The problem is this store ran out of tile told me they would order for me and have them sent ... week later I check come to find out the cashier had no idea they didnt deliver! I came week later looking for my tile they said I needed to go drive 2 hours 2 pick up mu order that I ordered to be delivered to Orlando location not one time through the order process was I told I had to pick them up from a location 2 hours away ! Cost me valuable time and money! Great products horrible communication.
Management team is really bad, I stop buying from here. I had 9 boxes of laminate to return and rain on me on my way to the store. The managers refused to returned all of them without checking. If Home Depot or Lowes they would support and give a percentage back or store credit. I would highly recommend going to Home depot or Lowes in case you are buying big quantities and expect to return some. They have no support to their customers.
It has all the schluter things for all your schluter needs! Also well priced nice tile that just goes on forever! The store workers were efficient, communicative, helpful, and charming. I love buying from there and will be back soon for more flooring! I am a huge fan 🙌
We have loved and used Orlandos Floor & Décor for many years. We shopped at the original location and now the new, larger building is just awesome. Fantastic selection and super helpful employees. They have great value! And shopping her really is fun. The store is clean and well stocked . . . and just awesome. We have and do and will recommend Floor & Décor for many years.
Sarah Banarsee in the design center was incredible when we met back in November. She was patient, sweet, and gave us excellent recommendations. When we came back for another part she helped us make sure it matched and that we had all we needed.Everyone we asked qas helpful. There was also an incredible gentleman that helped us pick the gold Schluter edge trim. Its a great store and well be back for more projects!
Today I wanted to buy the ceramics for my bathroom the decorator did not want to help me because I did not have an appointment, I wanted to know some prices and I asked an employee I tried several times with a telephone and could not give me the price, I wanted to apply for the credit card and no one helped me either. I wanted to buy but I will have to go somewhere else. I do not recommend it
UPDATE: I made the mistake of actually purchasing some Travertine from them. I brought in a very large sample to match. Three associates agreed that the item matched. After picking up the tiles I find out that I had polished Travertine and this was honed and filled. The color was also very off. On top of that terrible mistake the tiles were not squared and my installer said he couldnt install. I had to pay my installer for both pick up and delivery. I am now out $200 and the job still is not done. Stay away from this company!!!!!Tried multiple times to speak to someone after giving the proper prompts and then no one answers after a few rings and then you are disconnected. No way to do business! I found tiles I really want after being in the store a couple of days ago, but if this is the way they do business, I may have to go elsewhere. How many bad reviews fur shoddy customer service does this place need to get before they change?
The Sanford store was out of the tile I was looking for, they called here to check the stock and sent me here. The staff at this store (Orlando) was terrible, they did not have the tile in stock, and after we chose a different tile finding anyone to help was an impossible task, I needed 29 boxes of tile and after asking for help all I was given was a box cutter to cut open the banding on the 2nd pallet of tile, they wouldnt even do that! The saving grace was Chase and Fernando at the Pro desk, they were actually very helpful finding and recommending the thinset, grout and schluter edging we needed. I hope to never have to back here, and hope you dont have to either.
Nice selection of tiles but no one really acknowledges you or make sure youre finding your items had to ask a young gentleman for his help which he did. Also an associate kept burping on the sales floor which it was very loud and disgusting she did say excuse me but still very unprofessional.
This was my first time in a floor and Decor store. I was a bit confused on the layout . I entered through the side of the building and the Lady behond the desk was nice and was able to send me in the right direction. The had a good Variety of styles for tiles. Iwas able to find what i was looking for with the help from staff. They were helpful and didnt mind showing me which area had what i was looking for.
The store is a mess, asked for help was basically told, all the signs has the information on them. Ms. Selena was most helpful with tracking down my order and a very nice youngman in pro services finally escorted me to customer service for assistance. Too many workers on staff standing around for phones to ring with no answer. They all seem to disappear when you walk towards them. Mr. Brad youve got to do better with your employees.
I just went today for backsplash tile, so I just browses a small portion of the store. My kitchen colors are warm browns and taupes and I only found a few that I liked. I was surprised frankly. There was a lot of gray and white. But they had a lot to choose from, including accent tiles and some designer touches. There is also multiple mock ups at the front of the store that are beautiful. I know u will be able to find whatever u need.
Maria Giraldo makes this place! Designer, communicator between dispatch, online order SHE does it all and takes pride in delivering service! She doesn’t even get commission from my massive order (over $20k) and still helps when all other departments are clueless. She rocks and makes this place work. I would have given 1 star if she didn’t help.
Prices and selection are great. Staff very helpful but obviously very short staffed. Cant find a cart, staff always trying to help multiple people at a time and check out line is horrendous. Took almost 40 in line. If prices and selection are worth losing previous time, then this is the place if not may not be worth the hassle.
I am very pleased with my experience at Floor and Decor. We were gutting our master bath and Estefania helped me pick out everything I needed within my budget and according to what I wanted. My bathroom looks amazing today with a combination of marble, hexagon tiles, and porcelain for the floors. Thanks Estefania!
Worst costumer service. Bought some stones. Went for a pickup. Arrived 5 pm. The email said closes 7 pm. The manager could not honor the email or the website. They did not have the capability to pick up 19 boxes. I took a cart and did my self. Why have a pickup service if you don’t honor. Bad attitude. Bad service. Always blaming covid. Get over.
The floor in decor in Orlando never picks up the phone. My son picked up part of his flooring order, they installed the floors and they told him baseboards were picked up too, but they weren’t! They said they would look at the cameras and let him know within 24 hours. I’ve called and they told me they would check cameras too. Never buy from them! It’s been over 6 weeks now!!!!!!
They need more people to help the client...the TV commercial is fantasy...to much products but no easy information...the sales people almost scape from you isle by isle. The only grate exception is the oriental accent lady in the cashier area (sorry I dont recall her name who expend with you all time you need and is very knowledge. Thanks!
First time in this store and have to say wow what a big selection they have! I finally after a while going in circles with the hubby made my decision and our bathroom came out gorgeous!!! Thanks to floor and Decor!!!! I know I will be shopping here more often due to the remodeling of our home, I seen some of the other reviews and I feel like sometimes knowing that this is a busy store we can’t get help if we need it at that moment but having patience is a BIG key in life,,,, and just waiting our turn I can almost guarantee you someone will help you!! In my eyes you all are great!!!!! Keep it up😊
We had an outstanding experience yesterday, with the help of Alan. He was very knowledgeable. They didnt have enough of the bamboo flooring that we wanted in stock, so he went through inventory of other stores in the area and is having it shipped to their store. He could have just told us come back later and maybe theyll have it, but he went the extra step and is having it transferred for us. You cant beat the price either.
We went to F and D Orlando to look at a vinyl wood plank floor we saw on line and found it did not like it but we found a vinyl stone look tile we did like so we found a sales man Danny who was great help in purchasing it and we also purchased another stone look vinyl tile by remote buy from there Gainsville store which Danny was very help full but when we checked out the order got messed up that is when Jalene at the front of store fixed it so it took longer to check out then it should have so the next day I went to pick up my order which went very well then I went in to add to my order from Gainsville I saw Jalene so I waited till she was done with another check out and she took care of the add on order and I was in and out picking up my order and checking out very quickly and I got my order in two days all was great thanks to Danny and Jalene thanks
I love coming here to purchase flooring for my house. Back in November I came spent $3000 a little over on floor tile the workers are exceptional they are so nice and friendly and loves to help out. I came back again just a couple weeks ago to buy all the tile for my bathrooms and one of the workers named Jonathan helped me out during the whole procedure of being A person that can’t make decisions right off the bat, he helped on what tile to pick for my floors, for my walls, for my shower floor.; his work was Great he helped me throughout everything and I honestly appreciate it so much he made every trip worthwhile. So if you guys are looking for someone to buy tails laminate shower decorations like vanity or backsplash this is your guy 100% recommend it this place overall is great with people customer service is amazing
Shouldve read the reviews before doing business with them!! This store has the most incompetent, rude, and lazy employees that Ive ever seen!! The constant CYA that they do is baffling also!! When my wife and I first purchased our flooring they said that EVERYTHING was in stock! Well, once we get there to pick it up they were missing items!! 2 trips to the store, and still dont have a full order!!! Oh, and dont try and get them on the phone you will be on hold for 45 plus minutes!!! What a joke of a company!!! Never do business with company!!! EVER!!!
