all day and walk around a whole lot. They have all kinds of stuff. If you’re crafty and creative you should be able to find something that you’re looking for here. But like I said, make sure you plan to be there for a while as this place is huge. It also gets kind a hot in there during the summer as they do not have air conditioning.
We enjoy this place. Tons too look at so make sure you have wandering time. The pricing is a bit odd, some things were remarkably cheap and others they are extremely proud of, but that just means you need to dig for the deals. Really worth checking this place out. Well be back for sure.
Wow... This place is wonderful. HUUUGGGGEEE selection of vintage things, from coke bottles to doors, furniture, locks, everything. I dealt with Christian, and he was a perfect gentleman. Very helpful and went out of his way to help. I love this place, and the great customer service I received from them. I will definitely be coming back again and again!!!!
The staff is so friendly, Nate & Shannon were AWESOME! Owner..... Not so much. She was so rude! So rude! Her prices are so high. I was inquiring about a vintage lion, asked about price and if it was firm or not she quoted one price and when I told her that her staff quoted another she smugly and rudely stated she owned the place and what she says goes, and she overrides what they said. I left my items right on the counter along with her business card. Totally rude and Im an antique dealer and word travels fast. This place is not worth the drive.
Just visiting for the week, but I enjoyed your facility so much I had to come back twice. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I loved seeing them work on their cool projects. Prices were great and you can find just about anything you could think of. If I ever pass this way again I will be stopping.
We go here a few times a year to look for odd items you cant get anywhere else. My only gripe is that sometimes the pricing can be wildly different between wood prices. But if youre willing to walk around and work at home on the wood you buy here you can end up with some amazing results.
I arrived to a warehouse that used to be abandoned. It is now cleaned up and full of stuff. Any kind of stuff you can imagine. I went in looking for a door and that have a whole enormous and long isle of doors organized very well and lit even better (motion sensor lights to conserve electricity). I didnt buy a door as the average was fifty dollars but I found some light switch covers and a lamp for a dollar and twenty six dollars for the marble looking lamp. The lamp is somewhat damaged at the bottom so one should probably check whatever they buy to see if they agree with its condition. They have a ton of items. All seem to be recycled and/or antiques. I could spend way more time in there and spend a paycheck or two more. I thought it is great that someone decided to buy one of these warehouses and repurpose it. There are so many opportunities for gentrification in the city of Jacksonville Florida.
To begin let me say that this place does have a lot to offer and the staff is very nice but the problem is that they dont know what items they have, or how to price them. This is a salvage operation yet they consistently price items at retail. I have visited eco relics over a dozen times and they consistently dont know their inventory, prices, or what the items even are. If you make the mistake of telling them what the item youre interested in is then they will just check eBay and google for prices and charge you retail. Ridiculous. Especially when the very same item is on the shelf priced at half what you are quoted on check out. It is really a shame. I have given this establishment the benefit of the doubt on more than several occasions and continue to be let down. There are better deals to be had if you are willing to look and I would encourage you to look elsewhere.
The stock is huge...its an enormous antique store and lots of salvaged building materials...however, as it has been brought out a few times in these reviews, its waaay overpriced! (Old cabinet hinges $10 bucks a piece, deteriorated doors with broken glass panes $1700 bucks, junk steel bathtubs $200 bucks, etc). Im not exactly a bargain hunter but I still know the difference between someone who is serious about moving stock, and others who have plenty of room to let stuff sit. Im sure the staff is very nice and helpful, but so are insurance salesmen. I walked through the store and walked back out again. Im gonna just keep with FB marketplace or craigslist for salvage building materials...EcoRelics is catered more for the guy who loads up his supplies on the back of a Porsche...not for the average joe.
Bought quite a few pieces of wood from them. Took a piece of black walnut live edge slab back to them so they could plain it down And they took it from just over 2 inches to just under an edge. Ruined the slab to the point where it cannot be used for the project it was purchased for. How could someone think that I would give them a 2 inch thick slab and be happy getting back half a piece of wood. The owner said sorry there’s nothing he can do for me.
The staff is great and very helpful. I found the prices for the things I was looking for to be pretty fair. They have a bit of pretty much everything, from bakelite, to old records, old sewing patterns, fabric, house fixtures, very interesting decor pieces. I love the old wood that they have, and have made a beautiful desk from the old barn wood. From my 40s apron patterns,to the old hollywood movie prints, its hard for me not to pick something up whenever I go. When it comes time to update my backyard, I know where Ill be going. Its also a great place to find a gift.
Wanted to drive down to see this place for the past 2 years. Finally we plan a day to go see things in Jacksonville. The building is cool and they have alot of neat stuff, however alot of your prices are comical. Great store for people who dont care about price and love to pay well above retail. For the carpenters out there look elsewhere.
Horrendous customer service. Came to pick up a board of black walnut. Picked out a piece to my liking, but the piece had about half a bd.ft of useless punky, wormhole-riddled wood (worth about $6 at their premium prices). I very reasonably requested that this amount be deducted from the price. The sales rep first refused on the grounds that it could be filled with epoxy - the idea being I should pay the same amount for useless wood, so that I can spend more time and money filling it with epoxy. She then insisted without measuring that the wormy area (half a bd. ft) amounted to 50 cents of wood...smhIts one thing to pay bloated prices, another to give bad customer service. I wont be going back, and if youre a woodworker I recommend you steer clear as well.
