They were the most unprofessional mortgage company . We entered a a refinance I March. We told them in July. Enough is Enough. We paid for appraisals and repairs. They kept jerking us around. Please do not use them.
They make mistakes then try to cover them up with lies. Make pro.ises they dont keep. Been 5 weeks and the debtors to be paid off that were incorporated in my refi still not paid. They dont return phone calls. All I need are answers. Terrible company. I would not re ommend.

I called after receiving a letter, spoke with Tarik Dalal, he advised he would email me an offer to lock in what we talked about, asked for my W2’s, then I stopped hearing from him. I’m still not sure if this company is legit. The last message I sent for an update, I have yet to get a response. Totally unprofessional and I will be looking into it because I sent my W2’s.
Our overall experience with iconic was good. Joshua was very knowledgeable and great to work with. He kept in constant contact with us always letting us know how the process was going. If we had any questions, he always returned our calls promptly. The frustrating part was that the refinancing process took much longer than originally told and expected but that was apparently due to the abundance of applications due to the low interest-rate.

Dennis was great to work with. We kept in touch throughout the whole process. The notary came to me at the location that was convenient for me to sign documents. I was notified of any changes throughout the process by text, email or phone calls. From start to finish Dennis Coates made his self available to me to answer any questions I might have. I asked way more questions and demanded more responsiveness than others since I don’t like any page left unturned and he answered everything in a timely manner. I appreciate that he did not answer anything he didn’t know, rather he told me he would inquire about my question so he could get me a correct answer.Oswald is a very understanding, patient, and attentive person. Everyone that answered the phone at Iconic mortgage answered very quickly, that is way I went with this company. I was never put on hold for long and I was transferred very quickly. Regarding Manuel Merlin: COVID19 hit my family hard, and I decided to refinance after I received an advertisement flier in the mail, my lucky day. This is my my experience with my loan person. Manuel Merlin is totally trustworthy and had my best interest in the forefront at all times. A few years back, I was almost scammed, so Im not a trusting person. I went online and vetted Manuel by finding his Loan Officer License # and sent two (2) different emails to verify him and Iconic Mortgage. I received phone calls and emails as verification. Manny, as he likes to be called, explained the ways refinancing could help me and made the loan application process straight forward and simple. He answered all the questions I had and some questions that I should have had. Hes a kind and personable man, and he really knows the loan/ refinance business. Actually, I stopped the loan process for several hours because there were a few things that I didnt understand. He called me on Superbowl Sunday, also his birthday weekend, to answer my questions. That I was not expecting. He put my needs in front of celebrating. Im very happy with the loan outcome. My monthly payment is lower, and Im happy with my interest rate. I received a flyer in the mailbox on a Saturday from Iconic Mortgage, Corp. so, I called the number to see if anyone would answer. I spoke to Joshua Dubovsky. He gave me some scenarios on refinancing and I told him to let me call him back on Monday after thinking about it. After about thirty minutes, I called him back (on a Saturday) and started my refinance process. Over the next forty-five days, we communicated via text/email until the closing. The closing went quickly and with ease.

Frederik Wagner and the team at Iconic, conducted my refinance from an ARM to fixed load the smoothest I have ever had. They were never pushy or in a hurry. If youre looking to refinance with someone who has your best interest in mind allow me to share my experience with Iconic mortgage.I worked with Giovanni Labate for several months and he was simply AMAZING AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE! He was very transparent and thorough from the initial conversation right down to signing the documents. Knowing that he had other clients he always made me feel like I was a priority by picking up or returning my phone calls everytime I had a question. Derek Swenson was the loan officer in charge of my loan. He was the most unprofessional and unorganized person I have ever dealt with. After several scheduling conflicts where he gave the notary and myself conflicting times, we finally arrived at a date and time that I could meet with the notary to sign my paperwork. Not to mention the during process, I received voicemails stating that my current loan was in default and I needed to call, only to be told wrong loan, my mistake. When the day finally came to sign, the notary showed up with paperwork with the wrong address on it, and very confusing if not wrong information on them (to this day I still dont know). When I called Derek to get clarification, he out right lied to me about the status of my mortgage and who was on it, pertaining to Florida law, and when I had to correct him, he did eventually own up and apologize. At this point I stopped everything and had all but given up on Iconic Mortgage. The rest of the team was very diligent and helpful and throughout the next few weeks they were able to convince me to start over. We were able to finalize my refinance with no more issues, (minus a few more time discrepancies thanks to Derek, he literally called me and told me 6pm, hung up and texted the notary 3, and she called me freaking out that she would be late). During the process, I was told that Derek was one of their best guys, I would recommend going with somebody else if you decide to work with Iconic Mortgage.

