I rented an apartment in Boynton Beach in 2019-2020 via Luz Lancheros at Highlight Realty and I never received my deposit back. I even spent $1000 of my own money making the apartment very nice before I left. I even painted the entire apartment and left it in better condition than when I received it. I was promised a full return of my $1150 security deposit and the last months rent, another $1150 and have not seen a single dime in almost a year. So overall I am at a loss for $3300.Apparently the apartment was sold to a new owner while I lived there and Luz said that the new owner does not have a US bank account and therefore could not send me my money. She then personally promised on multiple occasions to send me my money within a few weeks. To this day 1 year later after moving out I have not seen my money.Hoping this review will finally get someones attention to rectify matters.

I am very pleased with Highlight Realty. My agent Myra Baker. She is exceptional, she was diligent in finding the property that I perches. She also made sure that all the requirements were met by the seller . Overall she was extremely thorough. I had a great experience, cant say enough about miss Baker.

Had a very unfortunate process with a realtor. He was hired by our mortgage lender to complete a market analysis of our home to eliminate PMI on our mortgage. A simple process taking pictures of our home with updates and pulling comps in the area.He was highly unprofessional from the beginning of the process, calling us repeatedly at 7pm on a Saturday night. Then proceeded to show up to the appointment at our house in workout clothing. The part of the process MOST frustrating was his poor ability to pull similar comps. We have a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom townhome with a garage. Yet he pulled comps for 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, and no garage high rise condos. Never pulled a comp with 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom and garage townhouse. Also, did not pull a comp from our exact neighborhood where we can see 16 homes on Zillow that have sold within the last year!! He devalued our home to have lost $70K over the past 2 years despite a remodel and a surging market, with 2 bedroom townhomes in our neighborhood selling for $290K to $300K ($110-120K more than what he valued our home at $180K)When we reached out to the realtor in shock, he was highly unprofessional. His verbiage was incredibly rude, unprofessional, aggressive and insulting. The conversation eventually lead to him agreeing that he made a major error. He stated “There’s nothing I can do about it.”Very unfortunate process. Highly concerning competence and unprofessional behavior.-Follow up from owner response below:Unfortunately, comps to value our home were not pulled off of Zillow, instead from the MLS recently sold in our exact neighborhood. Also, our home was just appraised at $324,000. That is over a $140K difference from your realtor’s assessment.

People be aware, this is not a reputable company to do business with. I used one of their realtor and she basically was working for the Seller instead of us. It was all about her commission. We ended up not closing because the sellers did not do the necessary repairs we agreed upon and the so called Realtor, Leslie Ann Ellis was hesitant in helping me to get my $5,000.00 deposit back. She is unprofessional, ignorant, confrontational, and hateful. I encourage everyone to find a Realtor that is knowledgeable, honest, dependable, and trustworthy to do business with and stay away from Highlight Realty and their unprofessional and desperate Realtors. They are shady and money hungry. Once again they are all for the commission just like Leslie Ann Ellis. She is a very dysfunctional individual, and I am not saying this with any malicious intent, it is a fact. I have never seen a Realtor that goes against their client. She knew the repairs were not done, yet she was forcing us to close on the property and when I retaliated she cursed me out terribly and stated that she has never been so close to a closing and now she cannot close the deal. She went on to say she is not working and her husband is not working and called me things outside of my name. Wow! my so called Realtor (Leslie Ann Ellis) treated me like that just for her commission, instead of having the Sellers do the necessary repairs we decided upon. This woman knows nothing about Real Estate. Her license needs to be revoked. Now she is taking sides with the Sellers Realtor against us. I serve a living God and wickedness can only last for a while because God is in control. Please people be careful of her. Very pretentious and cunning individual Leslie Ann Ellis is.

Do not do business with this company. Mirla Osuna is the Realtor on a house I am buying. She is also the Manager on the house we live in. (Same house) She lied to my Realtor and told her that the house was Appraised by an appraiser and that is how she got the market value. I asked her in writing 2 times for a copy of the Appraisal. She never even responded to my email. The owners told me there was never an appraisal on this house. She is not professional and she is very rude. She refused to take my offers to the sellers. She flat out told my Realtor she would not take the offer to the owners. She called my loan company and yelled at the agent for not returning her call when he did and left her a voice mail.She has been nasty to my realtor and her Broker. There will be more I will be posting soon after I buy the house.The house we rent under her management has no windows that open, the septic was coming out of the ground, the pluming is so bad and the bathroom and the kitchen has bad pluming. She is well aware of it being a fire hazed. She has not protected her clients, the owners of this house, and we are in danger if this wood house with a gas system catches fire. There are no fire extinguishers, or alarms installed in this house. I have contacted code enforcement and I will follow through with this.It took us 6 months to close on our house because of Mirlas careless behavior. I had to hire an attorney as she refused to return my mortgage companies and my calls and emails. She lied to my attorney and told her my loan had been denied, I lost my deposit and our contract was in forfeit. This caused so many problems. I called my mortgage company to find out that she was not told anything like my loan was denied. She lied! I will be making a complaint to the Florida board. This was the rudest unprofessional Realtor I have ever dealt with.

Judge Annette Krupnicka for yourself. She rearranged my furniture without asking me (Im in Md). She didnt use prof. photos, she took them herself. I asked her to please change out the overexposed and out of focus ones; no. I asked her to say I have 5 appliances under warranty in the listing; no. She dogged me over and over to lower my price starting week 1, said everybody thought it was overpriced. (The comps were right in my complex and we ultimately got my price.) She was furious I didnt use her title co., she obviously gets a kickback. (The seller chooses the title co.) I could enumerate so much more. Midway I said, please, we need to part ways, this isnt working out; no, youre finished when the listing contract finishes. This is unheard of in the industry, to hold you hostage. And try to get ahold of the broker at Highlight; Im not sure he exists. This is not a real realty, its a realty warehouse. The final touche was she did not give me the reduced transaction fee we agreed upon. My condo sold in spite of her and what a completely unnecessarily unpleasant experience she made it.

As a first time home buyer I was nervous and had many questions/concerns. Christina Pinkerman went above and beyond on every step. She had urgency, attention to detail and great communication. She negotiated with our best interest in mind. Very glad we had her on our side and wouldnt change a thing!

Last year I rented an apartment that was being represented by Gustavo Cepeda. He told my realtor the landlord agreed to fix many things in the apartment before move in. On the day we loved in, nothing was cleaned or taken care of. Paper work was never returned to my realtor. Come to find out the apartment was infested with termites. Neither the landlord or Gustavo (who was a friend of my landlord) did nothing. I ended up having to break my lease and loose $3000. None of the repairs were ever made to the apartment. He never called to schedule move out. I had to call him. Communication was non ecosistema. Absolutely disgusted with this company and very much considering taking the broker and realtor to court.

Rented a condo from realtor Helena Forsbom, she acts like a child. Doesn’t do a proper walk through of condo and will ignore your calls. I payed an extra months of rent in which I didn’t even stay. She refuses to get in contact with the actual landlords and will literally make up fake problems to charge so you don’t get the security deposit. Make sure if you rent from you do thorough walk through and take pictures of everything. She will make up fake things to charge you with. Be careful with this lady, terrible services. It’s been over a month and still haven’t gotten any word on security deposit.