Beyond frustrated!I went into the Colonial store, paid for tiles, and was told that I would need to pick them up the next day because they were closing soon and no one would get a palate down for me so close to closing. Turned up the next day only to be told that they did not, in fact, have enough tiles for me. Waited an hour while they checked Sanford location. Finally told that I could pick up tiles at Sanford location. DROVE ALL THE WAY TO SANFORD and surprise, surprise...... they cannot fulfil an order from Orlando without an appointment!!! So, I have no tiles. In a text message asked for Colonial branch to contact me...still waiting, so not holding my breath on that one. Called Sanford again but phone just rang and rang without a response..... and I have no tiles. Only wish I had seen the poor reviews before going there, but at least I know better now, and can save someone else the hassle and frustrating customer experience.
We had a great experience at Floor and Decor in Orlando. We had many questions which Ray patiently answered. He guided us with the correct products to use. He compared products so we understood why he was recommending certain products. He gave us excellent service and ideas! The cashier that helped us was very accommodating. Her name is Jianaliz. She went above and beyond because we had some issues that needed to be addressed. Also the manager we spoke with was very helpful too. His name was Mike. Unfortunately I cannot remember his last name. I think it was Mike R. Thanks to all of you for making our experience once again at Floor Decor a win!
Bought many times at floor and decor. Today I had a question that the cashier couldnt answer so I asked for a manager who was extremely RUDE and before I could get a straight answer from HIM he just turned and walked away from me. This was at the floor and decor on Colonial drive. I suppose you are so little to him that he has no time for you
Don’t go to this store unless you’re prepared to be severely annoyed and given the run around. We needed one stair nose to complete our flooring renovation, and the color that matched our floor choice needed to be specially ordered as it is not carried at the store. We initially went in the beginning of March and spoke to an associate about ordering, he gave us all of the information - or so we thought - and told us to come back in April for pick up. He printed out a paper with all of the product information and also hand wrote the info on the paper. When we went back in April, a different associate said there was no order ever placed for us. We gave her the paperwork we had and she told us that was just the part information. Not sure why we would just want the part information and not for them to order it in the first place? So the new associate ordered it for us after making us feel like it was our fault it hadn’t been ordered yet, and told us it would be another 3 weeks. It did not take quite 3 weeks, but when we went back today to pick up the part, we waited about 15 minutes to be acknowledged at the pick up counter. When I questioned if it was the right part upon receiving the box, I was given attitude by the associate. The box is about 8 ft long and much longer than I anticipated for one stair nose, so I just wanted to make sure it was correct considering what we had already experienced with this store. Customer service is severely lacking here. We’ve had much better service at the Sanford store and will only be going there if needed in the future.
I have mixed feelings about Floor and Decor. By far the best selection of tile and stone.However they seem to have a staffing issue. It takes forever to checkout or return. My husband refuses to go here, but I wanted the travertine.Once you get to the cashier everything is fine but they definitely need to do better.
Online order area was extremely unorganized. Employees in online order pick up area seemed bothered to help customers and careless. Identification was not requested until our order was already placed in the bed of our pick up truck. We would have been better off taking 19 boxes of tiles off the shelf and moving them ourselves on a flat bed. Will not do online order pick up again in future.The only helpful employee inside the store was Ian!
I recently try to purchased some vinyl planks for my new floor, and online status show they have enough boxes to fill my order, so I ordered it online. But I did not get any notice for pickup after few days, s I gone not the store to ask, and was told they dont have enough to fill my order. So I change my order to something they have in store, and was told it will be ready for pickup next day. But I was only able to pick up partial order the next day,, as they again dont have enough to fill my order. When I try to talk to the person in store, I was told they did put aside my order, but the warehouse made the mistake and therfor they cant do anything about it. After multiple trips to the store, I was told rest of my order was transferred to other store to be filled, so I have to drive an addition hour to the other store to pick up rest of my order. I will not recommend purchase from this company again, as they are not very well organized, and no one is willing to take responsibility for the mistakes that was made.
This review is strictly based on the 2 employees that assisted. Otherwise, it would be much lower.My sister and I took two trips to this location on Saturday (9/11). The store was very busy and most of the employees were walking by NOT attempting to assist any customers. On my first trip, one gent (forgot to catch his name) did wind up seeing us standing in front of the product and asked if we needed help, we graciously accepted. He not only helped us gather the product, he helped push the items up to the registers. Outside, Keith was of great assistance with loading my vehicle.Id like to point out, my sister and I are females small in stature.On my second return trip that same day, shortly after the first trip, I had hoped to find the same gent that assisted us the first time. However, he must have left for the day and we winded up loading the very heavy tile onto the cart ourselves. Again, employees were walking by as if they didnt want to assist. They even noticed us getting the tile boxes ourselves and still did not offer assistance. We pushed the items to the registers ourselves, we even asked the cashier to call a loader to the front to help us. That was a waste of time because no one came to help. Even after asking one of the cashiers to request assistance again. Luckily, Keith was outside helping another customer, so we went on out and waited for him to get done to assist us. He was more than gracious to see us back again and to offer his assistance. Give this man a raise!! He was the only person willing and happy to be working for his paycheck. Now that I recall, he greeted us as we walked into the store on the first trip and he made an effort to speak to all customers entering the store WHILE loading cars. This is the type of customer service you want in an employee!
Very few employees available on the sales floor to assist. Long lines at the registers, not sure if the process is long or the cashiers were slow. Asked for help to load the flooring materials purchased but the help never came. Waited 15 minutes, took 20 minutes loading and nobody came to help.When trying to make a return there were 5 people in line, only 1 person doing the returns. Spent over an hour there and observed only 2 cashiers with a long line of customers trying to cash out. Heard a few ask for help loading and noticed that they had to load themselves.Positive about this place is they have a good assortment of items and ample parking.
Went the store today to pick up a small order of aluminum trim I made online a few days ago. Was lectured by Lisa in pick up how I need to learn to read and that my order wasn’t picked yet…I mean a couple of pieces of trim what’s the big deal? She then mocked me for just asking why they couldn’t just get it for me. Been here a bunch of times, spent tens of thousands, not looking for any special treatment or not that I’m some kind of big deal. I’m not but (same as Lakeland store) general attitude of the staff is they are doing you a favor. Whole customer service attitude of this company stinks. Shame as they have bide choices and good prices but just extremely unhelpful.
I wish there was a way to give two rating, one for supply/inventory and one for customer service, but since there isnt I will just explain my experience. I would give 5 stars for inventory and negative stars if it were possible for customer service.Customer service I would give negative stars if it were possible. I asked 4 employees for help, the employees appeared to be available, no customer near them or moving around they were working. Once I located them and asked for help, they said yeah let me get someone to help you and then never came back. Then to top it off, I went over to the design area to ask for help there, again there were two employees standing talking. I had to interrupt them and asked for help, one of them grabbed her things and walked away quickly, the other just looked at me. I then said Well I guess they dont want to help us either. The one that walked away spoke very rudely and explained it is by appointment only and she was going on her lunch break and she didnt want to help us anyways, the other lady there was the manager so talk to her. The manager did not reprimand the employee for speaking that way to the customer, did not offer an apology or anything, just stood there and said well, how can I help you? I was furious at this point, I said no thank you and walked away.The only person that was kind enough to help was a nice young gentleman in the stone area he answered all of our questions about tile, vanitys and grout.I was happy with the selection of materials, wide variety and large stock, but with how poor the customer service is, I will be shopping at another store.
UPDATE 07/27:The manager of the store reached out to me to address the issues I listed. He had just gotten started at the store a few weeks prior, and is fully aware of the issues I had listed below. He had assured me he is aiming to resolve all of the issues below in the coming months. Time will tell!-----ORIGINAL:A few reasons for this review:1. When searching through this store, it will give you a glimpse into how disorganized it really is. Trying to navigate through the vinyl plank section, we found often times that the signs for products did NOT correlate with actual products. Samples were often mismatched with other products. Price-tags near a wall-display may reflect a product across the aisle. Complete mess of a shopping experience.2. After finding a product I actually liked, I decided to place an online order for delivery. 7-10 days to arrive? No problem. After 5 days, I hadnt gotten any confirmation regarding a delivery schedule. Tried calling to get an idea of what may be happening, no one picks up the phone for 10 minutes. I try calling the next day, and again, NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE. This happens again and again. On the 4th attempt (4 different days), I finally am connected to someone at the store. After 3 phone transfers, Im finally able to get my delivery scheduled. They hadnt even scheduled a delivery at this point, and it was day 10. Customer service is absolutely abysmal.3. The reason Im giving this a 2 star and not a 1 star is strictly due to the delivery service itself. The delivery driver was very kind and helpful with unloading the over 2000lbs of product.I will never do business with this location again, and will definitely think twice about doing business with any Floor & Decor going forward.
