Everyone was so nice from the front desk, all the nurses, the PAs and doctor OGrady. Everyone was concerned and understanding about my pain. I highly recommend this office to relieve your pain.

Check-in was quick and easy. My appointment was a little bit later than scheduled but they are quite thorough so I understand. I met with Chris Key on a knee issue. I ended up needing a steroid shot. We discussed at length all of my future treatment options. The doctors at Florida Bone and Joint/Andrews will always be my first choice.
My first appointment I had no idea I would be required to fill out paperwork, etc. It took 45 minutes. I was told that’s a one time thing!! Thank heavens office staff was courteous and helpful!!Got in my 3:00 appointment at 3:45. Everything after paperwork was 5 star!!! Chris Key was very pleasant and knowledgeable. So happy I choose Dr. O’Grady’s office!!
PA C Key I cannot thank him enough he listen with understanding, very compassionate, immediately looked at my X-Rays and administered a Steroid injection and today Thursday I feel good thank you…I would also like to thank all the staff from the time I was checked and all of the doctors staff and Melanie for their kindness, enthusiasm, super courteous with positive attitudes and smiles. Chris Key is excellent with patient care. He acted like I was his only patient of the day giving me all of his attention to my medical issue. I didnt feel rushed with my visit and had all of my questions answered. I will visit again if needed. Andrews Institute is an awesome place for all of your medical needs.

I have been seen by PA Chris Key and Dr Chris O’Grady, as well as have had my left shoulder operated upon..The visits have been on-time and VERY efficient: if xrays are needed, I was sent for them in a hallway around the corner and they were available immediately; after the exam, if an inflammation-reducing shot was advised it was immediately administered. Followups occur in a few weeks to judge whether further treatments were advisable, from injections to surgery. PA Key, “Chris”, quickly and informatively diagnosed my shoulder problem, noted the possibility of a multi-stage treatment, And recommended the least invasive to start with. After an auto accident, the other shoulder was damaged, and eventually required surgery. The surgery was same-day, also quick and efficient, with a high tech sling and icing machine provided. Physical therapy is begun 2 days post surgery. A new regenerative repair is available that reduces healing time by 30%. The other, the helper, non-operated shoulder became very painful, and a shot was quickly administered to eliminate the pain.Amazingly efficient and effective. Multiple visits aren’t necessary for each step, as would have been the case with military medicine. The pain is greatly reduced, not 24 hours later!Thanks, Chris!

Great job from check in all the way through surgery. Week of post op was fine (nerve block pump). Follow up from Dr. office the whole time. Two weeks out now and not much pain at all. Therapy can be a little tough. Now going through the long healing process. I recommend them 100 percent to anybody.
O’Grady is AMAZING! We never felt rushed and he was so great about taking his time to explain everything so my daughter would understand. He talked to her and answered all of her questions.

Extremely thoro with our sons knee problem and insured us that he and Dr OGrady would be going over all the details and getting back with us by the afternoon. They have made my husbands shoulders normal and we are grateful for them.
I havent met Dr. OGrady yet, however, PA Chris Key was a very good screener for my discussion on a reversal shoulder replacement. Everyone in the office was kind and considerate and kept everything going at a efficient pace. I trusted Chris immediately and that is what I really needed. I will be back after the heat wave goes away for my meeting with Dr. OGrady.

Do yourself a favor and make an appointment today!The staff are all friendly and helpful, It’s always a pleasure seeing the Dr here.!!Chris Key is a Gem.!Like Dr O’Grady his bedside manner is compassionate and patient.I’m 50 and I had thyroid cancer, and the radioactive iodine treatment caused AVN and basically the weight bearing joints lose blood supply and die.I’ve had 2 hips replaced then 2 revisions 10 years later . 1 shoulder replacement 7 years ago and more recently days before Hurricane Sally hit I had a rotator cuff repaired by a different surgeon on my right shoulder and I was literally discharged the morning Sally hit .It became infected with Mersa and went septic and I nearly died.Again nothing to do with Anyone at Andrews or Baptist Hospital .I lost nearly every part of my shoulder but I was alive.Then the Drs at Baptist referred me toAndrews Institute, Dr O’Grady Orthopedic and Florida Bone and Joint clinic.These are the best orthopedic Surgical teams I’ve had and I’ve had a few. From New Orleans, Houston Baton Rouge hereThey cleaned up another Surgeons mess and gave me my life back.
Chris was great as were the rest of the staff. The only complaint I have is why pre-register when I have to fill in the same info when I arrive, including scanning in ID cards? Seems like a waste of time.

