We came in from Texas to find our ‘retirement’ home, likely during the worst possible time to relocate. After some time in the market, based on availability, features and finishes, and the people we met, we decided a SPEC home from Sposen Builders was the best value for us. We made some upgrades, signed a purchase contract and have been monitoring progress remotely online. Now, close to completion, we couldn’t be more excited. Niska at Sposen homes was so helpful in the beginning stage of the home building process. She was very attentive and always followed up on our questions the same day or within the week. We had several customization requests that she quickly got pricing for and added in for us. She helped us with the purchase of our lot and construction loan which was a stressful process, but the constant communication made it easier to work through. We appreciate the time she put into helping us get our dream home started!

We recently completed our custom home design with Sposen Homes and had an wonderful experience. Before we started they made it a point to set expectations and explain the overall process to us. Some of the timelines were extended due to Covid and other factors, but overall we understood especially based on the scope of the project. Their architect, Mark was attentive to our ideas and helped guide us through our questions. Mackenzie, their designer did a wonderful job helping us with selections. We were also able to be in touch with their engineer, Casey who helped us to understand some of the more complicated aspects of our build. We couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with on our custom project than Sposen Homes. They have all the tools in place that keep you involved with the entire process from start to finish.

While we didnt purchase a home through Sposen, we wanted to pass along that we had an excellent experience with them and specifically Matthew. A very professional and a well run operation. Once you walk through the front door of their office complex, you know this isnt some individual whos working out of their garage. Matthew did an outstanding job providing us with details of how they operate, home construction process, options available, and even helped helped us find some empty lots to consider. We have built 5 new homes - in four different states (CA, TX, GA, FL). Based on our initial experience with Sposen - we think this builder is one of the better ones in SW Florida. Purchased a new home to be constructed on my lot on a gulf access canal. Will have a seawall, pool and 3 bed, 2 bath home all built by Sposen Homes.
Our experience with Sposen homes was primarily dealing with Bobby Christiano who conducted two separate walk throughs where he did an expert job of showing us all the ins and outs of our new home. His attention to detail exceeded our expectations and his professionalism was refreshing. Bobby is a tremendous representative for Sposen Homes.
Sposen Homes is currently building us the Haven signature model with an RV garage. We ran into delays with the previous project manager, however, Michael Jay took over as project manager and things have been moving very quickly since.Sposen has been very responsive under Michael Jay. If you are considering building in the Cape Coral, FL area, definitely consider using Sposen Homes.

Not a true custom home builder. They may do other things well enough, but do not go through the pain of designing your custom home here. I cut my losses after 8 months of wasted time and money.Their design process involved using a part time after hours architect and had no financial visibility until 7 months into it. All of this was worsened by poor communication at best and at worse unprofessionalism and poor customer service.
The staff at Sposen has been exceptional! Starting with our first contact when we initially inquired, Bob Eckdahl was quick to answer all questions we had about the model we decided on. He was very patient in getting us the right information and helping us find the right choices and upgrades for our new home.Mackenzie Risch who heads up the design team with Fildi is an A+++! Sposen really gives you a lot to choose from which is one of the reasons we choose them amongst many.We even had the opportunity to speak with Jeremey Sposato who leads all these great people in sharing his passion. Jeremey took time to make sure we had all of our questions answered and that we were comfortable with doing business with Sposen.Our last meeting was with our Construction Manager, John Conti Jr. and Michael Jay Jenkins knowledge of construction and eye for detail has made us feel comfortable in knowing that we don’t have to worry about Sposen building a superior home and doing the right thing. He is super personable as is the entire staff.Thank you to the Sposen Family for making us feel part of. We look forward to completion of our new home.
Sposen built a home for my family of 4 in 2018 and we have thoroughly enjoyed our home over ever since. Their quality and workmanship is much more than what you see with other builders in our area. I highly recommend them if you are seeking to build a new home.
Our home is currently being built and it has been a great experience. Sposen uses Buildertrend app which keeps us updated on the process. Everyone at Sposen has been pleasant and very helpful when we have questions. Our home is ahead of schedule and is looking great. Our construction manager Michael is the best. Today we had our Pre-Start Orientation meeting with Michael Jay, Construction Manager. Very knowledgeble, experienced, and customer oriented professional who answered all our questions and provided advice on the project related matters. We know that selecting Sposen Homes to build our house was the proper choice because of the professional individuals like Michael Jay on its team.
Updated- Bobby went above and beyond to have everything fixed. He is the one who earned this update. I still left off one star because I dont like how Michael Jay spoke to me more than once and I didnt really feel like we were valuable clients.** I waited too long to write this review but I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. The house is gorgeous because we upgraded a lot but there are multiple warranty items still not addressed and the communication is terrible (for the entire process). We have been in the house for 2 months and still dont have confirmation on when things will be fixed. Really disappointed.** 2nd update.They only wanted me to change my review. There are still issues that are unresolved and they don’t follow up.
Our realtor, Josh, tried very hard to find us our retirement house in Cape Coral last year. We reluctantly decided to build our own, worrying needlessly about construction stress. Glad she loved doing this; I never did. She processed our draw from Hyperion to Sposen.Brittany, account manager, obtained our builder insurance coverage for our financial protection which gave us much comfort. She also diligently processed our purchase orders, change orders and paid our project bills in a very timely fashion, which helped to minimizing our risk of potential liens on our property. Dan, CFO, offered payment options if needed.Melissa, Hyperion, was available at a savings to handles our property title closing, allocate our escrow funds to Sposen and make sure no liens are on our property. Our building funds were in good hands with her.Last but not least, Michael J, Construction Manager, professionally oversees & coordinates our and the other construction projects. Once being a CM myself, I truly appreciate his abilities, efforts & attention. He is always positive and responsive to my needs, text, emails and calls. His experience and excellent rapport with the sub-contractors maintains excellent working relationships which lead to high quality construction. He introduced me to Dave with FiLDi and Paul with Badger to name a few. With any building project, issue occurs and these are successfully being addressed. As a real estate broker, I have worked with many home builders over the years, servicing my clients. Sposen Signature Homes isnt your ordinary builder and has surpassed the highest levels of professionalism within the industry. My clients have all been very pleased with the ethics and hard working agents within SSH and the end result has always been a more than average home, built at a lower than average price for the quality of construction received. They are now my go to builder of choice and they seem to always be going above and beyond to improve themselves and their already fantastic product. I have a Sposen Home, and once it was completed, they stuck to their word and made sure everything was done right even during a pandemic! I would definitely purchase a Sposen home AGAIN! The quality is impeccable. I called them after the warranty was up, and they took care of the issues.