We had the best experience last night at Floor & Decor on Colonial and it was all thanks to Hermi. She was AMAZING! She was super helpful, gave us wonderful advice and was a calming presence. We had to get everything for a master bath remodel and she helped us every step of the way.If Hermis managers are reading this, then you need to take what she is doing and model the rest of your employees after her actions. Truly an awesome experience.Disclaimer: I dont know Hermi, but Im grateful to have met her!
7/10/21 was my first time ever in Floor & Decor. I knew what I wanted to look for however the store was so big and I didn’t know how to look for what I needed. I asked various staff for help but they just pointed me down isles to go and when I asked questions no one really seemed helpful in my opinion. I was stressed out quite a bit as it was my first time remodeling my kitchen and I needed help. As I stood dumbfounded looking at different tiles a sales person named Marlon approached me and asked if I needed some help in finding what I needed. He was a godsend and I found out he had only been with the company two months. He excelled in math so he could figure exactly how much tile I needed for my bathrooms and he even helped me with colors. I ended up leaving with two tile pics and everything that I needed to have for my contractors.Marlon should be recognized as in my eyes he’s a great asset to your company and as long as I’ve been working in the business world any company would want an employee like Marlon.Thank you Marlon and when I’m back in your store I will look for you!
Be Aware! The lack of staff will have you waiting for hours, no answers to calls. You can pay for your materials, and they sell to someone else (while waiting for delivery). Incompetents, Disorganized. Beyond discouraged with the whole experience. Went to the store, bought 7k of flooring. Layed eyes on the pallets. Organized the delivery. Next thing you know, they call me that the pallets were given to someone else and have to wait 1.5 weeks more for the floor.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. If you have to modify or cancel your order it is impossible to get customer service, looks like non existant. All the money they make they cant hire adequate customer service reps. Ordered a vanity online and the incorrect location 150 miles away was preselected. It has taken many hours on hold to get through to customer service. Online chat no representatives available. 10 am and been on hold due to high call volume, same as 4pm yesterday. I dont think they have anyone on the phone working customer service. NOT WORTH IT. Only option is to fill out forms to customer service.
I would say their customer service is terrible.... but it seems to be nonexistent. So much so that we decided to get the flooring for 90% of our house elsewhere. Unfortunately they have a specific tile that we want for our bathroom and kitchen. But now it’s been 2 days past our pickup date(don’t give dates you can’t fulfill) and it is impossible to get ahold of anyone to find out why our order isn’t being pulled. The phone just rang for 45 minutes and no one answers. At this point, I think I’m just going to cancel this order.They have everything in stock at that location, so I don’t understand how it could take so long to pull a handful items. The whole point of doing the online order is to avoid the ridiculously slow checkout lines they have, especially when you have to make a 45 minute drive to get there. But it looks like their staff is incapable of even pulling the smallest of orders in a reasonable amount of time.Update: First the owners comment below is wrong it was not a same day pick up... but also it shouldnt matter what pick up was selected. If a company cant fulfill orders according to the times they provide, thats their fault. Also nobody at anytime ever reached out to me to try and resolve the issue.Actual update: I was able to finally get ahold of someone in the warehouse and they told me that my order was going to be ready they just had to pull one more item off the show floor. They said it would be ready for pick up 3 hours from the time we were on the phone(most likely meaning they hadnt pulled any of my order yet). So I arrived 4 later to give them extra time, then had to wait for an extra 45 minutes to get my order. There was one person in line ahead of me and they were gone after 5 minutes, the other 40 minutes were spent pulling my order because they still somehow did not manage to do so. I know thats what they were doing because watched them search around then finally load up the pallet.So as stated before, this place is terrible.
I went with my wife and dog. The dog had the time of her life. People stopped and pet her and she freaking loved it. The wife and I got a lot of awesome ideas for our guest bathroom remodel. Were excited to come back and purchase the goods when we figure out the finished design. The staff was super helpful and involved and we appreciated that.
I want to like this place, but they make it tough. The people are nice and the selection of tile/materials is massive, but doing business with them is difficult. Placed an order online on Monday for pick-up the next day, never get a notification that the order is ready Tuesday. Call Wednesday to see whats going on, no answer - just rings and rings and rings. Same thing Thursday. I let it ring for probably 5-minutes on Friday and someone finally answered and let me know they still havent bothered to pick my order and theyll do it tomorrow.And if corporate is going to try and ask for information regarding this review; I tried contacting you guys when I couldnt reach the store and there was no response from you either.
I’ve had the most exhausting experience with Floors and Décor. I ordered a 12 foot butcher board counter top more than a month ago. I was told there was none in the store and that it will arrive in two weeks and I would receive a phone call. After the third week I tried to call but nobody picked up the phone. I attempted 4 more times with no answer so I just decided to take my truck and trailer and go pick it up. When I got there it was busy and everyone was nice. was told that the butcher board counter top had not showed up at the port. I was completely understanding and the manager told me he would order it from another store and it would arrive the following week. I was willing to wait no problem I’m an understanding person. I never received a call that it arrived once again so I called and again no answer on the pro desk. It just rang and rang and then went back to customer service rep who asked me what department I told her the pro desk so she patched me through and once again the phones rang and rang it went back to the customer service desk and she asked me again what department I told her the pro desk before I can tell her they didn’t answer she put me through again. And at that point I just hung up. And took my truck and trailer to the store. I was told I had to make an appointment in order to pick it up. I kindly explained to the person at The receiving desk that I’ve been waiting a month for this countertop can you please get it out to me. And thankfully she said yes.And they brought out the butcher board I was excited to have this so I can finish my home project. Unfortunately when it was brought out the box had been shredded and they were 2 big gashes on both sides of the butcher block and it was evident the was damaged, so I told them I was not going to take them so they told me they would order me another one and it would be another week. So now it’s been 5 weeks. I get a phone call 4 days later which surprised me because this is the first time they actually called me. I was told In the message that the butcher board had arrived after like 4 days. I was a bit skeptical because the receiving people told me it would not arrive for at least a week. And of course I tried to call them and you already know what happened nobody picked up. I decided to take a day off of work So I can pick it up and finish my project.When I get there I go to the receiving area I told them I received a phone call that my butcher counter top had arrived. She told me I was called by mistake the person who called me didn’t see that it was written on the computer that the counter top was damaged. Basically I wasted my time going there. Had they answered the phone, I would have not wasted my time. BTW, the phone rings and rings and rings, nobody answers the phone. So now here we are going on week 6 and no counter top. If it wasn’t because they have the exact one I need I would have bought it somewhere else. I would rather paid more at Home Depot or Lowes and saved myself the time and horrible customer service experience Ive had at Floor and Décor. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with the way things are handled. No organization, communication or efforts to provide good service. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. I do not recommend Floor and Décor.
Good selection. Absolutely TERRIBLE service. When I was placing my order, the guys acted as though he didnt even want to be there. After ordering about 4,000 dollars in tile and flooring... after order arrived: They did not include all flooring paid for. Missing about 1/3 of my order. I had to call the store over 4 times to get someone to help. Bianca transfered me to another person where I was on hold as they were checking for my order after holding for an hour- @ 7:07pm and hung up on me. So basically they had me on hold until store closed to hang up and unable to call back because now is after 7pm and they are now closed. Total time on the phone calls was over 2 hours without resolution. I am extremely disappointed. Think about this before you pick this place.

Bad customer service. My order was supposed to be pick up on Saturday and still not there. If you try to get them on the phone is impossible. You will wait 20plus minutes on the phone and no one will pick up. They never call you to let you know if your order is ready. What a joke.
