I recently had a problem with my Expedition which led me to question the service department diagnosis. William Pannier assistant service manager in Clearwater took me out to the shop so that I could see for myself that their diagnosis was, in fact, correct. Because we were to leave on a trip in 3days, I was concerned about getting parts and installation in a timely manor. William went above and beyond to get the parts and repair done to my complete satisfaction. I was given a loaner car, had my Expedition repaired in one day, and the expense for all parts and labor was considerably less than expected. Mr. Pannier’s attitude. and responsiveness was much appreciated. I will definitely return to Ferman Ford for future service.William Buckley
I have been dealing with Ferman Ford for a few years now and I will say that from John McVay to William in service the experience has been 110% above my expectations!! This dealership is more than a dealership, it is a team working hard together to bring the best possible experience to the customer! I will never buy from another Ford dealer other than Ferman! Had the best car by experience of my life! I have been a Toyota fan since I was 16 but it was time to upgrade to a real truck (Got a Ford F-150). Not only was my sales rep kind and courteous but Itzel was willing to work with me on everything and so was the manager! Took my truck in on a Thursday for a check engine light and rough idle. First service advisor told me I had multiple issues with the truck that he could see on the computer through the Ford App. So I leave it with them and as I am standing waiting for my lyft ride I get a call for the sales department. They offered to buy the truck for a deal too good to pass up. When asked exactly what truck on their lot they would sell me, silence. They have zero new trucks on the lot. 4 days later I called the service department to find out what is going on. First person couldnt find my truck on their lot. Second advisor told me that its not my issue and sent me to another service advisor. That service advisor told me they havent even looked at it yet. The next day I call again and now the tech got covid. Call the next day and their machine was broken. The next day I get a call that: your truck checked out fine and nothing is wrong. I went and picked up the truck and no once could give me an answer why I was never contacted for 4 days and why it took them 7 days to figure out nothing is wrong. I was waiting for a survey but never received one, so that is why I am resorting to a google review. I will be taking my vehicle to another Ford dealer from now on.
Excellent place to do business. I came in to get an oil change ended up trading my car and getting my beautiful brand new f150. The deal they made i couldnt say no to. I got almost what i paid for my trade two years ago. The manager even came out to greet me and offered my kids some games to play with while we worked everything out. Definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends and family members.
We live 7 hours from the dealership and purchased our truck remotely. It was a little difficult getting a response from the sales man and it took 24+ hours and multiple follow up calls on my part to get an updated buyers order.That being said, we got a great deal on our truck and I’m very happy with it!
I was recently on vacation to clearwater and experienced engine trouble on my Ford F-150 that we drove down with. I called to schedule service when we got in at around 10:30 a.m. Not only did they get me in the same day but had it repaired the same day as well! This was even more impressive as it was on a Saturday! They went way over above and beyond my expectations. If you need a car or service on your vehicle I highly recommend Ferman Ford for any of your needs! Thank you Ferman for keeping my Easter plans possible you are life savers!!!
Just purchased a Bronco from this dealership. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Kudos to our agent Mr. Leo Alibasic for going all out and helping us pick out our car. He was very accommodating and answered all our inquiries right away. He kept in touch with us all throughout the transaction. We are very satisfied & we highly recommend this dealership.
Prompt to reply to my online request. Sent my wife to test drive a Jeep they currently have on inventory. I called the salesman Antonio Martinez to start business over the phone. He tells me that his manager does not allows him to do business over the phone, that he cannot sell me the car because he has other people looking at it. He was courteous about it. However when his manager called, I explained the reason I send my wife on my behalf and he told me that he had other people coming in to look at it as well, and that he cannot do business over the phone. Excellent way to waste the customers time, and extremely professional on the managers behalf. This is a dealership that still operates on the 20th century.
Great Experience on my F-350 Diesel!Called Ferman this morning with a couple of problems under warranty. The pleasant lady on the phone took my information and gave me an appointment the same day. (I need to mention that I had a total opposite experience when I called another Ford dealer a few miles away that same morning). I took the truck in to drop off and they called a Lyft to take me home who arrived within minutes. I hardly got home before I received a call that the repairs were finished. They again sent a Lyft driver to pick me up and take me back to the dealership. They had replaced the backup camera and tested my (2) batteries which they said were weak and replaced them both with brand new batteries. I might have expected a pro-rated price on those, but no... all at no charge! Thank you Ferman and Ford Motor Company for a perfect experience. Makes me want to buy another Ford some day!

Sales experience wasnt bad but they make it so you really have to use their financing or cash, and the interest rates are a lot higher then others. I took it and it took several weeks to get the information to transfer it somewhere with reasonable interest rates. (I got an interest rate less then half what they gave me. They dont take checks from other financing so its cash or use their finance).
Ferman Ford has become my dealer for service. Other dealerships in the area can’t seem to service my diesel as they can’t find techs. I call Ferman and they get me in within a few days and they always do an excellent job. I highly recommend you try Ferman if you have a diesel that needs service!
I found the jeep I wanted at Ferman Ford! I live 4.5 hours away in Tallahassee and the dealership was nice enough to hold the car for me with no deposit and even took it off the website which is unheard of. I got through the finance office very quickly and was back home in time for dinner!
We went through 5 dealerships before getting to this one and Leo Alibasic was by far the best salesman to work with. Hes friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about their current new and used vehicles. We bought two cars in two days because of the experience he provided! 6 out of 5 stars! Thanks Leo!
I am always nervous to purchase a car, however, Michael at Ferman Ford was a pleasure to work with! He was patient with me in choosing the right vehicle for me, had a positive attitude and wasnt pushy at all! I would highly recommend Michael and the staff at Ferman Ford Clearwater.
I’m baffled by our experience. We walked into their showroom, bopped around looking at what was inside while we waited to be acknowledged, sat down and waited. And waited. For 15-20 minutes no one even greeted us. We’re totally fine waiting, we expect to wait, you can only help some many people at one time. But it seemed we were invisible. We made eye contact several times and still no acknowledgement. So we left and went to Walker Ford, hopefully they want a sale.
