Hi. we used Miranda previously on HVAC. Today, Saturday AM, our HW heater had an issue. Pedro was there Sat afternoon, temp repair and sched a new one for three days. We are very satisfied, as usual, with the Miranda team.

Pedro was here to check all of the plumbing in my home. He was extremely professional and very informative. My hot water heater should probably be replaced in the near future. My home was vacant for many years before I bought it and the heater is now 14 years old. I will take his advice as soon as I can afford it.
Just before the holidays Miranda air came out to do an insulation replacement inside of my air handler. This was a heavy maintenance tedious task. The technician David was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very hardworking. He did an excellent job carefully removing the blower and air handler replacing all The old insulation and reinstalling the air handler and blower. From the looks of it I thought it would be a two-man job, David knocked it out on his own in half a day. I was very happy with the quality of work, and I would highly recommend Miranda for any A/C maintenance or installs.
Pedro was on time, very polite and professional. He did a very thorough maintenance inspection of all plumbing throughout our house and outside as well. He answered all of our questions and provided some recommendations regarding our water heater which is currently causing some rust issues.In sum, he did an excellent job and we plan to ask to have him replace the shower head in the master bath soon and to replace our water heater in the next few months.
Had issues with my new a/c unit, heat pump not working. Chad got it fixed and runs great. Awesome! Chad worked ( with a little help from Omar) endlessly that day and now runs at the temperature I set and comes on immediately instead of waiting for the unit to kick in. Absolutely pleased with my a/c unit! Thanks Chad!!!! And Omar!!!!
Replace air conditioner the entire team the service rep who can over to evaluate the old system. He recommend that we also replace the platform that the air conditioner was sitting on which we did . He reviewed the entire plan of execution and quote.When the time arrive to do the work both cody an braheam came in for two days and did a fantastic job. They kept me informed were professional. I owned many companies in my life time and would hire all 3 of those service representatives in a nano second. They are a very good asset for your company .
Jason’s arrival was punctual, as scheduled. He was friendly and courteous and asked for me to direct him to my hot water heater, and more specifically, the corrosion concern I was having. He assessed the problem and gave me a price to do the job. He then determined the hot water heater itself was a few years out of warranty and asked if I would like to replace it. I responded yes, and he offered me 3 replacement options with 3 different prices. I chose the middle option with the associated price. He got right to it, with speed and dispatch. He knew what he needed to do and the order in which to do it; call it a sense of urgency, if you will. Y’all have a good man. He was detailed and thorough. He made the payment seem easy and completely picked-up behind himself, leaving no trace of his presence.What more could one ask. I have a few other plumbing jobs I’d like done in the future and will be asking for him to do the those jobs.
HVAC SERVICE IS GOOD...I did have an issue nearly 3 years ago with a sink installation; however, I am informed, today, that those employee(s) are no longer with the company.

Matt was quick to find the problem, and gave me a temporary fix.The problem seems to be a leak and I will away for a few days, so he suggested I make an appointment and when I return fix the problem right. When noticing that my A/C had stopped working on Friday at 5:30pm, I called Miranda, with whom I have a service contract. By 7:30pm David was there, smiling and offering reassurance, that he would figure out what had gone wrong. He quickly figured out a temporary fix to keep me cool until a final fix can be put in place next week. I call it a lifesaver on a day like today, when we had a temperature index of over 100 degrees. Thankyou to Miranda for their prompt response and to David. 👍

