Be careful when hiring this firm- lack of representation and quality of preparation in cases. Over priced for paralegal fees, careful when you call as all family attorneys your on the clock for everything, however, this firm will stick it to you- bad in real estate bad in family bad in business law.Save your money there are much better and attentive lawyers in Miami who get it done- trust me they lack the skills for proper representation.

I was a client of them and Julio Marrero was a great attorney with the best service, they provided quick and fast answers to any of my questions and they were there throughout all of the litigation process, the firm employees were always present and helpful with anything and specially one of them called A. This firm recently helped me with my bankruptcy filing, and the service was great, I want to give special thank Yordania for all her help and patience with all my calls, i know they are very busy but she always manage to email me or call me. As i read the prior comment, i am shock to see someone saying anything contrary of her, since she was just so helpful. People just think that because they pay to file bankruptcy that they are ready, when the chances are you are not! these people care for there client and if you want everything to turn out good just wait and let them do there job, in the end you see how good it turns out. BUT I think some people just like to complain. you know what they say you cant make everyone happy.

I hired the Marrero Law Firm almost 3 years ago and now after I have paid thousands of dollars and doing everything I was told to do by this firm lawyers Im about to lose my home because they forgot to send my documentation to the bank on time and they are telling me that there is very little they can do for me because the Bank close my case and now I have to hire another lawyer from theyre firm again to continue a process but they are not sure if is going to work or not, Im very upset and start to get sick, cannot sleep just thinking that I have to move soon and now that I give all my money to this Lawyers they said is no much that we can do. what a horrible experience and I just want to tell anybody who want to hire a lawyer to read all this reviews and not only me is a lot of people who are been scam by this law firm.

I am really disappointed about this Law Firm. They took almost eight months and $5,000 to finalize a simple and not contested eviction, blaming the delay in the process in all parties involved, including the Honorable Judge and justifying all the excessive and abusive charges billed as necessary and correct. I hire them because of the great reviews they had, but afterwards, I realized that some of them are written by the staff members and some others are done on the first visit, when they ask you to rate their service.

This is the worst attorney I have ever used or had in my life. They will be quick to take your case and make you sign a contract to represent you, but in stead they will store your case in a box and send it to alaska.No follow up, attoneys are liers and deceivers.I was involved in a 100% rear ended no fault accident.My car was total loss 5 years ago. I never ever got a follow up call from Ozzy the attorney supposedly handling my case . If my case settled or a check was mailed to pay for my car. It mustve been deposited in their account, bc It definitely never made it to mine.Bottom line, quick contract to lock you up into using their services. No follow up, and no check, even if 100% no faul. Stay away from this office !!!
In 2013 I responded to one of their ads to start a Loan Modification. I was going thru a hardship after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. I was undergoing treatment and my health insurance and medical expenses were unbearable but I decided to give them a try and borrowed the $1400 required to start the process. What a disappointing experience. They only took my money and reviewed my case only to tell me months later that I did not qualify. I was hard to get someone on the phone to give me an update on my case and the only way to get any progress was to physically go to their office and sit there waiting for your case manager to speak to you. I sent them many emails but I only received two email responses back. They NEVER offered to reimburse at least part of this $1400.00. I tried to speak to Michelle and Alejandro but their response was that I did not qualify for the program and the money could not be refunded at all. My question to them was: Why didnt you screen an applicant to see if they qualify BEFORE taking money and making all kinds of promises that you could help them? They are a rip off . Beware!

This Law Firm is horrible, I had the worst experience ever. I paid them thousands of dollars and nothing was being done on my foreclosure case. Calling them by phone is like calling to hell. I had to make several trips to the office to get my questions answered because you can never get through to anybody. I would never ever recommend anyone to this law firm. I feel like I was just paying for luxury instead of a service. Remember, word of mouth is the most powerful advertising ever and I will make sure I use it.

