Vets Roofing is a great company to do business with for roof inspection and repair. I reached out to Rich and his team and they responded quickly, and professionally handled the entire process. Once I made my initial claim, his team handled everything else. Awesome Company!!! Richard & Warren were great at installing my new roof. It could not have gone any smoother. They did it in a great timeframe at an excellent price. Its too bad they only allow five stars, because this company deserves many more.This is the second time we needed repairs to our roof. The first time was right after we bought the house and the insurance inspector found a problem and gave us 30 days get it fixed or they were going to cancel our coverage. We had just moved to Florida and didnt know anyone, let alone a roofing contractor. So....I did a search, read reviews and picked Vets Roofing, because of the great reviews. We were beyond satisfied with the way Richard handled our problem and made sure it was fixed within the time limits.Almost exactly one year later, the insurance company raised our rates 30%, due to the age/condition of the roof and said we needed to replace the entire roof. We never considered any other company. We called Richard/ Vets Roofing and, just as before, he came through for us.Richard was very transparent about the work to be done, potential issues, timetables, materials and the cost, so we had no reservation about signing a contract for his company to replace the roof.As before, the job was meticulous, finished on time and without any surprises. When the city inspector came out, he commented on the quality of workmanship and attention to detail.Hopefully, we will not need any more work on this roof for many, many years. But, if we do, we will not settle for anyone other than Vets Roofing.If youre looking for a reputable, reliable, reasonable and respectful company, look no further than Vets Roofing.
Vet’s roofing replaced our wind damaged roof on 10/07/2020. They showed up on time and the crews were very professional and fast. North Port inspector stated that it was the best roofing job he had seen in years. The finished roof looked fantastic and when they left the mess was totally cleaned up.They took the time to walk us through the process and both crews and management were on site everyday.I would recommend this company without reservation. When dealing with contractors in SW Florida it could be a dice roll. Cant thank Richard and his crew enough for the professional job we received. They came highly recommended to me and right from first contact you could see why. Within the first 24 hours of contacting them, we had an estimate, a list of top quality shingles to make our choice from (re-roof) and a promise to do our job within two weeks. Every follow up question we had was met with a professional, same day response. Once we decided to go forward, our shingles were delivered in only days and the job was completed in one day, soon afterward. Having an old roof removed concerned me that there would be lots of debris and nails around my property afterward, but the crew made several rounds with magnets for the nails and picked up very thoroughly, including paper and plastic that had ended up in our landscaping. The owner of the company even showed up after all crew and equipment had left and inspected the grounds around the house to assure they had satisfied his criteria.Needless to say, I am very pleased and would highly recommend Vets Roofing. A good feeling to have supported a veteran owned company and gotten first class service.
Vets roofing company is the best hands down I havent seen a company come in and do the job so fast and very professional I did not find one piece of trash on my lawn or not 1 nail on my lawn as well I would recommend this company
These guys were awesome to work with. Very helpful and considerate. Without them, we wouldnt have been able to get a new roof. They are the go to guys if you need a new roof. Im not one to write on-line reviews but in this case I believe it is well worth it. You always hear dont go with the lowest bid but in Vets Roofing case I went against the advise and not regretting it. Vets Roofing is the exception to the rule.Richard and his crew were always professional. They kept a clean work area, were attentive to details, ensured everything was competed to code. Richard kept me updated on the status of the job. They did the tear off and placed the peel and stick one day and it rained hard the next day. Not one leak and the shingles werent even on yet.Richard even fixed a couple of pieces of fascia siding that was unrelated to the roofing job.Vets Roofing completed a quality job that can be compared to or exceeds the larger better known roofing companies. If youre looking for a roofing company, get your estimate comparisons and then choose Vets Roofing.
Props to Rich, Justin and crew. They replaced my roof doing exactly what they said they would do. They were there when promised and cleaned up at the end of each day. One day to tear off the old and one day to install the new. Follow up and communication were excellent. Hopefully, I wont need a new roof any time soon, but, if anyone asks, Vets is definitely my roofing company. Thank you for a great job!