We have used them for many years now and they have always been extremely helpful, professional, reliable and knowledgeable.Today, Pedro Duero came to fix a leak in one of our outdoor lines. He was not only on-time, but actually a little early, which was great since we had water spraying out of our main line. Pedro assessed the problem, gave me a fair estimate, and got right to work. The sun was blazing hot on him, but I heard no complaints; in fact, he had the most pleasant and helpful attitude I have seen in a long time.You could tell he was experienced and knowledgeable, and a very hard worker.I highly recommend Miranda Plumbing and A/C, and the plumber Pedro Duero. We had a leak under the sink and called Miranda Plumbing. The scheduling person was very pleasant and helpful. She explained the service fees and said they would be waived if we needed work. Called in a panic as when I was turning my main into my house off for a small project and the main value broke in the off position. With it being the weekend I immediately thought I wouldnt get help today and be without water but one call to Miranda plumbing and I was on the list with a few hours ETA! Nicole was very understanding of my situation and took my concerns seriously. She dispatched out Pedro and he was very professional and explained to me what he would be doing. He used very good replacement parts that my builder should have used from the beginning. I used Miranda Plumbing and AC in my previous townhouse and they were excellent! Since then I have recently moved to another townhouse and I knew who I was going to call for repairs, recommendations and service contract. All of their service guys are professional, knowledgeable and go above and beyond! Chad is thorough and detailed which is why I use Miranda and will not use anyone else!
Our toilet was rocking side to side and we tried to fix it ourselves. We removed the toilet and saw the flange was broken and we were unable to remove it. Called and they were very quick to respond and Pedro was excellent. He explained it rocked because it was originally installed too high and would need to be cut out and lowered. He took pictures along the way to show what he did before sealing it up, which gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend!
I had an emergency leak and I called Miranda. First they were open, responsive and work with me to get someone out as soon as possible. They set a window but beat it by an hour. With this great service, I expected the bill to be slightly high but was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable it was. They even fixed another problem for me as well. The tech arrived at the time scheduled. He identified himself and began my full A/C maintenance inspection. Upon completion he gave me his findings which was my system was in great working condition and needed no work. My mom has a service contract. The deal with the service contract is excellent. They do maintenance on all the faucets, toilets, air conditioner, water heater - whatever you have in your house and whatever is needed, they will repair... Miranda has an emergency service and they are johnny on the spot! Toilets were overflowing and found out that the pipe outside the house was broken. They came, flushed out drains and fixed the pipe. $500! I thought that was a very generous price and Justin and Tony were very proficient, very professional and friendly. They were called at 6pm, came at 7:45 and finished at 11:30pm, still with a smile on their face!

Tim and Luis came to my house this morning for a pipe cleaning. They were courteous and efficient. They made me and my wife feel very comfortable and at ease. Not only did they do a spectacular job on my old cast-iron but ended up finding the source of an ongoing palmetto bug problem from the kitchen sink line that never got tied into the septic when the new tank was installed. We could not be happier with the job that was done. I have already recommended them to other people in the neighborhood. I’m glad I spoke with Don before making the decision on which company to use.

Justin did a thorough job diagnosing our older HVAC system, actually going up into the attic ductwork and taking photos for us to see. His price for replacement evaporator coils on our air exchanger was lower than others, and he didn’t feel we needed the duct sanitizing another firm had recommended without inspection. Recommended.
Was having my flooring done in my house and the flooring guy noticed the flange was cracked. Called Miranda to come out and replace it but they wanted $89 just to show up which we agreed to. Plumber shows Up and inspects it and says it does indeed need to be replaced, said the repair would be $313 and they waive the $89 show up fee. The part itself costs maybe $15 retail and literally took the guy maybe 5 minutes to replace but they feel they have you because otherwise you pay them $89 to do absolutely nothing. Ripoff alert, look elsewhere.Follow up to your response. The toilet was already pulled because we were doing flooring hence the reason I knew the flange was cracked. I was charged a total of $313, literally he didn’t have to pull or reset the toilet because I was already paying my flooring guys to do so. So yes, it was a complete ripoff for literally a 10 minute visit
I was very happy with his service. He wore his mask on the entire time, kept a safe distance and wore his paper shoes. He showed me the work that needed to be done and gave me an estimate before starting. Overall very satisfied.

The guys (Tony and Jason) diagnosed and fixed what turned out to be a mammoth plug in the line from the house to the septic tank --- the camera eliminates so much guesswork! We really appreciated being worked in to the schedule today, and its certainly lovely to be able to flush again.UPDATE: A couple of weeks later we got to see Miranda in action once again on this issue, due to a sixty-year-old septic system built in an untraditional way (by our own Dad!).The problem turned out to be very unusual. It was incapable of being seen by the naked eye and it was difficult to discern even with the camera. But to their credit, Paul and Guy and Tony and Jason stuck with it until theyd unraveled the mystery and made the necessary fix.Kudos, too, to the accommodating and efficient office staff, especially Laura and Nicole. They jostled the schedule to get us repaired as quickly as possible, and we were ever so grateful to get Mom back into her own home!

