I can’t recommend Melody Hunter highly enough. It truly was a pleasure for my wife and me to work with her every step of the way in selling my elderly mother’s home at a very challenging moment of our lives. She possesses basically every quality you would want in a realtor, or any professional for that matter. She’s highly experienced, is blessed with a great deal of intuition and common sense, and is very personable, tactful and responsive in her relations with clients. There really arent enough things I can say about Melody Hunter. My husband is an active duty Marine and we had to sell my father-in-laws house, while stationed in NC. The house wasnt in the greatest condition, but Melody went above and beyond what a realtor should have to do, to help us get the house ready to sell since we couldnt be there to do what needed to be done. She helped us find contractors for repairs and a cleaning service to tidy up and she arranged for them all to go do the work. All I had to worry about was paying the invoices. She just made everything seamless and easy. Melodys knowledge and experience helped us get top dollar for the house which will help pay for my FILs care, but more importantly, she cared about our situation and helped us get things done.
We were truly blessed to have Melody as our realtor in the selling of my mothers house after her passing. She had the house listed quickly and sold in a short time after the initial listing. We closed on the house in the last few days in 2019. She was very knowledgeable about the current market conditions and the stats of the area where her house was located and through this knowledge she was able to guide us in a listing amount. Melody kept us informed through the whole process and was always available to answer questions and/or discuss our concerns. She stayed in constant contact with the buyers realtor and kept us apprised of any and all set backs on their end and advised us on the best way to handle. Having Melody in the lead made a heartbreaking situation (being that this was also my childhood home) go quickly, smoothly and seamlessly. Melody assisted us tremendously in the purchase of our condo. The roof needed repair which is the responsibility of the HOA through the property management company. 2022-02-10My family has worked with Melody for years when buying/selling houses. She is extremely knowledgeable and goes out of her way to make sure you know all the details and what to expect. She answered any questions we had and explained anything we didnt understand. We moved out of state and she made herself available to talk us through an issue with another realtor/contract. 2022-08-11Melody Hunter is a very honest, hard-working and has been in the business for over a quarter century. She took the time to figure out what our needs are. She also has ability to look at a home from the outside and in and tell you if there may be issues. More importantly she has a huge net work of roofers, HVAC, inspectors basically anything to do with the house. She can get to the bottom of it. She’s very patient and is willing to put in the time. I highly recommend her.

She sold my family home of almost 20 years which was very emotional but with her wisdom and incredible knowledge as a full time Realtor for many many years Melody helped me to find a new smaller house to begin my next chapter in life. Do you have pets? Melody will spoil them. Do you have young children, especially babies? She will spoil them as well! 2021-02-02We hired Melody after listing our home with other agents and no success. Melody sold our next door neighbors home, and we were impressed with her professionalism on that transaction. Our neighbors were also very pleased with her results. Melody presents herself in an easy going, yet very knowledgeable way. Her experience with appraisals gave her the edge on market analysis, and she actually sold our home for more than we originally thought possible. There was absolutely no pressure to list with her, and my wife and I immediately knew that she would be the one to finally get the job done. She handled the negotiations with grace and determination, and always kept us informed and at ease during the entire process, right through closing.
