As a renter, when I have service requests such as a repair, the protocol is to submit the service request to the Mynd Property Management team via the Mynd Resident portal. I recently submitted a request regarding a bathroom plumbing issue. Mary Jo Galvez , on the Mynd team, responded to my request in a very timely manner and got things rolling to address the issue. In addition, her follow-up and communication were greatly appreciated --very pleasant but also professional. She conveyed her interest in wanting to help resolve the plumbing issue.
During what would have been a very frustrating experience while waiting several weeks for a new dishwasher to be repaired at a high end rental unit, an angel from Mynd named Mary Jo Galvez came to the rescue. Mary Jo did a truly awesome job of communication with me and General Electric to ensure the dishwasher parts were ordered, delivered, and technician visits were scheduled. The best part of working with Mary Jo was her consistent positive and kind demeanor along with regular communication. I really appreciated her diligence and kindness. Previous contact with other individuals at Mynd was often frustrating with confusing messages. With Mary Jo all communications were clearly and timely delivered. She should be celebrated as the “poster child” for customer service!
As a renter, when first moving into the property and a few issues came about. My service requests were handled swiftly and resolved just as quickly. The agent assigned to my case Juan Escobedo was quite professional and stayed in constant contact to insure that my repairs were being taken care of and were to my satisfaction.

All staff and portfolio manager Dijana have been excellent! Very responsive, highly knowledgeable, and extremely professional. After the first few weeks of vacancy during a presumably slow rental season, were now in the process of initiating a lease...highly recommend Mynd and portfolio manager Dijana!
This is our 3rd property management company experience. They respond immediately, setting us up with good companies, so far. Willie Perez was our latest customer service guy from Mynd. He had a roofer out in no time flat and followed up to make sure the fellow showed up and the work was done. What more could one want?
I had the pleasure of working with Mary Joy Galvez, she was wonderful. I called in due to a water leak and runny toilets. She stayed on top of the issue called, text and emailed everyday to check the status. It took over two weeks to get everything together but she was their every step of way mind you it was doing the holidays but she made sure it was handle. I’m very grateful for her. Thank you again Mary Joy.

We had some trouble uploading our files and thiugh we are still in the process, I am very happy with all of the associates I have spoken with. They seem to all be working as a team and each of them have been pleasant and helpful. I look forward to hearing some good news soon!
Mary Joy Galvez from the Tampa office worked tirelessly to help me with my maintenance issues. She has the patience of Buddha and the work ethic of 10 men. Her responsiveness is quick and she surely adds accolades to the MYND company. I truly appreciate the professionalism from she and Juan (whom assume is from the California office). I was snappy with him but he did not match my rudeness and explained that he understood my frustrations. He worked tirelessly as well. I can’t thank them enough. Awesome team!
Calling the Mynd hotline has been an awesome experience has been wonderful, particularly Chad. He has been incredibly responsive and helpful in matters that extended my understanding on how to improve handling their work order process . One of the best and most helpful experiences I’ve received.
My experience with Willie perez at mynd management was very pleasant. He assisted me with an issue on my gas furnace. The first vendor had to cancel last minute so Willie had to work double time to line another one up in the same day which Im sure was not an easy task. But he pulled through and got our heat working again. Thanks for your quick response to the issue.
Juan Escobedo did a great job helping us get through some repairs for our unit. We had a few problems we needed taken care of and he quickly sourced a vendor for us that did a great job fixing everything. Juan also does a great job following up after the vendor to make sure everything was done correctly and to stay in the loop if something is amiss. Top notch service.
I recently had a leak in my house where I left a service request through the Mynd website. There were some rough spots with the vendors and their communication, but the Mynd representative I was working with, Willie Perez, made the process so much smoother. Willlie was very responsive and adamant about getting our situation handled.
I am a newer tenant to MYND but the company quickly won us over with their communication and the way they do things. The company is a property management company but us essentially a tech start up that helps real estate investors make a return on their investments. I think this is a really innovative way of marketing and managing real estate and I can see why home owners use the company.As a resident however I have been thrilled with the service I have received from a number of individuals. I had a service request after moving in and had the pleasure of being helped by Mary Joy Galvez. Mary Joy was tremendous in helping me get my issue resolved quickly and her customer service skills are fantastic. She even took the time to follow up on the issue numerous times and to check that it was resolved and we were satisfied.MYND is fortunate to have such a bright and caring employee like Mary. I have rented from many companies in the past. So far this one has been the worst. Although I love the home we are renting when issues arise they are snarky with responses and reschedule multiple times until finally resolving the issue. The plumbing had been a definite problem where we are. The latest work order Ive submitted resulted in being sent a YouTube video about how to fix a toilet. It went as far as showing how to use an auger. I was extremely disappointed in that response and informed them that if I wanted to fix my own toilet that I would be owning my own home. They claimed all their plumbers were busy with appointments and thats why they sent that response. I would have rather been informed of that then made to feel incompetent. I am not a plumber, nor do I plan on becoming one anytime soon.I will say the issues have impacted the flow of my family/homeschool life. Im fortunate that I dont have a working schedule to compete with vendor schedules or nothing would get repaired. They are very responsive with emails and texts. The vendors are kind. They just need to work on their wording and scheduling process.
Good morning,Thank you for sending D BEST ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING Company to my residence. They arrived at the time specified, they updated what needed to be done, installed a new Hot Water heater and gave me instructions on making sure air was out of the pipes. They cleaned up everything, they were quite pleasant and very efficient. Thank you Juan Escobedo for recommending them for this job and I would ask for them again if I needed any repairs of this type.Thank you, Juan Escobedo.
I am very pleased with the maintenance department of Mynd management. Recently I’ve been getting quick responses and ACTUAL results for the issues in my apartmeny that needed fixing. I was having issues with my laundry room doors falling on me. I reached out to Mynd and let them know someone tried to fix it long ago and the issue still wasn’t fixed. I let them know that I’ll rather not have the doors and I removed the doors from the unit. Mark Cabaluna reached out to me and let me know that I did not have to go without the doors and that they could be replaced. They sent out someone to look at it and within the next week I have new doors on. I am very pleased with the suggestion from the Mark Cabaluna because the unit looks way better without the washer and dryer being exposed for I am having guest over for Thanksgiving !
I have had nothing but great experiences with Mynd Management. All of the representatives are nothing short of fantastic. Mark Cabaluna especially has been soooo helpful. He is very professional and his response time is immaculate. Other companies need people like this on their payroll. Thanks Mark 😊😊😊

