This place has CHANGED!!! Today I went to see The Batman. A bunch of middle schoolers sat behind us. Some shared seats and even sat on the floor so you can easily assume some or none paid for a ticket. In fact the theatre doesnt even check who has tickets so anyone can just come in....not sure how long this has been happening but this wasnt the case just a couple of years ago. Anyway, these kids made so much noise that I saw three people including my wife tell the management. They NEVER came. Then the AC was not working enough to keep the movie auditorium cool. I got so annoyed, I got my money back. There were 45 minutes left to the movie, I was enjoying the movie, but I couldnt take it no more. The management just did not care. And to no surprise, everyone in that theater appeared to look like college (at best) and high school aged kids. Not a single real looking adult appeared to be employed.
The service was horrible, the workers were having a legit argument in front of everyone backing up the line. The carpet smelled disgusting! The chairs are falling apart and smelled horrible. This movie theater has honestly declined a lot it’s so sad. I came to regal because AMC and Cinemark has gotten very horrible and honestly I came to regal thinking it was better and I completely wrong. It’s 10 times worse !
I went to to Westfield movies. Terrible experiences at the concession stand. Everything I asked for Chicken Tenders, Pretzel Bites, Hotdogs, Corn dogs and pizza they didn’t have. I was expecting to have one if these items for lunch. Thank god they had popcorn which I had for lunch. I wonder why on Tuesdays they have specials. I was going to join the movie club, but now forget it. I will go to the theatre a few blocks away for better results
REGAL DISAPPOINTMENT, we waited very long to comeback... After tonight Im not sure I wan to.This place is in very bad shape. My seat wouldnt recline and the floor was dirty and sticky, NOT reallywhere I want to spend 2hrs. I spoke to the manager and he refunded my purchase.
I used to be a regal fan but i feel like everything is overpriced over there. i feel like there aren’t enough deals compared to other theaters i’ve been to. the food and atmosphere is mid. the place where it’s located is nice cause you can always go to the dollar store rq or eat somewhere bf/after. other than that it’s just your average local movie theater.
I love regal i used to be a huge fan and only watch movies at this place but lately after covid this theater has been far from what it used to be. Staff are slow, virtually no food on sundays and and the lack of management is very visible. I m hoping i could change this review in the future as i hate to see my favorite theater go down hill
Feel bad for the cinema industry. When they got hit with pandemic the streaming vultures jumped in and took away business and still do. Miss the personnel involved and now its down to a handful of misfits that have the personality of a rock. Starting to go back more but paradise lost. Regal needs to reinvent themselves so the counter help can spend their time getting their GEDs.
Took my family for the first time to this regal in West pines. My daughters love the movie experience, loved the fact I was able to preselect my seats when purchasing my tickets. Be early to your screenings as the wait for popcorn can be a bit. Other then that great experience for my family would come again Soon.
Rating this place 1 for multiple reasons.1. Waited almost 15 minutes just to be told what theater I was in. There was 4 staff members 3 of which were all serving one family. Not the best use of staff when you have multiple people waiting.2. Theater 4 stunk! It smelled like damped carpet I wonder if there was a leak because there was a blower outside the room.3. The theater did not have proper air circulation. It felt as if their HVAC wasnt working properly. The air smelled musty. If your HVAC isnt working please let me know I can get you a few good men.4. The leather seats were sooooooo worn out I left with some of it on my arm. I was confused as to what I had on my arms and shirt and it was part of their seats coming undone.I dont think Ill be coming here again. Ill stick to AMC next time.
Anybody thinking of going to Regal cinema movie 13, there are a few things that you need to know first. Don’t expect clean seats, these seats have not been kept up and they are now torn and gross. I’ve found popcorn, unknown sticky ness, and even a toe nail. It’s seemingly under staffed to concession stands and the staffing to clean. On a personal note, I don’t know what was worse the lack up keep or the lack of Blue raspberry iCE’s.
This theatre has been our favorite for a very long time but honestly it’s gotten terrible. The recliners are broken and you take home half the fabric stuck to your clothes. Disgusting!!! The bathrooms always smell like old urine and the customer service is bad. So sad to see what has become of this place. Some change is desperately needed
Update: People keep talking about the seats but take a look at the state of them when you can see em. The sad part is the staff is aware and super cool about it but according to them Corp is not giving them any new ones. Honestly..as a card holder for this theater I think its time to go to the 2 local AMCs where I saw Uncharted and Spiderman recently and they were MUCH cleaner.
Nice clean theater with comfortable seating. A little on the pricy side. Tickets and concession are over priced. You do reserve seating here but the theaters are relatively small. They only have one concession stand open booooo. So u have to go all the eay back up front to get a snack if you are in the back theaters. Also there is not much of a food selection but they do serve beer and wine. Way overpriced so u may want to stop at the multiple restraunts in the plaza first. They only have 2 workers at ticketing so the lines get long at night. It is an okay theater but there are much better in the area.
Movie theater was very nice, clean and great atmosphere. The most interesting thing about this theater they have recliner chairs where you can actually lay back and enjoy the movie. On top of that security is on top of everything and I appreciate that from a standpoint of feeling safe at the movie theater.
I have been enjoying this movie theater for many years! It has 13 theater rooms and they show all new movies. I love the renovations. Chairs are so comfortable and you can lay back almost completely. People are always friendly. Great popcorn and a variety of snacks. Great location!
UPDATE (03/12/2017) After my first review (and several months later) things have really changed for the better. Five stars seems appropriate now that management has improve several aspects. Concession is clean, a single line system is far more efficient than multiple lines at cashiers, staff is friendlier and theaters are clean every time. Still the BEST popcorn and seating, congratulations! This used to be a good theatre but lately they are falling behind. Concession dirty, slow and unhelpful staff, dirty theaters even before beginning of the movie. Popcorn and seating great.