Terrible experience with this dealership. Selected this Ford dealership because I assumed Ferman Ford dealership would be familiar with Ford product. Service department has zero people/communication skills. The service rep seemed confused. Service manager wouldn’t return my call. Ferman had my 2009 Escape for 2 months and couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t repair? Similar steering issue had been a factory recall, but this dealer seemed unaware?? (I found many people on a simple Google search with the same issue, power steering works and then doesn’t). Incorrect diagnosis included power steering pump and then I was told repeatedly “parts on back order”. Last conversation with confusing service rep was Ford doesn’t make the part(s) anymore and suggested maybe replacing the steering column? Lots of excuses, no action. Solutions? Nothing. I finally retrieved my vehicle. Such a waste of time.
I recently visited Ferman Ford to get some ideas for a new vehicle before the expiration of my current lease. I found the dealership and staff to be welcoming. I appreciated the knowledge and assistance of Antonio Marinez in looking at available options. Many thanks for all the help.
We have a highly successful and quality oriented automotive aftermarket business in the Philadelphia market. We built a new Bronco for a customer that included a lift kit and larger wheels and tires that was shipped to Florida. Very shortly after delivery the vehicle developed a high speed vibration. Sometimes in this case we experience the stick on wheel weights may not have all stayed stuck to the wheels because of the colder temps up north. We would quickly take care of the problem by rebalancing the wheels and applying new weights but in this instance we relied on this dealership to do the repair because of the customers location and we would cover the costs. We were charged $170 to rebalance the tires which is extremely over priced by around double and they also did a alignment which was totally unnecessary being the vehicle was aligned by us a few weeks earlier and would not be the cause of the problem anyway. All we wanted was some professional courtesy to help our customer in need but we were totally taken advantage of and extremely overcharged because of the situation. Cameron the service writer offered to not help us and put us in a bad spot with our customer. If this dealership is willing to hurt a small business what will they do to you? I wish I could give no stars, they dont deserve one.
Disappointing. The salesperson was a good kid. I was curious about a vehicle that was available. I spoke to him about a possible purchase. The credit manager told me they had to see if I was credit worthy. When I didn’t buy the car they said I was not credit worthy. They did not have my full earning information. Sad. I’d suggest another dealership.
We were in Florida for work and vacation. Drove down from Minnesota and ran into car trouble on the way. Olta and everyone in the service dept. at Ferman were Super professional, efficient and courteous. My vehicle was repaired and ready for us to drive back to Minnesota safely and without delay.

We came in looking for a 2018/19 vehicle and went home with 2021 brand new vehicle for less and wayyy less mileage. Alex did an amazing job digging up this beauty! The visit was smooth. Paperwork was quick! Full warranty, perfect monthly payment, great gas milage! They worked so hard and when above and beyond to make this dream come true. Beyond blessed and grateful 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💜🎉🙌🏻And they had soda, coffee, plenty of seating and some of the most bad butt vehicles! Mustangs!! 5 minutes on the phone and the sales manager talked himself out of a customer ready to buy with a loan at the ready for a specific vehicle. They disregarded an agreed price by saying the vehicle was unavailable and IF it were to become available, it would be marked up $6000 from the previously offered price. FOR THE SAME VEHICLE!!!! ill just order my vehicle to the dealer I know and trust, tried to avoid waiting but after this short experience its worth waiting. Do your research before you go here or anywhere, these sharks smell blood in the water and theyre starving. But if you order it from ford they have to honor the MSRP at the time of delivery
Very poor service this day. I came to the dealer to check on the noise in rear brake area. 1 month earlier 800 miles I had front brakes done and rear brakes cleaned and adjusted.I was greated in the service on time. My appointment was 8:00 am. Car left service entrance and then it sat. I question the status of my car from Oltra kokona service rep. She never came to speak to me but said I now need a complete brake job in the rear. Asked her how this could be since I was just there as I stated.She handed me off to William panier.He said he would handle this job as internal. This I appreciated.The garage finally got the car to work on at 10:57(3 hours later)..When all was done 5 five hours I sat here at Ferman.I got an email from the service dept William panier to call him if I couldnt give a satisfactory rating.So I called informed him of the poor service and would not lie on survey. He offered me a free oil change. I thanked him but informed him I will be writing a poor survey and comments. All I heard was short handed. If so I asked him why not give me a loaner when done call me. But this was never done.i just dont understand that if you have an appointment why not honor that time since I was waiting.
I was attended by John McVay when purchasing my new Hellcat charger, and I must say the experience was great, my expectations were very much exceeded. They cleaned the car multiple times for me, financing was very fast and prices were more than reasonable. Coming from Miami to Tampa wasnt very easy but it was more than worth it, dealers down here in the South have much to learn from the folks here. John McVay was an excellent sales person and friend.
I normally don’t like to leave reviews of any kind but I feel like it won’t be fair to not mention the warm and outstanding service I received from Antonio Marinez. I was extremely hesitant about re-living the typical car dealer experience but Antonio changed my perspective, he was very courteous, understanding and most of all very patient.

On February 2nd I made the biggest purchase so far in my life. I bought a new 2021 Ford Mustang from Furman Ford on US 19. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and would not have been that way had it not been for the sales consultant who helped me. Brian Jamieson not only knew everything there was to possibly know about the car, but he was also amazing in his effort to help me understand the whole process step-by-step. This being my first time buying a new car, I had a lot of questions and needed a lot of help and not once did Brian not have the perfect answer for me. I never felt rushed or pressured in any way. From top to bottom this dealership was amazing in helping me, from the F & I Manager Frank Savranakis to the Finance Director Eric Bartholomew this will be an experience I will appreciate for the rest of my life. I can’t thank them enough, and they have assured me they will be there for me the rest of the way and help with any future questions or concerns!
Just had an incredible experience with Robert Guinn, my service advisor at ferman ford. Had my first oil change for my 2021 Ford mustang GT which I got from the same dealership. Came in with my baby and I asked Robert for an ETA and I was told it could take up to 90 mins. I asked him to try to expedite the process if possible as it will get close to my babys nap time. I was in and out in 60 mins! Got a great cup of coffee, water and relaxed in a very quite lounge. Best of all, my ford pass points covered all the expenses of the oil change and service.Definitely recommend Robert Guinn and ferman ford in general. Stellar service!
