If I could leave one star, I would.... I had to go here recently because this company has a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The receptionist told me to come as soon as I could. I had to then drive an hour to get to them, even though they have an office 10 minutes away, because they didn’t want to basically redo paperwork. After I arrived, I then had to wait another hour and 15 minutes in the waiting room. The office staff was very rude and have very poor customer service skills. The receptionist was a woman who had a name that started with a D.. she didn’t make eye contact with me the entire time, like she didn’t feel like answering my questions (Maybe she didn’t feel like working that day...?).Not to mention, for a root canal “specialist”, I walked out in so much pain. My mouth is still hurting as I type this. DON’T GO HEREI will be writing a formal complaint to the department of Veterans Affairs, in the hopes to prevent other veterans from receiving the poor care That this place provides.
Wow! Quick, easy and painless. I was very afraid of this procedure, but Dr. Frey made it easy. Highly recommend.

2022-01-29The women not only made sure to get me into see Dr Ryan Harris on an emergency situation today, which they didnt have to do...But they also in the goodness of their hearts worked together to make sure my full procedure was done in one day. Dr Harris did an amazing job.. And his assistants were caring and compassionate to my situation. I am so grateful for them. And highly recommend their medical team to anyone. Thank you Florida root canal specialists. It was a tough day trying to find someone to help me. And you all did that and more. Sending love and gratitude to you all.

2022-04-22Dr. Harris and team took excellent care of my mom today. She was experiencing really bad pain and they were able to identify the problem and take care of the issue incredibly fast. Fastest and most comfortable root canal she’s ever had! I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

2021-11-30I read the review posted about a month prior to mine and thought it sounded more like a personal problem than a real issue with Dr. Frey and Florida Root Canal Specialists. I decided to call and schedule with them since the rest of the reviews were promising. I called the Fort Myers office, but they had sooner availability for Cape Coral.I am very happy with the outcome of my root canal, and I thought Dr. Frey did a great job. The procedure itself was relatively painless. The Cape Coral office is a little outdated and small, but its otherwise clean, and the staff was friendly. When I was in a lot of pain 2 days later, Dr. Frey quickly wrote me a prescription which I was able to pick up at the Fort Myers location.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that I waited a very long time during my first visit, and I waited again for a pretty significant amount of time for my follow up. The first time, I waited about an hour and 20 minutes before I was brought back to do the procedure. The second time, the wait was about 40 minutes. I was so hungry after the first visit since my appointment didnt finish until around 1:30/1:45 but then I couldnt really eat since my mouth was numb and everything tasted gross. I wasnt able to eat normally until around 5:30, but I hadnt eaten since 10:00 AM. So basically my entire afternoon was shot.I think the reason for the wait is that they schedule a lot of people so the doctor can quickly do as many patients as possible without a lag between arrivals. And to be fair, because of this process, they were able to get me onto their schedule within a day of calling after the endodontist that my dentist referred me to kept cancelling due to health problems.So the moral of the story is: be prepared to entertain yourself during the wait, and eat well before you go! (consider bringing a snack just in case). Otherwise, youll be happy with Dr. Frey and the work he does.

2021-07-27Dr. Frey was amazing! I had to fit in my procedure before a vacation and he was able to do that and ended up being incredible. It was my first visit to Dr. Frey and I will never go anywhere else! The team there is also wonderful and kind, patient and understanding. Highly recommend!

2021-10-01Dr. Harris and team are truly the best! I worked in dentistry for 30 years, and hes not only very knowledgeable, hes patient and makes sure yourre comfortable through the entire procedure-great at injecting novacaine and takes his time to explain and properly handle the really involved procedure of root canal- I would highly recommend him and the entire office for any root canal needs!

2019-12-02I was in Florida on vacation and had this root canal situation arise. This office was great and so helpful to get me in during Thanksgiving week. The staff was great and so compassionate and helpful in every way. Dr. Alexander Garcia-Godoy did a great job. He explained everything he was doing and when he wasnt able to finish due to some additional draining of the tooth, he did what he could and reduced his charges accordingly. I was out of pain and could enjoy my visit to southwest Florida. I highly recommend these folks. Thank you to them all.

2019-09-11Dr. Frey and the whole staff are fantastic. I came to him because I had a boil on the right side of my mouth, on a tooth that already had a root canal procedure a year ago. I self treated the boil (I dont recommend doing this to anyone else ) and I was able to clear up the problem. Dr. Frey could have suggested an apicoectomy to clean out the root area but instead inspected the gums / tooth and was confident that the problem was healed. He put me on antibiotics and said make to appointment if the problem comes back. An honest professional .... not that many around.

2019-05-22Dr. Widmer and his staff was great. The Dr. explained how he would perform the root canal. The pain was very minimal during and after the procedure, and I had a badly infected tooth that required amoxicillin for 10 days. I would highly recommend Dr. Widmer and the Root Canal Specialist.
