Kim at Vitis Realty is the best realtor around! When my husband and I contacted her as first-time home buyers, she gave us everything we needed to get started. Once we were prepared to start making offers, Kim worked relentlessly to help us find the perfect home, which only took two days, and we ended up closing on it in about one month. I couldnt be happier with the process, which wouldnt have been nearly as wonderful as it was without Kim. She is professional, helpful, kind, honest, and all around fantastic to work with! I worked with Shane and Kim Baker for my 1000 mile move from New Jersey to Florida. I had Shane looking at homes from Ocala to Lithia. In this sellers market Shane was always watching for new listing to hit the market. I had very special needs, wanting acres of land and a block home. Shane was very thorough even pointing out where railroad tracks were located near the property. Shane went above and beyond setting up all the inspections. I would highly recommend Shane and Kim Baker as your real estate agents as I know they will take care of you like they took care of me. Moving a thousand miles is not easy but they made it as easy as they could.
Kim helped us buy our new dream home and sell our old home too. She worked nonstop and kept us informed of all developments and explained every detail along the way, which was greatly appreciated. OUTSTANDING! Buying a house has been one of the most stressful experiences of our lives. Kim Barker not only made it easier, but was very reassuring and patient with us throughout the entire process. 5 stars is not enough for Kim and Vitis Realty. I wish I could give her more. This was the first time I was selling a house and Kim made it easy. She asked the right questions, listened to me, and was there whenever I had a question or was getting worried. She was spot on with everything. Kim came highly recommended from the very beginning. From friends..co workers. Mortgage companies as well..so I was excited from the start. I was so please when I met her. She was friendly and sweet while professional and very knowledgeable. Her associate Amber was also very sweet and friendly. I immediately felt like they were members of my own family. Amber took a chance contacting me about a particular home. I was sick and not feeling well at all and really didnt want to move from my slumber.. but she thought Id like this home and didnt want me to miss out. I met her at the house. Fell in love...and within days we had made an offer and accepted a counter offer and closed on our home within one month and a week! It was amazing. Kim and Amber both walked me thru the whole process and made me feel at ease .. Making sure I understood all things. It was a pleasure to work with Kim and Amber both. I recommend them highly. They only offer 5 stars, but here is another 5: *****. Buyers and Sellers, listen to me: Im a Christian pastor and Im writing the truth. My wife and I had to sell our house in Dade City at the beginning of 2016. We went to breakfast at Sunrise in Zephyrhills and prayed that somehow God would show us the way to do this properly. Having had some frustrations with other realtors in the past, I decided to pray about this decision. Immediately after I prayed I looked up at the TV monitors and there was Kims ad. I called her and she came by that day to look at the house. The rest is history. She gave us an estimate of how to price it to sell within 90 days or so. Not only did we get offers during that time, but we would have sold it MUCH SOONER than 90 days (in sold in exactly 90 days) had it not been for a very low appraisal. This is where Kim really shined. She had done her homework and went to work to fight to get the appraisal where it SHOULD BE. She exceeded our expectations on the sale price of the home, she exceeded our expectations on her promise of communication, and she exceeded our expectations on the process. My advice to you? Tell Kim what you hope for in your sale or purchase. If she says yes its possible, then great. If she says no, then listen carefully to her because she is the expert! Then let her go to work for you....trust me, she will. My wife and I can not recommend her highly enough.
Love love love these guys! We moved to North Carolina and still owned a property in Lakeland. Contacted Vitus about selling it and all I can say is they worked some magic! Put the house on the market and the team went to work getting our place some much needed exposure. 40 days later here we are, property sold, with a great deal for us and the buyer! 2021-06-15Whelp, we closed on our first house yesterday and I cant even begin to express our gratitude for Shane and Kim Barker at Vitis Realty. Theyve been working with us for years now, because were self-employed and our business was still fairly new when we first started looking for a house. Finally, this year we qualified for a decent home loan and within weeks theyd found the perfect house for us.I will say, God blessed us—not just with this amazing realtor-duo, but also with some pretty smooth sailing. And I know that isnt always the case, especially with the market the way it is right now, but I also know that Shane and Kim played a huge part in how smoothly it went. We used a loan officer that they recommended, Amy with South State bank, and she was wonderful. They helped us with the inspections, pointed things out we ever would have thought of, and stuck with us all the way until the end when we signed our closing agreements.When I say I hiiiiiighly recommend this couple, I mean it.

2022-09-09Shane and Kim were awesome! When my mother passed and left us mired in probate Shan and Kim jumped in feet first. They helped us along the way during the clean up, estate and finally the sale of the property. We sold ahead of schedule and for better than market terms. Bravo and well done. We finished our closing from another state and it went smooth because of Kim.We sold our house for top dollar because of her expertise and navigating negotiations.We hardly had to do anything (besides pack!)You absolutely wont go wrong with Vitis.