A positive experience in every conceivable way. Fortunate to have had zero pain from the day of my shoulder replacement and returned to full and normal function in a remarkably short time. Doctor OGrady and his most able team have been courteous, friendly and professional throughout and I could not have asked for better treatment all round. This past Tuesday was my last visit to Doctor OGrady and the X-rays I understood showed an excellent end result in every important way.
I cannot say enough good things about this office and Chris Key. I had a not-so-good experience at the previous office the ER had referred me to and was left scared & unsure of what was happening with my shoulder. I took it on myself to find someone else and found Dr. O’Grady & Chris Key. Chris Key is a o reassuring, knowledgeable and takes the time to tell you what’s happening where you know what to expect and are comfortable with it. I trust reviews and always read them before deciding so I wanted to give feedback in case anyone else is having trouble finding a doctor they trust. Please don’t hesitate, call them.
My first visit was with the PA. Very professional and listened carefully. Received shot in my left knee which helped greatly. Saw Dr. O’Grady 2nd visit. Very professional and listened carefully. PA put shot in knee and this time it didn’t help at all. I understand that the shot doesn’t always help. I would recommend this group highly to anyone.
Good luck getting anybody in the scheduling department to answer the phone. I have been trying for about two weeks after they called me to set up an appointment. No matter what time of day you call it goes straight to voicemail
I cannot give high enough praise for Dr. O’Grady’s office, his Physician Assistant Chris Key, and the scheduler Valerie, as well as the rest of the amazing staff! (so sorry I don’t have everyone’s name)I was in pain, called, and was seen the next day! Who does that?! I’m aware that might not be possible every time but I am beyond grateful! Chris Key is so kind and very skilled in joint injections. I left with a plan in place, a knee sleeve (an amazing thing!) and a follow up appointment scheduled.I would give 10 stars if that were an option!

Dr. OGrady and his entire staff are the best. He explains things in detail but at a level that can be understood by anyone.Before I made my decision to have surgery I went into one of my appointment with an entire sheet of paper with questions I had. Dr. OGrady took the extra time to answer every single question on that paper plus the other ones that came up as he was explaining things. I recently had a partial shoulder replacement and my shoulder already feels better than it did before surgery and I have not even started PT yet. Dr. OGrady is calm and very confident and when he is talking with you that confidence makes you feel very comfortable. Chris Key, Dr. OGradys PA is very competent and personable and extremely knowledgeable. He too takes the time to answer all questions. He will tell straight out what you need to know, which to me is what I like and need. I would go back to Dr. OGrady for any type of orthopedic issue I had. I have already recommended him and The Andrews Institute to a few people and will continue to do so. Dr. OGrady has given me my normal life back. I am forever grateful.
Dr O’Grady is an excellent highly experienced and skilled surgeon. I value his focus and interest in research- always looking to improve the care of his patients. And his staff are kind, helpful and readily accessible for questions and concerns. My new shoulder is doing great thanks to Dr O’Grady and his team.
I had a full shoulder replacement this past July. I interviewed three surgeons before choosing Dr OGrady. They were all good but Im glad I chose him. The staff was great! His P.A. Chris was very knowledgeable and personable and Dr OGrady was very personable which is hard to find in a great surgeon. He also projected confidence which was very assuring to me. I have be very fortunate to have attained almost 100% of my range of motion and feel I owe that not only to him but to my PTs at the YMCA Andrews branch in downtown Pensacola.

