Went to Gulf Breeze ER with what we were pretty sure a broken wrist as you it completely snapped almost all the way back I was in tremendous pain. ER tookX-ray’’s they called Dr Coleman’s on a Friday at 4:50 and he said send me over.. He examined and determined it needed to be operated on immediately as his concern was that I might lose feeling in my hand it was pure numb. Us & Dr. Coleman went over to Gulf Breeze Hospital. They started preparing and he realized that he didn’t have the correct size plate. Dr Colman got on the phone, himself and located one in Mobile, AL. He operated and fixed it!!! I will always be thankful as without a doubt he saved my wrist. Followup care was unbelievable, he and his staff make you feel like a friend every time I came in and all would remember things that we had discussed before and inquire.I honestly can’t believe that someone said he does not have a good bedside manner. He has always been very approachable and takes his time to explain things in detail. He and his staff are absolutely amazing.
After 9 months of hand and arm injury therapy I was told I would probably have to accept my disability. I called Dr. Coleman , he prescribed testing for nerve damage. When the results came in he performed a painless surgery that lasted about 30 minutes and I am now able to move my fingers and arm in a normal way. Still require a few stretching exercises to be 100% but I am already at 90% in 3 weeks. Dr. Coleman, nurses and staff are amazing. I am so grateful and wish I had known of them much sooner. I am a blessed and happily graduated patient.
Dr Coleman and his team provided me with great patient service. Helisten to my concerns, history and then implemented a care plan to resolve my hand issue. Dr Coleman, his surgical team and the Andrews Institute are first class! The very best patient care I have ever received! Thanks Doc!!!
Dr. Coleman has a horrible bedside manner and pretty much runs a chop shop on his surgery schedule. I was the second in line for carpal tunnel surgery and he only took maybe 10 minutes to do my carpal tunnel and a trigger finger repair on the left hand. He does carpal tunnel the old way by slicing your palm open, that I now know is archaic. I trusted him because he is at Andrews Institute. But now I have no feeling (immediately after surgery) to my index and middle fingers. He told me at the follow up that it might come back one day. Nerves can grow at 1mm per day.He was a jerk to my wife in post-op because he had more chop shop to run and didn’t want to answer questions about the surgery. He couldn’t care less. I had my right hand carpal tunnel repair by Dr. Marshall at West Florida microlaproscopic. Great recovery. Now the scar tissue of the left hand is so bad that I cannot flex the hand back. Dr. Marshall has to do revision surgery to Coleman’s screw up to repair the damage and attempt to repair the nerves of my fingers and regain functional movement of the left hand. I’m only 10 weeks out from Coleman’s surgery. Major issues. Four weeks out from Dr. Marshal’s surgery and doing great.Even sadder is that I paid out of pocket for Coleman’s surgery because I went with Andrews Institute reputation. I had a trigger finger locked and couldn’t get in to see Dr. Marshall for a couple weeks.I do not recommend Coleman for any hand surgery. His staff is great, but his bedside manner and work is unacceptable. Now I have to have a major surgery to repair his damage. The revision is a 6”- 7” incision unfortunately.J. Morris
I had not heard anything good about having surgery for carpal tunnel issues. I was dreading it, but I was miserable. After the surgery I kept waiting for the old familiar pain to rear its unwelcome ugly head. 42 days later and I have decided to quit waiting. Dr. Coleman has done an amazing job and I am so very thankful that I was referred to him.(P.S. Follow directions. Whatever you are told to do or not do. It really does make a difference. 😉🖖🤙🤘👍 😆)
Once again the Coleman team was exceptional. Professional, courteous, and responsive.I ended up requiring surgery for two elbow related injuries; a torn tricep and a lot of bursitis. Perhaps I was one of the fortunate. Post surgery, two days, was nearly pain free. I barely needed the pain meds.My elbow is healing well at two months out and considering what I had done I believe I am doing well.It was, as much as can be said for surgery, an easy and pleasant experience.
Waiting time for operation was minimal upon arrival. The educational process was spot on and very thorough. I had a good understanding of what was going to happen during and after the operation and it happened as I was told. Would I do this again? Of course not! If I had to though I would absolutely use Dr Coleman as my physician.
Had some OA issues in thumb & finger joints. Dr. Coleman explained the options clearly and honestly. Its obviously a busy place, but the wait wasnt excessive. Not sure the electronic paperwork is any better than the old fashioned kind. I did not see any evidence of what the bad reviews were saying.
Great doc did my wrist surgery and so far everything been great, glad everything has turned out good, still have a month or so of recover but happy so far and surgery went great had little to no pain after first 2 days. On month 3 and no pain and pins will come out soon. Would recommend to all.
Son suffered a broken finger Dr. Coleman evaluated his finger and took into account his College baseball needs and opted against surgery. The finger healed and instead of missing the first part of the baseball season my son will be ready by the first game. The man cares about his patience.
On Nov. 13, 2017 and again on Feb. 14, 2018 I hadhip replacement surgeries in St. Petersburg, Fl. withDr Vladimir Alexander of Alexander OrthopaedicsAssociates. I specifically chose Dr Alexander from hisbeing praised by pleased return patients and my ownimpression of his demeanor and what I saw as a sincereinterest in wanting to help you, if you were willing to doyour 50% of a joint effort .I am now 8 weeks post op on second hip replacementand I am quite pleased with progress with both hips. This is an ongoing project, not always easy or comfortable but with an excellent skilled Surgeon, apersonal commitment to work hard and return to my45 year career as a Fitness Professional Trainer andInstructor, and the help of great PTs, who understandsetting and achieving personal goals I will succeed.Thank you Dr Alexander for giving me my life back! With sincere gratitude,Mary Frances Blackard
Dr Coleman was very professional and did his best to help me with dupuytrens in my right hand but the nature of the disease is that on some people it comes back and I was one of those people. We are going to wait 6 months and then try again and I wouldn’t have anybody else but Dr Coleman do it.He and his staff are the best.