The process was smooth and my closing date was even a couple weeks less than expected which made me happy. Before I closed he took the time to go over all closing documents. This company is unprofessional and has zero morals. The only reason I know anything about this company is because they sent me a scam letter about my escrow account that led me to a website. I am a first time home owner so seeing a letter, formatted to look like a tax document, with deadlines and warnings about my loan made me very anxious. I had already submitted my contact information by the time I realized this was a scam. I would not do business with a company like this.

The worst mortgage refinance experience we have ever had!!! James Wilson never kept us in the loop and we always had to contact him, not the other way around. Misled us telling us not to pay our mortgage payment because they would have everything completed prior which was NOT the case and now our credit dropped 60 points because of this! Also charged us almost 8k in closing costs with a mediocre rate reduction. I have a friend who is a Loan officer whom I am going through next for a better rate as she said they really screwed us over in ever facet. Spoke with their management and they mailed us a $1000 dollar check because of the misleading emails we received and the lies we were told. We were promised to receive over 4K and only received a couple hundred bucks from our Escrow. The worst Company to go through! Go somewhere else!

This is the second time within a year I have worked with Iconic to refinance my home. When the VA rates dropped more than .5% on our existing mortgage I contacted Iconic to see if we could refinance again. I started working with Frederick Wagner. Frederik was great. He pointed out all the possibilities of refinancing so quickly so soon after the previous time. He pointed out the “recapture” requirement and that we may hav a problem getting a new mortgage approved. He said let me try. I would highly suggest not to utilize this company, due to Paolas lack of follow up, Eliezer incompetence and Jasons inability to successfully lead as a Manager. Neither of the three have the ability to pick up or call anyone. Their best quality is their ability to lie, lack of empathize, absences of professionalism, failure to calling back or pick up, accusing you of not following direction, impotence of properly reading an email and their shortfall of formulating a proper thought in writing. Sadly If it wasnt for me finding their VPs information I would have never heard back.

Every time that i need to ask a cuestion, i call the number they give me for any question and i never get sombody to pick up the phone. Nobody answer, plus they gave me a cuote about the monthly payment and the day of closing they came with a diferent story about the payment. They offer me a payment and at the closing they came with a diferent payment, i didnt have any choise the notary was in my house with a big stack of papers to sign. Very, very upset. The only way i recieved an answer i calling a guy with the name Enriquez, he realy answer right away and, i complain to him and i gest he call Pavel and he call me. But if i call Pavel direct i never get an answer from him

I would like 👍🏾 to apologize to James Wilson for this late response and give him 5 stars. As a retired Veteran, I’ve been taking advantage of these low interest rates. I had been putting myself back together n this year of 2020, since late Dec. 2019 and because of a string of deaths that triggered my PTSD (100% Disabled Desert Storm Vet ); I had gotten behind on my bills and with these systematic credit scores, mine were lowered drastically. Was scheduled to have a phone interview and was over an hour late in calling. They set up an appointment and then cancelled it the day of without even contacting us. And told the notary that they had contacted us. No explanation whatsoever. They lied! I will never do business with this company!