If you speak Spanish, dont go because they cheat you. I was promised that they took care of everything, I paid $ 2500 because it was supposedly a total payment and that that amount would be deducted from the amount and the rest that would be left over, sign a contract in English and 1 month later I met my lawyer who did not speak Spanish and We talked for 20 minutes. (I arranged with my ex to reach an agreement) Then I went with my lawyer to court to tell the judge that I had agreed, the interpreter they promised me didnt even arrive.Cross out !! The $ 2,500 was supposedly over and there were more bills to pay. I have another court date to finish the process and I told them not to go alone because they had already taken all my money and I have no more. I will give you one that complains at The Florida Bar because it is sad and embarrassing that your own lawyers are the ones who want to take away all your money. If I put on the bill they charged me even for calling me on the phone to ask if they were going to take care of everything, because since I signed they had already changed what they promised.They wanted me to sign the cancellation possibly to keep cheating on me. 🙁

Too bad experience. I recommend to people that Miami has many lawyers who do not charge for a consultation they charged me $ 525 dollars. My ignorance of these things led me to sign a contract and pay them beforehand. Please be very careful with giving money for the simple fact that I speak with a paralegal or lawyer. I just made a bankruptcy the lawyer is excellent one of the girls who attended me is called Danay Machado excellent I have no complaint. Gentlemen in this country you have to be patient Pk wherever you go you have to wait and sometimes we get desperate and we want everything at the time we want and that is not the case the legal processes are the most decorated and that is why we have to speak badly about people. Pk tomorrow you are down and that person who speaks badly is what gives you the hand for you to get up. You just dont like to look for another but dont put anyones reputation on the floor. 2022-03-14Honest and hardworking lawyers!!!I am new to South FL and I had a real estate dispute that was time sensitive and not in my favor. I had google and called over 20 “professional firms”, waited patiently two months, with no response or call-back.I had researched some more and found Marrero, Chamizo, Marcer Law.MCM Law picked up my call right away and gave me the game plan along with the possibilities of the outcomes.The whole team and process was smooth, efficient and transparent:From the consultant asking about my case and sending out my litigation form to fill out instantly.They assigned my case to my lawyer, David Valero, and within a few minutes he introduced himself. 2022-05-27When my mother passed away, her surviving spouse was given a life estate, giving him the right to live in the property that my mother had intended for her daughters. My mothers linear descendants (myself and my sister) would then inherit the property outright upon her spouses passing. I made the mistake of contacting this law firm because I wanted to make sure that nothing illegal had been done by my mothers spouse that could jeopardize the title to the property. I was charged $250.00. When I was finally able to find a buyer for the home, two days prior to closing, the title company handling the transaction contacted me to inform me of two encumbrances/liens on the title - something that I was not informed of by this law firm. Ive attempted to contact Julio Marrero because I believe that I should be refunded my money, but to no avail. I guess the law firm is really in need of the $250.Lesson: BEWAREThis is in reply to the law firms inept reply to my post. Surprisingly enough, it only took about 30 minutes for them to reply to this while my several outreach efforts to the law firm have been ignored.I have written proof of the service that I requested. And for this firm to say that I hired them to remove the life estate, is their poor effort at mixing and mincing words (since I did in fact pay an extra $25.00 to record the death certificate to have the NAME removed from the property appraisers site).In essence, then, the law firm has admitted to charging $250 for something that is common legal knowledge that had no need to be investigated. I am truly embarrassed for them. Shameful. Again, BEWARE. They are obviously in need of the $250.And to whomever wrote the poorly written reply: - take note:For you to say that I hired the law firm to remove the life estate simply shows what little knowledge you have of the law, since the life estate ends with the passing of the person. Keep talking so that all prospective clients can see the type of law firm that Marrero, Chamizo, Marcer Law, LP is.

2021-10-20I dont know who written those 5 star reviews, maybe the firm itself, but Called to speak with attorney for my simple case landlord case. half of it was already done. Before getting to attorney, Carlos, I believe the name, their paralegal advised that prior to speaking to attorney they will charge $3,500 Security Deposit & draw out of it $400/hr rate, a criminal attorney rate for simple civil landlord tenant case. With such approach the $3,500 will run out fast and they will send a bill for more. This office has money and not Clients best interests. I was shocked & ended call.

They got the job done and remained with me fort almost a year until they helped with what I wanted. yes, a little pricy and you are always on the clock, as with many other law firms (no more flat fee with them) but they got the job done which is important.