Had not been to Regal in a long time. Not sure when I will be back. The seats are in bad need of repair or replacement. They are extremely short-staffed. There was no one to even take my e-ticket. I could’ve walked in without paying. The tickets were being sold at the concession stand and the lines were long. No security watching the two entrances to the lobbies leading to the theaters so what was preventing people from skipping the concession line and walking in? No staff waiting to come in at the conclusion of the movie to clean so not sure when that is being done. Used to be my go-to neighborhood theater but now willing to drive a few extra minutes to Cinemark or AMC for better quality experience. Sad to see this theater has gone down so much.
It was good went to see lion king, got in quickly and went through the concession stand pretty fast.the only thing I was not to keen about was that the chair i was sitting in wasnt clean had popcorn Butter smeared on the part you rest your legs on.besides that always a great experience.
Went there today, realized the theater isnt even open. They told nobody about this change and have not communicated anything with any customers. We were very excited to go watch movies, especially some very good ones coming out this weekend, just to be disappointed by the theater being closed without warning and nobody there to explain why or for how long. Not sure if it is pandemic related, but if it is then this is the failure of the general manager that runs this place for not communicating with the client about the closure. In the end, the general manager should either communicate with signage or an online posting when they plan to close like this. Their fault for horrible communication that led us to not be able to attend the movies today, not sure how long they will remain like this but I do not plan on sticking around to find out. It is very telling how horribly run this place is because they cannot even communicate with us about their planned closures or for how long they will be, I cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like to talk to this general manager, very disappointed with them.
Excited to be back at the movies, but very upset that the recliner seats (at least in this auditorium) don’t work. Not as comfortable as I’m used to. Also, the volume stopped working (after going to investigate we learned that it won’t work for previews just the movie) and glasses weren’t handed out for our 3D movie. Popcorn tastes funny. I think next time I’ll find something a little closer to home. Came here because the ratings were so good.
This is the last time I come to this theater. The last 3 times I have walked into the theater there are rolled up used napkins inside the cup holders. Left over popcorn bags on the seat and even drinks. Clearly the theaters are not being cleaned and sanitized as per guidelines. Management needs to look into this and correct the problem.
My husband just spoke with manager Daniel today 8/13/21 at 7:45pm. The customer experience overall was horrible due to the fact that we needed to buy our tickets at the concession stand. We were only the 3rd in line and literally waited 20 minutes for tickets. And the counter person was very nice named Daisha. Even she was embarrassed that the printer wasn’t working to print up tickets. My family has been coming here for years and this was the worst experience. The manager himself was upstairs and we waited at least another 5 minutes for him to come down. He should be on the floor managing! I will happily take my business elsewhere.
Wow. This place has gone down hill fast. What a shame. Some of the seats don’t work. They’re not clean. And the fabric is severely wasted. Hence the pics I posted. What a joke. My daughter’s coke lacked ice and lacked carbonation. They should pay me for my ruined shirt. Don’t think I’ll be going back again until that place is overhauled. Sad.
Came to the place asked this sweet old man to call for help and the manager come and instead of seeing to us which would only take 2 or 3 minutes, he took that time pacing back and forth repeating the same thing to the old man to make sure of something, the man kept telling him to assist us but he wanna say out loud I dont have time for thisThe place wasnt even packed only 5-7 people roaming. :)Being busy is one but being lazy is also one.
This place have no ac . The theater was extremely dirty had get popcorn and cups / food off our seats . The movie never even started and the staff didn’t seem to really care . I’m incredibly shocked that cleaning strands aren’t higher with covid and cold / flu season as well . The popcorn was stale and over salted to cover staleness . The were out of Pepsi zero sugar which was disappointing but I settled Diet Pepsi . The pop extremely flat and zero carbonation at all . I wouldn’t Recommend this place to anyone . I normally go Cinemark and will keep going back there as they have very high strands for cleaning , food is fresh and drinks are always kept up .
Nice theater and they sell beer and wine as well. Seats recline and the sound was very good. Only mild complaint was the prices of the refreshments but I guess thats all theaters these days and the reason I only go to movies 1-2x per year. 70.00 for a family of three to see a movie on a Sunday with popcorn and snacks. The pizza was not good at all. My son would not finish it.
With cinemas just reopening i decided to try this out, mask and sanitizer of course. Leatherlike recliners are reasonably nice, not IPIC nice but not IPIC prices either. The booking was a little confusing online as to make sure i was going to have empty seats besides us, but turned out well. I dont think its Regals policy to leave the seats in front or behind you empty, so going to a theater with recliners which have much more space between them front and back is important. Did have 2 issues however, firstly the sound on the screen was not great, the effects were much louder than the voice which some times got drowned out, and they need to drop the temperature a few degrees as your wearing a mask on your face for 2 hours can get a bit uncomfortable in regular room temperature.EDIT: Returned this week for another movie, sound kept cutting out, could barely make out what was being said. People in the theater reported several times, but nothing happened. Lost a star.
Nice clean theater! Seats are very comfortable and I love the fact that they recline and have enough space so your not constantly getting kicked ...and ( since I have kids who have attendancy to kick every so often by accident.). Courteous staff. The concession can have a long wait line but dont most theaters do? Just come alil early and you will be fine. I feel the prices are pretty reasonable especially compared to other places ..
That is an awesome experience that everybody should try. The recliners are huge plenty of space between recliners. The food is at the normal price of every other theater. The ability to buy your seats in advance is awesome. Because you can actually reserve the exact seats you want. The location is in shopping plaza so you might want to get there a little early due to the parking lot being a little congested. But sincerity Dead online reserve your seats and go give it a try. You will not regret it.
Great seats for the full tilt recliners (like myself) who can enjoy the movies in complete comfort. Staff members were very helpful even the kid who asked to check our bags to make sure we were not sneaking in food and drinks. Prices were a little steep so we opted to go out after the movie to eat. Beautiful screen for viewing!
