The Buford Team have been close family friends for a long time so I already knew they would do a great job! With that being said, they exceeded my expectations. I was a first home buyer and they went above and beyond to ensure I was knowledgeable about each step of the process. It was evident that it was very important to them that we found the perfect house!

Georgia Buford and Nikki Buford have handled several real estate listings and closings for my family and know the market well. We were privileged to have the Buford team to be part of the purchase of my children’s first homes. Lori Mattice did a great job for us. The transaction was complicated by having to learn everything about the house without being able to talk to the original owner. Also, the house had been unoccupied for almost a year. The original owner passed away and his parents became the sellers, but they did not know much about the house. Lori lined up some great inspectors and repairmen who really knew what they were doing. Numerous problems were discovered during the inspection, which were all fixable and negotiable. 2022-04-07We were relocating to Tallahassee and Hettie was recommended to us. We stared working with her before we even moved. Hettie was incredibly knowledgeable and really helped us to understand the Tallahassee market. She took the time to understand our family and what we were looking for while providing guidance in a very complex market. She was truly a pleasure to work with, and was incredibly patient. She was always happy to answer my questions. She spent many many days showing us homes and I never felt “rushed or pressured” to pick a home that wasn’t right for our family. 2022-06-08My daughter recently moved to Tallahassee and began a search for a house. The Buford Team was the perfect choice for us to work with. We spent a Saturday afternoon looking at a house and through that time we developed a positive relationship and deeper understanding of what the wishes and needs for her house would be.A few days later my daughter got a message showing her her ‘dream house’. They quickly set up an appointment to see it. On that day they showed a few other possibilities knowing the ‘dream house’ was a bit of a stretch...simply too perfect and probably many that would agree and also be interested in making a bid.Within a few days we were guided with the bid and then sat back knowing we had done all we could too. The Buford Team made several suggestions to sweeten the deal, which we did, and set up many people to help if the bid was accepted to quickly seal the deal.Happily the bid was accepted and my daughter is now a happy Tallahassee Resident in a home she loves, in a fantastic neighborhood, and surrounded with so many wonderful opportunities to enjoy Tallahassee and the beauty around her.The Buford Team was spot on. 2022-07-13Kevin Clark was my realtor and I honestly can’t say enough positive things about the experience. This was my first time buying a house, so I was totally lost and stress was at an all time high. My sister suggested I get a realtor and it was the best decision I made (besides the house I purchased of course :)) Kevin helped me every step of the way. He knows the market very well, so he was able to explain things in a way that helped me to make an informed decision. He was always available for questions and was constantly sending me updates and houses that fit my criteria. He worked within my wish list and budget and helped me be patient enough to find the perfect house. There were times I wanted to settle just to be done house hunting, but he helped me to stay motivated so I didn’t settle. Having lived in the same house for 38 years, finding a new house to our satisfaction was going to be a challenge. House hunting can be a stressful process however Hettie made it stress free.