Service center needs a reboot in customer service. My moms car has been there for a whole week and no calls have been returned to her. No one is available anytime she calls. Just one email saying it would cost 8,000 to fix a 2012 ford SUV. Took it there 3 weeks ago for a purge valve problem they fixed it and right after that a cyclinder failed. You would think when they connected the OBD reader it would of said a cyclinder was misfiring….And now the whole engine needs to be replaced. Absolutely not okay!

I physically had to go in about a financial inquiry because none of the finance people answer their phones. I have left 3 voicemails and called 5 times with no answer. My original request resulted in a refund check and I still haven’t received it almost 3 months later.If I didn’t answer voicemails or phone calls at my job, I would be fired. Looks like I will have to drive back there (I live 45 minutes away) to get an answer to a simple question because I can’t reach anyone or get a call back.Businesses that can’t answer phones or give the courtesy of returning a phone call don’t deserve any business at all. Most especially when it comes to financial inquiries.
Terrific operation! I enquired about the new electric F-150 Lightning and spoke with Antonio Marinez. I’m so happy I was connected with him, his knowledge of the product is remarkable, he is patient and informative. If I decide to proceed Ferman Ford and Antonio Marinez will be my one stop shop!
How do you lose my car. I dropped it off a week ago and I have called everyone from every department every day since and now they were looking for my car. Then found my car and are now looking for keys. Then tried to convince me to get work done after being rejected and lost my car and put me through a easter egg hunt. Worst situation of 2022 so far lol. Crazy how this circus is ran. I am high most of the day but they must be high on better stuff. I need what they have been smoking or drinking on. They need a Gordon Ramsey of cars lol.
MY 2019 f 150 Platinum is the 4th vehicle i have bought from Ferman in the last few years. The service and staff especially Jeff V and Eric H have exceeded our expectations for the trucks and cars we have purchases at Ferman. This is demonstrated by coming back to Ford this year I changed brands last year.
Thank you so much for our beautiful new used Buick. Megan was absolutely wonderful it was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had. Although our experience started at Ferman BMW with Daniel Ruiz he was very pleasant and wonderful to work with even though we did not buy a car from him directly we were able to make a deal for him. Former employee… requested and paid for a wheel that was never ordered. Attempts to get reimbursed have been met with resistance and blame game tactics. Additionally, I was shorted income per verbal agreement with Ford manager Joe Wheeler. Not to be trusted at Ferman Ford of Clearwater.
I have purchased numerous vehicles from the various brands over the years and this place is without a doubt in my top 3. Sam, my salesman, acted more like a knowledgeable friend than an actual sales person. Not once did he pressure me or try to sell me on something that I did not want. I gave him specific guidelines and he showed me exactly what I wanted. This was a truly phenomenal new car buying experience. The dealership is very well kept, all of the staff are very friendly and try to make you feel at home. Sam fought to get me every rebate and the best price possible. I haven’t yet used the service department but I’m sure that will be just as good of an experience. I will definitely be back here and I will refer my friends and family here to see Sam in specific. If you are in the market and considering a Ford, check this place out... you won’t be sorry.

The deal I was given for my new GT was amazing, and everyone I worked with practically bent over backwards to help me out (including agreeing to install leather for free since that was the only thing holding me back from getting the car). Highly frustrated with this company/location. It’s almost taken a complete year for them to complete the recalls they’ve sent out for my car. I am constantly told the parts are in stock and to schedule an appointment just to get there (over a 25min drive) and be told they don’t have the rights parts still - OR BETTER YET, be told there’s yet another recall stated for me. I am constantly waiting and constantly wasting time being tossed around about my car and its safety.One of the more frustrating parts is while this is going on, they have the audacity to send me emails/mail wanting me to use them for maintenance! I have not received any compensation for their mistakes nor have I been offered any discounted services or any sort of sincere apology for the hassle they continue to put me through. Frustratingly so, I do not recommend Ford dealership, especially not the ones located in Clearwater, FL.
Overall a wonderful experience! Ben really listened to everything I wanted and worked with me every step of the way to make sure I got exactly what would work for my family and I. He really helped ease some uncertainties and questions I had so I felt confident I was making the right decision. Thank you for making this process go so smoothly!

They really lack customer service in the service department. One man in particular has been griping about other customers in front of me 2 out of 4 times Ive been there. Thank God I dont have to go back there for any more oil changes & hoping nothing else! Sales team is awesome though...so if youre expecting great customer service in the service dept..DONT GO TO FERMAN!
If you are in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle, you must come to Ferman Ford. The fact that the Fermans have been in business for over 126 years, speaks volumes about their dedication to treating their customers with the utmost care. Their knowledgeable staff and transparent, no-pressure approach to sales made the car buying process enjoyable. I will gladly refer my friends and family to buy from Ferman Ford and they have my highest recommendation.
DONT TRUST THIS PLACEFor whoever reads this, I highly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else first. This place cannot be trusted. Why not? Let me explain. (I gave them 2 stars opposed to 1 star simply because some of the people I dealt with were nice)I brought my Mazda here for the first time to get a simple compression test and have a full service inspection done. Quoted at $300, I agreed because I dont know how to do a compression test. 1 week later I get my car back, and am being charged $420 for some reason, I pay it and get my car back only to find a huge crack on my passenger side dashboard. I brought this to their attention and they claimed it was sun damage. I keep my car in the garage and maintain it. Theres no way the sun did that in the 1 week it was at the dealership. I dont know if they broke it, swapped it out, or tried to check the airbag recall (I had this done 2 years prior, so no need to do it) Whatever the case, they lied about it, even up to the service director, who said I could pay $400 to get it fixed!... Not only this but the results (which I wasnt given when I paid) for the test and inspection did not add up. After all of this I call up the general manager and only get to speak to his assistant for the next week. After getting no calls back from the GM himself or from his assistant, I call up corporate and file a claim which gets the ball rolling. Skipping ahead 3 full weeks from when I got my car back, I was refunded $120, they replaced my dashboard for free, and did another inspection (still havent gotten those results). All in all, I appreciate them fixing their mess, but what a huge waste of time this was. Note, Im not very experienced with cars, dealerships, or any of this. Luckily I had photos from before to prove the damage wasnt already there. They took advantage of me and I will never go here again or recommend it to anyone.