After spending a year looking for the perfect company to build my dream home, I made the best decision to go with Sposen Homes. The team at Sposen patiently walked me through every step. From making incredible suggestions with design and color options, to the final details down to the landscaping, everything was completed beyond my expectations.
The quality of the home looks great and we are excited to move in next week. They added 30k worth of upgrades for us which allowed us to put our own spin on the home. This was very important to us as we toured a bunch of homes and always disliked a couple things. We got the house we wanted with the upgrades we wanted. We did have some communication errors; partly our fault and partly theirs. However, the owner has addressed the issues and corrected the problems. He seems to truly care about the company and the customer which I was impressed by.
Sposen Homes provide everything that we asked of them and more. Once the initial lag of getting permits was completed the project proceeded quickly and without issues. Jeremy and Sara showed extreme concern on getting everything right the first time. If we had any questions or concerns they were always available and promptly returned all calls/emails/text. Furthermore, our town was hit with hurricane Irma in September and the only repair we had to make was to a screen on our pool cage that a branch went through.There was devastation all around us and our home was virtually untouched. It was a pleasure working with Sposen and I would highly recommend them if you are looking to build.
A great custom home at a great price. We have been visiting Florida regularly for 35 years and in 2017 decided to purchase a holiday home here.We enquired about a property for sale with Ellison Espinal an associate of Sposen Homes. It did not suit and Ellison showed us several more properties none of which quite fitted the bill. Ellison gave us all of the time we needed with absolutely no pressure. A smashing fellow!Ellison then suggested that we should consider building a new home and showed us some lots for sale one of which we agreed to buy.Ellison introduced us to the team at Sposen Signature Homes who showed us their various home styles. We chose the Oasis design which gave us the space we needed at a good price. The contracts were signed and the process began.The various members of the team spent a lot of time with us helping with our choices and upgrades, it was a very pleasant experience.Obviously there was apprehension sending large amouts of money overseas to a company we knew little about. We neednt have worried as all sums were held in escrow until all works at that particular stage were completed.We followed the process on line on our Builder Trend portal where progress reports and photographs were regularly uploaded. There were bumps in the road along the way but Sposen dealt with these without any argument.We flew over to take delivery of the house in May 2018 (works commenced in October 2017) and were shown over the house to make sure that everything was to our complete satisfaction before the property was handed over to us and the final draw taken.The house looks amazing and we are delighted with it. We were so impressed with the team that we did not get any other quotes for the build but when visiting in February we went around the Parade of Homes. We then compared build costs for simillar home and realised what a great deal we had got.A happy customer!