I’m not impressed with Iconic Mortgage based on my treatment after the initial refinance on my home. My rep Drake said they could help me find a lower rate on another home I have and he hasn’t returned any messages or phone calls since Feb 26. Completely garbage way to treat customers after the fact!!!

Iconic Mortgage has helped me FINALLY refinance a Loan that was not possible with any BIG COMPANY. I was stuck only with modifications and issues that the condominium associations had.they helped over come all of those issues, and that is a big praise for a company to do something no one else would

2022-05-05Paul Drake is the best loan officer I have ever worked with. He is extremely communicative and always accessible. He was responsive to our concerns as we searched for the best loan options for our budget and carefully walked us through the different scenarios for said options. 2022-06-28I contacted Iconic Mortgage back in May when I received something in the mail about taking advantage of my home equity. I just closed last Friday, June 24th, 2022. My loan officer was John Sinnes. I must admit that I was very skeptical at first because everything that John was saying seemed too good to be true. I actually asked him Whats the catch? He explained to me that there was no catch and he sent me his credentials to prove to me that he was not some scammer trying to take advantage of me. Last December my checking account was compromised though Zelle and I had a very hard time to get my money back in my account.Well John was very thorough and took the time to explain to me the refinance process. He and I talked on a daily basis and he kelp me informed on everything that was happening in my refinance.The night that I closed my loan, John reached out to me told me to call him if I had any questions. He has been so patient and kept his word that he would do everything he could to make this happen. Iconic Mortgage is very lucky to have an employee of this magnitude on their team. HE IS AWESOME!I think a lot of John and Im very appreciative for everything that he has done for me. He is not only a great business acquaintance but I consider him a good friend.Job Well Done!

2022-05-04As I started the process I was assigned a loan officer then I was assigned another loan officer for the next step which was PAUL DRAKE who was extremely helpful me not being very tech savvy as he would verify . PAUL went out of his way to help me through some DocuSign‘s and everything else going through the procedure he was extremely helpful speaking with him on the phone seems like a great guy a definite asset to your company and everyone I spoke with and dealt with through the company was actually a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Iconic to my friends or family or anyone who’s looking to refi or buy a home you guys did a hell of a job I appreciate it I’ll probably never do this again but in the event that I do I will definitely call you guys thank you for everything again have a good day

2022-08-25Iconic Mortgage of South FloridaMortgage lenderI had 100% payment history in June, 2022 when I started refinancing for a lower interest rate with Iconic Mortgage. My score was close to 700. I E signed official documents with 3.87 interest rate, 30 yr Mortgage and closing date of 7/30/22. At the last minute I found out when I called them saying something the underwriters didnt approve it due to my debt to income ratio. The Closing was postponed until 8/1/22. Then after I kept calling unable to speak to anyone, (unprofessional) I finally spoke to someone who said they couldnt help me now because my score dropped to 590! Almost 4 yrs since I bought my Townhouse and brand new car a year ago with NO MISSED PAYMENTS! Iconic Mortgage is an unscrupulous Company, possibly a SCAM! Do not use or recommend them to friends or family. I told them I would sue them & report them to the Better Business Bureau. They then called me back talking about the Commission and money they would lose if No Closing took place. They ruined my excellent payment record AND I DO NOT GET (MY $600 Appraisal fee back!) They encourage you not to make some payments because it will all get PAID OFF when the Closing that never happens occurs! I just had to make a double Mortgage payment of $1,877.58 as I am not used to paying late and/or being behind. The mortgage people I dealt with were Jesse Dewitt, Eric Rodriguez, Tarik Dalal and Hector Romero. I wish I would have checked BBB and Google reviews first, they seemed like a legitimate company. When I did check Homeowners outline the same refinance from hell I went through having to make double mortgage and car payments because the closing didnt happen even after signing E documents saying Congratulations with the interest rate, terms and loan amounts clearly stated. Trying to save others from the financial ruin I experienced with Iconic Mortgage Company in Miami, Florida. Cautionary tale!