My go to movie theatre. Clean, concessions workers are helpful and friendly. They have reclining seats also. My fave spot to watch a movie. I bought 4 tickets for avengers. 2 of my kids got sick and couldnt make it. The manager was awesome, refunded the 2 tickets. Plenty of places nearby for food before or after movie. Will definitely go back, if you going to see a movie, i highly recommend this joint.
One of my favorite theaters, usually very clean and love the comfortable assigned seating. I also enjoy the fact they now serve Beer and Wine but hate the fact of waiting around for a manager or someone with a key to open the locked cooler. This has happened in more than one occasion. I usually dont mind the wait but when your movie is about to start and your server knows its taking awhile and comfort you by saying dont worry, theres 20 minutes or so before it really starts found that funny.. I am assuming this is due to the under age employees working as cashiers and cant handle beer, so it is what it is I guess....
Very nice and comfortable reclining chairs and tons of leg room for space so it was great! However, the theatre was extremely dirty even after cleaning. The bathrooms were gross and there were tons of napkins, tissues, and popcorn all over. If they didnt come out of the theatre I wouldve assumed there had been no cleaning at all. It was a bit gross.
Nice theater, very well kept. On the other hand, the staff were a bunch of teenagers that did not want to be there at all. I came with a big group of about 50 kids and a dozen adults to see the first screening of The Lion King that day. We all ordered the snack pack and were there over an hour before the movie started so we could all get our food. They didn’t start giving us the snack packs until after the had movie started. We even had to pack half of them ourselves because they were going so slow.
Great little theater.Clean, comfortable, friendly/helpful staff, the food is standard theatre food with good variety (nachos, hot dogs, pop corn, etc).Best of all? You can choose your seat and order it beforehand when buying the tickets, and the theatres have been renovated so they all have the large recliner style seats.
Good spot to catch a movie. The seats are comfortable and recline. Facilities are clean, but for whatever reason the handicapped bathroom stalls are kind of just shoved into the bathroom without any real regard for spacing. If you open the stall door too quickly without paying attention, you will slam it into some guy using the urinal.
I enjoyed the theater, but I was extremely disappointed in the concession service. My sister and I came to town for a funeral, and chose to attend a movie at this theater to lift our spirits. Overall, the experience was great. My issue is, if the rule is one refill, and you dont have self serve stations, please be willing to serve your customers. My sister asked for a refill, the service attendance said she would but she was busy, and left. Then we waited for 2 families to go through the line. Another family arrived after we began waiting, and the attendant was about to serve them. I had to speak up and say, Excuse me, we were waiting, before she assisted us. We both requested Coke, as I walked away and sipped mine, she spitefully gave me Diet Coke instead of what I requested. I feel this way because my sister and I both said Coke, she got what she requested, and I did not. I just left. Ive never had a negative experience with Regal, but I felt disrespected and completely disregarded.
This is one of my favorite theaters. The service is fast and the employees are always really nice. I think the only bad thing I would have to say is that for a theater that offers recliner chair service the chairs should and need to be updated or replaced because there peeling and just outdated.
I went to Regal last night to see F9 with my brother. We were severely disappointed with the Theatre and wish I had gone to Cinemark. The Theatre looked closed from the outside. The ticket stand was completely empty and I thought the showtimes had been incorrect. But upon entering, there was a line at the concession stand. I went to the Help Desk to buy tickets because the ticket kiosks are also gone. I was informed the tickets must be purchased at the concession stand, but as ludicrous as this might be to believe, they only had one line in place, so as people requested a movie, selected their seats, confirmed the prices, paid for the tickets, waited for the receipt, they then proceeded to pick food items verbally because, lo and behold, the menu screens are turned off. Now they have to select, change sizes, add snacks, add drinks, make requests, then finally pay, but after they pay, they are then waiting for their food while the line continues to grow and elongate and expand because people who ALREADY bought their tickets-- have to wait to order food, while others-- who ONLY want to buy tickets-- cant select the line just for tickets. Spending twenty minutes on each customer is counterproductive, especially when people schedule their busy days to arrive at the theater on time. I arrived ten minutes early to my movie, but if you think that 20 minute indicator previously mentioned is exaggerating, Im sorry to say it isnt. I had to flag the manager down to ask for a secondary line for tickets, but the same process continued. Buy your tickets, then your food, and make everyone else wait, so people who were minutes early are now late for their movie. If Im paying $30 to see a movie and another $20 on snacks, I DO NOT WANT TO BE LATE TO THE MOVIE. If Im paying $7 for a soda, I dont appreciate it when I sit down and find out it isnt even filled up all the way. I dont appreciate having to ask one by one by one what menu items are available since the manager Daniel cant turn on the screens, cant effectively organize his lines, and isnt aware of what menu items are readily available without asking his immature staff. Now, Im overpaying for partially filled soda, munching on secondary option snacks, late to a movie because of concession issues, only to find the theatre is too warm. My pants and undergarments were so soaked from sweat, I thought I walked home. If it wasnt 1 AM because I had to select a later showtime just to miss the trailers, I would have complained and asked for my money back. This used to be my favorite movie theatre to go to-- Ive been coming here for 20 years, since I first moved to Pembroke Pines and saw Spider-Man and The Scorpion King in the same summer with my Uncle, but this was the most uncomfortable experience at Regal. AMC is brand new; Cinemark was absolutely comfortable. Theres competition and a post-pandemic era to contend with, along with streaming options appearing more frequently. There is no excuse for these asinine discrepancies. If you do not care about your job, please venture off to another one. I prefer to enjoy my movie theatre experience, not contemplating how to best complain because of how absolutely irate I am. Black Widow, Eternals, Shang-Chi, Spider-Man, Ghostbusters, Jungle Cruise, Dune, Space Jam, No Time To Die, Free Guy, and many more will all be coming to theatres this year. Thank God the Theatres are open again, but I might just consider Cinemark. I prefer to enjoy movies when I watch them.