[1/15/20]-Owners brother was rude and dismissive during our first meeting.Im not a competitor, before their office personal tries to post a comment stating they never heard of me or have my name in their data base. That is a lie, Ive been to the office twice. Met with Dayron Valera(1st visit) and the owners brother (2nd visit).I plan to make another visit in the near future. I will update review after the outcome. Pricing is high averaging $166-174 per sq ft. Other builders are about $120-140 per sq ft. Which is more common.Update 1/28/20Ive met with Matthew and others in the office to discuss the concerns and issues I had from my previous visit. They really do take the reviews serious and make every attempt to clearly explain the concerns I had. They meet with me at in short notice. Matthew was awesome! Im really looking forward to possibly building with this builder. My only issue I have which is the reason for the 4 star review is pricing is higher then what I was told last month. The owner tried to explain that the increase in price as in labor and material cost has risen. Im in the construction industry and I do not believe this is accurate. Our deepest gratitude toward Jeremy and the whole crew at Sposen Signature Homes. Yesterday was one of the scariest days as my parents and their brand new home were facing a storm that could have left their home (and lives) in catastrophic ruins. Gratefully, while sheltering multiple family members we not only survived the storm, never lost power, but never even felt the strong winds and rain! If you want a home that they make tons a money on and hire cheap unprofessional sub contractors this is your place. Best advice don’t close till everything in paperwork is complete. You will have nothing but stress trying to get them to fix their errors. Im not a rival home builder lol. 2022-04-05One of the best home builders in Cape CoralThis review is my personal opinion. This is not a fake review – I am a real customer.If you are looking to build a home in Cape Coral area, Sposen should be at the top of your list to check out.We researched a lot of builders and are very experienced home buyers, and Sposen home designs and overall value was unbeatable.Structurally our home is very well built - solid, quiet inside, has all hurricane-proof windows and doors, and looks amazing from inside and outside. Another big advantage was that we were able to customize our colors and options – many builders do not allow change orders.Our house was very well designed – unique floor plan, awesome bathroom, and ceiling height – 10-12’ on average; all doors are 8’, and lots of modern lights – all was included in the price. Also, we did not have to finance the construction process – that was great.Our house is about 1.5 years new now, and everything looks just like on day one. The owner takes great pride in running this company and cares for the result, and I have a lot of respect for that! Everyone was very polite and patient with us and answered every question. They truly capture the essence of living in Florida: modern but with a tropical feel.Also, their real estate folks do a great job finding perfect lots on which to build. I think they strategically find the best lots for you: if it is on the water, most are at the long end of the canal, so you have the best view; if not on canal, most are corner lots which are highly desirable and add value to your home!

Construction was delayed due to material shortages but Carl W., Tom V. & Bobby C. have done everything in their power to ensure our home is completed ASAP. We are almost at the finish line and we are so happy we chose Sposen. They are the best - from their quality of work, to their materials and to their staff. They have been great at walking us through the process considering this is our first home. A special thanks to Bobby, Carl, & Tom for always being there to answer our questions, for being so patient with us, for making this such a great experience and simply for being the ABSOLUTE BEST - Sposen is lucky to have you. With all of the hold ups with building materials, they have been nothing short of wonderful when it comes to communicating and going the extra mile to make sure things move along as quickly as possible. From the time we started the building process and our initial meeting to our design session and now the construction phase, we have had a great experience. Every employee we have encountered has been extremely pleasant and helpful. Cant wait to see the beautiful finished product!

2022-02-25My wife and I are currently building a home with Sposen. Our build had been at a standstill due to unforeseen construction issues. Since Michael Jay took over as our construction manager, construction is moving along much faster. Michael Jay has been the consummate professional and extremely knowledgeable. Cant wait to get the keys to our home. I wish all construction managers were like Michael.

2022-01-29They have serious construction management issues that led to multiple errors and rework on our home. They were incapable of meeting any of their schedule timings. They have disappointing and humiliating customer communication and relationship practices. They are absolutely not transparent when issues occur and often blamed subcontractors, their own previously employed construction Managers, and the customer. Their behaviors and lack of communication to and oversight of their subcontractors led to many occurrences of rework, delayed progress and cost overages for us in the construction of our home. There is no way we would recommend this company to anyone; especially given the interactions and issues we have had with their leader and construction management manager.

2021-06-02Our home currently being built by Sposen Homes had been delayed lately due to some unforeseen construction problems. Fortunately, since a new constitution manager, Michael Jay is assigned to our project, things are moving fast again.Thanks to Michael’s proactive actions, we should be moving into our dream home in less than a month.We are glad we chose Sposen Homes to built our new home and highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a home.
