This is a great location at the north end of Anna Maria. It is about a > 5-minute walk to the beach and is near the public access points. There are plenty of towels and beach toys/chairs at the house. The pool is small but enjoyable. You are here to go to the beach so who cares, the children loved the pool anyway. Rod n Reel is a short walk away. The Doughnut Experience and Two Scoops icecream are also recommended.If you plan on cooking there is no salt/butter/coffee etc. There is a Publix nearby though. Plenty of dishes and pots and such provided. The house was very nice and accommodating for our family of 5. I would rent it again for sure. Thank you.
This was our first experience with this company. We had always worked with Anna Maria Island Accommodations just down the street a block. If I were to compare the two offices, this one would be a one or two star; but they did their job in an adequate manner. They were not extremely helpful, not very friendly, and poorly staffed; but when a problem occurred at the rental house, the service was able to correct it quickly. I must say that the house that we rented was just outstanding, although it was the second day that we received our full complement of linens. That must have been due to some maintenance problems with the house, since the house was not ready until 4:45. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would rent 619 Rose Ave again. Thank you.
My partner booked a holiday rental through Vacasa; never again. We experienced several issues with two holiday rentals from a dirty poo that they knew about two days before our stay to problems with air conditioning and wifi. The standard of their customer service was very poor.
Most coolest, cutest, beachy homes available. Spectacular views, clean homes. Would definitely recommend staying with vacasa. Service is way above and beyond
Dear Management Company,My husband I have stayed at Palm Isle five times over the last three years. Is there any particular reason why you are letting such a pretty place run down so? Youve done very little maintenance since April. I would like to contact the owners personally to let them know about your neglect. I would assume the owners have put the faith of their investment in your hands and pay a nice little fee for your services. My husband and I are staying in unit 3207. We took a sisters trip to Anna Maria island and stayed in a beautiful condo right on the beach! We rented bicycles and rode everywhere. Coquina Beach was our favorite beach. The colors in the water compared to what we saw in Mexico, Jamaica, and Caribbean islands. We had seafood every night and they were all so good we couldnt pick our favorite. Anna Maria is a wonderful little town with quaint shops and restaurants. We would give it an A+.
We stayed at 703 South Bay Blvd this past weekend .Holy Mackerel what a beautiful place!! Outstanding Experience. Pool was perfect, we fished off the dock and really loved the outdoor kitchen. My Family and I will be back again for sure!! 10 Stars !
Wish I had read reviews sooner. Will Never use a home by Vacasa again! First we recieved the home 30 min later than the email stated. We have been here 5 days and 2 of 5 problems with the home has not been resolved. Not including the dust and cob webs hanging.
They cancelled our reservation the day before we arrived on spring break with our family of five, could not help find another location so were completely stuck. Unhelpful, would not recommend. Booked through VRBO.
Easy to deal with. No issue was to small for them. We are both ex Army and take things in our stride. We put up with broken aircon for a few days due to Hurricane Hermine as we figured they would have bigger issues. As soon as we told them they checked it out and moved us. Hope to return next year.
Great location right on the beach. Pet friendly, central location.Very clean and ready for early check in. We will be back!
Dishonesties company in the world. Book true them house 48 hours before check in they cancel in and not even say sorry or issues refund they STOLE MY MONEY.
It was an incredible place for our first visit to Anna Maria...it for our needs, close to the beach, pool was great, and perfect for our family of five...we will be back.

2021-07-24I am writing as a home owner on Anna Maria Island for over 13 years. Anna Maria is a wonderful residential community (even if not as residential as it use to be). I love Anna Maria. I am giving the rental property management company of Vacasa a 1 star. This particular property management company which operates a home next door to my residential property, is extremely unresponsive to residential property owners requests for any response to a complaint regarding their property management. I notified Vacasa management of an issue with one of their properties they manage with several phone contacts and assurance from a representative that the manager on duty would respond with a contact to myself. This did not occur over the period they stated it would.This is not the first call to identify a problem with their rental property (next door) with no response over the time this property has been managed by Vacasa property management. This is unacceptable for a management company who talks that the residents in the neighborhood are important to them. Clearly, their profits are more important than the communities in which they operate.If they cant respond to the next door residential owner of a property who observes problems with their property they manage, what kind of property are perspective renters getting into? All I can say, is renter or property owner, BEWARE.

