Inspirations for youth and families helped me get myself back a little more each day. All the staff and therapist were amazing and made sure all clients were taken care of. Everyone from inspirations made being away from home easy. I learned to love myself and understand addiction. My recovery wouldnt of been possible without Inspirations. I highly recommend Inspirations for any teen suffering from addiction.Laurel Barnes
My daughter attended Inspirations for Youth and Families for drug and alcohol addiction. She is definitely not the same person she was going into the program. She is the person she was before a beautiful, loving, caring and funny individual. She has learned a lot from being there. It is a very family orientated place. Everyone works together as a team starting from the owners, to the social workers, to the therapists, to the staff and even the kids that attend there. Everyone who works there are loving and they make your childs stay there feel just like being at home. I recommend that any parent who has a teen suffering from drug and alcohol abuse to send their teen to Inspirations for Youth and Families.
I highly recommend Inspirations. I have met with Scott Brand and his passion and energy that he brings to the clients, through speakers and planning events by going above and beyond the basic treatment program! I am looking forward to work with Inspirations! The team at Inspirations encourages clients and are given the opportunity to use their ideas and talent and encourage them to utilize those gifts and set goals to accomplish anything they put their mind to! AMAZING PROGRAM!!
Im the personal trainer at inspirations, these kids make my day every single time. The techs and therapists are amazing, the kids look up to them so much. Working out gives the kids an opportunity to overcome mental and physical obstacles. My goal is to inspire them and push them to do things they never imagined possible. Inspirations truly gives the kids an opportunity to be successful in life. Im honored to work with this company and todays youth. I would highly recommend inspirations yourh and families.
Ive had the pleasure of working and partnering with Inspirations for Youth and Families and I will attest their team and staff is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this facility for youths and families who are struggling with drug addiction. Addiction is a terrible disease that can ruin peoples lives and break even the strongest of families. Inspirations works tremendously hard for their patients to not only recover from their addiction but to THRIVE in overall health and wellness!
Inspirations is a success on so many levels. Not only do I personally know people that have had a smooth recovery, but they also give back to the community. Inspirations promotes awareness and is truly passionate about not only every individuals recovery but they also help guide individuals after the process is over. Inspirations is the whole package and I highly recommend them.
Inspirations for Youth & Families is a top notch provider of addiction recovery services specifically geared for young people & teens. As an industry leader, they provide groundbreaking treatments for young people and their families. We are proud to be working with them to help them reach more & more people in need
The staff at inspirations are not only professional but they have a level of heart for the work they do. I am a mother of a teenager that was at a hopeless level before Inspirations. Being in a place that is not your actual home and then having to leave your son 3 hours away from you was daunting to say the least but Inspirations made me feel more than comfortable from my first phone call. The Director of Admissions, Mark was so responsive. He answered my calls and texts within minutes and walked me through the steps to get my son help without losing him in the process. Mark would call me after he got home and even stepped on his dog during one of our conversations on the phone :) Mark is dedicated to the work he does and I could never thank him and the staff at Inspirations for what they have done to help my son get healthy again. The first visit with my son was after he was in the facility for 9 days. When we arrived at the facility we were greeted by a tech named Darryl and a therapist Jose. Darryl encouraged me and stated that my son is a good kid, wow!!! I almost forgot that after all that we have been through. Jose came out of his office to talk to my husband and I (and this was on a Sunday) and even told us of some places that we could take our son to eat while we were there. Listen folks, this is dedication!!!! There is no other way to explain it.My son got in the car and talked our ears off. We havent heard him talk so much in over a year. He would hide in his room and avoid us at all cost. He told us that being at Inspirations was like being at church camp. What!!!! Ok, that was worth all the pain that we have gone through during this process. He reported that the staff are good and he likes all of them even the ones that try and press the rules :) My son saw a kid come to the program one day and then elope the next day and he said that is so stupid, why would he do that. He has observed some of the other kids be disrespectful