Very poor quality of house. I bought a house in Miami, FL. It continues having small problems in the house every day. The pluming, the paint and doors are very bad quality. I called customer care to fix the problems, they always makes me to wait one week. When the customer representative comes to my house, he says a lot of things that are not included in the warranty. Thats so bad. I bought the house with bad quality and they finished the construction in a very short period of time. The warranty is only for one year, but it always has small problems. The house looks very cheap and it is not worth that price. So angry with Lennar and I will not buy the house any more and will tell every one not to buy it. The technician went to my house with very bad attitude. They should take care of the house quality and customer service. Very bad company. Want to complain this company to the government.
DONT BUY FROM LENNAR!!! This company doesnt deserve any stars. Ive been in the house for over a year. They rush through everything. Theres no quality assurance. I have repairs that need to happen since the day we did the owner walk through, before we moved in. We were already annoyed when the things we taped didnt get done when the house closed. These items were brought up again before the 1 year warranty mark. They missed the deadline in completing everything. I was told they aim to complete all the requests within 2 weeks. Thats so not true. Now its another 5 months after the 1 year mark and things are still not complete. I told them I have guests staying over in 2 weeks so please complete everything. Now I just have 1 week left and I still got Electrical, Mechanical, drywall, paint, AND kitchen counter STILL NOT SCHEDULED. I have a very detailed email listing everything. I even took things off just so he can meet the 2 weeks deadline. Im beyond angry with this company. Its a living hell dealing with this company. DONT BUY FROM LENNAR!!! Buy from Shea Homes, their customer support is super, they actually manage and come on site to handle everything.
Most people here are reviewing the office space. Im reviewing the builder. Worst experience and builder I could imagine. I have 80+ outstanding construction defects and cant even place the home on the market. Includes mold and defective AC units as just an example.Lennar will do anything to avoid warranty repairs, right down to ignoring the homeowner. Sounds extreme? Do a search on Lennar reviews and youll see the same patterns across the country.Impacted my health and well-being and they know it - they simply dont care.Read the warranty in detail. It basically excludes more than you can imagine. You have more protections and a much better warranty when you buy a used car.Buyers beware of Lennar.
Horrible builder. Once paperwork is signed, you will be dismissed, ignored and most claims would be denied within the 1 year warranty. Look elsewhere. Research the company, it doesnt take much to find the real homeowner reviews.Homes built with multiple construction defects and Lennar does not take responsibility.
My parents just moved in at Portico Fort Myers and are having the worst experience ever. The house wasn’t finished off, the paint job was horrible, seams in the granite countertops, lights in the wrong spot and left very dirty. Nobody wants to help them from Lennar. They keep calling and calling and nobody shows up to do the work. They don’t even have all there knobs on the kitchen cabinets. The crown molding isn’t finished and there is a bubble in the ceiling. 2 weeks and nobody from Lennar will correct the problems. The only good experience was the real estate agent Stephanie. She was great. Besides that everyone they have dealt with has been unhelpful and never available. One of the workers told my mom that they aren’t there to make it perfect they just put the houses together. I feel so bad for them!! Terrible experience with Lennar after the move in. 😠😠😠😠😠. I would never recommend a Lennar home to anyone. My parents names are Martin and Linda Jurewicz.
Deceptive Business Practices / Untruthful Advertising - We visited the Lennar Homebuilders development in Royal Palm Beach on 12/28/2019, Florida under the name of Bellasera for a new home build. We met with sale staff at their on-site location, a tour of the grounds was done and several model homes including some ready built quick-move-in models visited.Ultimately, weve placed a $5000 deposit on a lot, with a $10,000 lot premium and 10 month construction time quoted, which was an available for purchase lot shown to us in the sales center on 12/30/2019. Weve returned with a pre-qualification and final selection of options desired for construction. Lennar had us initial paperwork with the desired options and the offer was submitted for the lot and home construction. A few days later, we received a phone call that our offer was accepted by Lennar with additional incentives offered and documents being electronically submitted to us for signature that afternoon. A few minutes after this phone call, another phone call came claiming that Lennar has reconsidered the offer and would not be releasing the lot to us at this time, offering another non-comparable lot for our construction needs. This was rebutted to the builder asking for an explanation on why the lot shown for sale is now not for sale. We received a response several days later claiming that due to construction needs of the development, the available lot which they advertised, accepted a deposit on and took an offer on would not be released for up to a year and a half which we would be more then welcome to wait on, of course without any additional incentives initially offered. As quoted to us, the lot will be worth a lot more in the future once additional development has been completed. These types of bait & switch business practices are unacceptable in any other sales category from vehicle purchase, to simple products and services transactions and shall not be acceptable from homebuilders looking to capitalize on additional profits from their initially publicly advertised products.Lennar’s corporate customer service is abysmal and their line of communication between buyer and builder lackluster.
Horrible place to do business with. They sold my property before my closing date, then kept my deposit after using Eagle mortgage, and they gave me the run around so I would give up on closing the second time around. All they care is selling a property and meeting their quotas. Upper management never answers your calls, and never give you a straight answer. Christie Marzoa, and Valdovinos are the worst people to deal with. They flat out told me that I lost my $9000 deposit/escrow, even after they were not able to close as scheduled. Would never deal with these thieves ever again. Be careful.I hope this prevents someone from loosing their hard-earned money.
Review for Garden Estates in West Kendall, FL:If I could give this association O stars, I would! Worst investment EVER to buy a house here. If you like to be harassed by the association with “warning tickets” over the pettiest reasons such as having a plant outside your door that they don’t like or parking “too close to the sidewalk,” if you like to be forced to use their unreliable internet service that they have a contract with that loses connection EVERY Sunday because they have “maintenance” (literally), or if you like to get your car towed regularly without warning, then this is the place for you.My family and I got our cars towed within a two week frame at the same spot that we had been parking for over a year! No warning. When we called the incompetent manager, we were told to send them pictures of towing company receipt and sign that specifies the hours that you can park there “for their review.”Do yourselves a favor, and look elsewhere where you can live at peace.
