Unfortunately, I have had numerous situations arise over the last 4 years that required the assistance of a family law attorney.The first time I met with Justin I was pregnant and afraid. He assured me that he would do everything he could to help me and I believed him. He’s helped me through a paternity action, child support, an injunction, and most recently, out of state relocation. Justin and Courtney worked tirelessly to make sure all correct steps were taken and had open communication through each process.Because of his proven history helping fathers, I considered hiring a female attorney for my most recent case. Ultimately, I decided to hire Justin and his team again because I knew no one would care about me the way they do. I was right. Justin put everything he had into my last two hearings. I have zero regrets after hiring Mr. Rickman and his team. He is very professional and experienced. I was so thankful to be referred to Mr. Rickman after being pulled over for a wrongful D.U.I. Luckily, Mr. Rickman was very knowledgeable about the law and what needed to be done on my behalf. He was also very informed on the specifics of what a D.U.I. case entails. I moved to another county mid trial and he was very easy to work with as far as phone conferences and emails. I would not rate anything less than a five!I went to Rickman Law Firm for legal counsel concerning a felony charge. Justin Rickman immediately put our mind at ease with his answers. He didn’t promise more than he could deliver and was honest with what he felt could be done. I will try to make this as brief and as concise as I possibly can so I can accurately describe my experience with Mr. Rickman and his office/team. Years ago I was a lost and troubled young man who made all of the wrong decisions in my young life and chose a path that was not becoming of any respectable young man. To make a very long, sad story short, I ended up a pathetic and useless addict who continued to make poor choices and landed in jail at the ripe young age of 26 years old.This was the culmination of years of self-destructive behavior. It was then that I made the decision to get myself real legitimate help and go to a recovery/rehab facility and, while making the conscious decision to change my life, also decided to take responsibility and accountability for my own words, behaviors, actions, and decisions. Thats when I contacted the Law Offices of Justin Rickman. He came in and met with me while incarcerated, heard my story, obtained all the evidence, and then made his own inference of the truth and then got to work. Without dragging this on and going into a long drawn out speech, Mr. Rickman was professional, courteous, prompt, punctual, assertive and fair. Fast forward 5 years later. I am a grateful addict in long-term recovery (have been clean and sober ever since - 2015). Not only did Mr. Rickmans service help me redeem myself and take care of very important matters that would have easily continued to drag me down, but he genuinely gave me a second chance at a real life. A chance to recover and be an upstanding member of society. A chance to learn, grow and become a good man and have a family of my own. A chance to be present for my friends and family. And finally, allowed me to move on with my life without having to carry around certain labels or convictions related to a time in my life that now seems like a distant dream. At any rate, the bottom line is that very little of this would have been possible without Justin Rickman. I also would like to add that I recently (last week) had a situation that involved me needing to contact Mr. Rickman to get some clarity on some things from our case way back when. Not only did he take my call despite the troubling times in our country right now, but went above and beyond to find my case information and even remembered the case (and myself) specifically after reviewing a small portion of the notes and speaking with me. After 5 years of having absolutely no contact and, Im sure, hundreds of other cases between then and now, remembered who I was, my case, the circumstances and, after reviewing the notes, remembered vivid details that most would have easily forgotten or bypassed. Without being obligated or required to (or being paid) he made sure to provide all necessary and relevant information to my situation. If that doesnt describe personal, professional service that goes above and beyond the initial job duties, I dont know what does. I would recommend Mr. Rickman over and over and over again and would absolutely provide more than 5 stars if it were possible.

Where do I start....From the first, “Relax brother, I’ve got this” to the last, “Relax brother, I’ve got this”, Justin Rickman handled my case like I was family.He listened which most of the attorneys I have dealt with during my professional business life did not. I had a terrible experience. I cannot give a negative score. Spent a ton of money for terrible service. I worked closely with the paralegal via email to exchange documents (charged for that) and then was charged for Justin to review those emails. Yet nothing was really accomplished on my case and I had to spend time repeating myself to him about my case wasting more money, all of my retainer was gone very quickly. Look elsewhere, he prefers the higher paying accident cases and will not be invested in your family case!

Stay away from Justin for family law!!!! He will nickel and dime you and never do a thing. Five months and $5500 and he never once filed a motion on my behalf. To top if off the day before my mediation I had already spent $4000 with him and he told me he didnt even know anything about my case. $600 for him to review what he had already charged me to review and no results. He is a CROOK, plain and simple

Worst experience I have ever had regarding an attorney. Paid over 5000.00 for someone to read emails and go to court to get my ex more stuff than actually fight for what I wanted done. I wouldnt recommend this office to anyone if I could give a negative score I would. Very shady people and have the nerve to get angry at the client when the attorney doesnt do what he is being paid for and gets called out on it. Stay away from this office.
