I would NOT recommend the Law offices of Stephen Hachey. Once payment is received to handle the case, the attorneys and assistants became unresponsive and a very straight forward case. Attorneys doesnt seem to care of their clients interest or to get the case resolved unless you continue to offer more money to purse the case further.
We sent a contract over on a house to be build for us. The following day we had a phone call with Stephen Hachey; he in seconds told us about the pitfalls of this contract and flat out advised us to walk away from the project. We were quite surprised, but so very thankful for his advice. We liked his open and honest style. We will for sure use him again soon when we buy another (already build house).
Just like many other people, Ive worked with countless companies in the past, and quite a few law firms as well. The level of responsiveness, understanding, and professionalism that I was shown from Ana is bar none the best that Ive been offered. Period. Even with Covid being so prevalent today, and almost everyone working remote, she kept me in the loop on all the updates that were occuring and was always available when I had questions of my own. Mr. Hachey and his office staff were a pleasure to work with. We hired them for a quiet title and quitclaim and the process was seamless. Mr. Hachey outlined the process and answered any questions we had in the beginning and the staff kept us updated regularly during our case and were always prompt to respond with answers to any questions. While waiting on them to call me back I decided to do a Google search and immediately found Steve Hachey and looked through his (19) 5 Star reviews and while not knowing him those reviews did give me comfort! We were under a time crunch to get the lease signed and I reached out to his office immediately and spoke to Tammy and she said he could speak with us that same day, that alone eased my stress! My husband and I emailed him the lease, set up a time to speak and THE BEST part for us was he gave us a choice of speaking that same evening at 8 or 8:30 p.m. or the next morning I opted for the 8:30 p.m. That alone is HUGE to get an Attorney to get your questions answered on the same day so that you can have peace of mind! Again having been in this industry a decade plus to have an Attorney to speak with you the same day and at the end of business, into the evening hours is RARE! Because of this level of Customer Service and Care he immediately went into my phone as our resource for ALL things Real Estate Related! During that conversation he gave us a few things he thought that we should have further clarification on before we signed the lease - another plus! Before we hung up with him his last words he said to us touched me, he said: Welcome to Florida what a wonderful way to start our new chapter and new journey in Florida with Steve Hachey watching out for our families best interest! Ive sought the council of Stephen K. Hachey twice now for matters pertaining to residential real estate purchases. Stephen is prompt to respond and has provided sound guidance, saving me a considerable amount of money in each transaction. I would definitely recommend engaging his office before considering to negotiate with troublesome real estate agents or title companys in Tampa.

This sleez ball, posted my familys property on Zillo dot com without our permission. He NEVER came into contact with us, we never went into a verbal nor written agreement with us. He simply saw our property and listed it. This man is a carbon copy of a snake oil sales man and a fraud. He refused to correct or modify that listing under his name. This man is a cheat and a fraud.
I worked with Attorney Stephen Hachey and his assistant, Donna Hubbard, on a short sale. The benefit was to hire an attorney that also knew the market as a relator. While we received excellent legal advice, after 2 years of the house being on the market and going through multiple potential buyers, the bank never agreed to any of the offers. We were thankful to eventually receive an offer from the bank, extending the opportunity to modify our current loan and it helped us keep ownership of the property. Although the short sale didnt work out, we believe everything turned out exactly the way God intended it to.

My experience in buying a home in Florida felt like buyer beware / as is, no warranties throughout the entire process. Stephens knowledge of title insurance and closing processes was equivalent to having a safety net as the buyers closing company operated in a very loose, turn and burn, sign this now fashion and without Stephens oversight, my title insurance would have been worthless. Even though they couldnt take my particular case they were timely with responses and gave me time to work through some questions. They also referred me to other areas that could help as well.
When you need answers before buying property . time is of the essence... Just cause someone claims a mixed use dont mean it is. Not everything glittery is gold.

2022-06-02I recently had to evict a long term boyfriend from my home. I was not sure where to turn, I turned to google and came up more than once with this law office. A warm and kind voice came over the phone. Her name was Mary Jo and she gave me a sympathetic ear and much needed advice/information to start my process. Ii was helpful and has worked out and I cannot thank the office enough.

2022-04-04I contacted Mr. Hacheys office several weeks ago. The woman who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. I explained the nature of my call and request to which she responded that was something they could do in a relatively quick manner. She sent the link for the appropriate paperwork and on-line payment. Upon completing the paperwork, I had one question (regarding the form) and filled out their on-line contact request with my contact information. I (then) sent both the paperwork, payment and question to their attention. Nobody from the office ever contacted me. However, they did process our payment. More than 2 weeks pass, and I have yet to receive a status quo or follow up call from this office. I sent another email note. Still no response, so I placed a live call. Someone finally contacted me, a woman who had the personality of a cold fish in an Alaskan river. In her conversation with me, I am provided the following excuses ... She was on vacation and just received our request (they took payment 2 weeks ago), she is trying to re-enter after vacation (?), the person who took my request is no longer with them ... but, she then explains she going to talk to that person to ensure they understand services they can and cannot perform (huh?) and finally ... they will process a refund. What kind of law firm is this? Clearly a lack of communication, follow-up and (lastly) a person who is void of any polish or personality to deal with the public. Typically, I dont leave negative reviews, preferring to focus on the positive versus the negative. However, based upon my personal experience, I would not recommend this law firm.

Great trick how they create these great surveys to hide all the others exposing the fraud coming out of this law firm. Just read them for yourself, thank god for the sort button.....this Hachey is something else. I have found a couple of you on face book and as I explained to both of you...If I dont get reimbursed by June 15th, I will keep my word to you on how we will move forward to expose the fraud. 2021-10-28This firm did a fantastic job in helping us draft and file a Quit Claim Deed. Noelia was extremely helpful and always responded quickly to my emails. I live in WI and I needed to quit claim a parcel of land in FL in order to move forward on a sale to another party. The Hachey Law Office was outstanding from start to finish and I found their fees to be reasonable. I would highly recommend this firm.

2020-04-29I reached out to Stephen Hachey who has provided documentation preparation and consultation for us previously on real estate matters. I sent an email and got a call almost immediately offering me flexible times and urgency for a time sensitive matter. Stephen called me at the scheduled time, had reviewed my email, clarified language that was going to be confusing if not corrected, and offered actionable advice. When I asked for a rate and timeline if I pursued the matter, he was clear in both (as much as he can be as the courts are currently closed). He was thorough, listened, and offered advice that I trust. It was another great experience with his office staff and with Stephen Hachey. Highly recommend.