Horrible experience attempting to purchase a second Lennar home in the family. Lennar used to be good few years ago but now they are a volume builder so they care about numbers than homes for families. Lennar with their subsidiary, Eagle Mortgage pulled their gimmicks in quoting price for the home through Eagle Mortgage worksheet and then refused the agreed upon price in addition to refusing an official loan estimate after applying for the mortgage. The salesperson offered inconsistent discounts to potential homeowners. Upon reaching out to their customer service and management regarding their deceptive and discriminatory business practices they refused to acknowledge or address the situation and wasted significant amount of time which was not worth it since there are better home builders in the area that act with integrity unlike Lennar that falsely advertises integrity as one of their company values.
Terrible experience buying my new home with Lennar Miami Broward. Very unethical sales people. Refrain from doing business with them and make sure you read all the fine print of any purchase agreement with them, its all sided to their favor and against the buyer. I had to get an attorney that costed me a lot of money as Lennar unethical sales people, first they said the property would be ready in Sept 2018. Six months later, they still didnt have it ready, yet they forced me to close even though the property was not 100% finished --the buildings elevator was not functional so we couldnt move till after it was done one month later. Afterwards, I found out all residents in my community were on the same boat and feel mislead.Do NOT do business with them even if its the house of your dreams, go somewhere else ethical where they will appreciate your business. And do NOT use Lennars affiliate mortgage company, Eagle Home Mortgage They all will take advantage of regular hard working people that are just trying to buy a home after years and years of hard work... Instead of having joy after closing, you feel defeated after going through this terrible experience as they threaten buyers to cancel the contract and loose all their deposits
Horrible follow up to issues in a new construction. My in laws have been in a new construction finished just 4 months ago and elevator has stopped working 6 times with no permanent resolution. Weve sent emails nonstop to get solution and nothing has been done besides temporary fixes. Not sure what it will take for them to take this situation seriously and finally fix their brand new elevator.
I explored to purchase a property(Lot 121) at Lennar Haddonstone Atlanta and they operate with sheer unprofessionalism, bad faith and would lie through their teeth on you face and in written communication as well!We had spoken to the Sales rep Debbie Scugoza and the property manager Joe Hall and were in constant communication with them. First they quoted a price of $361K at the property and later on said that the price has increase after we reached home and showed interest. The sales rep claimed that the price has increased by 3K and its $364K. Since we liked the property we decided to go ahead and told them to send the contract to e-sign and the e-check for locking in. After we said so, they just went incommunicado on us. I followed up with them again and they told the property is sold now. I had hired a contract reviewer to go through the contract and lost $200 there which BTW I am feeling relieved about now. Had I been in business with them, I am not sure what sort of professionalism they would have displayed down the line after entering the contract. Our commitment to Quality, Value, and Integrity is the underlying foundation upon which Lennar was built --Not so much ! Its a shame that they operate in BAD Faith and lack Professionalism. Their business model is this -- Get someone interested at price X and the negotiate with another party with the price $(X+5K) and keep on doing this until they get much more than the market value.Their dictionary has a different meaning for the word - Integrity
The Lennar Company does not follow up with customers when they have repair work needed for poorly done jobs. I have a 10 minute job that has been pending since January 26, 2018 that has not been address. One attempt happened on a Saturday and the person from Lennar who was supposed to come at 10am not only never showed but also he never let us know he was not coming. For Other subsequent appointments we were told the window was from 8am to 5pm. This by itself shows a blatant disregard for the customers time. We waited 7 hours twice and by three oclock after skipping all meals we finally cancelled. Lennar chooses to make Getting the Wicked Witchs Broomstick seem easy compared to getting poor quality work on your new home fixed.
House had issue after issue after issue. Major issues from foundation cracking, to HVAC replacement, to terrible grade in yard so water just sits. If Lennar even bothers to try and fix it, they do a bandaid fix which does nothing. Zero customer care. Even their main number to Lennar is a Hoax. When you call it, it says press 0 for operator but transfers you nowhere cause they dont want to deal with complaints. Bottom line, once they get your money, youre screwed and stuck with a lemon of a house. Buy elsewhere.
UPDATED REVIEWThe repairs I requested back when I submitted the review below were never completed. This time the Hi, Im sleeping customer care rep wasnt assigned to my case. Instead I got a rep by the name of Porifirio PJ Mercado who told me to stop calling him because he was working on it after 3 weeks of waiting. I continue to be amazed how terrible this company isGotta love the Lennar customer service agent that was assigned to me this week by the name of Gonzalo Marcos... I found a new leak at 6pm today and his reply was: “Hi, I’m sleeping, please 8am to 5pm. Thanks” #disappointing #fail #customerletdown
In May of 2016 I purchased the Wentworth model in MiraLago, Parkland, FL. In September of 2016 water began to drip profusely from the ceiling AC vent in the first floor master bedroom. Lennar responded to my request for service. The problem however to this date, December 13, 2017 continues and worse than ever. I have called Lennar and emailed their CS many times and they are ignoring me by offering silence. I am not the only one with this issue in the Wentworth model. Good luck to anyone dealing with Lennar CS. Lennar leaves me no choice but to get an attorney involved to get this continuing warranty issue taken care of.
Horrible administration, they do not have the slightest humanity, they lay off their employees without having compassion, they do not care how many children leave without health insurance and how many parents leave without being able to take their maintenance to their homes family, as they are millionaires, they dont care about the needs of others
2nd time buying with them and after almost 3 months waiting to sign a contract, they send me an email saying that now they are going to work by auction, it seems disrespectful to me. They should have respected the waiting list.2nd time buying with them and after almost 3 months waiting to sign a contract, they send me an email saying that now they are going to work by auction, it seems disrespectful to me. Lennar is a corporation that does not take into account the effort of Realtors to represent them with buyers and sell their homes. It is disappointing how prospects lose when the fiscal year closes on November 30 and there is no communication between the construction and closing department. It seems that they only care to report their sales and profits in the stock market. In addition to that there is no type of response for the emails They do not give any concessions to the buyers and the Realtors ignore us even though we market their developments. Hopefully someone from corporate sees this review
Very large construction but to lower costs places not very good equipment and does not pressure its suppliers to recognize guarantees (In my case defective air conditioning equipment and claim from the purchase but they did not change it and now the failures that continue to repair them I have what to pay)