We just moved to Cape Coral and bought a house. The home inspector said the roof was fine. After we closed on the house, we were notified by our insurance company they found damage on roof, which had to be repaired ASAP, or they would cancel our policy.We didnt know anyone down here, so I relied on a Google search and reviews to find a roofing company. Thats how I found Vets Roofing.I left a message on a Friday evening, and the owner (Rich) called me back that Sunday. I explained the situation and he agreed to meet with me that afternoon to look at the roof.He was at the house on time, showed me where the problem areas were, gave me a ballpark estimate, and assured me it would be repaired in time.He sent a formal estimate, which was basically the same price, and I gave him the green light.He, and Alex/Alec met me there this morning and they had everything done by mid-afternoon.The repairs look great, the skylight he replaced is excellent, and his price was more than reasonable.You simply cant find a a more reliable, professional and fairly priced roofing company.On top of that, Rich is a veteran and treats other vets with exceptional respect.If I could give more stars, I would.

Cant say enough Vets Roofing is truly a upstanding and truthful company!! We had several quotes from other companies, and actually had chose another company but that company was just giving us a run around. My husband called Vets roofing and Rich came by gave a quote and explained what needed to be done and a date that he would be able to start, we were sold. They actually showed up a couple of days early and did an outstanding job. I would recommend Vets every day of the week you will not regret your choice with them.
Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Needed some roof repairs post hurricane. I knew my roof is due for replacement in a few years, I explained I could not afford that yet and could he repair the older roof to last a couple of summers. He did a great job putting in a repair on a roughly 10 Sq foot area over older somewhat brittle asphalt tiles. That was about 6 months ago and repaired are is still good. Great job! Thanks!

I called around to 4 or 5 roofing companies to do a repair on my roof. VETS roofing called back a few hours later. After explaining the issue, he was literally at my house within the hour. Before I even got home from work he had quoted me a surprisingly low quote and said it would be done within the next 2 days. Now, as a veteran I believe in taking care of other vets, but this company goes above and beyond! I actually felt like I was underpaying them for the work being done. Even more impressive but the owner was the one at my house to do the repairs and get my roof ready for our house to sell! If your going to have work done, I would call these guys back EVERY TIME!

They went above and beyond.Our Roof was leaking we called Richard at 8 pm to see if he could come out the next day to tarp.To our surprise he said he would stop for supplies and be right out.We had just gotten our quote a few days before, we immediately signed to have him do our repair. If I could give them a 10 star review on this site I would.This company did an outstanding job.
We were referred to Richard Chmielinski of Vets Roofing Inc back in 2005 after the damage that was done to our roof from Hurricane Wilma, and along with wear and tear. Rich recommended that we have our flat-deck done as well, but we chose to only have the main roof re-shingled. Here it is 2018, and the roof is still holding strong, except for our flat deck. When it came time to have our flat deck done, we didnt even think twice on who we should call. We were very impressed with Rich and his crew for their professionalism, timeliness, courteous and honesty. The Building Inspector also commented on the final product, and said his work far exceeded anything he had seen before. We HIGHLY recommend Vets Roofing. Thank you Vets Roofing

Rich may have a tough name to spell, but he certainly doesnt have touch prices for customers. Jokes aside, I called Rich of Vets Roofing after experiencing a leak in my roof and dealing with several other companies trying to price gouge, and or sell me a whole new roof. Rich gave me an unbelievable price for the repair, crushed the other quotes given to me for a complete replacement, and shattered the you get what you pay for idea. While its usually true, the effort and professionalism that Rich and his guys put into their work is second to none.Two Key Points...-I suggested we just replace my roof, Rich told me to take the money and invest it, the current roof has at least a few good years left. (He really looks out for his clients best interests)-To complete the repair, Rich had to make a few unexpected trips, and he did not change more than the initial quote that he gave.I might also mention, I am a local business owner and member of local Chambers of commerce. If I take the time to say that somebody if great, you better believe they are second to none.

My roof started leaking after a micro burst in late December and it got worse with the recent heavy rains. I googled highly rated roofers in the area and I lucked upon Vets. I called with the expectation that theyd schedule a service call a few days later but was I wrong. I talked to Rich and, although he had a commitment that day, he promised to be at my house after that. 2 hours later hes at my door and then on my roof. I thought he was going up there to assess the situation and give me the bad news but he actually went up there and fixed the problem. I came out and watched him because he was gone longer than I expected for a repair quote. He was up there for a 1/2 hour and fixed some flashing and lifted shingles in the area of the leak. He came down and said he thought he fixed the problem but refused to accept payment because he couldnt guarantee the repair with certainty.Its rained for much of the last 24 hours and I can say with certainty that Rich did indeed fix the leak because water wasnt dripping through the ceiling onto our dining room table like it was before the fix. The funny thing is that if the roof were still leaking, Im pretty sure hed be back up there tomorrow because failure doesnt seem to be an option with these guys.Pretty refreshing to deal with a business that takes an old school approach to business and service.