This place was always great with no problems but recently we went and had to wait almost 18 minutes just to buy the tickets and food all in the same lines you would normally just order food. This was a terrible idea and not sure if they are trying to save money. Maybe they are in training mode right now and hopefully gets better. The seats are the reclining ones that are awsome.
Overpriced food but I think all theaters are like that. Place is clean and spacious. The screens are a bit small in comparison to other places. The overall experience for my little girl was 5 stars but I really want to give a solid 4. I guess it is better than being elbow to elbow with a stranger.
This theater offers recline COMFY seats available for a cheap price compared to other places such as Cinebistro. Auditoriums are spacious and clean. They also have big screens and great sound! Seats can be previously reserved online as well. This is my go to movie theater, especially for movie premiers!
One of the worst theater experiences of my life! The concession stand was trashed with popcorn and empty cups on the floor. I ordered a large soda and they gave me one from the floor. When I said I didnt want a floor cup, the person told me You people are too picky in an effeminate voice and refused to sell me the soda. After waiting twenty minutes for hot foods, my husband and I discovered our seats were covered in trash. We wiped it all off, but then my husband thought he heard some scratching noises during the movie. After the lights went up for the credits, we saw a mouse crawl under the seats. Theyre nice seats, but theyre also filled with mice. We looked for a manager to complain to, but it was the last show and no one was found. Terrible. This place should be shut down.
By far my favorite movie theatre! Not only are all of the seats recliners but theres a whole lot of leg room. You can reserve your seat(s) as you purchase your ticket(s) so youre sure to be seated next to whomever is with you on a crowded day. One of the best things about this theatre is that because all seats are recliners, even being in the front row is nice. Just recline your seat back and you wont feel too close to the screen so you can still enjoy your movie.
This theatre has become me and my husbands favorite place to come and enjoy a movie. The staff is awesome the seating is the best. No one bumping into the back of the seat, not hearing the smacking, chewing and extra conversation behind me and that extra leg room is the best. We will continue to have our date night here.
Theatre in general is great HOWEVER its time for new seats. This place almost died out when Muvico opened many years ago and then by simply changing their seats and menu they came back better than ever. I support this site because it the small theatre versus the giant one but for the first time I almost didnt want to sit down. Management, its time. Please address the seats then youll be a 5 rating.
I only give this theater 3 stars because its a simple theater. Nothing spectacular at all. The screens and the sound systems are average. That didnt really bother me since Im not one of those video or audiophiles. The only thing that really bothered me about this place was the smell. The movie house whereI watched my movie had a very noticeable odor. If I had to describe it I would say it smelled like mildewed laundry that sat in the washing machine too long. Other than that the only complaint I have about this theater is their matinee hours. I went to see a movie that started at 3:20 pm on a Sunday and the tickets were full priced because their matinee prices end at 3 pm. Thats very weak, IMO. Most theaters dont start charging full price until 4 or 5 pm. Other than those things, the theater was pretty quite and clean so no complaints there. Another great thing is that every Tuesday you can watch movies for $6 all day long. Thats a huge plus if youre like anything like me where I generally prefer seeing movies during the week to avoid all the commotion, especially when Im going to see big budget, blockbuster movies.
You must give it a star to write a review, if I could give it -5 it would be my pleasure. Regal has found a great way to save overhead expenses, at the movie goers expense. Although they have plenty of Box offices out front, they no longer have personnel. You must purchase the tickets at the concession stand, this evening each concession cashier had at least 8 to 10 people with 10 to 15 minute waits. Last time I will ever visit regal West Fork.
On Friday 3/15/19 I went to the concession stand with my 2 sons to purchase 1 kids meal for my 8 year old and add a kids size drink for my toddler of the same size as the kids meal comes with so they can share the popcorn and they wanted to charge the same price of a 16oz soda $4.79!! An extra $4.79 just for a small cup size drink!! (See attached photo from register). When I asked to speak to the manager she stated that was the policy. This is abuse, price gouging! Your employees are taking advantage and overcharging your customers with no oversight.Your concession staff needs customer service training. When I asked the concession employee for the name of his manager he stated he did not know her name and laughed it off with another team member. This theater did not meet my expectations. Very bad experience.
Went to movies purchased tickets on line and had a nice experience based on facility. The only mishap was that the attendant did not know about the poster that was suppose to be given at the theater. She did not bother to ask only handing the 3-D glasses. Parking was easy and plenty of affordable restaurants nearby if you want to catch dinner before or after.
Great and kind service, love the recliner seats, everything is very clean, and the screens are very nice. Worth the price. Only hiccup is the parking spaces so I suggest arriving early. Theres arranged seat spots so if your entering with a group, best thing to do is buy tickets in advance to make sure everyones together.
Nice theater. Reclining seats. Pleasant staff. My only complaint is that I went for a matinee and there werent many other customers there (maybe 4), but the wait at the concession stand was too long (over ten minutes). I was only the 2nd person in line and the couple ahead of me had already ordered.
How I love the new seats. When you get your tickets you know where you are sitting. Super comfortable, clean great theater. The only bad thing is that they need more people at the food area or move a little faster. Takes forever to get stuff and you miss the previews.
We usually go to AMC but wanted to try Regal. Horrible experience. They check bags, which I havent seen done at a theater in a while. The customer service is HORRIBLE! The staff at the concession stand have other things to do than be helpful. The combo meals flashed across the screen quickly. I asked the young lady what were the combos and she seemed agitated and was yawning. I had reward points and she never asked if I wanted to redeem it. Movie didnt have sound for over 20 minutes. Several people left the seats to get an employee. After 30 minutes the movie played.
Very nice theater... Better looking inside than outside. Good food and I love the feel once youre inside. Great picture quality and sound. Its not a super big theater but for a regular best the crowd movie night, its my first choice. Parking is tight since its shared with the other shops. A++++
This theater has the most comfortable seats. The theaters are small and cosy and provide the best viewing. I love the reserve seating as it makes movie watching/going hassle free. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is that the concession stand is the slowest I have ever seen and they always seem to have an issue with their equipment.
