Just opened today. Looks like a really nice boat ramp and a good place to fish. Looking forward to fishing here soon.

2021-12-28Absolutely beautiful out there. Had no idea thia area existed. We rode our bikes for 15 miles and did not cover all trails. But I qould not recommend taking a dog and letting it run beside you, multiple gators on the edge of the roads.

2018-12-09Very nice facility! Very clean and well-maintained grounds. Bathrooms and plenty of parking. Trees to shade under and easy road access. Overall, I was quite impressed!

2021-12-12Walked up to the canal side and looked across to the otherside and saw a huge bull alligator, looked left and right along the canal bank and there were two more large alligators. There was one slinking quietly underwater given away by a few air bubbles ,arrow head ripples and underwater shadow as it swam towards me. Ran 20 feet back from the edge. Exotic birds were flying around and well worth the visit.

2021-03-05Sweet place to have lunch either in the sun or under shade, walk a few well maintained trails, and take a restroom break after the long one way drive of Lake Apopka Wildlife Trail. Can put your boat in too but be VERY aware of resident gators.

2020-02-12Birding was excellent here. This location is much quieter than Lake Apopka wildlife drive. Restrooms are available and very clean. Picnic tables allow for a nice place to sit, eat, and enjoy nature.

2021-07-16This is a great place to have a picnic or just get away from people for awhile. Not a lot of traffic, fishing, boat dock, small covered picnic area.. Very cool, little known place.

2019-12-01Nice little place to spend an evening but I dont recommend for kayakers I paddle less than a third of a mile and encounters 5 gators the size of my kayak they are huge kayakers be aware
