I work in the mortgage industry for some years now and I know how hectic it can get specially in a sellers market post pandemic.I can 100% say that Emmett is truly awesome, he goes above and beyond on everything. Any time I had a question regarding whatever, even silly things (first time homeowner) he was always there to assist.I only had so much for a down-payment and he was able to adjust and work with the numbers to find us a great lender and still not go over my budget. The house hunting process was a bit crazy but this pertains more to my real estate agent (a friend of mine) as well as this crazy market lol. Even then, Emmett always make sure to not forget about us lol, always followed up, even offered to assist in getting a RE (not needed).We closed within 30 days of initial application, he was very communicative throughout this whole process and even shared his YT videos to know what to expect on the pre-approval, UW process, closing day, post closing. In this day of age, internet/email communication is very important and I loved the fact that we were able to navigate this whole process via email/e-sign/text haha!There were some minor hiccups but Emmett was always quick to find a resolution for everything. Emmett really knows how to take the stresses of buying or refinancing a house away from the buyer. He is always prompt and available to answer questions and deal with random worries. Emmett is the best. Everything is taken care of. He drives to get everything in order and makes things happen. We closed in 3 weeks! Our inspection resulted in some work to be done by the owner which took two weeks, then we realized that there were advantages to closing before Christmas. So this review is LONG overdue. I apologize for that. 6 months ago my wife and I started to look for a home. Emmett was highly recommended to us by a coworker of mine. Upon contacting him, he was very friendly and willing to work with us. My credit was not the best, but Emmett assured me that it was not a problem. We looked for ways to get a home that was in our budget with the lowest rates that were possible during the time. Within a day we were approved for a 225k loan with rate at the markets lowest. Emmett was referred to me by my realtor. I was impressed by the video presentations that he sent along the loan application and approval process. These are concise yet easy- to-understand video presentations that catered to my case. These videos helped me understand the loan process and different options of the loan. Due to my unique financial situation, I changed my loan options several times back and forth, even after the rate was locked. Emmett and Cheryl were very patient with me, walked me through each and every possible situation tirelessly, until I chose the one that best fit my situation. I was able to close early!
