Caught an employee (a Manager) going through my closet and banned her from my home. A year and a half after I moved out the Corporate Office filed charges saying I owed money after I moved out and would not remove it from collection even when they were forced by the owner to provide the paperwork and proof of their deliberate malicious actions. I am filing a countersuit...DO NOT MOVE IN TO ANY PROPERTY MANAGED BY FRANKLIN STREET MANAGEMENT IN TAMPA FLORIDA.
This is the worst real estate management company I’ve come across I’ve been in business for 45 years you make your tenant sick I’ll leave it like Largo I’ve been without air five days in this heat we went for months without air my apartment at 88° right now you people better get a hold of me it is the worst place it’ll make you sick it is full of mold

Racist against Blacks and Hispanic besides that they never answer the phone or emails. Roxanne and Tami are useless they said they would fix the situation and its been months and nothing has been done about the issue. Ive tried contacting them again and no response. Its all about the money worst company Ive come across ever.
Hey used to manage Harbour Cay Apts in Largo, fl. There were rats, flooding, and not giving deposits back.
Great experience -speaking specifically about the Tampa retail team.
If I could I would rate this as a negative rating. This company has no consideration for its employees nor residents.

2022-07-08Have had nothing but maintenance issues that the management refuses to fix at Skye Reserve. Broken appliances, electrical outlets that dont work, flooding and leaky walls and yet they want to go up on my rent by FORTY PERCENT! DO NOT RENT from any Franklin St property in Tampa!

2022-04-18Thee Boardwalk in Fort Myers FL owes me a credit but their corporate office reported a balance to the credit bureau, which is now causing me a hard time to find housing for me and my 5 children. Ive contact both place and havent gotten any answer to resolve the matter.

2021-11-30Their Real Estate service is horrible. They should have known if any properties have restrictions for certain business before they move forward for anything. However, this person Bronwyn Eyeington, Associate – Retail Services, asked me all kind of questions.before she found out theres a restrictions!! Its such a waste to go back and forth by email, completely waste my time. So unprofessional and have zero knowledge about the property. I will never ever use your service again!

2020-07-29I absolutely love Franklin Street! My move in to my new home went so well and they made me feel super welcome. I had some pretty specific needs and they handled the quickly and appropriately. I couldnt be happier with my new apartment.

2020-08-03Franklin Street is the best of the best! It is professional, responsive, and caring. But what is most important, it treats the owners property as if it were its own, so all costs are kept as low as possible, but still uses the best vendors to ensure excellent work on repairs, maintenance, etc

2018-09-18Franklin Street recently took over the Villaes at Laurel Meadows in Bartow. Since taking over the prices have significantly increased. There is nothing but people moving out. At this time there are 20 vacant units. Berkshire Hathaway used to own the complex. When Berkshire owned the complex barely anyone ever moved out. The buildings have had a significant decrease as mold and mildew have started to grow. Nothing is being done. The contractors hired to work on the complex are super sketchy. There has been a significant decrease in the quality of living while the price is continuously rising over $300-400 a month. Part of the loan they received was to help the complex go green. They are only doing this if the resident is willing to pay for the new green items. Also my carpet is well over 5 years old however we were told to have it replaced it would be an additional $175 a month. They only care about raising prices thus why everyone is moving out. The residents never receive word of anything new happening or updates within the community. We used to have community events such as movie nights at the pool. This has been cut. This company taking over our complex has been a huge disappointment.

2015-02-20These people are currently managing Carlyle apartments on Waters and Armenia in Tampa and have terrible customer service skills. The day after the apartments had an emergency water issue that caused me some extreme distress, I went to the office to talk to them about a way to compromise and correct this issue and was quickly met by a yelling Regional Property Manager Roxanne Prada who was literally rude as soon as i stepped into the door before even giving me a chance to tell her what I was hoping to get accomplished by speaking with her. I continually asked her to calm down, and why we couldnt speak like adults, but she continued to raise her voice anyways. I guess because we were going to discuss money that they possibly owed to me, she didnt feel the need to even introduce herself or ask my name when I stepped into the office---hmm.. I didnt even get an apology after making it apparent that we could have easily agreed on terms without her trying to argue and get loud and had to ask her name and position myself before leaving.This all happened a week before I was going to payfor a year at their more upgraded apartments down the street, Melrose on Waters thinking that the renovations would make it a nicer experience-no way! Though I was told its under new ownership, this is still a property managing issue that is obviously not being corrected. So thank you, but you wont be getting a year worth of money from me!
