My husband and I got stuck with this company as the one we signed a lease with sold it to them. I’ve dealt with a number of leasing companies and this one was by far the worst!!!! I had brought to their attention a number of issues we had that still were not addressed from our move in but the only one they fixed was one they could charge us for. Then when we moved out they deducted those same issues from our deposit. Lousy way to do business! I’m going to tell anyone I can to stay away from this company. Unprofessional and down right shady!
I retract my below intial statement about this company after moving out. They took over a $1000 dollars from my security deposit for maintenance that needed to be done like mowing the yard (I was out of state the entire month before moving out and had to leave asap. Sorry I couldnt cut the one grass patch that actually grows...) They also took money for repairs such as a loose door handle, a roller that fell out of the garage door track. These are all things that I could have called maintenance for and made them pay for before moving so it just doesnt make sense at all. I guess just expect to lose your security deposit. Typical Florida mentality.Overall experience was great. We had less than two weeks to find a new place to live and did not want to settle for anything but what and where we wanted. Our agent was Kendrick. Kendrick worked well past normal working hours to show properties and find a home that was right for us. Even when we showed how discouraged we were with the first couple properties we viewed Kendricks attitude did not change. He made it his responsibility to find the right property. Once we found the perfect house and location the process was rather smooth and efficient. Most paperwork was done via email with up to date precesses and just like that we were moving in within days. I see other reviews complaining about unsuccessful maintenance calls but I do not agree that has been a major issue. We live in a right here right now day and age and sometimes it takes a little time to get things done. I havent had an issue understanding why they couldnt make it out within a few days but thats my perspective. National real estate has been great and I couldnt be happier
I will never rent from this place again, & would never recommend them to anyone. Every time I had an issue at the house & would call & leave a message, I would never get a call back. When I would finally call in & find out what was going on they apparently never got my messages. Happened more then 3 times. They misplaced a check, having me to pay rent 2x in one month. At the end they wanted to charge me for damages the house had already came with. I disputed the charges, it took them more then a month to even respond, and the only reason they responded was because I called more then 4x, until I spoke to an actual person since they never received any of my many messages. Then to tell me, oh yes you wrote those damages on your move in sheet gee thanks. Very unprofessional, irresponsible.
I wish I could give less than 1 star. My whole rental experience was a complete nightmare. Every time I called for something to be fixed I was told that it was not approved and will not be fixed. Also when my AC broke down they kept rescheduling my appointment. I was without AC for 2 weeks in the hot Florida summer. My rent was never late so I dont understand why everything was such an issue. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! I wouldnt recommend them to anyone because they are very dishonest. Also when I moved out they charged me for things that were on my initial walk through paper!!! How can you charge someone for damages that were there before they moved in; damages that they neglected to fix and would not fix when I asked them about it. Lesson learned.