Hello! If you are looking to purchase bamboo or wood floors, ask for Mr. Dan. He is absolutely the best! Great personality, very knowledgeable and friendly. My first visit there no one asked me if I needed help and after 30 minutes, I left the store. Well I decided to go back hoping for better results! Mr. Dan is the man! As he was stacking the lower shelves, he asked me, “can I help you?” From that day and three visits later Mr. Dan is the only person I look to assist me. Thank you, Mr. Dan? Oh yeah, I can not forget about Micheal the manager from that same Department - Thank you for taking time out your business schedule to to speak to me about that warehouse issue and your generous gesture. I run a busy granite shop in WP Florida. Ive been known to send customers to Floor & Decor for tile....Ill never do that again. Currently trying to pick up a laid for tile order for a customer. Order is PAID for but still 5 boxes and 20 singles short.DO NOT DO buisness with anyone that double sells their inventory without so much as a pbone call to the buyer to let them know theyre now short. Add insult to injury, the dock crew are by and far slow, unmotivated, and rude... Making ppl move around to get loaded for no reason, just to flex.Tried to get information from the workers about the now short order and the attitude was very close to laughing in my face.Ill never suggest this vendor for material again and will activly talk ppl out of using them
This particular Orlando store has a great Pro-Service Customer Care Team. My husband’s Custom Home Building company recently started doing business with F&D. We had a BIG problem with a defective floor tile that was delivered for a new custom home. The tile was defective due to a manufacturer’s error, and it only came evident after the installation of almost 2K sf. We filed a claim to get reimbursed for the cost to remove and re-install a different tile given the defective product. All I have to say is that the Pro-Service Team was EXCEPTIONAL. KUDOS to ANGEL and BRAD who worked tirelessly to get a resolution to this issue. It took almost 3 months and after multiple inspections of the new home and being evident that it was the manufacturer’s responsibility; Corporate agreed to reimburse the costs incurred (which by the way was a very large sum). All of this was possible thanks to their Pro-Service team, specifically Angel Medina and Brad Harvey, who avidly advocated for us. I definitely recommend doing business with this store if you are in the home-building industry. They have a large inventory, have unbeatable prices and their Pro-Service team is the best!!
Amazing place with many options for any kind of project, even tho they are sometimes understaffed they tried there best to get someone for you even tho ive been there for almost an hour once someone got to me, Gio was able to help me find the tile i wanted and helped recommended things that would match and pushed the cart everywhere, and helped me put it into my truck, i will definitely be coming back in the future.
Visited on 9/11/21 and received phenomenal customer service by Aleix. He helped me select everything I needed for my bathroom remodel project and helped me load it in my car. Huge selection. Great prices too. Highly recommend. Aleix was superb. I can’t say enough about how helpful he was. I will definitely be back to see you Aleix for all my other projects!
I will NEVER buy anything from Floor and Decor again. We placed an online order and scheduled it to be picked up 1 week later. We NEVER received an online confirmation. We showed up at the scheduled date and were told by the: We dont pull the order until you show up to pick it up. You are going to have to come back tomorrow.We should have canceled the order at that moment, but didnt because we really liked the tile. We showed next day and nobody knew anything, the order wasnt ready, and had to approach multiple people to get some assistance. So we decided to cancel the order which necessitated us to make another trip back to the store because nobody answers the phone.The tile is nice, but the costumer service is horrendous. This is the tile equivalent of the DMV... I will NEVER buy anything from this franchise ever again.
Placed an order online of a product in stock that said it would be ready that day. More than 3 days later it’s still not ready and at this particular store they do NOT answer their phone. Spent 4 hours yesterday calling and getting a ring tone endlessly for the “operator” no answer. Tried the online chat and it’s a robot with no real person to answer.
Super honest and kind staff! Keith not only gave us an education on what we needed for our project, he guided us through the entire process and pointed out items we would need to successfully complete the project! However, a picture is worth a thousand words. After much discussion, instruction and (unfortunately) heavy lifting, we showed Keith where we were going to install our beautiful new tile and he informed us that porcelain tile (our tile) was not appropriate:(So in conclusion, a Floor & Decor employee was so committed to our desired outcome and success that he helped us to understand that what we needed was a product they didn’t even sell!! Amazing! This is CUSTOMER SERVICE at its finest!! Floor & Decor in Orlando has a large collection of flooring and design items that they won’t let you take home and mess up!!! Stop in and say hello to Keith! We will certainly recommend and continue to shop at Floor & Decor in Orlando!
David and Samuel from the Pro services were amazing! They were willing to help me with my purchase of 50 boxes of ceramic tile. Both of these gentlemen are truly great at customer service and I would hope that their bosses recognize their efforts to go the extra mile for a customer. I will continue shopping at floor and decor for years to come and recommend the store because of the service from Samuel and David!
We got to F&D last night at 7:05 to get additional tiles for our home thats being remodeled. The store was already closed (our fault for not checking their hours of operation). We explained to the Mgr on duty that we just needed 4 extra boxes of tiles if it is possible at all to check and make sure they are in stock so we dont drive back the next day for nothing. We were invited to go in with no issues at all and were able to find & purchase our extra boxes. Thank you for saving us another trip and for your great customer service.
Spent too much time here--employees and customers pretend to wear masks but dont cover their nose or wear them as chin guards. A floor is not worth your life.We asked an employee for details on Bamboo engineered flooring; he advised us that while it wasnt in stock, there were 100 boxes at the port in Savannah and they would be delivered in 5 days if ordered that day. We checked with our installer, and he wasnt happy, but re-arranged his schedule to accommodate that installation date (as a natural product, these materials require at least 5 days to acclimate to the installation environment, so we expected the installation to be in 10 days).When I hadnt heard from Floor and Decor in 5 days, I began calling...and calling...and calling. I figured that their phone system had been taken out by lightning, as no one ever picked up after the mandatory 3 minute recorded ramble. After 3 days I finally got a live employee, who told me the product would arrive in 10 days to two weeks. Yeah, you can imagine how furious I was.I spoke to the Operations Manager, Deborah, who said Im sorry you feel this way, which of course is exactly what they tell you never to say in HR 101. We got disconnected after she put me on hold, and she called me back at a random time and left a voicemail message asking me to call back. Of course I could NEVER get through. When I finally got through 3 days later, she wouldnt take my call but advised the lady with whom I was speaking to tell me the product was in.We will never shop here again.UPDATE: We drove over to pick up the flooring, following the instructions to drive around the back for delivery. We were second in line, with multiple cars behind us. Total wait time exceeded an hour. As we were waived to the dock there were another eight cars in line. The folks behind us were looking at a wait time around two hours. The employees were nice but as you can see this isnt a well-run operation.Ive purchased flooring from this company twice before, although those purchases were in their previous location. In both of those cases I remember being annoyed that it took 20 minutes for them to actually locate and deliver the materials to the loading dock. Talk about the good old days...Im not sure why this place has become so dysfunctional. It seems that as they morph into just another big box store that they are becoming unconcerned about their abysmal service, not being concerned at all about repeat business. Unless you can load it on a cart and haul it out of the store with you, this is not where you want to do business.
Carollyne in the design department at the Orlando store was absolutely wonderful to work with. Though I had already picked out my tile, Carol helped me select the best grout colors. Carol was quite efficient and knowledgeable about her store and the process of ordering and delivering the tile. Most importantly, she was incredibly helpful even after the order was placed when I needed to add to my order (she promptly returned my voicemail which goes a long way in customer service these days!). Things got complicated with my delivery too, and she went above and beyond helping me with that process, even when it wasnt her department. If you are thinking of design services, find Carollyne!
I have called this store 3X, I am currently on the third call. I selected the area and have been holding for over 27 mins and not one person has answered the phone. When I went to the store a few weeks ago to get some tile, every person that I asked for assistance told me they would find someone to help me ..guess what? No one came. Finally a young lady in a wheel chair is the one that gave me assistance. The service in person, phone and online is just terrible. I guess I have to back to Home Depot or Lowes since Floor & Decor employees dont have time for me
Can we give 0 stars? We attempted to order samples last month and havent heard a word since the original order confirmation email. In that time we found another Tile Shop in Orlando where the service was TOP NOTCH and they actually had what we were looking for so we simply just ordered from them instead of dealing with the non-existent customer service from Floor and Decor. Now I cant seem to find any way to cancel the order for the samples. Phone calls to their official contact us number and to the local store number both just ring and ring (and ring and ring and ring and ring). The corporate office support number rings until a Verizon message is played then it hangs up. Theyre chat option is useless (and is coded poorly to boot!) since they NEVER have anyone available to assist with anything. How does this place stay in business?With all of that said, I have reached out to their support via the contact us form and if I dont hear from them by tomorrow I will issue a dispute on my credit card side.
This location made me not want to shop with this company anymore. My issue was the assistance from staff on the loading dock not attempting to assist to load items into a trailer and yes they had the manpower to assist my brother because Im a disabled veteran. One better I went to their Gainesville location which is over 2 hours away & they treated us like we were valued customers. I was warned about the Orlando Fashion Square location but I didnt listen. Never again I rather drive to Sanford or Gainesville in the future or wait until the items I need arrive.