When visiting this dealership with a friend of mine, i assume its because of how young we looked, as we were not even given the time of day to be assisted. How very uncultured and ill-bred.I guess my circle was right when they said id be better off going to Toyota than the ford clown circus.
Demetrios and Rob Hobbs took care of me like I was family and they actually cared about making the sale. All of the other dealerships that I spoke to were wanting outrageous prices and didn’t want to budge or work with me because they wanted to pull one over this 21 year old. Not Demetrios and Rob. They took care of me and made this process the easiest car buying process yet. Highly highly highly recommend coming to see them, you won’t regret it.
Working with Amer was an absolute pleasure. he never made me feel pressured to make a decision, and most importantly a true professional. My buying process has been nothing but aggravation and Amer was excellent throughout my whole experience, making it easy. I have been in the market for a few months. Have been driving the CERTIFIED vehicle for less than 3 months and yesterday after the deep cleaning inside the vehicle noticed a bright orange thing under the steering wheel- happened to find out that my steering shaft is completely rusted out. Way to go, guys, selling vehicles with rigorous 172 points of inspection and the vehicle is a life threatening vessel!!!! Shame on you!!!!Update: 4/24/2019. I appreciate everything that has been done. I would like to express my gratitude to Ron Whiting, Sales Manager, for understanding and working with me; to Isaam Hatimi, Sales Representative, for patience and assistance and to Eric, Financial Director, who helped us with financial part when we bought Ford F-150 in Feb. 2018 (we enjoy this vehicle) and this time has helped us with Ford Escape. Theyre price gouging. They claim to have paid over sticker for the Mach-Es to keep the doors open, which is a very stupid decision if true. Then they turn around and are trying to charge customers an additional $15,000 as market adjustment. Well see what Ford corporate, who already warned dealerships regarding price gouging, has to say.
The diagnostic states that my air filter is clean and yet my air filter is very dirty they didnt even check it. How can i trust that my transmission is going to be fixed properly and they said that the evap sensor and the cabin temp sensor are bad even though it was the air filter. Terrible job and lazy people
I have purchased 2 brand new Mustang GTs from this dealership from Dino DeMarco. He and Eric in finance made the experience stress free and gave me the deal I wanted; there was very little back and forth. After owning my first Mustang for almost three years, Dino DeMarco got me into another new Mustang GT which I love. When there was a mechanical issue, the management stepped up, fixed my car and gave me a little extra love for the inconvenience. Had them perform maintenance on my ‘10 F250 6.4L since it has 170k miles. They found several front end parts needing replaced and my intercooler needed replaced. They couldn’t get an intercooler from ford so I had to buy one and take it they to install it! But they did a great job an all the repairs and my total cost for repairs was exactly what they quoted with no hidden cost. Se vice rep was good to work with but I found I had to ask for updates of progress during the 7 days they had it.
My friend Mike Maguire(Ghost) from Tampa Harley Davidson heard I was in the market for a new truck and connected me with Eric Hager over at Ferman Ford, Clearwater. Eric was great! He knew I was pressed for time and found me the truck I wanted quickly and painlessly. This was a much easier purchase than I have experienced in the past with other dealerships. Had a 90,000 mile service preformed on My 2010 Ford which are all My miles Driven.I will say, everything was done amazingly and They do have an eye for detail as many Ford Dealerships do not. Sales was awesome, service continuously failed to perform. I have complained to management numerous times, GM and service manager regarding lack of detail by service technicians. It makes me wonder if technicians are willing to take shortcuts, what else are they short-cutting that I dont see. The photo I attached is only a very small example of the 6-8 times I have brought my vehicle in for service and been very disappointed. Having to bring vehicle back numerous times to get it done right is just plain annoying.
This is my second super duty Ford that I bought from furman. I was in and out the door relatively quickly and they even took a check with no hassle. Eric was my salesman and hes very smooth and fast with what he does. He also knows a lot about the products he sells and keeps you informed while youre waiting of what youre unaware of.

Well, where do I start; Before coming to Ferman Ford, I had already been car hunting for about a month, obviously looking for the right vehicle for the right price, but also I’m very big when it comes to customer service. You may have the best prices and you may save me money but if I’m not treated right from the beginning, I’m just going to take my money else where. So what I look for in a business, especially a sales business? is one that will go above and beyond and fight for you because it is important for them and it is also for me as a consumer. I called early morning as soon as they opened, I believe it was 9:10am, mind you that I live an hour away from Ferman, David, one of their sales representative answer the phone very professionally. I knew what I wanted already because I saw it online, it was a 2015 Tacoma, they just had taken it in on trade and was not available for sale just yet, but David took it on him self to go and and FaceTime me to show me the truck. I was very happy right off the back because not to many sales reps will do this especially if it is not up for sale yet. He guided me through the whole process and answered all my questions and if he didn’t know them he would go and find out and promptly call back with the answer. I knew then I was dealing with a great person in David but also a great company overall. From the manager Angelo to the finance manager Frank (which by the way, he could also be a sales men Lol). They made everything very smooth and provided excellent customer service from start to finish despite how difficult I may be. Great Job David and Ferman Ford!!!
Honestly, I cant express how perfect my experience was using Ferman for my new F150.I found the truck I wanted online, called over to the dealership and got a signed/written offer via email within a few minutes (that was almost exactly what I wanted to pay), negotiated for about 5 minutes and it was a done deal! No games to get you in the door, no strange math or surprises, just straightforward and honest pricing/negotiation.I cant say enough about the professionalism and exceptional level of customer service I experienced at Ferman from Demetrios, Ron, and Nabil. I will 100% be coming back to purchase my next vehicle at Ferman in the future based on my experience.