Very disappointed in our first experience there. We went to the theater with our little ones to see the new My little pony movie. However, the film lost volume, then stopped completely.... twice. Then once it restarted, it picked up at a completely different part of the movie. We had no idea what was going on. Then the ac wasn’t working. And management didn’t seem to care much either for the inconvenience. So we ended up having to get up for a total of four times during a 80 minute movie.... With children. I do not recommend this place, and I don’t think I’ll come back here. And the “discount day” is a rip-off. Not worth it. Better off checking other theaters.
Lovely theater, love the recliner seats. Only fault I find was the bathrooms were a mess.We had to stand in line to get a toilet that was half way decent. Lobby has trash. Dont know what happened. Its never like this. I will go back because I like the recliner seats. Cleaning crew needs to step it up.
Manager went out of his way to NOT be helpful when my family and I were unable to print our tickets ahead of time. We were there over 1 hour before the movie time, hopeful to get the issue solved. Also, his staff seemed scared of him. Thats no way to run a business. Theater itself was okay. Clean, friendly staff behind concessions.
Super clean theatre. The recliners are awesome. Assigned seating is nice, although it did cause some issues when we visited. Concessions could use some help...the concept of lines and any type of organization is way over their heads here. The confusion over seating (numbers are apparently to the left of the seat) and poorly organized concessions were the reason for the one star reduction.
Wasnt expecting the new improved seating arrangements.I was clearly disappointed when, while getting my movie tickets, the theater unexpectantly introduced the new rule of seat reservations. I dont know who came up with this bright idea, but this new rule clearly ruined my day. My family and I were forced to disperse in random seats just because lazy customers, who actually showed up a few minutes before the movie even started compared to at least 30 minutes before, decided they could have their seats reserved earlier in the day! It might be convenient for them, but it isnt for loyal customers who are responsible enough to even show up on time and patiently wait for their movie. The rule First come for serve is justifiable, but the seating rule clearly defies and manipulates this belief to their advantage.Furthermore, as much as the new leather seats were comfortable, I couldnt fathom how many people were lazy to get up. In fact, they were so comfortable that no one wanted to get up for a bathroom break! This is a major issue to their health, especially if someone suffers from bladder infection.I dont know how they did it, but there is no way that these new chairs couldve passed the hazard free inspection. The recliners extend so far out that if, God forbid, there was a fire in the building, people would trip over the recliners whether they are standing or even sitting down! And in the end, the everyone would burn inside the building ..... Speaking of fire, I saw no fire exits whatsoever in the new theater room (what happened there?), and wonder just how much the theater truly cares for our safety.Overall, this new rule is deplorable like the magic bands in Disney. They want to make our lives easier with all these technological advances but newsflash: EVERYTHING gets complicated with technology. Im very disappointed with how things turned out; hopefully Regal realizes their mistake and either fixes this problem or take it away completely. Please Regal, next time when you have another bright idea, consider the pros and cons (because theyre a lot of them) BEFORE enacting them.
Its pretty far west in to Pembroke Pines... They have changed the chairs to reclinable ones that are soft and large. The popcorn is reasonably priced and the staff is polite. However I didnt like people that would just hang out without purpose in some of the areas. A soft bench would have been ideal for small groups to aggregate away from hallways
Amazing. I always come here, at least once a week, and although it is busy they are always clean, nice and fast. Their regal card for rewards points is amazing, and I am always getting points that can turn into free pop corn and drinks. When buying a ticket you get to pick your seats, so you know exactly where you sit when you get there. Some people get confused about the seats and start counting the number of chairs from the row, but thats because they are probably new.
This is an update to my previous review as i have now learned with the regal app i have acquired a lot of points with all my visits and learned how to use them for concession discounts free movie tickets and more. This is my go to theatre it is clean and dont get me started with the recliners after my first visit a couple years back i get used to their recliners and could not be comfier anywhere else.Overall great theatre i personally love it and the staff are very welcoming.
If you, like me, dont want to be in the crowded launch dates but watch it later when the buzz has passed, dont go to this place. They move the showings to smaller rooms and the service is terrible. They didnt dim the lights, the sound was low (even my wife complained) and the room too small. Comfortable chairs, but not good service.
Great little theater.Been to numerous movies here since it was just a first come basis theater.Reclining seats, popcorn always fresh, small theater feel with great sound system.Get the regal rewards card and youll get popcorn and drink upgrades, free movies and much more.
Conveniently located, this theater offers very comfortable seats. Regal Rewards App allows you to cut through the line. Their Academy Best Film Festival Pass was awesome. Got to see the 9 films nominated for Best Picture for $35. The Managers are super service oriented ready to help anyone resolve problems.
I ran to the concession in the middle of the movie to grab a quick hot something to eat. I asked if the hotdogs were hot (last time it was cold). It took 5 min to take the temperature of the hotdog to say it was not hot. He recommended fries because it was only 4 minutes. That ended up being 10 minutes for very greasy fries. Ok maybe I was in a hurry and they didnt drain the fries. Maybe he should not have recommended the fries since he knew I was in the middle of the movie. I requested money back. The manager took his time to refund my money.Needless to say I am so disappointed. The theater itself is great but this is the second time I have issues with the concession stand. Another thing there were 5 employees behind the counter and 2 customers. They are very very slow.I missed most of the movie. Next time I bring my own food.
I never leave reviews but since my husband and I received such amazing customer service from Esteban I wanted to write a review. I thought Esteban was super helpful with all of our questions and made it an enjoyable experience. The manager was also just as kind.Thank you :)
Best theater in the area. Reserved seating makes going to the movies so much easier. The seats are AMAZING. Recliner sofa seats with tons of leg room. You have to book in advance for popular movies, but that also takes the headache out of trying to get a spot at the last minute and getting stuck in a bad seat.
I love going to this movie theater! The seats are very comfortable and everything is well kept. Everytime I happen to go to this theater the people know how to behave while watching a movie. The only thing Im not very fond of is that they check bags. I can understand if someone seems suspicious but they check everyone and its uncomfortable.