I went into the floor and decor on colonial, a block from maguire ave. Needed a small tub of mastic (wall mastic ) to finish out abo uh t ten more tile and the guy working commercial accounts tried to sell me a small tub for ninety dollars. I said i only needed the one gallon if the cheap stuff. He said they were all out. Only had the ninety dollar stuff. As i was headed out, i saw the stuff i needed. A couple ailes away. It was under $13. I am telling you this guy is trying to upsale where it is not needed. I am telling you if you go over his receipts, i bet he has scammed some of his commercial accounts for the more expensive stuff. Floor and decors has always treated me solid. This guy needs to go. Any time the company wants me to point him out, i will do it.
No customer service. Manager Mike is even worse. Went there to get some tile for my son’s home. Employee did not want to help. Had to tell him to demonstrate the different types of mortar and grout as I am not aware of the terms, I am not a professional tile installer or worker. Additionally, he was extremely aloof when speaking to us about how many boxes I would need for the job and the different types/ colors available for the grout. He then never told me his name so when he went to “call” another store to see if the tile I wanted was available, I could not find him. Then when he finally came to inform me that tile was not available in the Lakeland location, he didn’t even offer to find at a different location. I had to call myself and had Daniel from the Brandon location take my order over the phone. Went next day to pick up, in Brandon, and obtained my tile.Mike tried to excuse he employee and blamed the other location, “oh they just take so long to answer phone”. This was not correct I was helped in less than 5 minutes when I called. I will travel the 88 miles to the Brandon location and will not return to the Orlando location, that is how awful the customer service is at this location. Definitely need training in customer service!!!!
Terrible customer service by phone and online. I have been trying to use the website to place a order and it takes forever to load each page. I finally placed the order in the morning for same day pick up of 11 boxes of tile and was told to wait for an email to say that its ready before going to the store. The email never came. We are now into the next day and my tiler is waiting. Still no email. The phone number to call just places me on a musical hold saying lines are busy. I tried both yesterday and today and waited 45 mins, I tried again and waited 1 hour, no answer. The online order status says prepping and has remained in that status for 2 days now. There appears to be no way to find out if my order is ready or to speak to a human. The online chat assistant is a robot and says to check the website. If they are unable to facilitate online orders for pick up or to answer the phone, they should remove those options and declare themselves an in person only facility.UPDATE - The day after posting this review I did receive a voicemail from the store saying that they saw the review, located my order and my order was now ready for pick up. I was provided with a name and phone number to contact. I feel that the response was good and hope that they are able to resolve any online order issues and have someone to answer the main line provided on the website. The product and in store service is good. Ive changed my 1 star to a 3 star.
I want to recognize and thank Daniel K. @ the Pro Services Desk located in the Orlando Location of Floor & Decor for all of the thorough, awesome help and assistance that he has given to me throughout the nearly last 3 years of me shopping at this store. When I walk into Floor & Decor, he takes the time to greet me, meet with me and welcome me to the Pro Services Desk. Daniel always asks if there is anything he can help me find and answers my questions. In the event that he does not have the answer, he will inquire with his coworkers to get the information on the product and materials availability that I need. He has even gone so far to reach out and call me from time to time while I am working on my projects outside of the store, including when I was working down in the Caribbean, to see if there is anything that I need in the way of help or specific products and materials. Its just a really good feeling to walk into Floor & Decor, knowing that employees like Daniel will be there when you need them. I can depend on Daniel to go the extra mile, making sure I get all the materials and supplies that I need for my next upcoming job. To Steve and all the other managers @ The Orlando Location of Floor & Decor, keep hiring people like Daniel, and people like me will keep coming back as loyal, longtime customers.
0 star if I could. I have used this store three times. No difference in treatment any of the times. I would NEVER recommend my worst enemy to this place. Two of the three being out of necessity only that I used them. I will never go back to this place again. The Orlando location is single handily the worst place in the world for customer service. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I literally was yelled at today by the loading dock staff and told they were going to refuse to load my order for me. All because I took three steps away from the vehicle when they asked instead of four. Literally asked what I needed to do for them to load it and was told take one more step back. That was solely about trying to be in control of the customer. This all took place after waiting for 30min for someone to even assist me. You would think they would be more helpful to someone who has purchased $7000 worth of merchandise from them.
An excellent location for this chain as they have moved across the street to the Fashion Square area instead of the Colonialtown Plaza. This location is large and has a ton to offer. If you are redoing any room in your house, this is a must see! We arent redoing anything at the moment, but have considered updating the carpets in our house to tile or wood flooring. Ive never been a big carpeting fan, so Im always on the lookout for an upgrade on this.It has a very warehouse feel to it overall. They have clearly marked aisles and pricing signage. Youll also want to note that there are a few clearance sections throughout the store on while they last items.Overall: AGreat location for this chain and a must see for all persons that want to redo a room or get ideas!
I highly recommend any one that goes to this store should work with Lisa Fonseca. She is a great problem solver and very knowledgeable about their products and process. Despite some shipping and product issues with the store, I still feel that Lisa deserves a glowing review. She helped relieve a great amount of stress while I tackle a large home project. I had a good experience. They have a wide variety of products which you can choose the best that suits you and your needs. The price are very, the most mone you have the most good stuff you can buy. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because they can do beter!! The reason why I said that is because my order arrived and no buddy called me to come and pick it up, until I called asking about my order they said they have it when I asked them why you did not call me the person who answered the phone said the girls whos making the calls had a lot of to do so if you buy something and they tell you in 2 weeks your stuff will arrive, you better all them and ask. I will definitely recommend this place for shopping for your house.
Great selection and prices, but can someone please explain why I was scolded by the cashier for tapping my credit card to pay like I had done something illegal? It was a very odd and off putting exchange of words. And my transaction went through just fine at the end. Also with long wait times at the register.
Huge THANK YOU to the Orlando location, especially Adrian, Angel, and Sammy. We experienced a major communication issue regarding a large delivery; long hold time on the phone, no ETA for product delivery, unable to receive updates, along with some unprofessional customer service during multiple phone conversations. Eventually ended up contacting Corporate, who helped facilitate the service recovery process. Adrian, Angel and Sammy worked together to resolve everything and the product was delivered the next day (total wait time was 12 days). For the inconvenience, the extra delivery fee was refunded since the product came from a more local store. Would definitely recommend Floor and Decor for product selection. Product availability can be a potential challenge with larger orders.
Upgrading our kitchen and needed to pick new flooring and backsplash. We hit the jackpot by having Ian Simpson as our designer! He was honest, extremely knowledgeable and never did we feel rushed. He answered all our questions directly and definitely knew the products and process involved with regards to installation. Ian is a definite asset to this company! I would definitely ask for him again for all our future projects!
Loud, crowded and no employees to help you. I found one employee and asked for help to find a tile you had in your bathroom displays., The worker could not find the tile, I followed her in circles up and down aisles. I dont think she knew what she was doing. Tried to buy a sample tile but ended up walking out. The checkout lane was chaotic and understaffed.

Happy to take your money, happy to up-sell, and after spending thousands with them I’ve discovered they won’t have the product ready for pick up. Where’s the product I bought? Where’s the money you took? I’ve just left the store without my order with no explanation. Be warned!!
Ive been here multiple times as a general contractor looking at material and suggest my clients to go see the products. The reason Im giving a 2 star review is although the inside service is okay, the most interactions I have is in the back at pickup. And honestly the service is terrible and waiting times is ridiculous. It seems as if the employees dont want to do their jobs and assist you. I highly recommend management do something about this issue so it can be a business worthwhile.
So, calling two stores at the same time to see if we can get ANYONE to pick up the phone. 20 mins of ringing with interim dead air and no one picking up. Placed an order on the 27th for an in store pick up at the Colonial location because we need the merchandise and NO ONE has said a thing about our order. I FINALLY get through to Sanford location and explain that Im frustrated and inquire about the hold time and ask if there is a problem with their phone and Im TOLD PROBABLY. THEN when I explained I placed the order with their other store am told they cant help us because they dont have access to their system. I ask to speak to management because I cant get through to the store I am placed on HOLD AGAIN and NO ONE CAME ON THE LINE!!! But not to worry because I was still on HOLD 45MINS NOW with the other store. I finally get a person on the phone who was able to answer my question about my order. She was apologetic and helpful. But what a craptastic experience to say the least!
Awesome Customer Service. Variety of beautiful tiles. Luis attended us, he went above the expectation. I bought the tiles thanks to his help with lots of advise. Wanda, the cashier, was very curtious and has a great smile on her face. I had a great experience there! I highly recommend this Floor Decor.
