2022-04-05This is a canal leading out to Lake Alto in Waldo. I guess it is navigable but the water is fairly green this time of year. I saw turtles sunning but not much other wildlife. Much of the land is in conservation but it appears you can launch a small boat.

2019-06-10Looked for a picnic spot while traveling on Rt 301 and found this with Google Maps. Worked out well. It is a little out of the way and buggy however scenic, with a trash can, no restrooms. Went past the Waldo Railway Museum to get there, an added bonus. A good discovery. Would like to know if there is a walking trail as what looked like one was overgrown.

2021-07-04Small place hard to find if youre not from around there but very tranquil, peaceful and private! Well MOST DEFINITELY be returning to do some more fishing!

2019-05-25Lived here since 1981 and I have enjoyed the Canal since the beginning!! And I have caught a lot of nice fish out of lake Alto! Just watch out for the alligators! Lol
