Ive been in various martial arts for many years, specifically in Aikido for the last 20 plus. I decided to branch out into a more self defense oriented discipline. I was fortunate to be guided to Krav in Pompano. It was difficult to start from ground zero, yet again. Im glad it was here ! The instruction is professional, friendly and very clear. The environment is awesome. Every student comes with a great attitude and a willingness to learn. The curriculum is taught in a relevant and methodical way that allows everyone to learn and assimilate at their own pace. The instructors are proficient and friendly. I highly recommend this school to anyone that is willing to evolve into any level of self defense. 5 Stars !
Randall and JJ are excellent teachers.After only six weeks of training, I:Lost 10 pounds and gained endurance.Developed fighting and defensive skills.Gained confidence that I would have better than a 50/50 chance defeating any attacker.And, more than an 80% chance of surviving any attack without major injury.The class members also add to the effectiveness and enjoyment of each class. Members support each other in an atmosphere that promotes hard work in a very friendly and sociable setting.
I’ve wanted to learn Krav Maga for a while now and I was extremely lucky to stumble upon this training center. From the first lesson, Randall has been encouraging, knowledgeable, and very easy to get along with. He breaks down each new move into easy to learn steps and carefully helps you perfect it. I’d recommend Krav Maga to anybody who wants to be able to defend themselves as well as feel stronger with each lesson.
My wife and I recently signed up for self defense training at Krav Maga Worldwide in Pompano Beach Fl. After reading many reviews about local self defense centers, we chose Randall Koch and Krav Maga Worldwide training center in Pompano and are now in our third week of training. We are totally amazed and extremely pleased with our decision. When we arrived for our first day of instruction, we were welcomed by the owner and lead instructor Randell Koch. Randall welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home from the very beginning. The fist and biggest concern about going to a training center was the cleanliness of the facility. We were very pleased about the steps taken by Randell and the center to ensure cleanliness and how concerned Randell was about the welfare of his students. The center has strict processes in place to ensure proper cleanliness. When you first walk in, there is a set up with two mats to clean and disinfect your shoes. All equipment is wiped down by the instructor as soon as students are finished training. we were very impressed. The center also adheres to all regulations associated with social distancing requirements. YOU WILL BE AMAZED!!!. That is just the beginning of the awesome first experience. We were even more impressed and amazed about The owner and lead instructor Randall himself. Randell has extensive experience and is an amazing instructor and teacher. He is patient and encouraging. He is calm and reassuring. He is kind and very accommodating. Randall always goes above and beyond to ensure every session is better than the last. TRUST US ! it is. My wife and I train 3 mornings a week before going to work. we arrive at 8AM and Randell is there to welcome us with great enthusiasm. We are so happy we chose Krav Maga Worldwide Pompano Beach. Every session is an amazing learning experience. Randall will guide you every step of the way. Anyone seeking top notch Krav Maga instruction and having a great experience doing so needs to give Krav Maga Worldwide in Pompano Beach and Randall Koch a try. You will be glad you did.
I am so thankful for Randall and everything I learned here- I feel more confident and prepared than ever to leave for college as a female student. Randall is a great teacher, extremely knowledgeable and fun, and I had no problem learning the skills under his instruction. Not only is it a great workout, but entirely practical for any real life situation. Krav Maga is a great choice for self defense as well as a challenge!
Ive been in and out of martial arts for years but never attended a school with instructors better than this one. Randall and JJ truly Help you succeed. Krav Maga. The classes are filled with people of all different Fitness levels, but we are all treated the same. . There are other schools closer to my home. But I travel 1 hour. To attend these classes due to the instructors. I highly suggest you check out this school. You will not be disappointed.
Seven years ago, I started taking Krav Maga classes with Randall, and within a month was actually demonstrating knowledge and skills of basic fighting.As someone with average ability, Im surprised at my fighting progress. I attribute my skills to my teacher, Randall, who has empowered me to keep improving, to never doubt how much practice pays off, to learn from other students as well as teach those that come after me. If you’re looking to train in a friendly and supportive environment, develop life saving skills, and get an intense workout all in one place, look no further! Randall is an incredible teacher and a humble professional. He has cross trained in multiple different styles and as a result, you will benefit from his collective experience and develop your own self defense skills very quickly. Outnumbered 2:1? Pff, that’s it?. Being choked on the ground? There’s a way to get out of that. Someone has you at gun point from the side? Perfect, this is exactly what you’ve trained for. Getting kidnapped with a pillowcase over your head? I feel fortunate to have one of the countrys top experts located right here in my hometown. I love training with Randall. I have taken both private and semi-private lessons and can truly say they have changed my life for the better. His motivation, dedication and attention to detail make it easy to improve each week. Im very fortunate to have found Randall at Krav Maga Worldwide. Ive known about Krav Maga for several years, but it took me until last year to finally take my first lesson, and Im glad I did. Randall is a great instructor, he recognizes your skill level and he wont overwhelm you with impossible tasks. Youll learn little by little with every lesson so that you advance at the right pace. I find that Krav Maga is not only a physical experience, but also an educational one as well; for example, each lesson reveals something different about your body that you might have never known; lack of flexibility, struggling to use your non-dominant side, or trouble with breathing...Krav Maga will help reveal these weaknesses. If youre on the fence about trying it, get off of that fence right now and get yourself into some Krav Maga!