My husband and I went to shop for our flooring remodel and it was an amazing experience! Went into the store about 4 times until we finally made up our mind on the style and type of flooring we wanted to go with. We were helped by Luis and even though we had a million questions he was patient and gave us the info we needed to make the final decisions. The store has a great variety and options for any home remodel. The prices were also amazing. My husband and I are first time home owners so it was important for us to have all our questions answered and the right guidance. We are extremely happy with our purchase and thankful for Luis having been there to help us out! He should get employee of the month! It was refreshing to have someone help us that was knowledge but also cared to help us out. Every time he would see us in the store he would greet us genuinely and help us with whatever questions we had. It’s uncommon to find great customer service and honestly this made the experience that much better for us. #luisforemolyeeofthemonth !!
We did a large floor project, multiple rooms, different tile and grout selected for the rooms. We loved the store selection, the value, and the help getting the material quantities we would need. At the end, we were able to return unused tile, even though it took us a bit longer to finish than the return policy. Would have been 5 stars, but the delivery process damaged some material. We made a couple of small changes in the plan and everything worked out perfectly.
The prices are great and the customer service is amazing! Ben assisted with our purchase and went above and beyond with helping us to select and even load the tile. Nancy also gave us some good advice on marble flooring. Floor and Decor knows their product and they treat their customers well. Thanks Ben and Nancy!
WARNING! DO NOT ORDER IN STORE PICK UP!!Not only did I not get a confirmation when my order was ready I got to meet the rudest staff I have ever come across. They have a mickey mouse club attempt of a loading area with no discerning signage telling you where to go, and staff that stands around and when asked where to go they just point and walk away, back to their group conversation, real top notch customer service. Ill be looking elsewhere for my flooring.P.S. Every employee I saw was either not wearing a mask at all or was wearing it around their chin like a diaper.
This store can be great when everything you need is in a store location, but if you need to order additional product, expect very poor service from store to corporate level. After hours on hold trying to get customer service to answer. don’t bother entering your number for them to call you back within an hour, it won’t happen. Happened many times and dont expect anyone to care and offer any solutions when they couldnt order the right things because their system was down and now they want to charge more special order fees. Beware you cant place an order over the phone and you cant add to an order. They want you to drive to the store and stand around for hours waiting for someone to help you. This after driving 40 miles, paying toll road fees and still not getting help because of their broken systems. Dont waste your time. Horrible inflexible system and no customer satisfaction. Update-the store manager got involved without us asking and made this right. They were super helpful and took care of all our concerns. They deserve five stars.
Felt like I was in a thrift store. I bought a pallet of wood flooring with ZERO help even though I requested assistance twice. At the cashier’s stall, the manager was trying to sell me non refundable products. She wanted me to open all the boxes and check for no defects prior to buying. We stood there and argued for 15 mins until she decided to add the refundable clause. It was my first time in the store and last. I rather take my business next time to a more respectable company.
Shout-outs to Alexandra (cashier) Jerald (loading coordinator?), and Anthony (fork lift), who helped me prevent what could had been a disastrous day.There were others that werent helpful, or not knowledgeable enough, to be helpful, and absolutely lacked customer service attitude.I received email indicating that order is ready for pick-up so I drove from 2.5 hours away to pick up. I was told by person at Returns, then again, by person at pick-up check-in that they couldnt find my orders by my phone number or by my name. After I suggested to the latter to look up by the products SKU, he found the order. But the hand-held device showed him that the order was picked up inside the store 2 days ago when I placed the order. He offered no help other than telling us what the screen says. Floor & Decor websites Order History was down the whole time I was at the store.I was also told, incorrectly, by the person at Returns that price adjustment for online order can only be done by online service, and to call Customer Care. I was on hold for 30 min before I got a live person who told me a manager inside the store can do it.I went back inside and was lucky to end up in Alexandras lane. She helped track down the orders and sort out the pricing issue. She made sure we have what we need to show the pick-up check-in person. She had a great attitude while helping me. Her bright attitude eliminated almost all of the prior frustration.Gerald was more than pleasant and cheery the whole time he was working to the order and verifying what Anthony was bringing out is correct and has everything in the order. It seems they are often very short-handed in the pick-up area so plan min of 2 hours for pick-up.Anthony gently placed the pallet into the truck with the forklift, and made sure that it sits snuggly toward the front of the truck bed.Based on my experience the last 10-15 times in the past 3 months, the Orlando store has much better staff than the St. Pete one. They even have all their masks on at all time and wore them properly.
We ordered online for our flooring and paid the shipping fees. The delivery company, who is a local contractor calls to schedule delivery and they say well be there between 10pm-2 pm. Delivery company never calls to inform they are running late. Then calls at 5 PM to inform they are doing the delivery in about 30 mins. Like we have all the time in the world to wait for them to arrive. The driver informs us that we need to pay delivery fees AGAIN; Days later, we havent heard from anyone. Call Floor and Decor here in Orlando and talked to Kylee Kaser who informs me that theyve got nothing to do with the order after it leaves their department. Really?? I paid Floor and Decor shipping fees, they hired the delivery company, have a relationship with them and theyve got no responsibility to follow up with this company??? REALLY? I wasnt asked to choose a delivery company myself, in the first place!! So Im the responsible one!! So lesson learned form this experience: grab a Uhaul and pick up your order yourself. Or maybe go to Homedepot or Lowes or any other competition. May get better service than this.
It was a quick and easy process. A nice lady (sorry I cant remember your name) helped us find what we needed as soon as we got in. Shout out to Keith who helped us load 7 boxes of super heavy tiles as well as moving boxes of broken ones so we could get to the good ones. Definitely couldnt have done it without him.
Wow talk about slow slow slow service. If you are a contractor trying to earn a living do not come here. 45 min in the return line, 35 in the loading zone, 25 at cashier. Seriously, this is an unbelievably slow process in this store.....and then on the way out, they made me go through the return line twice...wasted 2.5 hours wasted here. Your service is awful. Im never coming back!
Decent prices but customer service is lacking. Trying to reach them on the phone is a major hassle, no one answers the phone, even talking with their customer service online the agent couldnt get ahold of anyone at the store. At the store there was barely anyone available to help answer a few questions.
A quick note to say the biggest “Thank You!” I can to Julio Figueroa and Nidya at the F&D store #110, Pickup and Loading Dock (Order #RB078901593932213). Nidya was not only super patient and understanding for how lost I was (construction all around the pick up area and very confusing). When Julio saw me trying to load the 500+lbs of material in my teeny Hyundai Accent by myself, he enthusiastically offered to help (I mean, I’m almost 60, so heck ya!). The guy who dropped off all the stuff and left said I’d probably have to come back for all the cement boards, but Julio agreed to help me safely work them in. And when he laughed at my obscure Ace Ventura: Pet Detective reference of “Like a glove!” and said “such a great movie”, it was icing on the cake. It was the first time my wife and I were in Floor & Decor, the store is awesome, they have a lot of beautiful merchandise to choose and the service was exceptional, Javier treated us like family and he was a lot of help, from help us to choose (explaining the characteristics of the materials) to remind us about other materials we will need to complete the installation.Definitely we will continue doing business with Floor &Decor.
Was just here on a Saturday afternoon. Incredibly busy. there were people in every aisle the line to check out was extremely long. it seemed like there were not enough employees in the store to be able to handle the capacity of people. My wife and I wandered around looking for wood grain tile hardwood floors luxury vinyl plank. It didnt appear that the aisles were labeled very well.
After trying to get a status on an order for over 5 days, I was finally put in touch with Lisa in the warehouse who went above and beyond to locate my order and put it aside for me. She was extremely helpful and got me all the information I needed. If you have any issues, just ask for Lisa.
To the management at floor and decor in Orlando, i had an extremely good and pleasant experience working with the designer Ian Simpson. This guy is just an asset at any workplace. He helped me a lot. He goes far and beyond to help customers. If you lose this guy or let him go, you are all dumb. I dealt with most of the designers there, Ian by far the best and the easiest to talk to. Keep this guy.
They have a decent selection and good prices. But the customer service is horrible. It seems like they don’t have enough employees who have any knowledge of how to actually install tile. We talked to one women who was very helpful, and also so helpful in admitting when she didn’t have all of the knowledge to give us good advice. But then the manager was the only person she said could answer our questions. It took forever to find someone else who could actually give us advice of what size backer board to use and what mortar would work best. The store has classes on installing tile I have no idea why they wouldn’t have the employees take the class so they can have a basic knowledge to help their customers.
Waited for 35 mins in the online pickup area to pick up 6 containers of caulk/silicone. Other customers came and went and I waited. They finally came out and said they didnt have the silicone but only the 4 containers of caulk. So I drove 40 mins and they couldnt even complete the order. Then hassled next about getting a receipt for the refund after I said I wouldnt leave without a receipt. Do not buy from this store chain, and definitely do not online order.
