It is a breath of fresh air to find a roofing company as knowledgeable professional and courteous as SCM Roofing . I met with Shawn for an estimate for my roofing project. He arrived on time looked very professional and was able to explain the complete proposal so that I could understand exactly what would be done.The price he presented was excellent for the warranties that where offered. The communication of when my project was going to start, when the crew was going to show up and how long it would take was spot on. If your looking for a professional company to give you the best service and warranties SCM Roofing is the company I would highly recommend.
As a general contractor, we had a very complicated and high profile job with TPO roofing for one of our clients on Longboat Key. Shawn and his team at SCM Roofing were absolutely amazing – from start to finish on the project. SCM Roofing of Cape Coral does a fantastic job with any type of roof replacement, repair or attic ventilation project. SCM and their installers are certified and are highly skilled with all types of roofing systems and materials. I worked with Shawn Alverson, for a project to update our metal roof system, in order to extend its longevity and for the installation of solar ventilation fans for my attic spaces. Shawn was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the project, what our home required and was a pleasure to work with. When I made the decision to work with SCM Roofing I was immediately confident that they would be skilled, dependable, trustworthy, and that the work would be of high quality, using the best materials. I highly recommend Shawn and SCM Roofing for any roofing or attic ventilation project of any size.
I dont generally write reviews, but in this case I had to. Andy from SCM was excellent throughout the entire process. Pricing was fair, job quality was excellent, as was the speed at which the entire process was performed. 1 day to tear off and dry in, next day dry in inspection, next day shingles. No issues through the entire process. Andy and SCM were excellent. Highly recommend.
We got a notice from our HO insurance company regarding our roof in Port Charlotte was showing damage and that we needed to fix it, or our insurance would not renew. Contacted several roofing companies to get quotes. We expected to pay for a new roof. Shawn Alverson of SCM roofing contacted me. Gave us good quotes for long lasting roof and said he could work with insurance company to see if roof would be covered by the insurance. Shawn did this! He met with adjuster a couple of times and got us an entire new roof paid for by our HO insurance, 1st claim ever but saved us a huge amount! Shawn also got interior work, gutters replaced, and new screen on screen room covered as well. It was amazing. We are very pleased with SCM full level support and assistance. They took care of it all for us. We are very happy and highly recommend SCM roofing and Shawn Alverson. 5 stars for sure. Thank you Shawn and SCM!
Shawn Alverson is about as a straight shooter as you can get. Ive known Shawn now for several months through our networking group. He always is positive, truthful, and will tell you if you need your roof replaced or if you can put it off for a time. More importantly, the reasons why or why not you should choose what is to be done. He is very personable and truly believes in the product and the service that he and his crew gives. I cannot recommend a better representative to have on your side when the time comes to need a new roof.