to the techs at Inspirations and stated the kids there are so immature, Im the most immature one there. You have to understand that this is a different kid. This kid wanted to hide in the shadows and preferred to not be seen by anyone and he wouldnt dare say anything about anyone because that was being a snitch. This progress was after only 9 days at the center. When our sons therapist, Larry, told us that the difference between our son before coming to the center and after he leaves the center is that he will be educated about his drug use which wont allow him just to do it and he would think about its consequences. He was absolutely right and I have seen the progress and heard from my son the profound education that he is receiving.During the process we talked to several staff members who were always responsive. I have never gotten a voice mail that wasnt returned promptly and more than not, I always got a voice on the other end, no matter what time it was or what I needed. I was provided with cell phone numbers rather than just a desk phone. Oh, and our original day of admit was a Friday afternoon but my husband and I decided to tell our son 1 day early and so he became very upset before we were able to get him in the car and once he got in the car, we immediately left. I called Mark, Director of Admissions and he answered and called all his staff and got us in that night. WOW!!! Again dedication to the work and not to the job.I am a social worker in the field of helping and I know that there are many people that are in this work for a paycheck, and it shows, but there are also people that do this out of a heart of service to others, to make the world a better place to live in, and that is exactly what Inspirations does. Our family will forever be indebted to Inspirations for the work they continue to do with our son, and to the work they are going to do for your kids. Take the first step, breath and let Inspirations handle the rest.
It is so nice that a program like this is available for our children. Inspirations for Youth knows that all children learn and heal differently. This is why they offer so many different types of therapy that they can try with our children. To top it off, their providers and staff are very polite and professional, really making a hard situation much easier to navigate through. Highly Recommend!
I went here when I was a teenager and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Addiction is a cunning, lethal enemy and half of the girls I spent my time here with are either sober, or deceased. This program did not keep me sober but it was an experience Im glad I had.
Inspirations for Youth and Families continues to amaze. While not an active or previous client, my experience with the facility stems from a working relationship with the owners and staff, as well as conversations with some of the teen clients. The owners and staff are passionate about helping teens and adolescents face and deal with issues that may be at the root cause of troubles being experienced on the home front, at school and/or with peers; head-on, constructively confrontational challenges - embracing accountability - to find out what is really going inside these teens - whats really going on - in a safe, protected and loving environment. By-products of the environment are bonds developed within the client-base helping foster love and tolerance with others that may not normally develop - kids from all parts of the U. S. - Alaska, California, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Wyoming and all points in-between. If I had children or if a niece or nephew or other friends children needed to seek help, Inspirations for Youth and Familes is where they would be directed.
The call center staff are very informative and will take the time to make sure all your questions are answered, believe me I had a million! The therapists and techs are wonderful, you can tell they truly care. My son has been there for 36 days now and although theres been some rough patches, I am overjoyed with the progress hes made thus far. Ill try to post an update after hes home.
This place is terrible. I was recommended this place by Joe di Maggio children’s hospital. As a renowned facility, I took their recommendation and I regret having had my 14 year old son there for 34 days. This place is terrible, communication and therapy non existent. Kids are allowed to roam. My son picked up a smoking habit at this facility as they would pick up discarded cigarette butts from the street and roll the tobacco in toilet paper and smoke it. The facility and the staff leaves a lot to be desired. I’m thankful I found a great facility in Lantana for adolescents that is run by a quadruple certified psychiatrist that has truly helped him. Please ignore all the great reviews. These are false.
They contribute greatly to the recovery community with a robust public information campaign to assist people and family in recovery. Starting to address addiction issues and their underlying causes early is almost effective way of ensuring a healthy, fulfilling adult life. They are professional, respectful, and have the needs of the client at the forefront. Highly recommend to anyone seeking assistance for their family in combatting this destructive disease.