This was my first visit with Dr. O’Grady and I had a very good experience. The receptionist was very polite and helpful, I saw Dr. O’Grady at my scheduled appointment time which doesn’t happen very often with doctors. He explained my shoulder issues and provided me with options, surgery would fix it permanently but right now doesn’t work for me so I scheduled a follow up in October for surgery in January or February. He gave me an injection which didn’t hurt, I was very surprised and pleased, after a couple of days my shoulder felt a better and I had greater range of motion without the associated pain that I was use to. I highly recommended Dr. O’Grady.
Dr. OGrady and his entire team are amazing! He and his Chris spent a great deal of time with me at each appointment discussing my injuring and my options. They explained everything related to my surgery in great detail and answered all my questions. Post-op, Dr. OGrady took the time to thoroughly assess my progress to make sure I was recovering well. They were quick to get me into my appointment on time. Customer care was great. My physician told me my condition did not require me to have surgery or even therapy. Easily he could have said the opposite just to be able to bill more from my insurance company and I would not have known the difference. From my first visit to attending physical therapy, my care at O’Grady Orthopedics has been phenomenal! Dr. O’Grady did a tremendous job on my shoulder and took the time to go over what was done, what needed to be done, and what to expect. Awesome staff met my needs immediately. Through many visits to Dr. OGrady, as well as other physicians at Andrews Institute, Ive been impressed by the efficiency of the process (X-rays, next appointment, etc.), the professional approach to all aspects of the medical information/diagnosis provided and the thorough nature of the follow-up recommendations. While Id rather not have the need to go to Dr. OGrady, Im glad to have him in my corner when situations arise.

My experience with Dr. Christopher OGrady and all of his staff was the greatest. Dr. OGradys bedside manner coupled with his ability to keep up with latest technology in total knee replacement is a winning combination. I can not stress enough how impressed I am with Dr OGrady and his staff and what professionals they all are. I am a list maker for Dr appointments , never once did his PA or Dr. OGrady everMake me feel like there was a time limit on our visit or that any of my questions were insignificant . Cant tell you how much that means to a patient that has had such a major surgery, thank you so much! I received rock star treatment from start to finish, my end result is that I will be back on the tennis courts, better than ever and I have Dr. Christopher OGrady to thank for that!

This was the one year follow-up on my reverse total shoulder replacement. The young woman who performed this evaluation was extremely courteous, professional, and thorough.I appreciate everything Dr, OGrady and his team have done to restore the functional use of my left shoulder to me. As the photo attests, Im able to kayak fish again without pain or discomfort.
Chose Dr OGrady for a second opinion on reverse shoulder surgery. He looked at my records, came into the exam room, and reassured us that this surgery was the best course of action for me. I have been one of Dr. OGradys patients since 2009 when he performed a total shoulder replacement of the left shoulder. He performed a second surgery in 2015, this one a total replacement of the right shoulder. Both surgeries were so well done and effective that there was minimum pain and maximum utility of the arms and shoulders. Follow-up consultations have been completely satisfactory. He is approachable, personable and completely through in discussions. I recommend Dr. OGrady with utmost enthusiasm.
Dr. O’Gradys team was polite and helpful. They were sympathetic and made time to see me the day I called and said I was having shoulder pain. I spoke with Dr Key, and was extremely comfortable and confident in his care. I am already feeling much better and could not be more thankful for the professional care I received from this team.
I appreciate the care I received at Grady Orthopedics. Dr. OGrady performed the surgery for my knee replacement and recently did a meniscus repair on my previously good knee. The after care was excellent. I was given extra time for physical therapy and then gel shots to help my mobility. Dr. OGradys PA, Chris is also very competent, caring and thorough. They always take the time to listen and to be helpful. The only way I could be happier is if my body would quit falling apart!
Dr O’Grady did an amazing job on my shoulder. He has a great bedside manner. His office called several days after my surgery to check on me. I have never had a doctors office call and check to make sure I was comfortable and ok. Thank you Dr O’Grady.