I didnt end up buying a car here because the medium roof Transit I was looking at was great, it had everything else I wanted except I really wanted high roof if I could find it. But, when I arrived on the lot I worked with Joe Rogers who was energetic, informative, and kind. He gave great advise and was willing to work with me in order to achieve financing with very low payments, and they would accept my trade for what I wanted for it. I felt like Joe was truly trying to help me. I will definitely contact him the next time Im looking for a car.
The follow up service from sales department is horrible after you purchase your vehicle. My salesperson not only forgot to add certain things to my custom ordered vehicle but in addition has failed to take care of these things in a timely manner Ive been waiting over 3 months now for the proper doors and visor
TLDR- I took my car into service, 3 times for the same issue, paid 2 different warranty deductibles, to not have my problem fixed.Took my car in march to get my A/C fixed, had some parts replaced, the problem persisted. Fast forward 2 weeks ago in mid July, had my car looked at again and was told it was a temp sensor. The problem was still existent on the ride back home from service. Took car back the next day to have it checked again . During this visit I was pawned off to another service advisor. I had my car in for a total of 24 hours of not being contacted, and I had to initiate on the status of my car.The next day I was told that the issue could not be replicated, and was driven for a total of 45 minutes. I was left at that, with really no problem resolution. On Saturday, 7/31 Being frustrated as my problem was not fixed and my AC was still broken, I bought a thermometer to prove that there was an issue with the AC temp. Called service and informed them of this, but was told I would not be able to have my car seen until Thursday of the upcoming week. I took my car into service, 3 times for the same issue, paid 2 different warranty deductibles, to not have my problem fixed.Being frustrated with this diagnosis and service, I took my vehicle to another dealership. Within 1 hour, their service department was diagnose that my AC evaporator was leaking coolant.The only good thing that came of my service was the free rentals both visits.
I had many great services over the past 2 weeks. I originally was brining in my car for regular maintenance things and had a very good experience with Robert of the service department. When going back in for a follow up, I was told the dealership was interested in my vehicle and willing to purchase it from me. I talked to Justin, and John about that and decided to do a trade in for a new car, and Bryan Jamieson was the salesperson that handled everything when it came to purchasing a new car. Very laid back, no pressure felt to purchase and the price was right. I left very satisfied with my experience and will continue to use and recommend Ferman Ford to everyone I meet that is looking for a new or used car.
I walked in with a pre approval letter and since I didn’t use any of their financing loaner, they charged me more. Also, since I didn’t have a trade in, because I got pre approved, I had a 1,000 extra charge for no reason. I left paying an extra 4,000 in extra fees for no reason
Do NOT take your vehicle to Ferman of countryside. I will include all the details and documentation in the next few days. Our truck was in an accident, contacted our insurance which is Geico. They referred us to Ferman. Truck had to be towed there. Ferman tech drove the truck to get a tire replaced, I have the tech on call stating the truck drove fine. The collision work was completed. We picked the truck up and within minutes there is no compression so we took it back on a Friday. Monday morning I was contacted as they stated the truck wouldn’t start so I need to pay $264 for a battery. And then after days of going back and forth, Ferman is stating the truck is ceased! Not from the accident but lack of maintenance. We have always maintained this truck. So now Ferman fixed the collision, I paid my deductible and now we have a truck blown up that the insurance company will not pay for and Ferman sent me a quote for 15,000 for a new engine. Again keep in mind that Ferman tech drove the truck after the accident! I will include details and documentation in a few days. Towing it elsewhere for a second opinion! Below they are stating this is not 100% true. I have requested a copy of the diagnostics which they have not provided to me, I have requested a statement from the tech or driver that drove our truck to get the new tire stating how the truck ran at that time. Based on what has happened, SOMETHING happened at Ferman. Maybe the Tech or driver drove the tar out of our vehicle? Bottom line, we have always maintained our vehicle, the truck ran at the time of the accident, the truck ran for the service tech or driver to get the new tire then we pick it up and it has NO compression, then it just wont start.
Service was horrible. Upon arriving for my appointment was advised it would be 45 minutes before they would even look at vehicle. Service person acted like I was bothering him even being there. After I was contacted by service rep to see if I purchased vehicle there (I did not) I was told they couldnt find anything wrong with vehicle. They stated cooling fan is supposed to run on high constantly as its designed that way.I know it is not. Dont expect good customer service if you did not purchase vehicle from dealership! I will take to another shop to get 2nd opinion. Waist of 1 1/2.
I contacted them about a 2020 Used Ford 250 with Tremor package. I am away on business and currently have been discussing via text. We finalized numbers and I went to clarify those numbers, 7 minutes later I get a text saying that someone was working on the deal as we spoke. We finalized numbers, credit was pulled, why didn’t I get the first go on the truck as I was about to put deposit down and pending a link.The entire time I was told I wasn’t able to bring outside financing either. Strange, as I’d never encountered this. They tried to tell me my initial interest rate with a great Credit score was 4.5% and magically it got down to 2.98% when I mentioned I was pre-qualified.There’s something unclear about the situation and either way if I had been speaking with them all day to solidify the buying process, why was the truck sold from out from underneath me as a pending deal was already being worked? There’s obviously disconnect or the business doesn’t care about a customer willing to drive 3 hours one way to purchase a truck and be a continued customer.Regina who was the person texting me did a great job at keeping in contact but there’s little to be said about the GM or sales manager who decided to let one deal go through while one was being worked.
Spoke to Rob that I was traveling to Newfoundland, Canada Sunday please make sure all fluids and tire pressure checked. After 2 hours I saw the technician drive my vehicle to the carport. I asked did everything check out, he stated yes, then said you did check tire pressure he stated yes 35 all around Attached images of different times to show they werent corrected. With the competition out there and you being a FORD dealership dealership very disappointed in your staffs follow up and technicians competency.Recieved call from Asst. Service Manager, William Pannier he was apologetic of this and stated will fix this issue with his team. He asked if he could have the opportunity to give the department another chance. I went back in for works service. They noticed the engine filter was showing needing replaced, which they also did without any charge. Additionally they werent happy with the tire pressure readings they took back couple times and additionally reset monitoring censors. Give Ferman an opportunity to service your truck.
