Gary Lanham sets the bar high with his real estate group. Doing business with Gary is like doing business with an old friend: he listens, hes analytical, he knows how to price and he knows how to get a house sold. I listed my Wilton Manors house with Gary and he sold it for $605,000. I cannot recommend him enough.
Gary and his team were integral in selling our house. I met with 2 realtors and Gary won my trust and our business. He was honest, which is hard to come by in South Florida. We worked with Scott Ryan with this group. We had an exceptional experience selling my aging mother in laws house. We live in Oregon she is in Ft. Lauderdale. The house was neglected and had no visual appeal. Scott came on board quickly, accurately sized up the situation and gently worked with my mother in law and sister in law. Sold the house in 3 days for a sum we were thrilled with and worked with the buyer to extend the close date giving all of us time to adapt. I can not recommend Scott highly enough. He called us, emailed us almost every day through what could have been an ordeal, selling a property at the opposite side of the country. He even had old liens against the house removed. Gary in particular is a true gentleman and a wizard when it comes to his craft. He is responsive, polite, knowledgeable and always looking our for the best interest of his clients. I have personally known Gary for the past five years and I can say I trust and appreciate our friendship and his many talents when it comes to helping people purchase and sell their properties. I met him in our Fortune Builders BNI group, he was the real estate professional and was the team leader. He assisted many of our members buy and sell new properties. 2021-08-03Im a Florida realtor based in Miami and had the pleasure of getting to know and work with Gary on one of his Broward listings. In todays competitive real estate market, I was leery if the deal would happen. But because Gary is a listing agent, he had the expertise and network to make the deal happen seamlessly, although we did have a few hiccups along the way. 2020-01-28Ive worked with Gary for 10+ years for my rental property in Ft. Lauderdale. I live in CA so it is very difficult to manage the property from so far away. Gary has been a valuable resource for renters, vendors, insurance, and kept an eye out for my property as well. He has continually kept me up to date with the real estate/rental market which has been extremely valuable. 2020-05-09When my mom passed away we were left with her home to sell in Fort Lauderdale. We received Garys name as a referral from a friend. Right from the first time we spoke to Gary he made us feel comfortable, had a great plan for how we would fix-up the home and get it listed. He handled every detail and was such a pleasure to deal with. This all could have been an incredible challenge as it was all happening as the COVID-19 outbreak was ramping up. Gary and his team did not miss a beat and got it all done effortlessly. We listed the home and had it under contract and sold all in about three weeks. 2019-02-04I just completed one of the most complicated real estate transactions with the help of Gary Lanham and his team at Coldwell Banker. The most important thing that I can say is that I am so thankful and relieved to have had them by my side through the entire sales process. Gary treated me like I was his only customer. He always made time for me to talk through questions, analyze problems, and determine a solution and path forward with any challenge. Gary and his team worked tirelessly and professionally to help me sell my home in Wilton Manors.To provide context on the complexity of the sale, note that the 1965 home, with additions in 1980 and 1982, was in an irrevocable trust (established when my father died in 2011), had a reverse mortgage (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage program), had not been updated in over 35 years, and showed signs of age and neglect from a aesthetic perspective. Not only closing on it was complicated; rather just getting it ready for market was a challenge. Gary and his team never wavered.From the moment I met Gary, I was impressed with how professional and knowledgeable he is. He possesses tremendous experience and clearly knows the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County/South Florida market. Of the three real estate agents that I interviewed, Gary stood out way above the others through not only the above experience, but also his willingness to provide assistance to me before I had signed on with him. “Need an appraiser, Steve? how about X? Need a resource to assist with disposing of possessions, Steve? How about Y?” In the interim week and a half I needed to make my decision, Gary kept in touch just enough to show how committed he would be.Throughout the process, Gary and his team were a tremendous asset. They coordinated an appraisal to assist with a pricing strategy, an engineering inspection to make sure there were no hidden issues with the house. After several offers had fallen through due to a cosmetic issue with the exterior of the house, they helped me find another inspector to confirm the structural integrity of the home and roof.Once we had a deal, we faced several challenges with the buyer, buyer’s settlement attorney, and the reverse mortgage company. When I could have envisioned an agent withering at the issues, Gary was exactly the opposite. He remained, calm, resolute, and professional. He looked at the challenges as learning opportunities – a great perspective. He even gave me a few pep talks when I really needed them.All told, Gary Lanham Group will be my realtors for life. I couldn’t have imagine working with anyone else, and I would highly recommend Gary, Jed Rubin, Eileen Mulkey, and the rest of the GLG team. You won’t be sorry!