I started as a complete beginner with no experience in KravMaga. Randall is a fantastic instructor who is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his students and the quality of the teaching that he provides. I started attending classes here in September and haven’t looked back. The training is intense, and we come away with new skills after each class. If you want to learn how to defend yourself against real life attacks, this is defiantly the place to do so. Randall and JJ are both wonderful instructors and the other students are always happy to help each other out. 10/10 recommend! Especially if your goal is to feel capable of defending yourself. Their goal is to make sure you feel safe out in the streets. JJ is simply fantastic at equipping you with the right skills! Absolutely GREAT instructing and environment - he quickly makes sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. Three months in (with almost daily practice) and I got my yellow belt! This is the place to be if you want to have a blast while getting fit and prepared for real life situations.
Great self-defense program! JJ is an awesome instructor, knowledgeable and entertaining. Its all very practical stuff, oriented to real life situations. Good exercise too, I started to get in better shape without even trying to. 100% recommend, its totally worth it.
Reality-based self defense, without the fluff. Ive trained here for 10 months and love it. Randall is an amazing instructor who cares for his students and is completely dedicated to improving our skills. He is extremely experienced, yet personable and humble, qualities you dont always find in instructors.Ive practiced two other types of classical martial arts in the past. The biggest difference Ive noticed is that while other styles are mostly concerned with learning traditional movement, Krav Maga is strictly concerned with doing what works, in the real world, today. The goal isnt to score points or to compete. The goal is to defend yourself and survive. Its not a knock on other styles, they just serve a different purpose.Highly recommend Krav Maga Worldwide and Randall to all levels of prior experience who want to learn reality-based self defense. Oh, and its also a great workout for staying in shape.
My son and I attended class with Randall while in town for a short stay. My only regret is that i didnt get more classes in while I was there. He was dynamic and thorough. His students were involved and Randall encouraged realistic interaction when drilling and even during the warm up.If you live in the Pompano/ Lauderdale area, or just visiting you should start your day off with the only workout that could save your life at KMW with Randall.
Krav Maga worldwide offers a very authentic training experience. I’ve grown up in martial arts, practicing several systems in several locations. This is the one location I have attended that I can truly say just wants to teach Krav Maga. There is no incentive to buy merchandise or pay for private lessons, instead they offer a family friendly feel. It is a very small dojo with small class sizes. The instructors Randall and JJ are great and very attentive to small details. The smaller setting allows for more of a one on one feel and personal attention to your training. I switched to this location from another Krav location in the area about 2 years ago and am very glad I did so.
I knew Krav Maga was the discipline of martial arts I wanted to study because of its real world concepts. I visited 3 Krav studios that looked ok, but it took all of about 10 minutes of watching Randall teach a class when I knew KM Worldwide was it.Nevermind Randall being well-versed in multiple martial art backgrounds, hes solely focused on the student(s) during and after classes. Ive seen other egomaniac instructors be arrogant and love to present a tough guy image and its off-putting. Randalls done an excellent job of creating an environment of supportive students and instructors that have made me train harder than I ever have, and love doing it.I cant give KM Worldwide enough praise, and would highly recommend it if youre looking to get in great shape and learn real-world self defense.
This is the only type of workout that I’ve stuck with going on almost two years now. It’s fun and, more importantly, it’s useful. I always dreaded going to the gym and always hated every minute of it. But training in Krav Maga is so different. There is a purpose for every drill. And with every skill learned, another benefit appears, from better agility to improved endurance. My reflexes are so much better now than when I first started, and so is my cardio. I really respect my instructors and appreciate the effort they put into teaching me. I recommend Krav Maga Worldwide especially for the ladies!
I cant say enough good about this school or its instructors. Krav Maga is not a ring sport school. Its all about rapidly developing your situational awareness, physical endurance and the skills you will need to defend against the most common forms of assault you may face in the world today! I always had a great time here! The sessions were always adapted to the skill sets and sizes of the classes. If there was even just one person who didn’t know the basics, it would be taught so nobody felt behind or left out. I only attended for a few days a month, but I learned a lot in that time, and there’s so much more left. Definitely worth going here!
I joined Krav Maga Worldwide Official Training Center – Pompano Beach about 4 months ago and I’m so glad I did. The self-defense training is excellent, with constant reference to real life situations and potential applications. This is invaluable for me as a female who often travels solo. The owner/instructor, Randall KocM, is meticulous about technique and form, and is a very detailed and patient teacher. Classes are well structured and intense, and work for both beginners and more advanced students since you progress at your own pace. Classes offered cover self-defense, sparring, ground fighting and kickboxing, and they’re all open to students of every level. At KMWOTC I found a dedicated instructor who will teach his students as little or as much as they’re willing to learn. And I also found a group of awesome people to train with. If you’ve been considering getting started you should definitely give it a try. See you on the mats!