Kendrick was so willing to help, and immediately sent me the listings in my range. I have rented through NRE for almost 4 years. They are great to deal with, fair, address concerns very quickly and are professional. Angeline in the maintenance department is amazing. She always tries to address any issue within one business day, if she does not have the answer she will find it and follow up quickly.I highly recommend them.
I am so glad we are out of that house, rental agreement, and out of contact with national real estate. Very horrible experience from the get go. Started off with renting the property no walk through with the landlord or rental agent. Was told to take pictures and send it in of Damages and inconvenience notice. During the rental process there were problems with the property that seems to be prior such as clogged pipes bad septic tank and drain field. That was not handled in a timely fashion or with any courtesy or respect towards us the tenants. Also when paying rental fees, we would pay extra. Only to find out but the extra money that we were put towards rent acquired to almost $400 was taken and said was towards repairs and service that was needed for the calls when we call them to have a problem fixed such as clogged pipes septic backup and other inconveniences.Also when you call the office there is never anyone there to answer. You will stay on hold for hours if you choose not to hang up. And if you are so lucky to get through the receptionist is very rude and is constantly in meetings therefore she cannot answer the phone. So unfortunately we rented the property for three years, basically because your initial rental the agreement cannot be shorter than 2 years. The third year was trying to get all of our ducks in a row to make a purchase of our very own house. Upon departure trying to contact them to notify them that we were leaving the property. Was unable to speak with anybody realtor, landlord. Finally after repeated calls and about 45 minutes of that automated girl on the call system telling you that the receptionist is on the other line if you would like to hold please do so or press 8 to leave a message. By the way other messages that were left that day or Prior had no return phone call. I got through by calling as a owner with the option to press a number.The reception answered and I told her I was not the owner but a tenant and Ive been trying to call and left multiple messages for the last couple of days I was then told by her we are in meetings daily. I asked for advice on how to notify our landlord or realtor that we were going to leave the premises I was instructed by her to sign on to your account where you make payments and theres a tab for notification to vacate the premises. We Vacated the premises before the actual date we were given on the same note the house was clean but there was trash left outside the premises because the date we left was not a trash pick-up day and the area that we were living in just notified us that there was no more call in for big trash pickup. To return the keys again left messages and then signed in and left a message online that there were no instructions to return the keys. A few days later we received a call and were told to mail the keys 2 their office. Now being out of the property for almost 2 months been contacting them to see what the outcome of the final walkthrough was. Only to find a few days ago a letter in the mail stating that there were damages totaling $1,500 or a little more. When reading the letter at close examination this company were complaining about light bulbs missing, and normal wear and tear to bathroom cabinet and kitchen cabinets, also was complaining about damage to Roofs edges due to Hurricane in September of 2017 where a tree fell on the roof. Also to be noted the trash mention that was left in front of the house was removed on trash pick-up day following our vacating from property. Also to put in that there was damage to the property upon arrival of renting the property there were no light bulbs in some of the fixtures and upon vacating the premises were two packs of light bulbs left at the property. So we were told that there was no final walk-through and come to find out there was somebody sent out to take pictures of outside of the property where the trash was left. (2days later than set at the edge of Road to to be picked up on trash day ).The Facts
My guy KENDRICK was very helpful to me and my family while searching for a place and he made it happen for me in a short period of time. He didnt make me wait 3-4 weeks for my background check and approval to come through like other realtors. By far the best experience I had renting a place I will never use anyone else to rent or purchase.Thanks

The abdolabs WORSE Administration administrator in the landlord service I have EVER had the cusre to deal with!!You pay $39.99 for each and every service.Sure the place looks okay upon move in but my hand damn near goes through the wall when you touch it , the tile I was promised when I seen the house was NEBER put in and so I live on the concrete the house was built on not a ln actual floor - and the worse was the pluming - when we installed our washer and dryer the lease was already signed and it was too late!!We have been stuck in a home whoms pipes are ALWAYS leaking and for each and every call I pay $39.99 (yes I agreed to pay it ) FOR A HOUSE THAT LOOK TO BE FUNCTIONALI was told everything was redone and all systems (electric,pluming, AC ) were recently upgraded...after installing our appliances we were almost electrocuted because they needed a ground wire installed... The pipe to the washer spit out rusty water and was busted as soon as rinse cycle started ...the water caused a puddle and the dryer (unknowingly at the time) lacked a ground wire so when .I went to clean the water I was zap and my son got it bad trying to unplug dryer...also caused me habhav to replace my dryerNow I have an on going issues with mice in which they wont credicrediy rent if I buy supply it exterminator and their so called exterminator came in an average white pickup truck opened up a box of some cubed pest bait and threw them all over the house but literally was throwing them behind the fridge nothing professional sealed nothing and never came back out!!! I was charged 39.99!!When the plumbers put holes in the wall that was one work order cuz they were trying to reach some pipe come to find out they didnt need the holes in the wall because the plumbers werent too bright... they also cracked the walls cuz the walls are really thin the holes are still in the walls its been 3 months Ive complained endlessly... To get them to fix To...you guessed it I HABE TO PAY ANOTHER 39.99!!!STAY AWAY LOOKS ARE DECEIVING THIS COMPANY IS ALL ABOUT MONEY THERE SLUM LORDS AS WELL
One-They never answer their phones.Two-They. Charge. For. Everything.Three-They switch the online payment function to where you can only pay by echeck instead of practical, conventional one time payments.Four-Nickle and diming people and taking a bite out of the real estate world bigger than they can handle is a major upset to many tenants as prior reviews have expressed. This isnt Los Angeles. Paying nearly 1200 a month for a 600 rental because of the extra fees.Five and lastly-Dont. Just dont get anything through NRE. Save yourself the headache and hardship.My place is literally an efficiency and Im being charged so damn much in fees that it is affecting every other aspect of my finances and dues.
First and foremost I would definitely like to think Samantha, she is awesome with what she do and I dont care what anybody says, if you have a problem with national real estate than you should think again. Ive been renting for 3yrs and thus far it hasnt been half bad. They just mean business thats it.