Lisa from this store is FANFREAKINGTASTIC. She is beyond helpful, accommodating, and a sincere joy to work with as a customer. I only wish she could know how much I appreciate her help. This store has good product selections but their customer service is awesome. Alexandra and Emma were mega helpful too. Thanks Ladies!
Visited Floor & Decor Orlando today. Unfortunately I had to repurchase tile due to the tile contractor we hired doing a horrible install. I was very stressed. Cassie approached me asking if I needed help and proceed to take care of getting the 12 boxes of tile I needed. This required getting a forklift to get the pallet down to access the tile. Cassie with Giovanni help loaded my cart. Giovanni then took my cart up to my he check out for me. LaTonya was my check out person. Who was quick and sweet. More to come on her. Anthony asked if I needed help loading the tile in my car and also assisted me in getting info on the contractor referral program. This was at the request of I believe a manager. I did not get his name. He explained the program to me. Anthony then loaded my car I was very pleased with my experience today. Unaware I had unfortunately left my Credit card in the machine. LaTonya called me to let me know that it was safe and she would let the opening Mgr know I would be there to pick it up. This put my experience over the top. Thank you to everyone I worked with today at Floor & Decor Orlando.
The selection is really good, the price and, quality are much better than other stores we looked in. The staff is very friendly. The location is also very clean. We are very satisfied with our purchase. Once we install the stone on the wall we will take pictures of it and, post them.
Worst service ever!!! Went to get all my bathroom flooring. Got there very early to see if someone can help me to put the order together and have it delivered home. 1st associate you can tell was not happy to help. He looked like we were bothering him. He called another associate to help us out. Sandra helps us to put together all the pieces we need but in the process she seemed in a hurry. After she finished with us she mentioned she had an appointment waiting for her. Honestly I would appreciate more that she said that in the first place and served us by looking at her watch every 2 minutes. All this happened on friday.That Sunday we decided to go to the store and change one of the mosaics for another. We went to the store and made the change. Monday 7/27/2020 got the order delivered. Missing 30 pieces of mosaic. The driver told us to call the store to see what happened with the order. So I did call and call and call!!!! Every time an associate answered the phone they didnt know how to help us and put on hold for more than 20 minutes. I called on Tuesday all day and no one was able to help.Decided to go on Wednesday 7/29/2020. Got to the store the first lady checked on the computer and said there were no more mosaic in the store of the one I needed so thats why they didnt delivered.I mean! At this point I was really mad! I paid $135 for delivery and no one called me to follow up on the mosaic I was missing.Went to the delivery department and a lady helped me check in other stores to see if they could be delivered. She assured me they will ship overnight those mosaics so I can continue with my project. At this point I loose all this week waiting for those mosaics so I can finish my bathroom.Mosaic supposed to be at home by FEDEX yesterday 7/30/2020. Today is Friday and I am still waiting for my mosaic. I called the store and no one answered. It was horrible. a waste of time and money on gas since they dont resolve anything by phone or call you.I live about 40 minutes away from the store. If you plan to buy in this store make sure you pick up the materials yourself.
I like going to Floors & Decor for all things flooring. They have large variety to choose from at excellent prices. The employees are friendly and will give tips on installation. The only issue I have is there doesnt seem to be customer service desk for questions or issues.
Found what I was looking for and got the heck out of there. Im not sure if corporate or an employee chooses the music but it might be something they need to pay attention to. The very loud monotonous rap was overwhelming. While waiting at the back of a long checkout line I ask the young lady ahead of me what she thought of the music playing. She jokingly said WHAT! Then said annoying.
Demond was so helpful picking the glue and spacers for my tile. He even taped up some of my boxes that were tearing. He took time and interest in making sure I had all I needed to get my tile completed. Wanda in checkout was very friendly checking out as well, greeted us with a smile and was very friendly. We called for the manager to tell him we had a great experience and he came up front quickly to hear out comment. Great staff!!!
Store has good collection but some of the employees make the store worth while visiting. Nancy is one of the best employees of this store. She was so helpful and polite and helped me locate the marble tile that I needed, called multiple stores and get it ordered from other stores. Ray in tiles department is the man you need to go when you have a tile install related questions and Steve is the guy that has you covered, when others can’t help you.
Wanda and Alan are both amazing!! Wanda helped with a return without a receipt or phone number and worked until she found my purchase. She was happy, friendly and shared personally. So friendly!! Alan helped go through about 5 boxes of tiles, helping with colors, non broken ones and then helped with color of grout and siding. I asked if he needed to do other work, that we took him away from and he kept saying he loves to help people. He was awesome, friendly and knowledgable. Wanda and Alan gave us a 5+ star experience.
Amazing customer service from warehouse manager Lisa! She really stepped up to the plate when the store ran out of the tile for my complete home. She coordinated logistics from another store and I had practically no downtime on the jobsite. I was blown away at their great communication and actually calling back a customer throughout the day which you never encounter anymore anywhere! Floor & Decor on Colonial is #1, dont go anywhere else you wont find better deals.
Got everything we needed to redo our guest bathroom and came in under budget. Alain Noel was fantastic helping us quickly locate all the supplies we needed and made sure we didnt forget anything we would need. The tile and trim we picked is so unique that the bathroom is going to really be gorgeous. Great place to find everything you need for your next bathroom or kitchen project.
The manager, Tyler, was professional, helpful, and his customer service went above and beyond!!!! We needed advice, suggestions, and with his help, patience, guidance, and expertise we were able to find the perfect tile for each section of our house. The new store is huge and beautiful! I walked in not knowing at all what my project consisted of and found the first available associate, Thierry Pierre-Philippe, who listened to what I wanted to accomplish and stayed with me until I had my car loaded up. He showed me different styles and went over all my options and used his big muscles to haul it over the store and into my trunk safely. He has a glowing personality, didn’t make me feel like I had no clue what I was doing, and was very knowledgeable and humble — he confirmed he was giving me the right advice by asking a peer of his. His specialty is the stone department but I am all set for my tile project and had an overall wonderful experience shopping there.
I went two days ago to this store to purchase some stones for the fireplace when I got to the cashier area 5 of them were talking amount them... one of them look at me and told me to wait (with the heavy box of stones in my hands) until they finish to take care of me. The cashier that ask me to wait had very rude attitude HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE....I went today 11/24/2020 to return something and the girl at the return station didn’t even look at me... if she spoke 3 words that’s too many.. she had a rude attitude and the whole process was horrible... one thing is for sure I AM NOT COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION!
I went to this store to pick up remote storage buy #RB017201591380620. They did not have the material even though another store had processed the order. I drove 1:15 hours from Melbourne to the Orlando store where I was told to go, waited an hour, was treated incredibly rudely, and ultimately left with nothing. Their pickup area personnel are extremely rude, unhelpful, and very aggressive toward customers.
We just found this store recently and before that had been going to Home Depot and Lowes but were really happy with the variety of items that Floor and Decor has. In the last two months or so we have come to this store very often for material, to the point where many of the employees remember our faces, and we are always nothing but polite to everyone there. Unfortunately, however, it seems that we never get such treatment in return and on more than one occasion now, today being the worst, we have been disrespected and made to feel as if our business means nothing to the store. In this short time period this is the third employee that has basically ruined the quality of the store for us.We understand that with everything going on with the recent pandemic things have been stressful for the employees, but we are in general very tired of the poor treatment here, treatment that started before the closures began. We came with some items we needed to return because they werent used but initially couldnt find the receipt for a few; we spoke to one employee on Friday, whose name I do not have, who pretty rudely told us that she could not do the return without a receipt until the store reopened this week, at which point we could return items for store credit that werent on the receipt. At this point, we completely happy with this because we had every intention of buying more material anyway. We ended up finding the receipt for all of the items except one $30 piece of material and came in this morning to do our return, not expecting it to cause such an issue.Nidya (associate 54432) handled our return first thing this morning but was unfortunately the most intolerable employee we have dealt with yet. She was short with us from the start with our return and when she couldnt find the item on either of our phone numbers shrugged, as if we did something to aggravate her, and told us she couldnt do it. We explained to her what the previous employee had said about store credit the other day and again just shook her head and said she cant return anything without a receipt and didnt know why they would have said this. Her tone and the amount of contempt she had for us in the moment made it very difficult to keep our usual polite composure and we asked to see the manager on duty. Nidya rolled her eyes and mumbled under her mask, youre just going to be stuck here for a while then as if it would change our mind and guilt us into walking away without returning the item rather than make her wait around for the manager to show up; we still insisted on speaking with one and she called over to one of the other employees for them to grab the manager for her. The other employee asked which one and Nidya said any one, I dont care and proceeded to toss something onto the table and muttered something under mask that we couldnt hear. We asked what she said and she responded with a very terse nothing. There was really no reason for her to act this way to us.One of the managers, Deborah, finally made it over to see what was wrong, but instead of just telling us no off the bat, Deborah thankfully looked through the store receipts in the time-frame we said we bought the item and it took her literally less than three minutes to find our receipt, which was paid for on the same card as the one used on the other items we were returning. She was able to return the item with no issue in less than five minutes. It wasnt the return that was the issue as much as it was Nidyas incredibly poor attitude and her utter unwillingness to show any effort in helping.We were very happy to find this store because the prices and stock are great, and some of the employees are wonderful, like Deborah and one other male employee whose name we dont have at the moment. However, the majority of them are just like Nidya and the level of disrespect we continuously feel leads us to say nevermind with this store and just go back to Lowes and Home Depot. Even though we just started coming here, it seems that today will have likely been our last trip here.