2022-04-23I cannot thanks Dr. Coleman enough! I’m a ER vet, I perform surgery on a daily basis, my hands are my livelihood. I received a minor bite on the index finger of my dominant hand from a bearded dragon that because a horrendous infection in about 12hr. After an ER visit, a GP visit, and a referral to a different surgeon who couldn’t see me for almost a week (despite my GP attaching pictures of my finger and marking it as an urgent referral) I started to panic. The infection was continuing to worsen despite treatment and I was terrified it would reach the bone. I called my GP back and her nurse got me in contact with Dr. Coleman who agreed with the urgency of my case and after seeing pictures of my finger worked me in the same day (despite being fully booked) to perform out patient surgery. Worst case scenario with these types of infections can result in amputation of part of the finger. I cannot thank him enough, I still have weeks of recovery ahead of me before I can perform surgery again but I’m on the mend and feel much more confident that I’ll regain full use of my finger. Thank you Dr. Coleman and his wonderful receptionist Bambi who passed my case along to Dr. Coleman so quickly.

2019-01-15My experience with Dr.Coleman was awesome. The office staff was professional and very nice, especially Bambi. She was always reachable and timely in handling any request I needed help with. Dr. Coleman was very good at explaining everything to me in simple terms and in a concise manner. I was amazed at how efficient everyone was. My FMLA paperwork was filled out and returned promptly and I had no problems understanding what I was supposed to do and where I was supposed to go. This office runs like a well oiled machine. I will definitely use Dr. Coleman again for any hand surgery I might need in the future.

2019-08-21Love Dr Coleman!!! Went in for a second opinion and ended up scheduling my trigger finger release with him instead of the local doctor! Made it easy to understand all details of the procedure and fully explained everything!I was more than excited when I got to stay awake to watch! We even played a little “tug of war” during the procedure! He has a very welcoming staff and I am definitely pleased!

2019-07-28Very professional and extremely helpful. Becky was scheduled to see another physician for her knee, Dr Colman advised her she needed to see a surgeon. Best move we made. She is now recovering nicely. As for my hand (right thumb to be exact) is doing just fine. Dr Colman an answer to a prayer. I would highly recommend Dr. Colman and his staff.

2019-06-08I had a large laceration with tendon damage on my hand and was scheduled to see another surgeon. The day before the surgery, that surgeon cancelled for at least another 3 days, so I called Dr. Colemans office. The staff at both his Pensacola and Gulf Breeze office are very kind and courteous. They fit me in the same day! Dr. Coleman saw the emergency that it was and did the surgery same day in the office! He is always very personable, thorough and answers all my questions. I am extremely grateful and will always use him for any other hand problems that may arise!

2019-10-01Dr. Coleman and his staff are great. They are so kind and always accommodating to anything I need. They have always answered my questions. I broke the ulna and radius and required surgery to put in the two plates and numerous screws. They have been nothing but wonderful during this time. I highly recommend them.