AVOID this theatre on the weekends!! This place has closed their box office- forcing customers to buy tickets at the concession stand, even if they are not buying snacks. I had multiple conversations with different people in line and everyone was equally frustrated with this painfully slow process of buying tickets at a crowded counter. You can tell the poor employees were overwhelmed with the countless complaints! The mess that occurred this night is representative of the mess that goes on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you want to enjoy a relaxing couple of hours watching a movie, I would highly suggest AMC or even Cinemark which is right across the street.
Regal is a great movie theater walking distance from Grand Palms, Towngate and Spring Valley Communities. This theater offers food. The movie rooms are large, with comfortable recliners. Its a great place to watch a movie on your own or in a group. After of before the movie, the property is surrounded by various restaurants, where one is certain to peak your interest. Enjoy dinner and a movie at this location.
They check your bags to make sure you dont bring snacks or drinks lolTheir staff including manager is extremely slow, rude and unprofessional. The manager literally had blue/green lips & teeth from candy and was not interested in answering our questions. He blatantly ignored us and continued to talk about the basketball game or his date to another dude. Their lines for concession are always extremely long and it takes forever - basically you need a good 20 minutes or youll miss the beginning of the movieFor some reason this theatre sells seats where you can choose ahead of time (which I love) but they arent good at enforcing it. So you still have to get there early or spend more time asking for an employee to to over there, check everyones tickets and make that person move. The employees even ask you if you want a different seat since someone else is already sitting there. Ummm no! The whole point of reserving my Seats is because I want that particular seat! Also I love their reclining chairs but theyre Beginning to wear. They need to re upholster them AND maintain them as a few no longer recline properly
The manager to staff here are very accommodating. Theyre very friendly and respect people. I like the layout of this theater, it has a unique design. The concession stand serves your regular movie theater food, and they also serve beer and wine, thats the most other movie theaters. The only bad thing about this place is that they do not have reclining seats yet. The very good thing about this place is that theres always seats available, everybody seems to go to Pembroke Lakes 9 where there is never a availability because its a brand new place and of course its the newest fad. But the smart people go to westfork, are actually able to see the movie they want to see and not have it be sold out.
We arrived to the our showing 15minutes prior, 1. For drinks they only had coke and my husband was wanting a frozen drink. 2. Walk into our auditorium and notice it’s hot, when finding our sits there was food and garbage on them so it’s obvious the auditorium was not cleaned. 3. After sitting for a couple minutes the heat in the auditorium was getting uncomfortable and went to look look for a manger and was inform that the AC is missing a part and we would have to watch the movie like this. Unfortunately the experience was not the best.
Update: 11/26/19Began to return to this location and management is top notch. Great service, crew and always clean.Previous experience:Had a huge issue using my prepaid tickets that have a scan code for them to scan and give me my seat selections. They always have an issue scanning because they state they need it to be printed but whenever I go to Regal Magnolia in Coral Springs I have zero issues. I love regal but hate this location. I even asked the manager to contact the magnolia location so they can show him that it can be done but they refused. I always get the same manager. He just doesnt understand customer service. He worked this past Sunday on New Years Day so corporate can have a talk with him.
SAVE MONEY AND TIME DONT GO HERE!!!!!!! Our experience here was terrible. We came as a group of 7 with 5 kids to see Aladdin. After arriving on time for the movie we walk in to see it is already 25 minutes in... not to the previews... into the actual movie. Our seats were filled and we figured that we were most likely in the wrong theater. We went to customer service to speak to the manager and he tells us that none of the previews would play because of the storm. (We knew this was a lie, because like the movie the previews are recorded. Therefor if the movie could be played so could the previews) he then continues to tell us that he looked at the theater and it seemed full enough to start the movie. (It was only 5 rows of seats, the theater was not full) We received no notification that the movie would start earlier. He never offered any apology and we had to ask for a full refund of both tickets and all of our food/drinks (we were not about to stand there and eat them). He never offered to do any of this. He told us there will be no more showings of Aladdin today. At this point the kids all wanted to know why they weren’t watching Aladdin, it was hard to explain that the manager was incompetent to a bunch of children. This theater lost the business of 7 people. Until this manager is gone you can count us out.Further info about the theater:The concession line was also very slow with only two registers open and no receipts availablesome were asking about cleanliness, we saw lion king the week before and the buttons on the seats were covered in greasy fingerprints.
I went to watch a movie at Regal today with my family of four. The theatre was very empty when we walked in and once the movie started I decided I could run out and get a beer without missing too much of the movie. I purchased the beer and was told they needed a key to open the liquor. The cashier made three attempts to call someone over the radio and no one answered or came. She then went and started knocking on doors at the front of the theater but no one answered. I told her I was watching a movie and missing it and she told me there was nothing she could do and I just had to wait. After over 20 minutes of waiting three people came out of a room that she was knocking on and continued to talk outside of the room before coming over to open the cabinet. The person who opened the cabinet as well as the manager did not even acknowledge me or apologize for the wait and cost me losing time during the movie. Regal is the closest theater to my house but there are two more theaters within a 5 mile radius ( AMC and Cinemark) and the employees did not even think it was their responsibility to provide any customer service. I will definitely be choosing another theater next time.
Seats are very comfortable!! After that its all down hill. Concession stand workers way too slow. Its always at least 20 minutes. Then getting sucky popcorn thats really small pieces to have to go back and return it as well as getting cold cheese sauce with the nachos also has to be returned. Expensive price for sucky snacks and slow service. Wake up Mr Manager. There are plenty of theatres to go too!!