My upstairs unit decided to quit working of course on the hottest day! The temperature in my bedroom was 89 degrees. Miranda Plumbing sent their tech, Matthe after business hours. It was too late to get the blower motor til the next day. I was called at 8:30 in the morning and informed me Matthew would be back to me in a couple of hours. I was called again when he was on his way. My a.c. was fixed and running beautifully again.Matthew checked my downstairs unit also to be sure it was ok. Matthew is wonderful. I was serviced by Matt who was very polite, well spoken and obviously very detail oriented. In a matter of seconds he diagnosed our lack of heat as a brown wire that was not hooked up. Brahim Thomas was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to replace our a/c unit. The air handler was in a difficult place but he n his crew did it without a complaint. The technician came on the Saturday before xmas and made the correct diagnosis. Unfortunately, it was too late to do the work (for the condo), and he had to come back. He completed the work in the time frame he promised and according to the tenant, it was all highly professional. The water heater is now up to code and should be good for the next 10 plus years. Overall a very good experience.

I cannot thank Miranda Plumbing /Pipe Surgeons enough!! We purchased a new home finding during the inspection that we had huge issues with pipes being clogged. (Original iron pipes) We reached out to three companies for estimates. While Miranda was not the most inexpensive they were the most upfront with price and process to solve our issues. The Miranda difference is to actually CLEAN the pipes first to properly determine the actual condition of our pipes. As it turned out our pipes were FINE!! No sealing needed. The other companies would have automatically replaced pipes - disrupting our flooring and landscape- costing us 5 times more!!I highly recommend Miranda Plumbing!

Day one: Find LOTS of water coming from walls at 4:35. Call and get appointment with leak detector company, Pipe Surgeons Inc for 8 AM. Day two: Pipe Surgeon Paul arrives at 8 AM and finds leak coming from piping to bathroom at the slab. Discusses problem with me and together we come up with a solution that wont involve jackhammering slab. He calls his office, show boss the problem via cell phone and discusses our solution and he makes arrangements to get plumbers to my house on day three. Day three: Two plumbers from Miranda Plumbing and Pipe Surgeon leak detector arrive at 8 AM and do exactly what we discussed and more.I couldnt be happier with everyone involved in finding the leak, planning the solution, working the plan and getting water back into my house. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Let me just saw that i have been without AC for 5 days in this horrible heat. After dealing with 2 mediocre companies, Miranda came out in one hour and was able to fix in the spot. I will be using them from now on for all my AC needs! Family is so happy!

My parents live in North Palm and due to increased water bills were suspicious that they had a water leak somewhere in their foundation. We were referred to Miranda Plumbing by a neighbor and I was extremely pleased with the quality and speed of their service. My parents haven’t been in the area very long so they asked me to help handle the situation; even at a distance I was very pleased with how this issue was handled. Their staff was extremely courteous on the phone, and was quick and punctual with getting to the house and finding the leak. Instead of quoting and billing me with digging up pipes and replacing, they offered to use a pipe liner with epoxy coating; this option worked wonderfully and saved us a ton of time and money. These guys get my strongest recommendation, 5 stars!
After 10 years of being overcharged for services, the last episode and threats by the owner will commit me to never ever use the company again.Spent an entire weekend trying to have a new thermostat( Honeywell Digital) work after Jason installed the same. A/C ran for up to six hours while never, ever lowering temp by one degree. and never shutting down I spent a 24 hour period without sleep writing notes of every hour the first day, while Jason (technician) and Mike Manager) were comfortable in their homes, yet never took the time to correct the improper installation of thermostat. Why, because they were enjoying their weekend, while a customer suffered in his own home. A $640 ripoff for a thermostat that never ever worked. On Monday, I finally got service, after vigilance of demanding that they immediately remove the new ripoff thermostat, and replace it with the old pro thermostat that had been replaced. Jason and Mike offered excuse after excuse as to the thermostat, with complete stupid excuses such as insulation being removed around the make up air unit in the attic (that Miranda removed when installing the unit two years prior, and never put back). To my gasket on the garage door was not tight enough. Just such imbecilic excuses.So, I went onto Yelp and left a scathing review. The next morning a received a phone call from the actual owner of the company, who threateningly demanded I take down the review or else.This unprofessional attitude has now created a new review of Miranda.CONSUMER BEWARE!