If youre looking for antiques, expect to pay antique store prices. This isnt the place I go to find a bargain for things to repurpose to resell. The prices are too high. Some of the building supplies and such are a little cheaper and they do have a lot of variety.Management will work with you on things and are very helpful.Their front desk cashier can be pretty rude though.
One worker said a item on a not priced yet shelf wasnt for sale and after an explaination walked away. Another guy asked husband if we needed help and he told the worker about the box he gave me a price. When the first worker noticed me carrying the item she went to the office to tattle. The owner was ok with the sale but, the lady taking the money acted like I was stealing it from her baby. So, for a $7 item, that I would have let them keep had my sweet husband not been there, we wont be back to buy the new-old front door or windows he had planned to get.Had fun first visit bought some stuff I still havent found a real use for yet, all the staff was great that time which is why 2 stars.
Great place to walk around the staff is awesome and super helpful. You can find amazing things if your into DIY just be prepared to pay! The owner lady is a bit rude and not very helpful at all. Not sure what her deal is. If only the owner had the same attitude of the staff this place would be incredible. Other than that really an amazing place to shop.
The sales staff were on their game. They asked if I needed help, which I did, in finding specific vintage hand rails and large 1/4 round trim. Both of which they found in the molding area.Price was great. This was my second visit and I was in and out with just what I needed. So ask first. Browse second.
The staff was extremely rude to my fiancé and I not to mention they charge double market value. The funny thing is, everyone shopping in there is convinced theyre getting a deal! The manager wouldnt even barter with me. Honestly, youre much better going to the flea market. I wouldnt recommend Eco Relics to anyone I know.
I called in to see if they had any bathroom vanities in store and the employee was completely useless. I simply asked if they had any bathroom vanities in store, he told me that he thought they MIGHT have a couple. I asked if he could tell me even what the sizes were or if he was sure they had them, he said no I have to come in and check myself. Seriously? 40 minute drive for me, what if they didnt even have any? Lazy!! Takes very little effort to walk to the bathroom area and look to see if they even have any at all, much less look for an extra 15 seconds to tell me the size. Why would anyone give business to someone who just blows you off like that? Im sure I would have purchased much more that a vanity if I ended up actually being helped and went to the store. You should hire people who actually work at work.
We have purchased many items for our 115 year old house at Eco relics. Our latest purchase was two really old 5 panel doors for a den that were only $125 each for solid wood doors. Lowes price for 2 solid wood doors was around $700. Big savings and the doors match the style of our home so much better than something new. Also, this place is massive. If you cant find what you are looking for just ask one of the many helpful employees and they will help you find it.Love this place.
I cant even say how much I love the staff and the deals that eco has to offer! IF you are looking for project materials for a custom piece its the place. We are so lucky to have a place with soul in Jacksonville be sure to Leave some time to wonder through the 50k square foot warehouse of AWESOMENESS!
I absolutely love exploring Eco Relics. This place is a well kept secretthat I learned about from my sister. I am redecorating and am able to find the items I need and then some. Will be going back for bathroom items next week. Stop by and I guarantee you wont be disappointed👍👍👍CJ
Eco relics is one of my favorite places in Jax! Ive been telling all of my friends about it and brought another one for the first time yesterday. She loves it as much as I do! Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful! There is so much to see and certainly something for everyones style and imagination. You need at least a full afternoon on your first visit to look around and take it all in.From salvaging, recycling and repurposing to customer service, kindness and creativity, they are truly saving our planet! They definitely make Jacksonville a better place! Thanks so much Eco Relics!
Learned about this place trough FB and so glad we visited. The owner, Annie, and her hard working employees have turned an old turn of the century building into a reclaimed everything business. Bought a couple of small things and will return again soon with friends from SSI, Georgia.
Not really sure what company/ business this was. I had to pull over in their parking lot to finish a text to my boss. I do however know the area, seeing as how Ive lived here since I was three and there is a lot of things going on in that zip code that one normally tries to avoid
Very cool place filled with junk and treasure. All types of salvage-a place fans of Joanna Gaines will love. The complex offers all types of salvage for DIYers, along with hardware, plumbing, parts and pieces, custom woodshop, and a huge yard. Always something old & new.
The Manager decided today to ask me to show him I.D. saying that he wanted to know if the Credit Card I tendered to pay for my purchase was mine. I know that anyone can use a valid Credit Card to make a purchase. The Manager was rude and disrespectful. He singled out some customers to ask for I.D. Shame!. Eco Relics has changed and the current Manager has to be replaced. Eco Relics Manager of July 12th. 2017 turned his back to this customer to show Manager on his back. Rude and unprofessional. I have done business with Eco Relics for some time, even donating two hot tub shells to the store, and I never felt disrespected by any other employees. Eco Relics is on the way out of business.
Place full of over priced junk, if you do find something nice. Its going to cost you an arm and a leg to get it. Went to get a fire place mantel and they wanted $450 for a white beat up one, then they had one for 199.00 but as soon as I touch it, It started falling apart. Will never be back, I will take my chances on Craigslist before I go back.
This place ROCKS. I was able to find a wooden floor beam that came out of the original highrise in Jax Fl, the Dyal Upchurch Building. I used it as a fireplace mantle with contrast to the modern stacked stone. This piece of wood has so much character it just speaks to you and really makes the fireplace pop now. The staff here is awesome and willing to work with you on ideas and suggestions. I would recommend this place to anyone from the DIYer to the master craftsmen. If youe like me, plan at least an hour or two to roam the rows of stuff as there are new items every week. Love this place!