This movie theater is the best when it comes to social distance they make sure its not alot of people on the same row and they have it to were you have to were the mask when you come in and in the bathroom so that you wont be affected by the pandemic best movies ever definitely should come here
Last night I went to watch train wreck with my significant other and he was very tired from his fire fighter training... I bought my tickets at customer service and a gentleman called Julian Carrero was incredible help for us. We have been to this theatre before but it was a while ago. When Julian informed us about the new luxury seating my husband went from not wanting to be there to exited to watch a movie here. The reclining seats are amazing !!! Best idea so far. We were so comfortable watching our movie , it felt like we were home. The new reserve seating system is very convenient for people like us that dont have a lot of time in our hands to get there 30 minutes before to catch a decent view. Im so happy with this theatre cant wait to come here again!!!.
My favorite theater by far. They make things simple and have a good customer experience. The plaza offers food and shopping for a great night out. Nice mix of families...young folks...and singles so if youre looking for a family night or eye candy of any kind....this is your place. A smorgasbord of fun.
Let me start by saying my 5 star rating is significant because this used to be the worst movie theatre you could imagine and to be avoided at all costs. In the past year there has been an absolute turnaround. The whole place is renovated with beautiful reclining leather seats and overall decor, the staff is friendly and efficient, the concession menu is expanded. The sodas always taste good now (they used to be flat and warm). These changes in addition to some overall corporate level changes including a super cool new Regal Crown Club point system and app come together to making Regal Westfork the ideal moviegoing experience.
Great movie theater. They have discounted ticket prices on Tuesday!! Id give this theater 5 stars, except that a few times Ive experienced slightly discolored screens on 3D movies. Nothing major, but enough to make you think you have dirty 3D glasses. Ive mentioned it to the manager so I hope theyve fixed it. The Seats are Assigned only, and theyre electric and reclinable.
Best theater seating for general pricing. Leather seats that fully recline. Its like going to Cinebistro without having to pay the high fees to experience luxury comfort while enjoying a movie. Love that its pre-reserved seating. You select your seat so you dont have to do the mad rush that most movie goers do. Also the concession stand line moves fast.
I drive up from Miami to go here. Assigned Recliner seating, and awesome audio systems. Best theater and worth the drive. Plenty of parking and local restaurants next door, and even a Painting with a twist. Las Vegas is great for a dinner before or after your movie. Join the Crown Club to gain points for free concessions and Movies!
I live closer to an AMC and a Cobb, but we always drive the extra couple miles to come here. They have great recliner seats and I love the fact that you can reserve your seats in advance. We always bring my 4 year old, and if she doesnt enjoy the movie, she just lays down in the comfy seat and takes a nap.
This movie theater is located in the strip mall.. Customers are able to purchase tickets with Cash or Credit Cards.. The Newest Movies are listed on the website and showtimes..The parking spaces are many..At the movies you can purchase Hot food and drinks.. The building and restrooms are Handicap accessible and cleaned.
I love going to this Regal so much that I decided to become a Regal Crown Club member. Ive been to this theater over 20 times in the past 365 days, and I dont plan on stopping. This is a great place to take the kids. Ive never had an issue with rude people, loud teens, or overbearing parents. Its a chill place and very family friendly. Employees *almost* always have a smile on their face, lines arent ridiculously long, the popcorn tastes delicious, staff are very helpful.I like that theres a small arcade for kids to keep entertained while they wait. The games are fun and prices stay at or below $1 per game. The theaters all have reclining leather seats, which is great for the little ones. I always hated going to the movies and having to prop my legs on my kids seats to keep them from flipping up. Now they get their own space, they lounge comfortably, and theres plenty of room for people to walk in the rows without everyone have to sit/stand up to let them out. The best feature is being able to reserve seats in advance. No more first come, first served in a way because you are promised the seat of your choice at booking. No me waiting for hours in long lines, kids screaming and bored, or not finding enough seats for your group. My only issues with this theater is that the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often and the concession prices are way too high. Those issues are found in every theater though, so it doesnt stop me from going to Regal. Everything else about this place is amazing and I recommend you try it out at least once.
Place is in good condition but unfortunately theyre prices are insane. A small popcorn and small coke over $15.00. They make it impossible to have a family night out with this kind of price. You can go over to Cinemark and pay half the prices for both food and tickets.
Everything is great, except how they take 28 min to get a small hand size cinnamon dessert. Dont know if is the same thing for foods. (Just dont order the cinnamon bites if you willing to wait that long and later complain) save your self the time and enjoy your movie.
Great atmosphere they offer a point reward system for their refreshments and popcorn. Chicken tenders etc. The seating is very good its like a lounge chair you could almost Layback completely and watch the movie from any point in the theater. Soundsystem is fantastic
We went to see Equalizer2 which premiered yesterday. Went to the Regal location on Pines Blvd. 159. We were sitting in the theater awaiting showing which was supposed to be at 7:10. When 7:25 or so hit, it was announced that the movie will not play due to a technical issue. We had to run to the front to get a refund or a different showing. At NO point did they apologize (only at general announcement) for the inconvenience this caused everyone. Alot of folks had bought concession stuff...food, snacks and drinks. We asked for a refund of the stuff we bought, the manager on duty came to do the return asked for us to leave our snacks, including the somewhat eaten popcorn and drink...it was the rudest experience. I said to my daughter go ahead and keep your drink and popcorn all theyre going to do with it is throw it out. Again he did not apologize for what happened as this was NOT our fault...he should have said I apologize for your inconvenience, we will give you a credit for your snacks and at NO point asked for the stuff back. This is a terrible experience. Theater mgmt. needs to go over expectations if ever this should happen again. We had to book another movie, go to a different showing and wanted alot of time.
No traffic, Not many teens, and close to home. Now with assigned seats that recline!!Make sure to check your pockets. With new seats, its common for phone, keys or other ideas to slide out. Staff are helpful if this does happen to you. They have a lost and found at the help desk.Tuesdays are discounted prices for movies and popcorn.Depending on season, they play classic Disney movies or special Anime showings.
I purchased my ticket through Fandango over the internet. When I arrived at the theater, there was no one there to scan my barcode. I had to wave down a worker to find out which theater the movie was playing at? The worker told me theres an old guy collecting tickets and phone scans, but he roams off.