Power outage happened today at the property and I could not be more thankful for the quick response of Karl Comin and his team. He immediately informed me of the power outage information from smud and that they will monitor the condition. As soon as the power came back after 2 hours he made a follow up of the condition at my apartment. Very professional and concern is quite genuine. 👌
We relocated from Colorado to Sarasota Florida last year. We rented a really nice villa through Mynd. It was a great private, secured location. We never had any problems and if we had to reach out to them they would respond right away. Bryan Waters was excellent, he helped us with the entire move in and move out process. He was extremely helpful, polite and professional. We now purchased a home in the area but if ever we needed the services again we would use them in a heartbeat.
The entire Mynd Team is pleasant. Weve been tenants for about 1 year & every request, inquiry & issue has been handled timely, professionally & fair.We especially appreciate Bryan W. & Fatima. Weve worked with Bryan the entire time & hes always been straight forward & fair.Fatimas email correspondence is exceptional. Shes understanding & quick with answers. Dale helped my family w move-in logistics and the National MYND team took great care of addressing concerns prior to move in.Was a corporate relocation and MYND liasoned with my companies relo specialist to do the walk through and inspection prior to the date of move-in.So far, so pleased with MYND and MYND Tampa.
I spoke with Dan today about a few questions I had about seeing the place. He was completely respectable, understanding, and patient! This is and was real customer service! It’s nice to know there are real gems out there such as Dan who are as helpful and patient as he was today with my many questions and anxiousness.
I want to thank Dulce for the help she provided. I made an appointment to view a property but I made it for the wrong day and was leaving town the next day. Dulce helped me do that I was able to change the appointment and get in to view property since I was already there. Patient snd great customer service. Went out of her way to make sure I was able to stay on track. Thank you.
Whats comical is that all of you corporate companies have the audacity to have all of these requirements--i.e. 3 times the income, a certain credit score rating, and blemish free background rental qualifications..Yet you all always have mounds and mounds of complaints about the properties that you rent. This company has a rating of 1.34 out of 5 on the BBB website, and you all have the nerve to be discriminative?Im starting to think that you corporate companies have these huge requirements because you want to be sure that your tenants are in great financial positions to mess them over...Words of advice to all of you home owners out there who are seeking out these corporate companies to rent your property:Rent your own properties, people actually prefer private landlords over these corporate companies, and last but not least, the majority of them are only getting your money and messing you over, they dont care about you nor the tenants, and theyre getting the majority of their funds via application fees, not actually trying to rent your properties
Ive been contemplating writing a negative review about this management company/landlord as we are very new to our lease. At this time, I am personally disappointed that I had to take this step to write a negative review. This review is specifically around the first week in the property and how our concerns have been handled.Upon signing this lease, we were given two weeks to move into the property or lose it, so we made it happen. It would not be much to expect that the landlord would complete the task they need to do well within the timeframe. But this was not the case. Weve brought several concerns to the attention of the landlord but have received zero resolution. The ones I would like to bring to light are lawn care and pest control concerns.When reviewing the property, one of the stands out parts was the overall property. The lawn looked excellent and well kept. One of the main questions I asked was who handled this, and the landlord/management said it was included.Day one, pulling up to the house, they did not take the step to welcome us to property in the best state. It is a MESS. The garden hasnt been weeded in months; the lawn has not been cut in at least a month as well. You would figure it would be best to welcome new tenants with the property looking amazing. With that, we reach out right away and have been for the last week, and no one has been out here to solve this simple issue. It is not essential to them becuase we have already signed.On day two on the property, we started to see roaches, ants, and other things I dont know the name. We had to sign a bug addendum when signing the lease, meaning we cant leave bugs here. This is 100% understood, but you should not walk into a situation with bugs when receiving a property. We are five days into our lease, and we are being told it is our responsibility to get pest control. If this was a month or two into the lease, I could understand, but we asked for it on day two, and nope. As I am typing this, I am watching ants walk across the floor.To sum up, dont trust to move into any properties until you make sure the lawn services are up to standards and also request a bug spraying no matter what before accepting to move in. There are additional concerns, but I will wait.Update - our neighbors came over to cut the grass because it’s so bad - smh