2022-04-25We decided to stop in for our first time after visiting the nearby Farmers Market. The place is incredible! We spent almost two hours walking around the place. The staff are very friendly and we even met Maple the cat.Whether you are looking for an antique piece of furniture, a nostalgic item or larger items such as wood beams, they seem to have it all.

2022-03-23This place is AWESOME! If you are looking for refurbished building materials, vintage door knobs, hinges, moldings look no further they have it and then some. Let’s talk about their selection of exotic woods everything from Pine to Mohogany to Cherry to Maple and the list goes on. I am in awe every time I go and find something that I didn’t see the last time. They have all types of fasteners from screws to nails to pins the amount of stuff is mind blowing. If you are looking for vintage records, posters, memorabilia for yesteryear it’s there. Go there and look what at all they have I bet you will leave with something.

2022-03-27I’ve never visited Eco Relics before and this place is incredible! We probably walked around for over an hour and found so many beautiful items! I took photos of items we are still interested in too. I recommend coming in and taking a look for sure

2022-04-02Eco Relics, always my first choice for shopping, looking for cool, one of a kind finds. Christy helped me look through the stacks of cast iron firebacks, and then she invited me to the Eco Relics 8th anniversary celebration 4/24/2022, 1-4. Free beer and live entertainment! Remember Cruisers (Under the Boardwalk)? Cant wait to go back to Eco Relics!

2022-06-18Decent amount of good finds in here. Definitely recommend going but I was trying to buy all the 78rpm records they had and the lady in the offices wouldnt even give a ball park price on around 200 records. She didnt seem to be knowledgeable on the topic and was unwilling to negotiate a price so we left.

2020-09-22This is the perfect store if you are looking to build/renovate something historically accurate. Their warehouse is so huge that even going at a quick pace, I only got through about 70% in an hour and fifteen minutes. I would usually subtract a star because this place is very expensive, but they get a bonus star for saving the planet for selling reused materials.

2018-09-02Absolutely love this place. Many rows of repurposed goods. I went there looking for a door. Working on a project at my home and needed a door with particular measurements. It took a little bit of time and looking to find the door that suited my needs best, but it was well worth it.They have many items in this warehouse that caught my fancy. Everything from antique bottles of all sizes, reclaimed wood, tile, flooring (new and reclaimed), to antique bathtubs. There is a good selection of armoires and old sewing machines. Let me not forget to mention that they have door knobs and hinges galore. There is an amazing wood shop there where they make various wood pieces and wood furniture. This is a wonderful place to go but plan on spending a little time here especially if you are simply browsing. You can take hours to look at all the items they have in the warehouse. It is a great place for generating ideas for projects or completing a project or simply going down memory lane (thats for us baby boomers).

2018-08-04Awesome funky store in downtown Jacksonville. Its a huge warehouse with a large outdoor yard filled with supplies. They have a ton of vintage and reclaimed goods. This is the best place in town to find reclaimed wood of all shapes and sizes. They also have a custom woodworking shop where theyll build custom order pieces and they do fantastic work.