To be honest, its really hard to find a place to start with this dealership and the employees that helped me get out of one of the worst situations I could find myself in.I had a beautiful Ford F150 that I planned on keeping for years, but I was hit by someone without insurance and that produced events and circumstances I never thought could be imaginable, but it all happened. In short, my 3 year old and myself suffered so much more than the bad person that hit us. It was bad hit after hit, after, hit and so on. I didnt know what to do. Finances were becoming an issue and it was on myself and family to fix. Again, trying to keep this part short, a friend introduced me to Jeffrey Voorheis and Tom Sfero. What a blessing this situation would turn out to be!I cant even begin to explain how devoted and determined Jeff was to help me out in my bad situation. He answered text messages, cell calls, dealership calls and even calls when he was off. He even got back to me on FATHERS DAY!!! Wow, thats customer service.All that being said, I was in a very bad situation with a beat up truck and a desire to get back into what I had and more options, to be honest. Jeff and Tom made it happen and when I say made it happen, I mean it. They bent over backwards and then some to make everything right for me!!This was not a sale it was a family solution for me and I cant thank them enough!!Thank you guys so much, from the bottom of my heart! I had a great experience with Ferman Ford in Clearwater. This was my second purchase through them and it was smooth and fast. I worked with Eric in finance for the second time and he was very helpful and efficient. Soteer was my salesperson and he was amazing. This vehicle was purchased after I had been in a bad accident and he had reached out to start the process but was not pushy to get a response. He was ver accommodating and understanding throughout the entire process. While I hope not to have to, I would definitely return to this dealership.
Ron Whiting, Joe Rogers and all the staff are great people to work with. All work together to make things happen. Be reasonable and they will go to work for you. They are part of the oldest continuous dealership in the US. Purchased a 18 F150 and they made it happen. Give them a try.
Saw a used Ford truck on line. Ad stated clean car fax, non smoking truck. Drove 1 1/2 hours to look at the truck, the salesman pulls the truck up to the front door and asks “Do you smoke?” . The dealership should do their best to make sure all information is correct on the advertisement. Waste of my time!
After having the opportunity to purchase my truck from numerous dealerships, I chose Ferman based on the reputation it had. WHAT A MISTAKE. The dealership miscommunicated with the bank that they recommended for my purchase, which caused a late payment to be placed on my credit (I have never paid anything late in my entire life), inturn dropping my credit over 100 points. As I was in Process of purchasing A home for me and my family, my mortgage financing did not go through due to the change in credit score and I lost $10,000 in escrow money and my future forever home. When I reached out to the Lender, they said the dealer would be the only one who could rectify the situation. When I reached out to the dealer, the general sales manager (Jason Bray) ignored me for weeks, then when I mentioned My intention to speak to someone else as he was ignoring me, he finally responded by threatening me with intentional physical assault, insulting me, defaming me, belittling me. As a potential forever Ford customer, and a potential forever ferman customer, I am absolutely DISGUSTED by the way there executive management handles customer service. I would NEVER recommend anyone spend their money at a place that they get treated this way. If you’re considering looking to purchase a new vehicle, read the attached text thread between me and their general sales manager, “Jason Bray” and ask yourself if this is the customer service you are looking for once you drive off the lot?I will be reaching out to all local new stations and potentially hiring and attorney, as I am in fear of vindictive retribution for speaking out against this behavior as they have all my information including my social security number, home address, credit information ect.
I have nothing but great things to say about Ferman Ford. I brought my Mustang in last week to get the routine maintenance done. William P. in the service department has been professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about any questions I have to ask. When I was getting my mustang worked on I was waiting in the showroom and there was a 2020 Ford Ranger. I asked a few questions about the Ranger. Michael and Angelo answered all of my questions. Michael was my salesman and I purchased the Ford Ranger. A truly GREAT car buy experience. If anyone needs to buy a car Ferman Ford is the place to go. Great service all across the board. The dealer was not too close to me, but Tony and Rob made the buying experience as stress-free as buying a used car could be - especially with the distance!I came late in the day after having a few helpful conversations over the phone.Compared to other dealers, they were the most inclined to try to make the deal work for me as much as possible.I love how they work with Suncoast CU, making me feel very comfortable with the financing I chose.The car is being delivered to me today, and I cant wait!I know women sometimes feel intimidated about buying a car alone. Still, Ferman was great about answering my questions and getting a better understanding of the car and financing options.
Called yesterday at the end of the day about programming my key for my Ford Explorer, they told me that I was welcome to just walk in tomorrow, but when I came, nobody wanted to speak with me, all (4 people) managers started to be very busy and declined to help me! After couple of minutes they probably started feeling bad and asked me if they can help me, and I said that I for sure need to do an appointment (even when I explained that I called yesterday).Friend of mine suggested me that location, and I was about to use them to buy a new truck, but after that kind of service!!! I’m to busy to even speak with them!Horrible experience
They stand by their service! My wife and I had a relatively minor issue with miscommunication on a job order with the Service Department. I spoke with Shelly Krolikowski, the Assistant to the General Manager, and she immediately got a clear picture of the issue, and researched it with William Pannier, the Assistant Service Manager. Ferman acknowledged the mistake they made, and PROMPTLY made it right with us, as their customers. Their professionalism is unmatched. We are customers for life!
I have been a long time customer starting when they shared a dealership with Mazda and continued to stay with them after Mazda left to have my Mazda serviced. I was very happy until I just referred my son there with his newly pre-owned car to have an oil change and inspection and before they even started they came back and told him his check engine light was on and theyd have to do a diagnostic and it would cost at least $200. Well there was no check engine light on before he went there and for the 5 days he owned a car before he went there, but suddenly now the check engine lights on? Something stinks to high heaven and I think its this dealership! They told him itd be $100 for an oil change and another $200 for the check engine light! Needless to say he left and Im embarrassed to say that I referred him to that place which I will no longer refer anyone or be going to from this point on.
Brian Jamieson was great! He was so patient and laid back with selling me a new car, and listened to all of my key points that I was looking for in a vehicle large enough for our growing family. I loved my car but Im in love with this 2021 Ford Escape and will be for years to come.
