I called Jane and Phil Wrobel at Best Quote for Condo insurance on a new property i bought. They seemed very nice and sold me a policy. 15 minutes after I got off the phone ,they had already drafted the full cost of the policy from my bank account. The next day they called to tell me I needed the property inspected at my own cost and also that they needed to see the closing documents for the condo. I felt so misled by this tactic. Mr. Wrobel called to say he was sorry he forgot the requirements, this I find very hard to believe. I told them I wanted my money back. I was told that I needed to sign a cancelation letter, even though I never signed a policy approval letter. It took me 25 days to get my refund. Dont do business with this company, there are better options.

Often it boils down to a company being only as good as its customer service. I will not know how good the insurance company is and I hope I never have to file a claim and find out. But I am very confident that if the company is as good as Brian kornbluth, executive assistant to the owner, then I am in excellent hands! I had a recent enrollment issue after I thought I had completely enrolled. Not only did Brian make me aware of the issue but then took me under his wing so to speak and took charge of handling the issue much to my satisfaction and providing me with future contact information should I have another issue. I did a 4 Point inspection for a client. Amber left a message saying that i did not include a photo of the toilet valve. She then stated that our client may have the policy canceled if this photo is not provided. So the person could lose their insurance if they dont get a photo of the toilet valve.

Very satisfied: Moving into town in October from out or state, I asked my real estate agent if she had any recommendations for an insurance agent. She said that her insurance is through Kim and she knows many other people who have had great success with and service from Kim. I can add my own experience. I would never recommend this company, I went from paying almost $300 a month on my homeowners insurance to $87 a month for far better insurance when I switched companies. They don’t care about their clients in my opinion. If they did they would have looked out for my family and myself. I was informed they work on commission, so maybe this is a factor. This is only my opinion on this company!!

Changed my homeowners insurance carrier without my permission and after I sent an email stating I did not want to change. Failed to change my name in their files to my legal name which Ive had for about 5 years. Arranged for LESS coverage with insurer they recommended. I ended up doing the legwork to correct the situation, spending my time making phone calls, submitting cancellation forms, and delivering refund check to the bank. A few nice people there were helpful, but overall a FAILING grade.

We used Florida Best Quote when we first purchased our home 5 years ago. They (Jeanette) were excellent at the time, but we were shifted to a different agent within the company and things fell apart. A year ago we started renting our garage apartment on Airbnb and I tried for months to get an agent to talk to me to make sure we were covered and if not to update our policy. I finally gave up trying. Then in October 2016 we found out we were being dropped by Heritage because it turns out that Insurance Companies dont want you to actually use the insurance you pay for. I tried for five months to get a new policy through Florida Best Quote, but again couldnt get anyone to work with us. Finally a week before our coverage was to expire, I gave up and had to find a new broker. They were able to quickly get me a policy so I didnt have a laps in coverage. Im beyond frustrated and disappointed in Florida Best Quote.

I had the misfortune to deal with Heather Odegaard for an auto insurance quote. After forwarding dec sheets to her and hearing nothing after a week I called her office and was told she was working on it. Later that day, I received an email stating she could not find a better rate. I then ran quotes myself and found several companies with lower rates. She claims Progressives rate was $118/month. The rate I received direct from Progressive was about $300 for six months! Heathers response to this was childish. Do not waste any time with her.

I have to question these reviews. Ive had them for about a 1.5 years and placed HO, auto and flood through them. They are extremely slow to respond to requests. Almost had to reschedule my house closing waiting on them to get back to me on HO. Had to physically show up at their office to find out where things stood. Felt that if I had not been right in front of them, I would not have gotten service. Issues continue since with very slow response to emails, calls, etc. Screwed up my flood insurance last year and almost cost me more money. Had to get the owner involved to straighten it out. Will be looking for new agency when policies come up for renewal.

2021-11-11Jason Mears is the best insurance agent I have ever worked with. Even when he knew we were changing to another company to save money on Homeowners Insurance, he cheerfully and promptly sent any documents we needed to provide to switch. This saved me so much time from having to go through old files to find the info I needed. I highly recommend Jason and I would still be working with him if it werent for saving money by bundling our auto and home policies. Great person and agent!