I bought a rental property in FL a year ago this month from Giovanni Fernandez, Owner of National Real Estate, at an Armando Montelongo educational seminar in San Antonio, TX. I bought this property sight unseen, on faith, knowing only that I trusted Giovanni, as well as his knowledge and experience with cash flow property investments. NRE has also been my property management company,and the COO for the property management is Elise Sabatino. I have had nothing but positive dealings and communications since. The property management company uses a secure website and the latest IT technologies to make my long distance landlord duties minimal. I love that Elises staff took care of finding me renters, collecting rents, performing timely maintenance as required, and keeping me electronically in the loop. I did not know the quality of all aspects of their service until my business partner and I went to FL earlier this month. They arranged a walk-through with the tenants (Great tenants, who are taking wonderful care of their home and renewed their lease while we were there!) Then we met with Elise for the first time in almost a year. My partner and I were treated like royalty as two of their investors. The quality of the actual flip of the home we bought sight unseen was breath-taking! Anyone who says anything negative about NRE has not met the staff or has not attempted to discuss problems with Elise. She is a sharp and gracious business woman. We will purchase more sight-unseen properties in the future as NRE helps us reach our long-term financial goals.

Put a application for one of propertys and never got a respond or a call saying weather I got approved or not a waste of my money of application fee.Nobody said nothin or even called and said I see u put in a application mica baptista bad business an makes you guys company look like you guys just out to get money for application fees an not giving people a called to let them know they got approved or if its other people looking at the house as well
I RENTED A HOUSE FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING NEEDED TO BE DONE FOR THE HOUSE INCLUDING GETTING RID OF RATS (THAT WAS NEVER ACCOMPLISHED). MY FAMILY AND I WERE DEALING WITH THAT MESS RIGHT UP UNTIL WE WERE PREPARING TO MOVE OUT. I WROTE THEM ABOUT THE DAMAGES THE RODENTS DID TO SENTIMENTAL PROPERTY THAT I COULD NOT PLACE A RENTERS INSURANCE CLAIM FOR AND THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! NOW THAT I HAVE VACATED THE PROPERTY (WITH PROPER NOTICE) THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR A LIGHT BULB??!! NOT ENOUGH THAT THEY CHARGED A RIDICULOUS $250 CLEANING FEE AND $50 RE-KEY FEE OUT OF MY INITIAL $1100 DEPOSIT THAT THEYRE LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL WAYS TO TAKE MORE $$ FROM ME :-( SEEING SOME THESE COMMENTS, FEEL I AM IN FOR A BATTLE WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE FOR EXISTING DAMAGE. 2022-06-04As someone who lives on the street of one of the houses this company manages, I would never use them, especially for home owners looking for a property management company or even as a tenant. They dont maintain the house at all and dont seem to care who lives in the house, whether on the lease or not, as long as they get the rent.Current tenants have trash strewn everywhere, old furniture rotting in the back yard, grass is at least a foot long, and new people were moving in and out constantly. The curtains are always closed, and occupants come and go in the middle of the night. This company doesnt want to hear about any of this, promises an inspection of the property, and then does not follow through. This home is owned by NRE and may reflect how they view their tenants and the neighborhoods their rentals are located in. Having their rental in your neighborhood is not a good thing.