I had a leak on my roof, it was caused by the TV antenna mounting bracket so i called a few roofing companies for quotes, they wanted to charge me enough money to put a down payment on a whole new roof!! [only needed a 4x8 section repaired.} so I said to myself I will repair it myself right...so I went to Sandy Land Shingles to pick up some for the job, WOW MY LUCKY DAY!! i met Richard and Alex these two gentleman had VETS ROOFING,INC. on their T shirts and asked them if they did small roof repairs, they said yes and came to my house within 2 hrs, gave me a truly fair price and two days later the job was done!If you need any roofing job done this is the one for YOU! they both are very professional and detailed in their work.

I would only recommend to use Vets roofing and don’t bother calling any other company for roof problems or skylight probloms. Rich always gives a fair price and shows up when he says he is going to show up. His work is top notch and will not rip you off by trying to fix things that do not need to be fixed. He is a man of his word and always honest, unlike most home repair companies I have dealt with in the past.

2022-03-18The quality of workmanship by Vets is superb. Richards guidance throughout the process showed how valuable his roofing experience was for us. His attention to detail, and his burning desire to make sure everything is perfect, is a testament to his credibility. He made sure we were happy with his crews performance each step of the way. It has been many, many years since I have experienced a contractor perform to what is proposed, both in writing and verbally. No BS, no lies. Their specifications cited in the contract were also superior to other quotes received, and Vets performed exactly to those specifications. I highly recommend this company.

2022-03-31I looked and high and low for a quality roofer for my rental properties. I found Rich and boy was I glad I did! He provided excellent customer service, constant communication with progress reports, quality work (second to none) and he was always present to personally inspect the work himself. It doesnt get any better than that! On top of that, he quoted using the best roofing materials and still had the best price. As a bonus, I was happy to use a veteran owned company!

2022-04-12We have large two story home with metal roofing that is 20 years old. The screw heads were pushing up and the vents flashing was failing. Vets roofing was the only honest roofer that did not try to up sell me on a new roof rather he described what maintenance and rescrewing would do for the integrity and life of the roof. I contracted with them to do the work. Communications were great Richard always kept us updated on the timing and when complete he and his crew made sure the property looked better when they arrived ! Would definitely hire them again and I highly recommend them

There was no pressure to sign a contract after a thorough roof inspection, and Rick took the time to explain what the job would entail. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family.

2022-03-28This company removed and replaced our roof in a very timely manner. Richard was great about going around on the property after they were done, to make sure everything was cleaned up, and also made sure that all nails were picked up off the ground. The finished roof looks amazing.

2021-12-15After recently noticing some broken/loose tiles on our roof we started reaching out to roofing companies for repair estimates. No one seemed interested until we found Vets Roofing. The owner Rich came out incredibly fast to evaluate the damage and sent pictures of everything to us before, during, and after the repair. Current issues with our roof were explained and they told us what potential future problems to be on the lookout for. He was even able to track down our now discontinued tile in order to give us a perfect match. Saying they went above and beyond doesnt even come close. We never expected such a fast, professional, and personal experience. Five stars doesnt do it justice, we cant recommend them highly enough!

2020-05-18Richard and his crew did a very good job finishing the job I started on my re-roof. The job turned out to be too big for one person and Richard came out the same day and gave me the most reasonable quote I had received. More importantly we agreed on the products he wanted to use. There was a lead time of a few weeks but he made sure the roof was protected in the meantime and the job was finished surprisingly quickly, less than a week and a half including waiting for inspections. Youll be hard pressed to find another company as honest and reliable as Richards.

2021-02-17As a Widow, I find myself apprehensive when it comes to knowing who to trust when having to make a large purchase or repair. I was notified by my insurance company that my roof needed to be replaced. Being a big supporter of our Veterans, I chose Vets Roofing along with 2 other well known Companies for Estimates. Warren from Vets Roofing came over. He was very knowledgeable and respectful, showed me pictures of my roof, with no sales pitch or pressure, which I liked. I did end up having the other two companies come over for estimates, but no one compared to Warren from Vets Roofing. Vets Roofing walked me through the whole process with my Insurance Company. Rich, the owner, was right there too, hands on and overseeing when the roof was being replaced. They delivered what they had promised! Believe me, you can trust that what they tell you will be done with Professionalism, Integrity, Honesty, good quality materials and on time, as promised!Another Service that I liked is, they’ll come and inspect my roof after storms, FREE OF CHARGE.