From my very first meeting with Dr O’Grady I was impressed with his experience and bed side manor. I spent 9 months unable to barely use my right arm. Two surgeries later i had full use. Any one looking ( just saying) .. Andrews Institute is the place you should look into.
From start to finish it was excellent. I am so grateful for Dr. OGrady and the entire staff at Andrews Institute. The shoulder surgery was done so well and I now have complete use of my shoulder with no pain. I have and will recommend Andrews Institute and particularly Dr. OGrady to anyone and everyone.
Dr. OGrady, his staff, the WHOLE Andrews Medical complex are absolutely AWESOME. My overall post op, surgery and recovery was excellent. Dr. O’Grady has treated both my knees and never really suggested surgery until he had exhausted injections and physical therapy. He did total knee replacement 2 years ago, and the knee is great. I plan on having the other one done this fall. Chris is great and the rest of his staff! I love Andrews Institute!

I was able to schedule an appointment within one week. I arrived early, had x rays and completed my visit before my original appointment time.
In August, Dr. O’Grady performed a six hour surgery on my left knee after a fall in an outdoor inflatable. I had completely destroyed my ACL, MCL, PCL, lateral meniscus, and medial meniscus. Initially, my first interaction with his staff demonstrated their great concern for my health. Then, within days, Dr. O’Grady met with me face-to-face and scheduled my surgery as soon as I was healthy enough to proceed. Both before and after the procedure, the impressive level of his surgical expertise and high degree of personal care was exceptional. In truth, I often say, “Dr. O’Grady gave me my life back!” There are no words to describe my gratitude to this amazing doctor!
By Gary Vincent.....Doing extreme sports and 48 years in Martial Arts, I have a habit of busting myself up. Each time, Dr OGrady puts my pieces back together. My knee came back stronger and my shoulder is stronger than ever....and Im 71. He treats everyone with special care and like a friend. Im super critical of doctors. So to give this kind of review is exceptional.
I have., unfortunately, had several health issues over the past few years and many that required Orthopaedic attention... Prior to and after Andrews opening in Gulf Breeze,, I have had various types of surgery in the Pensacola area at an average of more than one+ surgery per year... Bar none, the service that I received at Andrews and from Dr.OGrady was excellent.. . I started with DR. OGrady when he was serving with the US Navy and followed his practice to Andrews when he started there at its beginning in Gulf Breeze...He and his staff are some of the best that have taken care of me. And that is saying a lot because I have generally received and still receive excellent care at other facilities for non related ORTHO issues... I am scheduled for a knee replacement in January and my preperation appointments, are and have again , been excellent. A testament to Dr. OGradys service, qualifications and reputation is well noted by the number of Professional, College, High School, and the general public personnel that he serves ..His pro bono service is also an accolade to his services and charachter...
Dr. OGrady did a great job helping us determine what my 17 year old son needed to do about a small shoulder tear. He is friendly, easy to talk to, and is a reputable doctor who we trusted with our sons care.
This time around Dr. O’Grady did a great job. He did an MRI and identified the knee problem. I had surgery and my knee is significantly better; however the pain does return when i over walk or exercise. He is an excellent surgeon.
Was well received and taken care of by Dr. OGrady and staff - no differently than Im sure from the plethora of athletes photos lining the walls. That extends to the FL Bone & Joint Specialists and Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine as well. First class operation. Grateful for their work through the pandemic!

I highly recommend OGrady Orthopaedics. I had rotator cuff surgery and removal of a bone spur in February and was expecting to have a lot of pain. I had no pain at all. Everyone was very professional and very helpful. Great doctor, staff and facility! I am able to do almost everything I want to do and it has been only 5 months.
The staff has always been helpful and always try to get you seen as close to your appointment time as possible. Dr. OGrady and Chris both explain what is happening to your body very thoroughly but always take the time to answer any further questions you may have (not acting rushed as I have felt in some other doctors offices).

Recently revisited Dr OGrady for a recheck as I am experiencing some lower back pain. Recheck was normal and he suggested seeing Dr Chandler. Dr OGrady had replaced my left hip years ago. I was able to walk the same afternoon after surgery and physical therapy was great too! Highly recommend!