Just left shopping here with my mom! I must admit we both were overwhelmed with all the options to choose from and had no idea as to what exactly we were looking for. Salesman Ben H. was a great help he took his time helping us calculate our measurements, and giving us his undivided attention as well as he gave his professional advice on certain materials. Ben is definitely a professional by all means and very knowledgeable. Not to mention he was extremely handsome 🥰 Thanks again!
We bought $4000 worth of the Nucore ombré grey LVP. It’s beautiful but it’s not what was on display and we made sure it was the exact sku number. It has no top wear layer to it. It’s rough and gritty and feels like a chalk board. Water doesn’t wipe off, it soaks down into the plank. We even took our planks into the store and showed the manager and he agreed something wasn’t right with the floor we purchased. I have called, emailed, faxed etc and I get no where! Very frustrating and very unprofessional.9-17-2020. Diego did email me and told me I’d be moved on to the next person but it’s been weeks and I’ve heard nothing. I’ve emailed letting Diego know that I am still waiting and I didn’t get a reply. So, no nothing has been done besides a email that led me nowhere.10-6-2020 After leaving this review, I was contacted the next day by the 3rd party who comes and inspects the floor for faulty materials. He came out and did a thorough inspection and agreed the floors are lacking it’s top wear layer. Instead of repelling water, it soaks it in and leaves spots that won’t come up. He said to give it 2 weeks to be contacted. I am anxiously awaiting the outcome and will update my review as things progress.Update: 11-1-2020 floor and decor sent me an email stating the inspector saw no problem with the floors yet didn’t provide me with his report nor commented on the fact The inspector told both my husband and I the floor had no top layer layer. So they are going to do absolutely nothing!Update 6-10-21. As I suspected there is no top layer to the floor. Every time I mop my white rag turns gray from the coloring of the floor coming off. It gets on the bottom of our socks too. Shoes aren’t allowed in the house and I mop every week and we have no animals and it’s just my husband and I so it’s definitely the faulty flooring.
I waited more than an hour for them to find the material I had paid for at their Sanford store in a remote buy that I was instructed to pick up at the Orlando store. Orlandos store personnel in the pickup department were extraordinarily rude to all customers waiting to pick up. After wasting an hour driving from Melbourne in an hour waiting for the material, I finally had to ask for a refund because they could not bring my purchase to the loading area. Life is too short to deal with businesses like this.Despite the companys response below, this certainly happened at the Orlando store.
I’ve never met a more rude employee! I needed assistance with grouting and asked where the black grouting was and was given such a rude answer. I couldn’t see the numbers on the wall for the location so I asked again and felt like it was such a bother. I was trying to read the bag because I have like no experience with grout and when I asked how to mix it the answer I got is it’s on the bag, well I couldn’t read the very fine print that is on the bag. So I asked again and he shouted how to mix. If you don’t want to assist customers then maybe you need another job. I’d like to say I won’t go back but I do like the store.
Took off two stars for this particular location, but overall the selection is great at Floor & Decor and there is plenty of options to look through no matter what style youre after.As far as the service, buckle in for an irritatingly uneventful anecdote:My husband and I went in after work to get some help ordering flooring for our entire home, including a staircase. When I asked the front cashier if there was anyone who could give us some advice and basically confirm what we already researched, he radioed for someone in wood flooring. We then listened to the employee no more than 10 feet away snap back about how one was helping a customer (understandable) and the other was in the warehouse. Waited 5 minutes... He calls for the warehouse employee again. No reply. Then a ___ can you return to the sales floor from what I can only assume was the manager on shift. Heard the warehouse employee reply with an attitude that they were on their way, so I braced myself for a peeved employee. However, after 15 minutes of waiting around we just left. Were not sure if this store has sales goals of any kind, but if they do they clearly arent in a rush to meet them. Even though we had our hearts set on a certain LVP, well look elsewhere.
As a contractor that has shopped at this store many many times, truly disappointed. Not sure if management changed as I know personnel have but it is extremely disorganized. Not enough carts for shoppers since all of them are filled with internet orders throughout the store. Lanes closed on one end and difficult to reach certain products. I went in for a specific tile and found most of the boxes broken with broken tiles in it. Still recommend Floor & Decor but not the Orlando store. Take the extra drive and go shop at the Lakeland store.
The store is nice but the management sucks. Their interest are their sales and do not care about the customers. I bought some tiles and returned them the next day and they do not wanted to take it back because the box was open. I was telling them that the employee opened to show me something and he said (the manager Tyler) that it was not his problem and that he will not accept it. I will never go back to this store anymore, I rather go to Home Depot

2022-04-19For sure this is a bigger place than the old one on colonial dr. They have a lot of variety on ceramic and porcelain tiles. Their spacers are the best to layout any type of tiles. They need to improve in their customer service, more personal staff is needed. Visited three times this store to get 60 boxes of 53lbs tiles each one and no one assist me or offered help. The company could do much better in their customer service.

My designer Estefania was extremely helpful in assisting me with a game plan for my DIY bathroom project and helping me gather supplies. Another shout out to Ray. He has a lot of experience and assisted me with my questions. Particularly with some project mistakes I made. Im no professional but my visit to this location gave me the confidence I needed.

When I describe what I was looking for, he immediately took me right to just what I was looking for it was perfect. Great price what the quality the I wanted it should not get any better. Mr Mark is a true craftsman at it finest. My my floors are going to be awesome.

2021-10-04Chronically understaffed, terrible customer service in person and by phone, and if you go on a weekend be prepared to wait an hour just to check out. But, best prices for flooring we found anywhere and a generous return policy. Will I shop there again? Yes. Will I hate every minute? Yes.

2022-02-27As big as this chain is and how nice their variety of product is I waited for help around and no one came in to help, I asked another person how does it works, he sends me to the register, only to make it to the register and find out that I had to wait for an associate to write the order for me. So I had to wait another 20 minutes to then get back in line. This simply does not makes any sense.

2022-04-04ASK FOR DANIEL!!!!! After 4-5 days of my fiancé and I going to this store to find exactly what we liked, Daniel helped us out for like an hour and didn’t give up! Even when he realized it was out of stock, he kept finding similar ones to choose from! I was sitting on the floor at one point, searching through the bottom ones and he gave me a box to sit on so my clothes wouldn’t get dirty!!!!! The best customer service I’ve ever received.

2022-04-24Terrible experience! I came ready to buy a vanity and tile. New exactly what I wanted, I asked 3 different employees for help. I was told someone would be right over know one ever showed up. I went to the cashier asked for help same response Ill call someone to help you no response no one came. Mind you I knew exactly what I wanted it would of been an easy painless transaction. After 20 minutes of being ignored I walked out of the store empty handed.

2022-04-21My wife and I have recently found this store thinking what an amazing selection of floor and tile. However, the actual experiences we had here were terrible. Will never come here again. Costumer service sucks. Good luck getting through on the phone. Theres like 500 people working but no one offers help with loading, no one answers the phones, come close time to closing and no one wants to work, theyre ready to go. Its just really been an awful experience through and through.

2022-06-02Nice selection but Ive never had anyone offer to help me in store. I placed an order online for flooring their website said was in stock, I then waited a couple of days for a pickup notification, but when I called to find out the status they said they didnt have the flooring and hadnt done anything. Apparently, they never notify anyone that their order wont be filled until they call in to check. So you might waste a couple of days on them if you dont call them right after placing an order.
