We just left Valencia Bonita. Fabulous place. Had too drag my husband in and he came out wanting to buy. We live in a very nice place, but this was a very uplifting place. People were not all over you. I️ liked walking at our own pace. If we buy soon this will be the place. Entrance has that WOW factor. Just an over all great place.
On Sept 25 at about 2:00 P.M. we visited the sales office at Valencia in Bonita Springs. My wife Daughter and I are exploring the availability of new homes in the area, We have visited approximately 10 developments in the mediate area and have been very satisfied with the representation of the greeting agents at all the locations, with the one and only exception being Valencia.Upon arriving we entered the sales office where no one was around, after waiting for about 5 minutes we could see some of the floor maps on the wall behind the entrance and so proceeded in. As we were walking in we were stopped by a woman who said tur around you cant come in without signing in somewhat rude manner, she than told me that without a mask I would not be able to go in. Perhaps a could you please wear a mask while in our facilities would have set a more pleasant atmosphere. We returned to the front of the office where she proceeded to interrogate us, I do not use this term often but it fits. she asked what it was that we wanted, we stated that we wanted to look at the models to what she answered that we needed an agent. We agreed to talk to an agent, however and she said she needed information, my daughter provided her with her name and than she wanted the names of every one, at that time we asked if that was necessary to simply look at the models begrudgingly she said ok but continued to demand, again that was the tone of the request, phone numbers emails, addresses etc.We than aske if we could have a brochure, she said we could not, we asked what the staring prices were, she would not provide any.She allowed us to go into the models and on the way out we found an empty office with the same woman who did not offer to call an agent simply said good by.If this company had tried to make a worst first impression it would have been hard, if this is the first impresion what will customer service, construction and follow up will be?????.Needless to say we left and do not intend to be back.
Went there just to look around , see whats going on around the area and found like 6 new communities and to be honest , Valencia is nice and we did loved the Amenities, but the houses are built like Trailers in a very small narrow lot , reason why when you look at the houses they look bigger, but they arent...they are just long and skinny, like a trailer....i know a little bit of real estate and i think those lots are like 5500/6000 total square feet....the space between most houses is not even the basic 15/20 feet , its like 8/10 feet....GL made 1000 homes in 347 acres, but only used about 180 acres for the homes at a .15 to .18 acre which is absolutely nothing.......but again, the amenities are one of the best ive seen in a long time
We are building a home at Velencia Bonita..the experience to date has been outstanding..from the no pressure sales agent Mary, great floor plan, great standard options to select, a fun option selection process that you are guided through..our contact, Lisa, was amazing..knowledgeable,efficient and fun, we just had our pre drywall walk through with our project engineer, Chis, and now even more excited about the quality of GL’s workmanship and working with Chris through completion of the house. Can’t say enough about how terrific all the people have been at GL..

2020-09-18This 55 and over community is new and really nice. The staff here is excellent, very attentive to resident requests, very professional, top notch people. Homes are selling like crazy here, so a lot of people feel the same way as I do. Cant say enough good things about the community.

2018-05-30Beautiful 55+ community by GL Homes located in Bonita Springs, FL. Huge 45,000 Sq. Ft. resort style clubhouse surrounded by single family homes and villas. 4 miles from I-75 on Bonita Beach Road. Take your Realtor on your first visit to the builder or lose your right to Realtor representation. Remember, sellers pay buyers broker compensation so dont go alone.

2021-03-31Lovely pool area and a very fine restaurant. No breakfast services, tho, and no restaurant nearby to get breakfast. Interiors of models had good layouts with very nice kitchens and baths, but all gray does not appeal! Also, garage doors all facing the front makes for a very boring landscape. Lakes are too narrow as you can see directly into the house across from you, especially at night. We dont like loud music at the pool and would prefer no music at all. Monthly fees are outrageously high as are property taxes. But, thanks for the opportunity to stay and play.

2021-02-15Valentine’s Special dinner last night offered a very creative menu with nice touches such as a long stem rose and complimentary champagne for two. Lollipop lamb chops and the mushroom risotto was excellent as was the lobster bisque. My lemon mousse was a first and was the perfect pairing for a romantic dinner on our lanai!