I met with the PA who was very knowledgeable, friendly and listened to my concerns. He clearly explained my shoulder problem and discussed what to do next. I was encouraged with his assessment and satisfied with the plan going forward. I was told that I needed a reverse shoulder replacement which has been very painful and has limited my arm movement. My only disappointment was I have to wait 3 months for surgery

Had knee replacement surgery in 2009 by Dr. OGrady and had NO problems. I walk 3.5 miles daily and would highly recommend The Andrews Institute for any joint problems. They are known for working on pro athletes from all over the country so that is the place I wanted to go and my knee is as good as new.
As a patient with multiple labrum tear repairs and subsequent issues, I came to Dr. OGradys practice looking for results. He has a very cooperative and open approach to addressing my chronic pain from arthritis and lack of range of motion. With physical rehabilitation feedback, MRI, and x-ray analysis, and interim procedures (debridement), Dr. OGrady provided me the necessary information for ME to make the decision to have a total shoulder replacement at the young age of 48 years.The pre-planning was extremely thorough; I always felt confident that the end results would be an improvement. The procedure was extensive and Dr. OGrady ensured that my total replacement would provide me total range of motion before finishing the procedure by cleaning all scar tissue. He was completely dedicated to providing me the best starting point for rehabilitation with my total shoulder replacement. And the recovery was quick and relatively pain-free, compared to my labrum repairs. In conjunction with the anesthesiologists at Andrews, I was able to control the pain and not take any narcotics - simply amazing.While Dr. OGradys talents gave me the best starting point for success with my total shoulder replacement, he and his team made it very clear that my success would be the result of my commitment to rehabilitation. Three months following the procedure, I was 90% pain free, and six months later, I am pain free and have the range of motion that I had 30 years ago. I know this is not the case for many TSRs, but patience and commitment are the key for the recovery; it takes time.When faced with what I consider to be a life-changing decision of a total shoulder replacement at a young age, I made the choice because I wanted to be pain-free and I wanted quality time to spend with my children. And to ensure that I was on the path to healing, I chose Dr. OGrady with this important surgical procedure. The communication, attention to details, and caring instilled confidence in me to choose Dr. OGrady over other highly qualified surgeons.Please let me also commend the staff at OGrady Orthopaedics. Chris Key, his PA, is the voice of reason and offered great advice with regards to electing to have a TSR performed and for the recovery process. I am one week post shoulder surgery due to complications I sustained from a fall in 2002. The injuries to my right arm and shoulder initially were serious; and unfortunately, three surgeries later didntcorrect the injury enough to allow for physical therapists to give me the skills to improve. Our move to Pensacola has been a blessing in many ways, but by far my referral to Andrews Institute and meeting with Dr. Kindle who graciously referred me on to Dr. OGrady. I am in a sling designed for total support of my shoulder and this is a journey. But I must say that the pain is much less than I anticipated with the medication given and I am following the letter of the law with the discharge instructions.Thank you, Dr. OGrady, and staff.
Get ready for an overload of superlatives. OGrady Orthopaedics helped change a traumatic event—serious car accident which totaled two cars—into an encouraging experience. I felt very welcome, never felt any of my questions or concerns were frivolous, felt my outcomes would be positive and enjoyed the sincere good will & humor of all staff who assisted me.
Can’t beat the professionalism. Really makes a patient feel better even with some physical discomfort. I have an appointment in 6 weeks but Dr. Key said feel free to cancel if I didn’t need to come, BUT he really wanted to see me if the discomfort persisted. As I sad, you can’t beat the professionalism.

Facing the proposition of a shoulder replacement at 38 is a scary one. The care shown by Dr OGrady and his staff at The Andrews Institute to my case was second to none. Im still recovering, but Im looking forward to being able to enjoy life with my wife and kids to the fullest.
I strongly encourage you to use Dr. Chris OGrady if you have any shoulder problems. He did surgery on my right shoulder in May of 2014 and to be a little creative, as he said, to fix my problem, but he did and I had a full recovery with no problems. He did surgery on my left shoulder in April of 2017 and I am currently in post-op physical therapy and expect another full recovery.
Doctor O’Grady his pa Chris and all the staff are terrific. My new shoulder works great and never had a minute of trouble during or after my surgery.
I thoroughly liked my followup appt this time.Chris Keys helped me better understand my Shoulder and arm problems and options I can choose to do.However. your Kiosk can be a pain. All the LONG agreement notes we must choose from is very tiny letters on part of them. I know i heard several fussing about them. Can be very hard to unde.rstand trying to get done in a timely manner. Especially when patientls are crowding me from behind. There is no way to stand 4 ft apart when kiosks are One feet away.
Excellent team would recommend this team to anyone needing knee replacement. Dr. OGradys did my knee and both of my husbands knees. 5 star rating.