2022-06-20Very poor professionalism. I have been trying to buy a home in Orlando for 2 months in Davenport Orlando. We have qualified with another mortgage company for a much lower interest rate but they push their mortgage company and give you all types of excuses and the run around so the rates keep going up. Then yesterday all of a sudden they want you to sign and send a deposit. Really we have been trying to get this done and now you want to close because its the end of month and you need to make your quota. Doing texts all day and then at 11pm you want to doesnt say much about trusting your investment with them.

2022-02-28I purchased a Paired Home in Lakewood, Colorado in 2019, the people backed out at the last minute and boy was I excited to be a first time single owner of a new home. One month after I moved in, I came home after running errands only to find a very large water bubble in the living room ceiling. Of course, I called Lennar, they came the same day along with the Lennar plumber, they inspected the damaged area, looked up inside the hole. Nothing, they said it was probably water from the shower when flaying my arms, water got on the floor and dripped down. They repaired the damage but you can see where it was. Not a happy person! then from that point on it was one thing after another. Photos attached!

2022-07-07The absolute worst. I finally understand people who wish for zero or negative stars because this is how I feel about Lennar. If you are thinking about buying a home from them, don’t do it.

2021-05-10Had a showing today for a client. The renovations are looking great. If your business is relocating and looking to have your grand opening, there is space available here. Rent includes utilities during pre-leasing. Call me to schedule a showing.

2021-01-27Closing with members of the closing are awesome, but you have to go through HELL to get to them. Builders, site managers and their realtors lack communication skills from all levels. Beware of last minute changes with no communication. Finance office and realtors dont communicate with themselves nor the customer. Buyer beware...they put money on outside and structure and provide nothing on inside. Being your own light fixtures, shades/blinds, toilet paperw holders and towel racks...the list gos on. Again buyer beware! Could not rate as a zero.

2020-01-30This is the worse company to buy from. Recently I purchased a town home their staff from mortgage company and closing company, insurance company which are all own by Lennar are rude and inefficient. At closing they deduct for waste bill and they never paid the bill. To get a refund for their mistakes takes 2-3 weeks. Take long time to receive a response for emails. All staff I interacted with are rude and they dont care, just one more customer. One more unhappy customer.