This place is amazing! A very positive atmosphere. JJ and Randall are both extremely knowledgeable, but also upbeat & welcoming. They care about you as a client, and they care about you as a person. Go here for self defense-youll feel so much better!
Great atmosphere, diverse and friendly people, exceptional demonstrations and personalized instruction! Class is intense and fun. You get out of it what you put in. You also will have bragging rights when someone brings up how awesome Krav Maga is (happens more than you would think). Highly Recommended! If your still unsure, you could always watch a class from the sidelines.
Excellent training by a Professional Team. Randall and JJ made me feel very comfortable despite my age and fitness level. We worked hard and the workout became the highlight of our day. I have lost 35 pounds so far and counting.
Krav Maga brings great health benefits! Four months ago my cholesterol and other numbers like blood sugar were through the roof. I committed to training more often, 6-8 hours a week instead of 3, a mix of class and conditioning. I dont do any other exercise. I have arthritis and COPD, so finding the right way to exercise is a challenge. In four months, with only minor changes in diet, my cholesterol came down 27 points. Its still too high but at this rate it will be normal in three more months. My blood sugar and other things that were off are now normal. It can be hard for someone with a desk job to commit to that much cardio, but at Krav Maga Worldwide you arent just getting fit, you are learning to defend yourself and you are doing it with friends. Thats what keeps you going back and going back is what gets the health results.
One of the best things I ever done was choosing to join this place. Coaches are very knowledgeable, down to earth, and amazing to work with. And they just got a new facility! If you’re looking to add a new skill to your resume or just get in shape, I highly recommend KMW FTL.

2022-06-06If youre like me and have zero experience with any form of self defense or martial arts training, have no fear or hesitation. Randall (along with Shadow the cat) has created a very welcoming and friendly Atmosphere. Not only is Randall an expert in his craft, but he is also an excellent teacher who is patient, approachable, and always looking for new ways or new gear/props to better help his students. This class prepares you for real life scenarios. At the end of each class I always walked out 6ft tall (I am a petite 51 female) because it made me more confident in myself and my ability to keep myself and others safe from the unexpected. Worth every penny.

2022-06-24I’m in my early sixties and have no prior training. Besides learning self-defense its a good physical body workout. Ive been coming twice a week and now after several months I have graduated to level 2. Ive gained a couple pounds but my waist has gotten slimmer, my pants fit looser now. I highly recommend this place.

2021-08-22I went to train before I left for college just expecting to leave with basic defense mechanisms and ended up leaving with not only that but a new mentality and friends. JJ and Kara are such a good team to work with and have so much patience when teaching. This place will definitely break you out of your shell and teach you discipline. Randall is also a knowledgeable teacher and has your best interest in mind. Also, the class itself is very clean and they sanitize everything after using it.

Randall and JJ are both amazing and knowledgable instructors, and the environment is so very welcoming and supportive. This is a perfect place if you’re looking to not only learn valuable self-defense, but build confidence and make great connections as well. I would recommend this place 1000 times over. Taking classes here has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