I was fooled by all of the wonderful reviews and took my daughter to this facility. Clearly these are fake reviews. Let me start with the positives. Two of the therapists, Safraz and Adina, were wonderful with my daughter. It’s a shame they have to be associated with this place. Now for the negatives. There was a review posted about one year ago and my experience is exactly the same as hers. Also numerous other negative reviews if you scroll back far enough.1. The NEVER answer the phone. It is impossible to contact anyone until your child is assigned a therapist and then you communicate with the therapist via their cell phone. If it wasn’t for Safraz responding to me on his personal time, on his personal cell, I would have gone crazy worrying.2. This facility is not locked. To be fair, they tell you up front and you must agree that you understand this. They describe it as “staff secured”. To me, this means that if a staff member sees your child attempting to run away, they will attempt to stop them. Just like the lady that left the review a year ago, my daughter ran away. They do have a gate (which can be climbed over) and as she was attempting to open the gate, a staff member (one of the techs), asked her if she needed help, opened the gate for her, called her a derogatory name, and told her not to come back. The techs are very verbally and emotionally abusive. My daughter was gone for 4 days. It was like pulling teeth to get information from the staff. I live 5 hours away and was not able to be there personally. I received a call on day 3 of her being gone asking me what i wanted them to do with her stuff.3. During the time that my daughter was gone, and after she was found (not by the inspirations, by the police) and sent to Ft. Lauderdale behavioral health center, my communication with the local police as well as the hospital staff, was very negative in regards to this facility. They stated this sort of thing happens all the time.4. After my daughter was found, I transferred her to another facility that is locked and that she had been to before. I’ve been trying for 3 weeks to get my daughters belongings sent to her at the new facility and have been consistently lied to and given the run around regarding this. I finally threatened a lawsuit today and miraculously her belongings were found and sent immediately (at least i hope so, that remains to be seen). The clinical directory, Karen, is the one who lied on numerous occasions in regard to this. If you can’t trust the supervisor of the therapists, how can you trust anyone there?Options for children in Florida are slim, but please do not send your child here. It’s a dangerous place in a dangerous city. One of the police detectives told me nobody should come to Ft. Lauderdale for rehab, and especially not to this place.
My name is Sinclaire. I went to Inspirations back in 2011! Rose L was my therapist, and I really will say that her, and Inspirations, changed my life. It was NOT easy nor was it an easy choice to finally go but I am glad I did and have benefitted from it tremendously! I have accomplished so many things over the years being clean from drugs, that even I never imagined. Inspirations taught me so much from accountability to teamwork and learning to lean on others when I need a helping hand, among many other things. I just wanted to reach out as I really think what Inspirations is doing is great and I am so glad to see your posts on my Facebook feed! Hopefully adolescents in need will be exposed to the information and make the hardest decision of their lives!Best Regards,Sinclaire
My name is Katy Bishop and I wanted to take the time to salute INSPIRATIONS for YOUTH and FAMILIES for the work they do providing assistance to teens that struggle with substance abuse ( may it be drugs or alcohol ) .Although I have not had personal experience at the center I have come to know those involved and feel assured that it is a center thats staff is fully committed to help overcome issues related to teen drug abuse . With that said it is my opinion that addressing the root of abuse is equally important . From a patients point of view ( and I have been one else where ) these lessons prove to been invaluable to me in my journey . Not only does IYF provide a stable , caring environment but also think to the long term and how to live life and handle all the challenges life can bring ( sober and drug free ). Keep up the great work on day at a time ! Regards , Katy Bishop
Very good program and a great sewrvice to the community and the youth that are attending. This program is helping a lot of kids to get back on the right path. Giving them a chance at a bright and prosperous future by building strong foundations and stability. These kids are very well mannered and are really getting a lot out of this program and moving on with bright futures ahead.Congradulations to the recent graduates keep up the good work !Keep up the good work Inspirations!!
It is refreshing to see a teen drug & alcohol rebab that is not a lock down facility (jail/prison) that not only gives teens the freedom but a sense of self worth and purpose. The teens are treated like they are being rehabilitated and not punished thus creating self esteem and self worth. Self esteem creation is key in this age category where they are looking for what their purpose is in life. The sheer number of day trips that they take is astounding and includes everything from the beach to the zoo to ice skating to attending Major League baseball games. The full course of treatment that brings them back into the world instead of isolating them from the world makes them better equipped and ready to handle the stresses of everyday life upon discharge. Hats off and many congratulations to Inspirations for treating these teens with dignity and respect. Keep up the great work.