Dr. O’Grady did a total replacement shoulder surgery on me in early October 2018. It is now in late May and I am back to playing golf and surf fishing. The surgery met Or exceeded all expectations.

Dr. OGrady went over the limited options I had with the condition of my shoulder. He answered our questions and we proceeded with the stem cell shot option. Its been only three weeks since the injection so its difficult to know how well it is working although the pain continues it doesnt seem as intense and some range of motion has improved.4/2/19 My first month follow up and I am having less pain with improved range of motion. We will begin rehab with arm exercises to build muscle. Will return in 4-6 weeks.

Every one there is awesome the only problem I have is the phone system . I can never call and talk to a person I always have to leave a VM sometimes a few for a couple of days before I get a call back. I would like a callback either same day or next AM and then when I do get one and return the call again I always get VM so I end up playing phone tag until I am lucky enough to be able to answer the call when it comes in and this frustrates me
The only negative is the wait to see the doctor or PA I was in there to get a shot and had to wait for over 30 minutes before I was called in for a 2 minute procedure
Follow up appointment for shoulder pain and had several questions which the doctor addressed and explained to me. Very patient with me.
Didnt know if I would need more surgery on my right shoulder - turned out that a steroid shot resolved the problem and I have had very little pain since. Thank you so much for giving me that treatment...you folks are the best!!
Dr OGrady rebuilt my shoulder in November was worried about recovering from surgery was my Biggest fear happy to say I have full range of motion and gaining strength back day by day would recommend his services to anyone that has shoulder issues absolutely wonderful staff and team I waited nearly 22 years to have this done should have done it years ago thank you again Dr OGrady and staff

Botched my mothers rotator cuff surgery in 2016 and never did anything to rectify the issue other than pumping her with pain meds. Update - Its 2019 ...still nothing done.

2022-02-09Ive been experiencing shoulder pain that has gotten progressively worse over the last 1 1/2 years. My physician referred me to Dr. OGrady and his PA, Chris Key. I received a call the next day from Dr. OGradys office scheduling me for an appointment with Chris. The Staff was not only fast and efficient but extremely friendly and pleasant as well as very professional. Chris was great! He was very professional and knowledgeable about my problem. He was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to and seemed very empathetic to my problem. It was really good to have someone actually take the time to talk to me and listened. He gained my trust immediately!

I work with Healthcare providers every day in my job and he was by far one of the most responsive and caring providers Ive come across in a long time. 2022-07-20I saw Dr. O’Grady based on the recommendation of a former patient who had problems similar to mine, which have been treated elsewhere almost two years ago. Dr. O’Grady and his staff were courteous, cordial, caring and efficient. Dr. O’Grady spent adequate time to address the pain and weakness from an old rotator cuff tear using treatment that had heretofore not been offered, a corticosteroid injection, as well as additional physical therapy. From the time I encountered the lady at the front door who gave me a new mask when she saw me digging in my purse for mine, I was made to feel welcome. Benjamin from near Macon, Georgia, was kind and professional in completing my X-Rays. Dr. O’Grady’s P.A., who injected my shoulder, was not only nice to me, but caused me minimal discomfort . I had a completely positive experience!

2022-03-24The wait was minimal, 15 minutes or so, everyone was very professional, friendly and courteous. Chris Keys did an excellent job explaining his diagnosis while going over my X-rays and was very thorough explaining my options for my torn rotator cuff. I know I have a long road to go, but the start was comforting and instilled confidence with such professionals. Thank you guys.

2022-04-13This was the best procedure I have ever had. I cannot put into words how to describe this experience from initial discussions, to surgery to after care. Each and everyone that I came in contact with was both courteous and professional always.