This is a good dealership to buy a car if youre needing to, since they dont harass you or pressure you. My husband and I recently ( Saturday) bought a Ford Fusion sedan. John Mcvay was very helpful, knowledgeable and understanding towards our needs in what we were looking for. He wasnt aggressive whatsoever like some sales people can be at times. We liked the low key atmosphere. We would have liked to get the price down a bit, but hopefully we will see in the future it was worth it!

I went into Ferman Ford of Clearwater for a simple tire change. I am part of the Ferman group and this has got to be the worst experience I have experienced. I needed two tires replaced. I called Saturday, they arranged the tires to arrive Monday and my appointment was then set for Monday.So far so good, I arrive for my appointment late and I understand that there will be a delay. No problem, after waiting 2.5 hrs I was given a story that it took 2.5 hrs to verify my warranty, which I purchased from them and had a copy in hand . This was a blatant falsehood, they then said they didnt have the tires again another lie. It was verified by parts that the tires were on hand.I understand that warranty doesnt pay as much as extended warranty does. But I can deal without the lies. After having to do the job of others, they were able to locate the tires that had been there the whole time, but by this time from 2pm to 5pm it was now to late to do the tire change.*Note the tire were damaged by x2 screws and safety was the major concern.Lastly the service technician blatantly didnt want to put the new tires on and apparently was his first time seeing 2 screws in 2 tires before because he was in such disbelief that is could happen ( in Pinellas County with all the construction). So they kept my truck over night. Then started the we dont have a loaner vehicle and all of them are out for the night. After that song and dance I was given a vehicle.I was informed before I left that the technicians come in at 8am, I received my truck at 10am. I received my vehicle with trash in the interior as a final good bye.Needless to say this was a unfortunate situation. I have faith in the Ferman Family however they need to adjust accordingly. We have and will continue to purchase Fords and stay true to the Ferman Family
I had a few issues with my new F150. Minor issues but I. had to make an appointment. William Pannier was my service advisor. This dude is great! Very pleasant guy and great customer service skills. He addressed each of my issues and took the extra time to educate me on Ford Pass and screen mirroring. This particular experience is why I will be back and recommend this service department to anyone who asks. Thanks William!
Took my vehicle there to get a stuck sunroof repaired and a 50,000 mile service. Was told it would be 400.00 plus the service fee. Fine. After waiting almost 6 hours and hounding my service person I was told it was going to be another 30-45 minutes. Ok. Welp that didn’t happen. They gave me a loaner and told me it would be ready on Monday (they were having some issues). Fast forward to Monday and I get an email with a bill for $4,000 to approve. After battling that with them for 9 weeks because I know they did more damage in the back which costed me more money in the end I FINALLY pick up my vehicle to find out that I have no power in my passenger side door, driver side door and my entire floor is flooded. After performing a Chinese fire drill in downtown st Pete in a dress from my Brand new $2500 sunroof, I was heated.My truck has had 0 problems and now it’s had more problems than I can count. I took it back to them and I must say that William the manager has been Great to work with in regards to fixing the situation.I took my truck back last week because the check engine light turned on and it was shutting off while driving and my steering wheel has no power (the control system) after getting an estimate for another $1200 I decided to take it else where because I can’t truly believe the service staff in the back after everything that has happened. I took it to another dealership and they told me something completely different and that it’s all electrical. (Back to when my truck got flooded).Save yourself the time and hassle and go somewhere else for service.
Buying a car is not always the most fun experience, and it can be quite stressful at times. I have had some great experiences at dealerships in the past, but my experience with Ferman Countryside wins the award for the worst. I am not sure how a company with so many different dealerships across the Bay area can be such a disorganized, poor customer-focused mess. I didnt even make it to a test drive before I was gone. This was my first time in a Ferman dealership, and it will also be my last. Avoid.
It was great, Olta took great care of me as a customer. I had bought the car a couple months ago for my daughter but it had been sitting in the driveway not used. The min it was used the airbag light went off, Olta and her manager agreed they should take care of it for me and that is how you take care of your customer. I will always have it serviced at the dealer now.
Bait and switch advertising.I received an advertisement from Ferman saying Get up to 5,000 more than your Carfax History-based Value. Running through the valuation process on their website, they reported back to me that my cars Carfax value is $29,570.I went into the Ferman Ford dealership thinking that I would get an offer of something over 30k. I showed them their advertisement and the Carfax value reported to me from their website. They appraised my vehicle and came back with an offer of $29,400. To be clear, that is LESS than the Carfax value.I asked if there was something wrong with my vehicle and the guy said no, just that they use a different method for appraising vehicles. I asked if they looked up the Carfax value and he said no, they did not. He did try to point out that the advertisement says up to, which allows them to offer any amount they want. Yeah, I guess thats technically true, but come on Ferman, really? Why are you advertising it if you arent even going into that ballpark?
Recently bought a 2012 Toyota Tacoma used from Ferman Ford. I live 1 hrs away, I drove all that way for a reasonably desirable truck. The experience talking with the associates was good. They gave me a decent offer for my trade, which was nice of them. But there was some apparent issues with the truck that I brought to the attention of the salesman and the sales manager (they said they couldnt do anything). I visually inspected the vehicle and found the drive shift carrier bearing had excessive play, the tire light was flashing (indicating a faulty sensor), the front tires were excessively chopped, the truck had a pull to the right (after it was supposedly aligned). So against my better judgment I purchased the truck while coming out of pocket a substantial amount. The day after I go to my shop and start doing a thorough inspection of the truck. (I am an ASE master certified technician). I found all that I listed above but not only is the bearing in the drive shaft bad it needs the entire drive shaft, there is a technical service bulletin. The drivers side outer tie rod end nut is loose causing the drivers front wheel the have play (major safety concern), which should have been found during the inspection in the shop before t was sold. The tires are far to gone and must be replaced because on the way back from Ferman ford I could not drive above 55 mph due to the vibration from the tires. (couldnt be felt on test drive because truck was driven on residential roads speed limit 45mph). the vehicles alignment was completely out of specification even after their techs supposedly aligned it.all and all the truck needs about 3,000 worth of parts and labor to be in a drive-able condition. not happy with the experience and will not be purchasing another vehicle from Ferman Ford.