We thank Inspirations for Youth and Families for their contributions for the upcoming Broward Recovery Month. As a leading digital marketing agency for the treatment profession, we are able to see when a drug and alcohol rehab stands out in the addiction treatment center. And it is obvious to Idea180 that Inspirations or Cove (when applicable) is a premiere addiction treatment facility
I have been allowed the opportunity to tour and visit with the clinical staff at Inspirations youth and it is top notch! Every question I had was thoroughly answered, I was able to get opinions from current and former clients and everybody has nothing but great things to say. 10/10 would recommend for families who have teenagers struggling with substance abuse.
In my judgement, Inspirations for Youth and Families... has the ability to deal effectively with teen addiction. Their combination of expertise and caring are unbeatable. Inspire to be well. Real world experience. Individually-tailored treatment that fits. I cant say enough.
So they deleted my first review and i need everyone to know what they did to me and my family. After seeing this program on the huffing episode of dr Phil i decided to google it. I made contact with Mark a person who worked at admissions and who made many fake promises and lies. Within days i flew my son out to the program. I was told that all a charges would be on the financial agreement and that no extras would be charged. This was a LIE!!! Im still getting billed for different services from them. BEWARE!! Now for the horrible part so i sent my son because he was using Marijuana, his use wasnt continuous but i just wanted to make sure that he cut his drug use and that it didnt worsen with time. First week of inspirations several kids were running away, sneaking in drugs into facility and when two kids were arguing late night staff would have them do something called fight night. Both kids were locked in their room and they would both fight until staff decided to separate them. When this occurred to my son he asked to call home and they didnt allow him to do so. He then ran away and was found by someone on the beach. He was beaten up hungry, sunburnt hadnt had food or water for days. Inspirations failed to contact me and let me know that he was missing. The lady who found him was good enough to call me and take him to the airport. My son is now suffering trauma from everything he witnessed at inspirations. He went in using only marijuana and ended up confessing that he was able to access heroin while inside of the rehab. He confessed to snorting it and snorting other pills. This place ruined my family and my life. When he came back home i started doing more research turns out owners have neglected their children and are heavy alcoholics and drug users. Dont believe me google it. Save your family and your kids and send them somewhere else. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go there.
Inspirations has been supporting youth for many years and has not only contributed financially but has participated and volunteered for events over the last few years with the boca Raton police department. Karen Walsh is one of the most generous and diligent people I know. Its obvious that Karen loves what she does and is always available to lend a helping hand and support youth in our community
I went to Inspirations for some question and I have to say by far their customer service and level of care is second to none these guys really put their best foot forward whether it is you sign up for their Program and getting clean or whether you simply have some general question. All I can say is the care you feel when you walk in their is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking to better their lifes and get clean.
My first and only experience with a rehab place. Very pleasantly surprised. more interested in helping than in profits.staff friendly and accommodating. helpful with insurance also.the sexes are separatedmonthly family weekends, and weekly family therapy and weekly family outings. kids progress in levels and support each other.
As a parent that takes an active role with my kids, I have seen firsthand, teens going down the wrong path by taking drugs and consuming alcohol at a young age. I have gotten involved with helping parents take their teens back. But Im not a professional. If you are a parent who is living with their teens alcohol and drug abuse, give the people at Inspirations For Youth and Families a call. They will help YOU, effectively and professionally, help YOUR child.
Inspirations Youth fires back at addiction on a deeper level. They not only address the substance abuse but also the underlying issues that contributed the to substance abuse in the first place. They incorporate the families as well which is a key piece in substance abuse treatment.
I want to sincerely thank Scott Brand for helping me with my graduate research. I am doing a graduate research which require me to interview professionals who work on social media marketing. I found Mr. Brand via LinkedIn. He is so kind and was the first to give me positive reply. It really gives me courage and confidence to continue my project. My interview and survey questionnaire is very detail and long actually. But still, Mr. Brand offers me those help.Thank you again, Mr. Brand.