2021-05-29Upon arriving at our rental near Pine Avenue at 10 pm, we saw bugs in kitchen, on and in furniture. Called Vacasa, spoke with answering service (very kind). She took all information, asked for email with pictures, responded that she recieved email and pics. She contacted local agent while I was on hold. No reply from agent. She then put through a ticket to Vacasa and assured us that someone would get back to us that night with alternative sleeping accomodations. No call back. We then proceeded to relatives house and slept on floor and sofa. Very disappointed that no one contacted us. I called Vacasa and asked for refund and compensation for inconvenience. Reply was refund and 25% discount on next rental! No way would we use their agency again.

2019-04-03I hesitate to share my review of this home on AMI as I don’t want the secret to get out! This was our second stay at Wine Down and we love this home. Well appointed interiors and outdoor spaces lend to a beautiful, comfortable home away from home. The master suite overlooks the pristine beach and gulf. Beds, bathrooms, furnishings are comfy and spacious. They maintain the property well which is often missing in rental homes. Best of all, you are 25 steps to a perfect sand beach and the lull of the ocean.

2017-01-09We rented Time for the Sea home at Christmas 2016 and had a blast! The rental company was easy to deal with and I liked the portal they provide you with. The home was comfortable and had a wonderful outdoor space with a heated pool and hot tub! The decor of the house was fun and beachy! Our only cons were that the kitchen could be stocked a little better (scraped up non-stick skillet, no serving dishes, no seasonings at all) and the front queen bed was super uncomfortable for the couple who stayed in there (they bought an air mattress mid-stay). Even with these things, we are already looking forward to our return!

2018-03-20We had rented for years with Island Vacation Rentals and been very happy. Now that Vacasa has taken over, everything has changed dramatically. As the current renter, you are not given a chance to re-book the property you are in. We went in to the office a few days after arriving and tried to re-book for 2019. We were informed that it had already been rented since they are now international. What does that have to do with it? We asked them to look for similar properties and, two weeks later, we havent heard a word from them. Trying to get in touch with them and get repairs done is near to impossible. You could wait hours, a day or a few days. As we have heard from many on Anna Maria Island, people are very disappointed and taking their business elsewhere in the future. Property owners are also looking to list their properties with other agencies. Vacasa really missed the boat when they decided not to honor the people who are currently renting the unit.

2020-01-08Its a wonderful company I applied to work there, they went with another direction with the choice, and as much as Id liked to have worked there I still like, and appreciate this company. I also would gladly apply again. On the note of their buisness the rentals are nice, the staff is bomb, and will do everything in their power to accommodate you for any inconvenience that may or may not arise. My boyfriend Tristan works there. He, and any one of his coworkers will be glad to help you pick the best rental for your happy trip.

2018-07-17This home is in a great location, short walk to the beach and close to the trolley stops as well. One of the bedrooms has a completely separate entrance and to get to the main part of the home you must go outside and up stairs. This worked for us because we have teenagers. We let them sleep upstairs and downstairs was our parent suite. The home was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The only negative to me was the outside needed a little attention. The awning over the carport was torn badly. Other than that, it was a great place for us to stay and we really enjoyed it.

2020-06-08We booked a vacation with multiple family members with Vacasa. Realizing the house we booked would not work for our family after all, we canceled within the 24 hour allowable time period. It has Now been over 2 weeks and we still have not received our money back that was initially paid for this trip. We have tried multiple times to get a customer service representative on the phone. Each time there’s a recording to let us know that hold times are approximately 2 hours. We held for almost 2 1/2 hours one night hoping to get it resolved. This has yet to be resolved. Very disappointed and will not be booking with this site again in the future.

2018-06-28This was the second time we have stayed at Sugar Plum West and we love it. There is plenty of room for a family and only steps to the ocean. And if you prefer a pool, this one is lovely. There have been several upgrades to the property recently, in very good taste too. You are also close to the center of Anna Maria for great restaurants.