I am from Ontario and had an issue with my panoramic moon/sunroof on my 2015 f150. I took it to Ferman Ford and the service department was excellent to deal with. My service advisor was William. He was courteous and efficient and although I was not a regular customer, treated me with the utmost professionalism. He kept me informed in regards to my warranty claim which for some reason took Ford Motor Company 5 days to approve and gave me a new Ford Edge as a loaner. Within 2 days of having my claim approved, my truck was completed. The technician that did the work did a great job and left my truck in the condition I left it in. I cant say enough about the service at Ferman Ford.
Everyone seems overwhelmed and over worked. The issue with my car was going to cost more than $2k. When I said I needed to get an oil change his response to me was are you sure, this is already more than$2k? Like I couldnt afford it or that I didnt already process that before I asked.
Purchase of 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500. During my visit I was not greeted by any staff as I walked in to dealership. I walked the car and at no time did anyone ask me if I had any questions. After I emailed management with an offer I did receive a call from a salesmen named John McVay. We began to negotiate on the vehicle. A few days past and they seemed to believe I was a ghost buyer. I stopped in and said I am real and ready to buy. Later that night they decided to sell me the car. I have bought a lot of cars and they dont seem like they want to sell cars here. I also discovered a few days after purchase when the windows were tinted that I had a few fish eyes and flaws in clear coat on hood and fender. Ferman did nothing and to this day doesnt care about customers who spend money on cars. You would think a shelby would be a car Ford and Ferman would be concerned about as its one of the top models they make. I just bought a new 2021 Super Duty from another dealer because I dont like being treated this way.
I brought my 2015 Mustang in for a complete vehicle inspection and intermediate service on 03/19/2021. I was told my vehicle was in good shape but it needed to have the battery replaced as it had failed a load test. I replaced the battery the same day and all was good. This cost me $385.71. Less than a week later, 03/23/21, a check engine light came on my dash. I took my vehicle to Autozone and the scanner they use detected an error code of P0442, a small leak in my EVAP system. I brought my vehicle back to Ferman Ford on 03/24/21. They advised me that it would be best to leave my vehicle overnight as they had to complete an EVAP test and in order to do so the engine needed to be cool. I took their advice and left my vehicle. The next day they called and advised me that my EVAP purge valve, and EVAP charcoal canister with vent solenoid needed to be replaced. I had them complete the recommended repairs which cost me $1,181.83. Ferman Ford also stated that my Cabin filter, transmission fluid, and alignment need to be replaced/done. All of which was stated to be in good shape and not in need of replacement during the inspection I had done on 03/19/21. I declined to have those extra services done as I trusted the initial inspection. I was advised my vehicle was done and I picked it up on 03/26/21. All was fine until on 03/29/21 my check engine light came back on and is reading the same error code as before. P0442, a small EVAP leak detected. I had just paid over $1,100 dollars to have this same issue taken care of. It seems the inspection of my vehicle on 03/19/21 was not done correctly and the repair I paid over $1,100 for was also not done correctly. This was the first vehicle I have brought to Ferman Ford. I expected more and I am highly disappointed. I would like to speak with the dealership about rectifying this situation but am unsure about trusting their recommendations and quality of work at this point. Walker Ford or Autonation Ford in St Petersburg might be better options to take your vehicle to for yearly maintenance/repairs.
2018 - I purchased my 2014 Ford Fusion from this dealership and I received a fantastic, honest and transparent deal. Since then, I go to Ferman Ford for any of my major service needs (of which there have been few). This time I took it in to change my brake pads, something that was brought to my attention when I was having an oil change at a tire place (a mistake I will never make again). Ferman charged me $205 dollars less than this discount place. I waited for my service to be completed, which is was in record time, comfortably from the wait room equipped with free beverages. Cameron, my repair associate was amazing and I have had zero issues. I want to thank Ferman for their amazing service and sales people.2017 - I purchased my car from this location (and had a great experience) and recently due to a small accident had to bring my car in for repair. They did a great job, kept me totally updated throughout the entire process! When I got my car back (I think it was even cleaned for me) there was absolutely no indication that there was ever any damage. Great Ford Dealership, Great Service and Collision Dept.
I bought my first car here. I kept getting denied at buy here pay here’s and I decided to try a dealership. Rob and Sam went above and beyond helping me get approved for the car that I wanted. The finance manager, Frank was great too. They were very straight forward about everything! Very easy process as a first time buyer. Thank you a million times!

Just Wow!Called a few other dealers searching for a Mini - same old hard-sell - they wanted my name “for their records” then they wanted my address “for my file,” my phone number 🤥 “in case we get cut off” - I’m surprised they didn’t ask for a COVID passport 🤣In stark contrast, Dean was unassuming, only requested in-the-interest-of-the-customer, on a need-to-know basis and his reciprocal communication was immediate, concise and relevant. Absolutely nothing urged me to jump to the next dealer on my list.Between texting, a prior dealer called back using the “we got cut off” excuse - ☠️ Dead in the water…. 2022-03-14Decided to bring my vehicle here to be serviced after some poor experiences at another Ford dealership. I was very impressed with the customer service from the time I got checked in, until I was processed and got my keys back to head home. Will was my service manager, and I even discussed trade in options with Nate. Both gentlemen were very professional and courteous. I was so happy to have a pleasant experience regarding my vehicle today. I would recommend Ferman to anyone!

Jason bray went above and beyond to find me exactly what I wanted. Once he found me exactly what I was looking for he then place me in finance with Nabil. Again he was amazing I felt like I was in and out in no time. Beyond happy that it didn’t take all day. 2021-10-30Its been a few months and big thanks andshout out to the friendly Ferman Ford folks.My Ford, Gold certified 2019 Roush RS3 Mustang is the nicest Mustang yet and the sixth. These pros are worth the time to see their inventory, and i never would have made the deal but for the trade value they gave me on my older heavily modified Mustang and a military discount ! Good job !

2022-04-26Love this dealership! Gave us a very fair offer on our trade and a great deal on an Expedition. We drove down from Ocala and Dominick had all the paperwork ready to go. The best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They even entertained our toddlers while we were signing paperwork! We will be back!