Inspirations for Youth and Families has proven time and time again through successful team addiction recovery outcomes that they could take your teen with drug problems and turn them into sober adolescents with bright futures. I highly recommend IYF for teens suffering from SUD and BH issues.
Im beyond honoured to be associated with Inspirations for Youth and Families and to support them however Im able in their goal to empower and infuse the young people and their families who need their services with both renewed optimism and fresh hope for a brighter, happier, healthier future and moreover to believe that they can. Long may the sterling work they do continue
I am Clean and Sober, living in NY City since December 2015. I came to the City to work as a Construction Manager at 237 East 34th Street. I worked for this Real Estate Developer since 2004.I am now the Resident Manager, living in the building. Most people in my life only know of the Great, Gold Standard DannyT. Please allow me to share my story with you. I am looking to share my story with people, in the hopes of saving lives, families, professions, marriages, etc...When the real estate market started collapsing in 2008, my life started to go off the Deep End. I started to drink alcohol day, and night. I started to use other drugs day, and night. Please allow me to honestly share with you the black hole that was my life, which was deeper then I could have ever envisioned:1. Arrested for DUI in 2012; and2. Arrested for DUI in 2013; and3. Arrested for Driving with Suspended License in 2014; and4. Charges dropped in a 2015 case where I completed Drug Court; and5. Public Admonishment from the Florida Bar; and6. 91 day Suspension from the Florida Bar. 91 days are over, am now in the process for Reinstatement; and7. Loss of a job, and all income; and8. Loss of all savings; and9. Loss of all love and contact with family members; and10: Loss of all love and contact with my children; and11. Loss of respect from everyone; and12. Loss of a great marriage.Etc..........................................I spent 11 months of 2015 smoking crack, and drinking whiskey. I spent from December 11, 2015 (day I entered the Cove Center for Recovery), until today, and counting, putting Humpty Dumpty back together again. I am clean and sober 18 months. My AA/NA home group is the Mustard Seed at 122 east 37th street.I went almost 2 years without seeing my 3 children. I was in treatment and missed my middle sons Bar Mitzvah. You do not need to be bored with my war stories. I am back in contact with my children and family - taking life 1 day at a time.I basically started my life over again in moving to New York, and am building a great life in the city.In 2015, all HOPE was erased from my life. Today, my life is filled with HOPE. The initial glimmers of hope, which are now beams of hope, entered my life during my stay at the Cove Center for Recovery.I entered the rehab a broken human being. Every aspect of my life was destroyed. I spent the next 30 days at the learning to: forgive myself, live life on lifes terms, understand addiction, and understand how to live life without the dependance on drugs and alcohol.I am proud of past accomplishments, including: youngest Councilman, Assistant Mayor, and Mayor of Bal Harbour, Florida; youngest President of the Miami-Dade County League of Cities; one of the youngest Board Members of the Florida League of Cities; volunteer for 9 years in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program, etc.........My life is far from perfect. However, I wake each morning, and go to sleep each night using all the tools learned at the Cove. Those important lessons learned enable me to live an amazing sober life - 1 day at a time.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!!!!! THEY HAVE ZERO CONCERN ABOUT NEED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL!!!! This place will lie to you and provide false hope while ruining you and your childs life! Witching the first 5 mins of meeting her they sent her to the hospital to be committed just because she was not giving them eye contact Do not trust this place it will ruin your life with your child. Try anything else but here!
I entrusted these people with my 16 year old son I gave them power of attorney my son made the bad decision to run away from the facility and when he tried to come back they said that he could not come back because they would arrest him and call the police they left my son in a state where he knew no one and he didnt know where he was he was forced to live on the streets of South Beach for 4 days before I was able to get in contact with him and bring him to a safe place Inspirations youth should be ashamed of themselves for what they did they willingly put my child in danger I would not send your child here because if something goes wrong they do not care

2021-10-02I can’t believe this place is still open. They closed down shortly after we paid $20,000.00. I have text messages that were accidentally sent to me and not meant for the eyes of a parent. As a mental health professional, this place is a disgrace and it was ironic because after they sent home my son and all the other adolescents the owner went on vacation. What a shame and I am disappointed nothing was ever done to prevent it from opening back up a few months after closing. They never billed our insurance so, we had to pay for everything. In addition, they took my son to the wrong hospital for his surgery. They didn’t treat his mental health either and food was limited and not was promised to my son. Don’t go! Contact Kevin at the “The Addict Diary” onFacebook and ask him for recommendations.