My AC went out on the 4th of July, with family visiting!!! I had heard about Mirandas reputation, so I called them. Their service techs were booked all day, but said if I could wait they would come out after hours. I hated having them do that, but I had family visiting. We spent the day out on the water, came back and Mirandas tech arrived, obviously tired but he had a great attitude. He found the problem and was able to fix it right then with parts in the truck. He said thats why they use trucks larger than the others, faster repairs saves me money and helps them serve more people per day. Surprisingly the bill was reasonable and we still made it to see the fireworks. Thank you Miranda!
Jason from Miranda performed the yearly service on our Hvac system . Jason was very courteous, Introduced himself, professional and friendly. Did a very through inspection. ran both the air condition and heating sides of the unit. Jason even inspected the batteries in the thermostat and yes shined up our unit. Very awesome service !!!!

Miranda Plumbing and Air Conditioning responded in under 4 hours when my A/C stopped working. They diagnosed the problem and repaired my system quickly. Since I have the maintenance contract, the response fee was waived. Back up and running. Miranda is awesome.

A decent overall visit — and filtering through the minimal things that need fixing pointed out by the service guy— discovering by process of elimination—that our system is in pretty good shape. That’s of course my conclusion, not the service guy’s. Could not get any estimates on the small things needing fixing...never ran into that before. The warranty advertised in the ad turned out to not exist because it was quickly denied at the end of the visit on the pretext of a power capacitor being somewhat out of its functioning range in microfarads. But at least we found out it is a little off. we basically just wanted suggestions on maintenance and repairs going forward, not to buy a new $8,000 system on the spot. We were not able to get any estimates on fixing a cracked heater bracket or corroded tray even after asking. I might crawl up there and fix it myself.
Matt from Miranda came out for a routine maintenance call on the a/c system at our rental property. Per the tenant, Matt was “a delightful young man, very professional and forthright and in fact I called his office telling them the above!”I also spoke with Matt over the phone about his visit and concur with that assessment.

Same day service, air was cooling again less than 5 hours after I called. They offered a maintenance plan, but no hard pressure sales tactics. Great communication: they sent a picture and an eta when the service techs arrival was eminent.
Very timely work, even though it was not an emergency. Pedro is highly competent, and provided quotes for some improvement projects. They are quite expensive, though.
Service was ok. Technician spent little less than and hour repairing the ac and charged me $650. Extremely pricey. $90 for a air filter. Had two items replaced on unit. Both parts cost about $20 and was charge $200 and some change for one and $300 and some change for another. I feel as though they may have charge me in excess. Maintenance on the unit has been kept up. Company is reliable and on time just spikes price up to no pimit
My mothers home in Florida has had continually worsening sewage drainage problems. I had two different plumbing companies say that the only solution was to rip up the foundation to get down to the original pipes, which were deteriorating. Mom saw an ad for Pipe Surgeons and I called. Don Miranda was extremely helpful and gave me hope that we didnt have to be so drastic. He did a cleaning of the old pipes and then relined them with an epoxy rather than ripping everything out. My mother was thrilled about that, and I am too. Don called every evening (I live in California) to tell me about the progress. It took three days and the price was much less that ripping out the foundation. I could not be happier.
Miranda was name on the unit that had serviced my a/c unit from the prior owner of the house. When the a/c was not working one day I called for service and was pleasantly surprised by how quick and professionally Miranda got it working. Jason explained everything to me and within a short time got my house cool again.
Great company and they gave my church the best deal in town for an AC replacement. Mike Miranda actually went into the attic and neasured our ducts and did calculations to demonstrate how the air would flow evenly with the new system and how long before we could expect to have the entire church cooled down. Out of 5 other AC companies, none of them have that level of service with their estimate for replacement. Now THATS an All Star company!

Repairman fully explained problem and kept me updated as he worked. Work area was cleaned and straighten up before he left. Routine maintenance plan keeps on top of things and small repairs under warranty have seldom been used due to good care.
Steve and James very professional folks and Steve certainly knows his trade very well. The mechanical high tech equipment was very impressive they found and fixed my leak using the poly pipe method and I would recommend them to anyone needing a pipe or drain line repair.