Placed a request for maintenance in my home spoke with Ms.Mary Joy Galvez she addressed my issues immediately.It took just a matter of one for her to find a vender and have the at my home least than a days time.Thank you for your prompt attention to my issues during a holiday weekend and also finding a great vender Blue Chip maintenance service tech Mr.William Kimes came out took pictures and evaluated the situation and completed the work very quickly and safety.He was very professional and polite.Thank you Ms.Mary Joy Galvez for everything we really appreciate you and Happy New Year.
I left a 5 star review last year, but am changing it after our most recent experience. We moved out almost 2 months ago and have inquired several times about our security deposit. I have been told over and over that it’s on its way to us. Today we were told Mynd is no longer responsible and to go through the landlord. We have never gone through the landlord. We paid our rent and deposit to mynd, so why do we need to find out where our landlord is and go through him? We have called Mynd over a dozen times and every person says we will call you back and hangs up. We did everything on our end. It’s completely unacceptable and we aren’t going to stop until we get our money back.
I’ve been waiting for my security deposit from these people for over a month now. It’s over 1k and every time I call I can never get in contact with anyone oneIt’s literally been 5 days and I’ve still heard nothing from you crooks I want my $1500. I regret ever signing a lease with you guys. Why does nobody ever answer the phone
I’ve never left a review, but I feel that it is absolutely necessary because how horrible my time was with MYND. I live in Colorado and bought a property in Tampa. I needed to rent it out, stress free. It’s been two months now since I’ve closed on my property and they still haven’t even listed it to rent. I can’t get ahold of anyone because I guess they’re closed on the weekends and an entire week for the holidays. All they have done so far is take money from me and done nothing. I highly recommend going somewhere else. You could honestly would be better off doing it yourself even from out of state because all they do is call people to come fix or clean your house and it seems like they call the most expensive people in town to do it. They don’t look for good deals.
After having a very bad property manager who stole money from me I had done a google search and came up with three companies, Bryan had contacted me first thing in the morning and we talked about my property . All the questions I asked him I really liked his answers so,I told him I will get back to him by the end of the day. After one other property manager getting back to me my choice was very clear and Bryan was my new property manager. We went over my property and he made a lot of suggestions that I listened to and followed all of his recommendation. I am very lucky to find Bryan because he cares about my property and if there is a problem it’s taken care of. His professionalism showed when you talk to him. As I said to him in a email I wish I would of found him years ago. Thank you Bryan for all of your hard work!
We just had Bryan Waters rent out one of our units. Bryan did a great job communicating with us on all prospects and showings. He did all the legwork in screening and qualifying them to rent from us. Bryan is an amazing property manager and I would recommend him to anyone in the Tampa area for all of their rental needs. He did everything from listing my house, to giving showings, to vetting tenants and finding a perfect tenants for my property. I started renting my house through him when I was local but now he manages my property while I am halfway across the country for work, and the entire process is still seamless! He takes the stress out of renting a property and I don’t have to worry about my property at all while I’m far away. 10/10 use Bryan Waters with RentVest Tampa.
I moved into a house with many issues and they won’t help me resolve them. They want me to pay for damages then give them an invoice. I haven’t even been here one month and I want to move out. Very unprofessional company. There’s enough going on in the world, this was just cherry on top.
My family and I are so grateful to RentVest for helping us get into a home so fast. After moving cross country our original plans fell through. Bryan went out of his way to get us into exactly the house that met our needs. On the rare occasion that we need help or have a question we never have to wait more than a few minutes for a reply. If you need to find a house or you need a company to manage your rental then Rentvest is the best option.
I currently have Bryan managing my rental property and have been very pleased with his services. He responds in a timely manner and have been able to disconnect myself from rental property related business. I highly recommend Bryan for your rental property management needs.