2017-07-27Words are not enough to express how grateful and thankful I am for all Inspirations has done for my son. After 77 days at Inspirations, he is a changed young man. The program helped me through the process from the very first day when I spoke with Mark, until the last day when Lopez and Denise were there to see him off. I know that they have all done a great job, not only because I can see the difference in my son, but because he says that he wishes he could go back.My son had been to two other residential facilities and never lasted more than a month. At Inspirations the staff, especially Lopez, and Denise, helped him adjust and feel comfortable. I knew he was well taken care off and looked after.I appreciate the work the educational, medical, and therapist staff have done for him. I can not believe that I am now living with the same child. Since he has been back we have had our challenges, but in all it has been smooth sailing. My son feels accomplished and motivated to do well and continue his education, not only for himself, but to go back to show Lopez and Denise his GED. There is not a day that goes by that he does not talk about the staff, his friends, down to the very kind and helpful receptionists.Thank you all for helping my child, for taking such good care of him and mostly for helping me become a better parent to him. I am truly grateful to all of you, and would recommend this program to anyone.

2015-01-10I worked as a therapist for Inspirations for nearly 2 years. I recently had to resign because I am moving to another city to be closer to family. But I can honestly say that working at Inspirations was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The clinical staff genuinely care about the wellbeing of each and every child that enters treatment. I feel so blessed that I was able to work with such dedicated and talented therapists to save the lives of countless precious children. I will truly miss my colleagues and my clients. I will always be grateful that I was able to help them on their road to recovery. Inspirations really is an amazing place.

2015-11-07Going to Inspirations was the best decision I could have made. It was a life changing experience. The technicians, education team, therapist, and nurses are absolutely amazing. Inspirations made my recovery possible. The therapists go out of there way to make things happen for every client and put their clients before themselves. Inspirations provides field trips every weekend which makes staying there much easier. I never went without anything I needed, Inspirations was my home away from home. You form relationships with the other clients, and staff and when it comes time to go home, its not the easiest having to say bye. I loved my stay at inspirations. Because of Inspirations I was able to learn about the disease of addiction, how to cope and move forward in life while staying sober.

2015-10-26When looking for a behavioral drug and alcohol rehab for my daughter I did a lot of research and all the things I was looking for pointed to Inspirations for Youth and Families. They have a great therapist, a phenomenal location, a strong educational academy, and they take the kids on many field trips to allow them to make an easier transition at discharge. Selecting Inspirations for my daughter was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Thank you Inspirations for Youth and Family for inspiring my daughter to better herself as well as helping my family through some tough times.- Theresa and Joe

2014-11-05Thank you Inspirations for Youth and Families for allowing Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. to come and speak to the youth in your care about healthy relationships and teen dating violence during October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month.I greatly enjoyed my experience as many youth participated in the various discussions of relationships and shared their own personal experiences. I was happy that they felt safe enough to disclose personal information, not only to myself but also to Inspirations staff and other participants. This really speaks about the environment created by Inspirations for Youth and Families that allows this sense of safety. By inviting guest speakers from other community agencies, the youth in their care were also able to learn that they have a support network out in the community with additional resources available to them.I look forward to future conversations with the youth at Inspirations for Youth and Families thanks to the wonderful staff that want all youth to possess the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their futures.

2016-12-07Inspirations is a Wonderful facility for troubled teens dealing with addiction and mental health issues. The Owners have had over a decade of experience in helping people of all ages overcome their addiction issues as well as other mental health issues. The staff consists of hard working, caring and dedicated individuals who not only focus on the health and well being of every teen that comes into their facility but are also constantly researching new ways to better serve their clients and community.