Excellent place to go to the movies imo... it was till the other day that when i went to a particular room that the seats were still dirty with popcorn from the previous show that i found out all they do to clean the seats i pass a broom over it? Its not the biggest issue simply because i can buy some wipes on my own terms but it was kinda disgusting.
Great theater to take the family too!The staff keeps the rowdy teenagers and inconsiderate cell phone users in check.Parking is easy to get to and out of.Good restaurants close by.Prefer this theater to all the others in the Miami Lakes, Pembroke Pines, and Weston areas!
We ordered a glass of wine and it took 12 minutes from the time we paid until the glass was in hand. They had to call someone and then there were problems. A few minutes in we ask for our money back because our movie was going to start soon. Nope. No refunds. We ended up missing the first 2 minutes of the movie...
Box office has been closed and tickets now sold at consesion stand and I was in line behind people buying candy and popcorn before I could buy my ticket so I was late to see my movie. Westfork plaza owners increased rent to all stores, so maybe this was done to shave operating expenses. This used to be MY FAVORITE theater and used to be best by far.
Usually good.....today, awful....thanks to an 8 yr old using a cell phone the entire 2 hrs 20 min. while sitting between the obliviously rude parents. Manager notified....took 20 min to send an employee to advise to turn it off. The employee left and the phone was never turned off. After the movie we went to complain again. Too late to toss the offenders out, but here are 2 fee passes. Oh well. Next time well make a bigger fuss.
Nice atmosphere, family friendly movie theater. The only problem I find with this theater is that when you go there the person who is taking your tickets will ask the females to open their handbags in order to check for guns. I am an officer and targeting the females isnt going to solve anything. Males do not carry handbags but the females are targeted 🤔. Males carry weapons in their waistline, in their pockets on their ankles and so do officers. So targeting females handbags comes off as bordline harassment or stereotyping.

2022-06-26We went to see our first movie in a couple of years and we were very happy with our overall experience at Regal. The showtime was 4pm, so the venue was not crowded, but well staffed. We had purchased our tickets in advance, so we simply showed the QR Code on my phone to enter. The movie theater itself was clean, comfortable and the rows nicely spaced.

2022-06-24Frequent customer and never had a issue with customer service or the auditoriums condition. Staffs are always ready for clean up after the movie is done. Bathroom are always clean and have great scent. The seats have been worn out now, it can be upgraded.

2022-07-11Movie times I wanted were full so I got the 10:35PM, my movie is over 2 hours so on long movies I like to spend money on food. I go to get food and they have NOTHING. No pizza, no burgers ,no large pop corn, no nachos they say kitchen is closed, how is kitchen closed while some movies haven’t even started yet???. So I stick to a medium popcorn and Pepsi. I’d have a better experience with food sneaking in WingStop next time. 👎🏽

2022-05-16The movie experience remains great, but has become ridiculously expensive for a family. For four of us, after all was said and done, totaled more than $100. Maybe Im still in inflation shock, but that seems so high to me. Anyway, my boys and I had a fun night with Dr. Strange. Maybe a theater membership is the way to go?

2022-05-06I was a really disappointed in Regals theater tonight we came to watch Dr Strange opening night all the seats were dirty and very very worn down all the carpets were dirty and they left the lights on through the first 10 minutes of the movie. I know you guys can do better so hopefully this review helps you improve in these areas. Regal you really need take this review serious people spend alot money to watch movies and they dont want to sit in a dirty theater. You have had 2 years since COVID you could at least put some new seats and cleans the place. I hope corporate reads this....

2022-06-01This theater was one of my go to spots when I was a teenager. Not much aesthetically has changed since the theater opened however gone are the days of the box office. You buy your tickets at the concession stand and get to choose your seats. During peak times I would recommend buying the tickets in advance on your phone to avoid being disappointed by a theater selling out. We went for a matinee this afternoon and were delighted that we were in an almost empty theater. The seats electronically recline and are pretty comfortable, however, the “leather” is peeling on almost every single one. Other than that the facilities are super clean. The weekday matinee price for two people was a little over $20. Not bad! It felt good to be back in the theater after being away for so long. Looking forward to coming more often.

2022-06-25Theatre seats worn and dirty. Consession service was slow and prices sky high! You would think with the few people going to theatres they would manage to keep it clean. 3 tickets, two kids and one adult 1 large popcorn and 3 med Pepsi $65.10, memories forgettable! If this is what’s to be expected, I will stream on the comfort of my home! If this continues theatres will be a thing of the past.

2022-07-07To all the people complaining about them not checking tickets and anyone can go to another movie, this happens at all theaters and it not a uncommon occurrence, as for the 4 star review, this is due to the seats not working in 2 movies Ive gone to see, luckily both times they came and fixed it, it was just unplugged, but someones customer service can be a little annoying with asking 3 people the same thing and them not knowing, and also my past 3 movies Ive seen the popcorn has been Incredibly salty, so salty that Ive had to return it and it was still salty, and finally the seats are ripped, especially the back seats, it is a little big uncomfortable but its nothing that a blanket cant solve, other than that its a 3.5 out of 5 but since google cant half rate, its a 4 stars. As for our expenses, it is 2 seniors and 1 kid, and 1 Large popcorn so around 35-50 dollars very cheap.

2022-05-29I rarely give a 1 star review. This place has gone down hill. Doubt I will ever go back. Ordered online, no one had a clue at concessions what i was tallking about. Seats did not worked or ripped. The popcorn was stale and burnt. No one checked our tickets. Place seemed really dirty. What happened to this place. So sad.

2022-03-15The movie great, the sound amazing, went to watch The Batman and had a decent time. Except for the pealing leather recliners. The leather was pealing so bad that it stuck to my clothes. I look horrible and since it was sticky it was very hard to remove off my clothes. For the price I paid in tickets... I shouldnt have to deal with that.