17 May 19Our ac crapped out, thanks Miranda for sending Matthew Murphy to our rescue. Very polite and a pleasure to talk with. Explained everything that was wrong with the ac and had it repaired within a few minutes. We need more people like Matthew in the world.
Technician arrived as scheduled to install new a/c replacement system, followed by an additional technician 1 1/2 hrs later & 3rd technician. I had to leave before they were finished & left instructions to close up house. Chad called me as they were leaving to let me know house was closed up & checking to make sure dogs were with me as they were not in house or responding when called

Well I called Miranda, dying of heat all day and not wanting to pay for expensive AC repairs, but only after a 3rd person recommended Miranda AC & Plumbing. They fit me in the same day, and checked my entire system. It turned out to be just a dirty evaporator coil causing it to ice over. The cost to clean it was reasonable, and they deducted the diagnosis service call charge from the repair bill! They explained that until it was cleaned it would tend to easily freeze over, so it was worth getting it professionally cleaned.They also gave me tips to prevent this from happening, like always keep an air filter installed so the moisture on the coil doesnt collect dust and build up with ice. Even if the filter is dirty its better to have it in then run without one. They said the cheaper filters and the cleanable ones that dont stop the small particles actually work better as they get dirty because less dirt can then get through. Good to know! Dont keep the AC really low so moisture doesnt freeze but drips from the coils like its suppose to. Dont leave doors and windows open when the AC is running, so the humidity in the house air stays drier, making it less humid, more comfortable, and less moisture to build up on the coil. And they suggested a programmable thermostat to save money by raising the AC temp a few degrees while we sleep or for when were at work.Thanks Nate and Hiram! And thanks Miranda.
I heard a loud noise coming from my outside a/c unit and went to check it out. I notice the fan in the unit was not turning. I called Miranda A/C and they had a technician there in 20 minutes. After arriving Chris found the problem and had it fixed in about 30 minutes from the time he arrived. Chris was professional and polite. It pays to be a club member.
Rob and Bill came to fix my master bedroom toilet that was making loud noises. Bill said that the insides of the toilet needed to be replaced. Then he looked at the toilet in my guest bathroom and said the toilet there needed the same. They presented me with a price to do the work which was excessive to say the least. While Rob was working up the price for the work Bill was up selling. He told me I really needed new toilets that were $1,000 a piece and a new bladder for my hot water tank. Too expensive and too much up selling for me. I won’t call y’all again nor will I recommend your company to anyone!

Jason did a good job. Found the clog in the line at the handler, cleared it and he even found an extra line that hadn’t been connected properly so he connected it and now I have a failsafe for clogs in the line. It was cooling down in minutes once he drained the line and it was a really hot day. The handler is in the even hotter attic. Poor Jason!

These people are outright crooks. They came out to do a general maintenance that my elderly parents have done once a year. The tech Jason came and said a couple things would eventually need replaced but all was in good working order. Not even 2 hours later the coil freezed up and freon leaked out somehow. Jason came back and put freon in the system. Next day same result. The unit worked fine before they touched it. This was just a routine maintenance. Then this woman has the audacity to accuse my paraplegic father of doing something to it. This company is trash and doesnt stand behind their work. Then wants to charge to fix their screw ups. Never and I mean never use these p.o.s.s. Looking into legal action also.
At 4:45 on a Friday afternoon I broke the main water line to my home removing a dead plant. Water was gushing everywhere. I had no idea how to stop the water. Pedro came an saved the day. I am so appreciative and can now enjoy my weekend.

2022-03-03I called and was able to get an appointment to review and quote the work within a day and services complete soon after. I used them for installing air and water lines for dental practice and they did a great job. Very professional and detailed.After first service they also changed out an old value under our sink and reconnected to a machine with up heated options.The technician Dennis is awesome ! Very friendly & professional. Laurie in the office is amazing and very responsive and helpful!Highly recommend.

2022-06-07I was very satisfied with Miranda Pluming. They responded right away. The technicians that showed up were very professional and friendly. They cleaned up after installing the hot water heater. It is great that they also do electrical work. I needed to have the circuit breaker for the water heater replaced also. I didn’t have to call a separate electrician to do that work, because Miranda was able to do it.I would highly recommended Miranda to others.

2022-07-16There were some drain issues at my moms house. I coordinated the work from another state. The technicians were always timely, courteous, and professional. After the initial job was completed, there was a problem with the washer drain. Mr. Miranda arranged for his technicians to come back out and fixed the problem immediately. 2022-03-02Pedro was my technician & I will not be able to fit all of the POSITIVE thoughts on my family’s experience in this review. He was on time, professional, patient and informative with me regarding repairs and the new water heater. He cleaned up after his work, and very patient with my youngest child who has no concept of personal space. Everything is working very well. I am 100% satisfied with my experience and plan to refer others who need plumbing/AC work to this company. Bonus: Pedro had everything he needed to complete all of the needs of this visit.