I had a water leak at the home that this company manages. I called them about the water bill and have had no response. I will start legal matters if need be. The water leak was caused when they came to inspect the home. They are now just dodging any communication. Very poor management!!
Bryan has been doing a fantastic job finding new tenants for our rental properties in St Pete. He takes care of all the legwork of showing the property and screening the potential tenants. Always keeping very open communication of the process. We no longer rent a property unless Bryan has qualified the tenant.

2022-05-12Mynd has managed my property for 6 months now and they placed a tenant that has only paid rent for 1 month and I have already had to file for eviction. I have no clue what is going on in the process and they promise to provide weekly updates which I have to remind the PM to provide to me. Her excuse is that nothing has changed since last update. It has been over a month since the eviction paper work has been filed on my end. I still do not know if the tenant is even there. Not to mention I am now working with my 3rd PM in 6 months.For anyone looking for a PM Company, you may want to keep looking. The way they are structured you pay the PM fee rather or not you collect rent. which means if you need to evict someone they really have no motivation to push the eviction along. Also, being that I am working with my 3rd PM in 6 months make me believe they are having a lot of turnover and do not have a lot of experienced PMs

2022-01-25Our heater went out tonight and called on and spoke with Jade. She was extremely helpful and even though it was after hours was able to get a technician out to my unit within the hour. He was able to fix it. Jade checked on me the entire time to make sure he had shown up and that everything went well. Mynd management is great to deal with and very professional. Thanks again Jade.

2022-02-09I had an issue with my electricity, my refrigerator stopped working. Karl Comin was excellent. I let me know my situation, and he quickly got an electrician at my house in less than two hours. They came over and fix my issue in my food not spoil. Brilliant service from Mynd Property Management. A+

2021-12-12The company has always been in fast response when ever we have an issue. They get the problem fixed and always follow up to make sure were happy with the job done;) They never treat you like your just a random tenet. There friendliness will always make you feel welcome and valued customer! Its sunday and Karl still checked up on us today to make sure everything is still perfect;)

2022-05-11My house has smelled like sewage and is full of drain flies and the best part is that this is going onOver a month. I believe they don’t don’t even care about my family’s health!!! I’m beyond sad. I never been through anything like this in my life. I have to work and then clean up dead (or alive) flies and try to stomach my food everyday now. Unbelievable.And when I reach out, I’m on hold for more than 20Min with no results. What can I do? How do I resolve this for my family because they aren’t helping and I’m screaming out for help at this point. I never been late on rent so why treat a tenant like this?!? Jesus help us!

THIS COMPANY ALLOWED ME TO STAY IN A HOME I JUST GOT KEYS FOR AFTER PAYING ALMOST $4,000 TO MOVE IN WITH A BROKEN AC I WAS LIVING WITH 2 CHILDREN IN A 100 DEGREES HOUSE IN FLORIDA HEAT. AFTER ALMOST 30 PHONE CALLS AND PLENTY OF EMAILS 3 WEEKS LATER, 3 WEEKS SOMEONE ATTEMPTED TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE!!! ALL THEY DO IS GIVE THE RUN AROUND. DISGUSTING. NOW THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME A $75 LATE FEE OF RENT BECAUSE I COULD NOT PAY ON TIME CONSIDERING I HAD TO COME OUT OF MY POCKET FOR A HOTEL STAY FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN SINCE WE COULD NOT STAY IN A HOME WITH NO AC. I HAVE NOT EVEN LIVED IN THIS HOME FOR A MONTH AND I HAVE 4 WORK ORDERS PENDING!!!!!