2022-06-27Was with this company for 5 years always took care of the home inside and out last minute they wanna sell and moved out june 1 house is very old everything that needed to be done I did it unless I couldn’t I called them sent pics of how I had the home no issues then now that I want my security deposit painting the inside was a problem there’s always a way for them to scheme and keep your money when your the one who made the property beautiful. There nice until it’s time to give you your money

2021-12-02I be been with this company for over 3 years and their the best. They are very nice and respectful they are timely with maintenance. Great housing to live in their very spacious. The staff is amazing I never wanna leave this company. I had to move during the pandemic due to the selling of one of the properties they made my move very smooth and safe for me and my children.

2021-10-20I went to make an offer on a house listed at $255k and offered $265k with multiple offers on the table. Monday after the weekend I noticed that the house was then reposted on the market at $270k and they never contacted me to let me know they received my offer or reject it. Nothing. Worst display of professionalism and super shady. Dont trust this company

2021-01-08Worst experience I ever had with a real estate. Rented a place that was breaking into... didn’t want to fix it but quick to move someone in. Lied saying owner want to sell the house.... didn’t let me know until I called about the renewal. After moved out... took them after 30 days to send me my documentation & money. Realized charge me for the damage they supposed been fix before a tenant move in. Thank God I have a video before & after. Everyone in the office is very unprofessional smh treat you like you owed them something.... I will never refer them to anyone. If you not Caucasian, don’t even waste your time...

2019-01-29I went to many other real estate companies to seek help to find a single family house and those other companies did not work with me and were very unprofessional. I was on a very short time limit and I needed to move out soon. When I found National Real Estate it was more than a blessing. Marilyn and Kendrick were very professional and extremely helpful and they helped me get the single family house in a blink of an eye. They both made this transition very smoothly. I love the tenant portal and is a very helpful source to pay the monthly rent, request a work order, see a copy of your lease and many more resources on the tenant portal. Samantha is also very professional and very helpful. I see myself renting from National Real Estate for a very long time. Customer service is excellent and when I put in for a request for a work order within less than a day is fixed and taken care of. I highly recommend National Real Estate for your renting needs. Awesome real estate company and staff.Current review update: Its 2019 and I am still renting from National Real Estate and I want to say that I am still very pleased at the rental property. Customer service is very outstanding A+++. Great communication with all staff members. The tenant portal is very easy and friendly to use and work orders can be placed thru the tenant portal as well. I have to say again that I have had the best experience renting with National Real Estate. The best rental company ever!!!!!

2020-08-18This company was the sellers listing agent for the home I purchased. All I have to say is when purchasing a property from them, showing the seller is an investor or the house is a flip, make sure you verify that all permits are pulled on any renovations they did to the home for sale. If not, they will wash their hands and guess what happens..? Your home insurance for a home you think is brand new, will drop you because the seller never pulled permits and now you have to get all the permits pulled and construction inspected and pay all of the fees on something that should have been done from the very beginning! On Zillow they listed everything is brand new!! Guess what? It is, but the counties dont know about it. When you call them about it, they will say sale is complete and the broker and seller have nothing to do with it anymore. This should be considered as false advertising because nothing is completed per the county! Not only that, I still had issues with the home that they were supposed to fix, and never did. This broker will never get you what you want without lying to you about it!

2019-11-11This company NEVER answers or returns your calls. I rented from them for TWO years. After continuous nightmare situations from a neighbor breaking into my home and stalking me, the Sheriffs Department and Police Department strongly recommend for me to relocate for safety reasons. I left one month prior to the end of my lease on my second year, gave a full 30 day notice and did everything that was asked. They told me I could pay a prorated amount since I moved out on the 15th of that last month but I still paid for the full 30 days. Now they send me a letter stating that I lost my entire deposit and also sent me trumped up charges asking for another $400! I responded with a certified letter providing proof of the discrepancies yet I still haven’t heard back! (I am still patiently waiting.)I had ongoing maintenance issues the entire time I lived there along with horrible black mold from a plumbing issue that the prior tenants dealt with as well! This plumbing issue was never properly fixed. Do not rent from this company!

2020-05-21If you see a property listing managed by this company, run the other way. The house may be priced low for rent but theyre going to try and steal your money with every fee possible and forget about your full deposit being returned. Trust me, you get what you pay for and I dont recommend this company to an enemy. Cheapest quality maintenance work and minimal upkeep, without extra fees. Which are illegal. Its worth your time to keep looking for something else.
